They say is pet friendly but is not, I arrived from South Carolina and the woman in front desk told me they not accept pet I have a cat, because the cat pee, Dog Pee on anywhere but not cats I have little box for my cat, it was a terrible experience we were tired was around 10pm at that time we have to book another hotel.

When I first arrived christina welcomed me and was very helpful checking me in and answered any questions I had and helped with any problems .. breakfast was very good and nice clean rooms and hotel .. food all around the area.. only bad part was no hot tub lol but other then that was a great stay..

We actually stayed for six days! It was so nice. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We loved "Betty" who made our breakfast every morning. She never lets anything run out! Housekeeping was really efficient and very kind - I didn't get their names but they were so sweet. It was so great that you are pet friendly as well. We also enjoyed the pool every day. We will be back for sure!! Oh and also the woman I spoke

We had a king size bed that was very comfortable and the room layout was great. The A/C worked perfectly. Breakfast was amazing! Excellent value for the money.

The location was good, close to stores and restaurants. The ironing board was broken but they replaced it when I informed the front desk. I'm disappointed that as of today, I have not received a final receipt after checking out, this has never happened at any other hotel that I have stayed.

Day staff, specifically the 2 ladies at the front desk were quite stand offish. Uninterested in conversation. Would not look you in the eyes. Night staff made up for it. Very clean facility. Comfortable. The "How Skipping" crew came extremely early - 9AM. Facility could use better parking.

Our room with 2 queens and sitting area worked out perfectly for our family of four. Room decor is simple but updated which we liked. Breakfast offerings were adequate and refilled on a timely manner, although the dining room is small.

We enjoyed our overnight stay here at this property. This place is in a safe area and we didn't have to worry about the stuff thats in the back of our car. The room is spacious, clean, and well managed. The only issue (which is not really bad) was there was a musty smell, likely from dog in room previously and some dog hair on carpet (we got an ADA room). Otherwise, as mentioned, room is very well kept and clean. We would stay here again when in the area.

Nice, clean hotel with free breakfast, wifi, and parking. Rooms have small frig but no freezer, microwave and several cable channels. Bathroom has walk in shower and large shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and lotion next to the sink. Housekeeping every other day but you can ask for extra towels, etc, at the front desk. Breakfast variety of making your own waffles, reg or strawberry batter, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, different style of eggs, sausage, bacon, bread, scones, muffins, yogurt, and hard boiled eggs. Coffee and hot water is available all day. I’m a coffee snob so I left to get lattes down the street at Penny’s Cafe, which is a cute place with games, books, and items for purchase. Although we didn’t use the pool it was nice and clean, but no hot tub which would have been nice. The downfall was the temperature of the water was warm and never got hotel in the shower. I didn’t mind with this humidity in June, but my husband takes hot showers.

Due to a water pipe break, drinking water was an issue. The hotel did what it could to make the stay enjoyable.

Cons: Staff didn’t inform us you Can’t drink the water. They didn’t mention it until after check-in. Front desk told us the water is Not safe for drinking unless you boil it. The woman at the front desk was not helpful and just rushed us in. No ice, no coffee and part of breakfast was removed due to the co diction of the water.

The room was very clean and comfortable however, my room was on the side of a bar that was next-door so it was very loud even with the television on. With the sound ordinances for the city the noise went on till just after 11 PM.

This hotel was supposed to be close to the airport; it is not, it's a half hour drive away. There are no amenities, no real food. If the dates of your stay change, they hit you with a penalty worth more than your room. Note that this penalty applies not to a cancellation, but a change of dates made more than two weeks prior. This is how much they value customers. Plus, breakfast ends at 9:30 am. Choose somewhere else.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn for three days on a short family trip to the Tampa area and it was safe and clean with nothing to worry about.

I was moving out of state and stayed here for one night after moving out of my apartment. I was traveling with my dog and bird. Normally they do not allow birds due to noise, but they made adjustments and got me a room that was amazing. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were very kind and helpful.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel, will definitely go there again and recommend anyone. The housecleaning was great, the room was clean and replenished with towels and toiletries when needed. They provided us with the shuttle that fell within their 5 mile radius to my medical procedure which was super helpful especially since we were new to the area. They offer several choices within the daily breakfast. The location was great for us as it is centrally located to the places we needed to go. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. My husband loved the hot cookies offered daily, he would look forward to this every day. They also have a stationary that was very helpful at no extra cost. The only reason I didn’t give a five star to the appearance of the facility is because they had a water stain/leak at the entrance of the building as you enter their premises; other than that, the building has a clean pleasant smell when you step in. Definitely recommend this hotel to others. 👍

I noticed carpet in a number of areas including my room, is worn and stained. Carpet needs to be replaced. Sraff were outstanding although I requested a wake up call my last day and never received it.

Wonderfully located hotel between Clearwater and downtown Tampa. A lot retail stores, restaurants and convenience gas stations around the hotel. The hotel itself is very clean, organized, well equipped, quick and friendly service. The rooms are modern, large comfortable bed/pillows, large containers of shampoo/body wash, microwave and fridge. The full breakfast is excellent, fresh all the options you can think of from the classics of eggs, sausage, potatoes, French toast, pancakes, and fruit/nuts/granola/yogurts, juices, and coffee/tea station (24hrs). The ladies who take care of the breakfast are very friendly, helpful and truly take care of you! God bless you all and thank you.

Spotless, very friendly staff. Breakfast (included) was very good. The only problem I encountered was difficulty connecting to the wifi. After trying several times, the woman at front desk (Thursday evening) was able to get me connected but back in my room it disappeared again. I eventually discovered that my 4th floor room (415) had a dead zone and would only show the wifi if I stayed on the door side of the room. They need a signal booster for the 4th floor.

