Filled the shower no AC

My family and I went to check in, the receptionist proceeded to charge my card four times. She kept saying it wasn’t going through. She claimed maybe I didn’t have enough money in that card. I showed her my banking app and the charges. I tried my father’s card thinking it was a Chase Banking issue and she proceeded to charge his card 4 times. She asked another form of payment but we demanded to reverse the charges on the other cards first. Instead of her doing her job. She kept saying “You don’t have to get mad it won’t help anything” and kept repeating it over and over while we’re trying to get our money back. After an hour she finally reversed the charges and then conveniently her receiver stopped working. With other way to pay other than cash. I had to drive to the nearest bank, get cash, drive all the way back and finally pay for our stay. The staff was very incompetent and down right rude. Our hotel room was fine with all basic amenities. And at checkout had no issues. But for anyone who wants to stay here especially during grad season make sure to pay cash.

For being an older motel it is kept in good condition and the staff is friendly! Safety is important as I am a woman traveling alone and I felt safe and greeted and the man who ran the place made me feel comfortable and greeted me and made sure I had everything and even replaced the hairdryer right away! Super important for me:) It was a really great way to be at my conference and I didn’t worry about anything! I lived Arthur’s Cafe next door and went ever morning!

The AC in the room not working went to the office asked them. The AC is not working fix it. They told me he can’t do nothing about it. It’s not their problem. That’s how they take care of the issues. Don’t stay there. Worse bad place if anything broken, it will never be fixed. It will never be addressed. It was a valentines evening. It was the worst because I booked that hotel and I paid $220 for that room. It was not worth it bad place don’t stay there.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great. There are lots of restaurants , fast food joints and grocery stores in walking distance. It's just off the highway in a very safe neighborhood. Although the room was very clean, it had a bit of a damp smell to it. Everything felt a bit worn down.

Jacuzzi didn't work although it did fill up with water the bed squeaked but the staff was nice and they let me in my room before checkin time

There was red sauce splattered on the inside, and the desk was dusty. One of the light bulbs in a light fixture was out. Also, the a/c unit seemed very old and it took a long time to cool the room. I told the front desk about these things as I was checking out. I didn't expect them to do anything (because I was leaving) except to be more attentive in their cleaning and maintenance.

Cockroaches. Rainbow LED lights in the ceiling. Hair in bathtub. Stained towels. NASTY! It was prepaid- $204! Do NOT STAY HERE!

The location was good and staff was helpful. The bathroom light did not work. We could see light clearly through the weather stripping in the door. Overall, it is fairly shabby and needs updating and maintenance. Bed was terribly uncomfortable.

The location is great! Convenient to Orange and also the freeway to get to the beach There was a big stain on the loveseat. There was no blanket just a thin bedspread and when we asked for a blanket they brought us another bedspread. The shower is in a jacuzzi tub with a dangerous step to get in and the shower water goes outside the edge of the jacuzzi and there’s nowhere for it to go except all over the floor. We soaked several towels each day

Best ever stay. Most beautiful motel.We stay in motels as we travel each Summer on our Harley. Hundreds and hundreds of motels. This is the most very decorated ever. Staff was accommodating and joyful. Don't cheat yourself, be amazed. Only there one night.

Construction including stripping a roof and cement chunks being tossed into a dumpster next door started at 5 am so that was a wake up call. Clean but everything was knicked up, scratched or scuffed including a large drywall patch wall that hadnt been painted. Solid 5 stars on the rave lights outside on the palm trees and in the interior blue and while recessed can lights. Feels like a party

Water out of the sinks were white, beds were rock solid and holes in the wall.

"Cheap and cheerful" defines it. Front desk was helpful whenever we needed anything. Rooms are dated, but clean and comfortable. It's a great local motel if looking for something in the immediate area.

Not suiteable for Expedia travellers. Does not serve coffeee. Rooms were dusty. We checked out and wanted to leave our bags for 4 hours but the management refused. Please take off the experdia listing.

Terrible place. No privacy. They look and watch every single thing you do

Stayed here a few times before and noticed they have a Hot Tub suite so I decided to go ahead and pay the extra to book it. It was worth it. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the hot tub especially compared to other ones I’ve stayed at. The motel was quiet and the room was clean with plenty of the necessities. I’ll for sure stay here again and recommend experiencing the hot tub room if possible.

Room is very clean and comfortable. The owner is very attentive in personal care of the guests and has been this way on multiple visits there.

