Breakfast was good. Had to pay for parking and if I knew I wouldn’t have booked. Also said they have a jacuzzi and pool. No Jacuzzi so that was a boo! Also indoor pool was freezing could barely get my legs in. Not good as I was looking forward to swimming. The small fridge in our room has a timer in it so it was off and over night I turned off not keeping items cold as it should. Bad feature and not first friendly. Everything else was fine.

Great service, parking right around the hotel, clean rooms, comfortable beds, great free breakfast It would be great to add some weights to the fitness room.

    The breakfast was great

There was an issue with the pool and we couldn't use it. Some staff was very nice others made it feel like we were an imposition. Key cards were not working properly as well.

The room itself was great. Nice, spacious, clean room with everything in working order. The staff was very polite at check-in, check-out, and any other interactions. While this is not the hotel's fault, it is worth pointing out - Despite being in downtown Omaha, which I assumed to be a good location, the hotel is less than a block away from a homeless encampment and homeless people can be seen wandering near the hotel. The reason I booked the hotel was to be within walking distance of an event just a short walk away, but I did not feel safe walking around the neighborhood, so I still ended up using Uber. I noticed security in the parking lot on one of the two nights I was there, but it definitely took away my main motive for staying here. Had I known about the neighborhood, I would have stayed at a cheaper hotel outside of town and just Ubered to/from the event.

Unfortunately the pool was so cold my kids wouldn’t swim in it. This is the first time this has ever happened at a hotel. This hotel is very close to a homeless shelter so there are a lot of wandering homeless people in the area but the hotel did feel safe. There is no access into the lobby unless you have a key or get buzzed in. (First time I’ve seen this). Overall our room was clean and comfortable. We had a spacious bathroom but wish it would have had a vent. We did have a mini fridge but no microwave. The breakfast was very good for a free breakfast. Lots of yummy options and as someone who is gluten free I was pleased to find a gluten free muffin! The staff we interacted with were all very nice. Honestly the only reasons for 4 stars were due to the super cold pool and sketchy location.

I had a wonderful stay at Fairfield inn in downtown Omaha. It is a very clean hotel. The staff was all very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and different each day I was there. I used and liked the treadmill. I did not get a chance to use the treadmill but would like to the next time I stay. My favorite part was the hot water for my baths. It was such a delight. Often the water is only lukewarm but not here and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I literally have no complaints. So thank you for a really nice stay

It was a great place to stay. The only thing I would mention is to be informed about parking. It’s $15 a night to park in the hotel parking lot.

  • Engine customer Apr 2026

Breakfast was excellent, location was convenient for our activities.

I wasn't really crazy about the $15 fee to park the car each night, but the stay overall was great. Jaden, the front desk clerk was very attentive. He brought the baby's bed to our room before we were even unpacked! He was also very helpful with getting us set up with grub hub. Thank you, Jaden, I hope you get a raise!