Everything was great, minor issues, but I would stay there again. They're definitely much better than some 4 to 4.5 star hotels that I have stayed at. I need the bedding to smell fresh though, no wasting cleaner/water on the floor without a heads up or cleaning it up. Ensure that all guests using the the luggage cart, brings it back so that other guests who need it can use it.

Spacious lobby, which leads into a breakfast area. This is the only sticking point we had - breakfast was so busy and there was a high chance you had to wait to sit down to eat. It is not a big breakfast area and not big enough to cope with a full hotel at peak time, which was a little stressful, especially with kids in tow. However, I would still recommend this hotel to those who want to be in/near the Tampa area and only 15-20 minutes away from the wonderful beaches. We were very happy with our choice and think it was great value for money.

The front desk staff were very kind and listened to my complaints. As for the stay, there were bedbugs in my room. After that I felt the place was dirtier than it looked and I just felt it wasn't worth all the money I spent to stay there, also considering the facility was newly renovated. There are also a few unhoused individuals in the parking lot in the night and early in the morning. It made me feel a little unsafe moving from my car to the hotel at those times.

Staff was nice, king room was oversold by Expedia with no notification so ended up in two queen bedroom; so much for romantic weekend as husband and I ended up sleeping in separate beds. Room was clean, but basic. AC unit was unpredictable and VERY noisy. The hotel was sold out and lots of noise during our stay, not very sound proof. Breakfast was decent. Beds were comfortable enough.

Even with the fan on the low setting, the air conditioner is rather loud preventing a good nights sleep. The second comment relates to the wall mounted lights next to the bed. The lights work fine, but within a minute or two after turning off the lights there is a series of loud clicking noises coming from behind the wall. One possible cause is thermal expansion of the light housing. The light, after being on for a little while, heats the likely aluminum housing causing it to expand. Once the lights are turned off, the aluminum contracts causing the clicking noise. Not a deal breaker, just annoying.

Everything about the hotel and the people and the area was good they just have terrible food. I stay at many hotels and the food is not bad. The food here was just blah. And the coffee was even worse. But a great place to sleep. I always feel that they're going to offer breakfast even if it's Continental style it should at least be tasty. If not just put a few bananas and apples and some toast out with some butter and jelly and maybe some donuts or something. Invest into a great coffee system. These are items that people today are looking for with their state and the money that they are paying.

This was a wonderful hotel to stay in just before pur cruise. We were very happy with the cleanliness of the property, the beds were super comfortable, we loved the free parking on site. The staff were super friendly and breakfast in the morning was great with lots of variety. Overall a great hotel, would definitely recommend.

Everything about this property was excellent. From the staff at the front desk to the kitchen staff who took care of the breakfast and the ladies who cleaned the rooms, everything was great. Everyone we met was accommodating and always took care of anything we needed. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend the Holiday Inn to anyone coming to Tampa.

Good price, clean and renovated

Just a very average hotel. Breakfast was just OK and not stocked well or quickly. All of our towels were taken out of our room and not replaced with anything. Had to go down to the desk and get fresh towels.

The breakfast was fresh and refilled promptly when items ran out. The pool is VERY small. Something to note - probably why there is no images of it online lol

Very clean hotel. Just needed it for one night as I arrived late and left early the next morning but everything was perfect.

Went to Tampa for the weekend, it was a very nice and clean hotel! The bed was a little too soft but overall I cannot complain. The breakfast was better than I expected. Very nice hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay. It was a bit noisy on the second night which was a bit unsettling but other than that it was amazing. I would definitely stay again.

Hotel was nice and clean only issues were the a/c is on some eco friendly mode and there’s no option to keep the fan constantly on. For the cooler states that’s not an issue but for florida with the humidity it would get muggy in the room every time the fan shut off. Other than that everything was good.

Perfect hotel, super clean, bed and pillows were comfortable. The only issue I had is they advertise as having EV chargers but they couldn't find the adapter for non tesla vehicles.

Wonderful hotel. Very clean. Updated rooms and breakfast variety was perfect. Only missing exhaust fans in the bathrooms. Beds were very comfy!

Never had a problem finding a parking place. Rooms were bright and clean. Breakfast was very good. Coffee available 24 hrs.

Staff was friendly and attentive to my needs. The second day of being there I found a roach on my bed in which I informed the front desk and they upgraded immediately which I appreciate because I was with my wife and that could have been a nightmare.

This is a good one.

However, pool was tiny (not great for kiddos, pictures are very deceiving) and water dirty (bits floating on the water, daily). Additionally, wifi is absolutely awful - we were a long way from home so we drpended on it and it kept throwing us out. We called the tech services but they were powerless. Reception offered to switch rooms for us but all available similar tooms (junior suite) had the same problem. If you're from the US it's ok because you have your own data. But if you're foreign, no chance of good internet....my 12 yr old logged in with the nearby Marriott free wifi!!!!! Go figure!! Also, we booked and paid for a junior suite - according to them it was a junior suite, but we didn't think so, being seasoned travelers. Way too small for a "junior suite". Overall, it's a good place with nice staff but they could make an effort with the above. They didn't really seem to care.

Thelady who checked us in was very sweet and funny, our room was cleaned every day invluding fresh towels. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful even with a full house.

Over all the place is a convenient place to stay. It’s clean. The pool was dirty you can tell they don’t clean the pool often, it had a ton of dead flys in it. One of the days I was there they did not clean my room. One day I called to ask what time they stop serving breakfast they said 10 but closed the breakfast area at 9:30. When I asked about it they denied saying that. The staff were not rude but they weren’t friendly either. I probably wouldn’t stay there again.