It took a long time to check in. I did not like the fact that they took a copy of my credit card. The staff were nice. The room was ok. not worth what I paid. There patches on the wall. I found pubic hair In tub and the sheets.

The place was below average for a motel. No amenities to speak of. The deal breaker was the hair I found between my sheets along with crumbs. Clearly the sheets hadn't been changed. Overall, this place is pretty rundown. Won't be back, ever.

Our neighbors in the motel played extremely loud music from 10pm until dawn. After the music turned off somebody was screaming in pain for about an hour. We were unable to sleep in this motel. I do not understand why the motel staff did not intervene. o one in this hotel could have been able to sleep.

This a very clean, quaint, old school style motor hotel. It's not new but it is quiet, comfortable, and immaculately clean. The proprietors are genuinely nice, very helpful folks. Highly recommend!

Proximity to Orange Hill Restaurant, closest motel available. Easy travel and back.

The lady at the front counter was really nice she explained to me how some of the things worked. I had gone by myself to get out of my house for a while I needed space and she didn’t act as if I was a “night worker” checking into her place. It was nice

From a smeared dirty wall (unfinished painting project) to shabby furniture to a FILTHY settee to a live spider in my sheets when I turned them down the first night, this hotel was unsuitable to be advertised. The desk staff were friendly and if this is family owned, I wish they understood how much improvement is needed, as the buildings have potential. It was hard to relax in the room--no where to sit comfortably.

This Room was double booked and I have yet to get a refund. When you called the hotel they do not answer, and when you leave a voicemail they do not answer

The beds were very uncomfortable and the guests above us were loud so we got very little sleep through the night. (I would recommend asking for a SECOND floor room.)

Room feels like it is wide open. You can hear everything that is going on around the room to the point of waking up constantly. It gets incredibly warm in the room and the AC cannot keep up. The shower does not get hot at all. Very unsatisfied.

Stayed here to be not too far to a concert in Irvine price was reasonable room was clean shower remodeled nothing fancy fine for 1 Night

staff takes a photocopy of drivers license and credit card-this is severe lack of privacy and potential abuse culd lead to identity theft

I enjoyed my stay and everything was what I expected it to be for our anniversary stay.

Turns out she was making a cash deal with some illegal. Of course no privacy was offered when he went in. The room was terrible, the beds were so uncomfortable and you barely move you nearly bounce off the bed. There were no blankets, just a sheet and a bed cover that was paper thin. One of the sheets had a poop stain on it. Overall this was the worst hotel we have ever stayed. We would have been better off at motel 6 for half the price.

Great, spacious room at an amazing price. Very quiet. Terrific local restaurants (Genovese's, Arthur's)....however, bed was rock hard, no coffee in the room, and pillows were very, very used.

Parking was a little tight but great place to stay.

Place was good enough. Thin walls but just what I needed.

The power went off, and there was too much drama in the other rooms..and then they didnt even fix the problem. I ended up leaving atter like 5 hours, because i came for work & couldnt do any of it without electricity.

We walked in and felt like we had travelled back to 1962. The walls or so thin that you will hear your neighbor's iPhone alarm go off. The A/C heater if very noisy.This is clearly a case of a family purchasing an establishment and doing as little as possible. I suggest you spend a few more dollars and stay in a more cared for motel/hotel.

Older units but redone very nicely. look forward to staying there again next trip

The outer part of the building is freshly painted, and makes it more appealing. Once inside the room, I inspected the usual stuff (running water, toilet flushing, microwave and fridge working, door locks, etc.). The only complaints i have are as follows. PLEASE change the shower lining. The one in our bathroom had mold. I also noticed that the edges of the carpet are not vacuumed. I knew this because there was a cricket on the corner adjacent to the A/C (you can tell the cricket had been there for days). Also, the bathroom window does not have a screen. Please install one. I wanted to open the window for the nice air, but i feared bugs would fly in. Peter, at the front desk, was pleasant. Location is good, if you're planning to visit the Disney resorts. Other than the items listed here, our stay was good.

Very comfortable. Appreciate that our room wasn't quite ready for early check in, so we were given a free upgrade. Very nice folks who were most accommodating.

Bathroom was small but remodeled and nice, as was the sink area. All furniture was pretty beat up, We arrived late, area look pretty sketchy, in daylight didn't looks so bad

My room was clean and in a convenient location to my activities the next day. The staff was very nice and helpful. It was quiet and peaceful leading to a good nights sleep. Very reasonable prices. I would stay there again.

I enjoy every time i stay at sky palm. Its very comfortable clean and private.
