Motel 6 Opelika AL ⭐ 1/5 Stars The only positive thing about this hotel was the gentleman at the front desk. He was very attentive, professional, and friendly. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was terrible. The overall condition of the property was unacceptable. The doors were rusty and deteriorated, giving the entire place a neglected appearance. The room was dirty, and the towels were stained and looked unclean, which raised serious concerns about hygiene and cleanliness. The only other positive aspect was that the beds were comfortable. Aside from that, the hotel was very disappointing and did not meet even basic standards of cleanliness and maintenance. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others.

Entering through a locked back door was just the beginning. A busted window on the second floor made us feel unsafe, but the room was a nightmare. My son found feces in the toilet. The air conditioning didn’t work, the room smelled awful, and the fire alarm was beeping from a dead battery. When we told the front desk, they told us to just unplug it—putting us at risk of fire or carbon monoxide poisoning. The beds squeaked, there were crumbs in the sheets, and the pillows were awful. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone—avoid at all costs.”

The only good thing is the location. It was too old, the facilities were poor, and it was too dirty.

Check in was not good. Keys didn't work TWICE requiring a room move. Pillows are tiny. Towels are thin and small. It's a $90/night motel for a reason, I guess.

When we checked in we made management aware that I had service dogs. Everything was fine, we checked in then we went to go to our room and the manager (David) saw my dogs and became very hostile! Then we had to move to two different rooms, we had no more than finally gotten checked into our third room.. then the cockroaches showed up! At this point as a disabled senior citizen (who was trying toto recover from his 17th surgery) not to mention, may the good Lord Almighty help you if you end up in the back building. You see, there are no sidewalks or any good way to get to the back to buildings. I could not in good conscience recommend anybody stay here! There are far better alternatives when spending your hard-earned money!

Fastfood and a gas station nearby. Lots of parking and for big trucks/trailers. The room was basic, but very hard used. Blankets and sheets were laundered but had stains and cigarette burns. Lights didnt work. Microwave was parked on a chair… shower was hot and had good water pressure though

The first room bed corner fell and had to move to another room. The second room heater went off early nite and would not come back on. Was so cold in there had to check out early morning. The hot water did not work and remained cold after running a while. Could not shower. When closing the bathroom door, it hit the toilet and could not close it.
