Rooms need PIP updating. Not very clean. Zero excitement from the front desk staff. Felt like Motel 6.

The 1st room we were given smelled really bad, so I called the front desk and asked for a spray or something. The front desk clerk said they do have spray but it was really strong and most people don't like it. So instead she offered to give us another room and rushed the key upstairs to us and made sure it was good. The hallways was extremely dirty on the floors looked like they haven't been cleaned for awhile.

Would never stay there again! Yikes!

I was very disappointed with the cleanliness and condition of this hotel. The room felt dirty upon arrival — there were hairs in the shower, the carpet was filthy, and the furniture was peeling and worn out. On top of that, the pillows had an unpleasant smell, which made the stay very uncomfortable. Overall, the room did not feel clean or well maintained. I would not stay here again based on my experience.

I was severely over charged for the room. And at $160 a night you would think the bathroom was clean, the TV was plugged in and the elevator did not act like a death trap. There were no luggage carts, the breakfast was passable, no maid service on the second day. Building looked run down. The exercise center was a broken treadmill.

Facility is as describe in the pictures. Staffs are all nice and helpful. Our room is near by the fire exit (room 1100) and I honestly did not get enough rest because of the banging noise of the door of the fire exit. It keeps banging from night until around 3 in the morning. The hotel should put a signage to gently close the door or put something to make the door slide smoothly because the neighboring room like where we checked in will hear those loud banging sound and it is indeed disturbing. Thank you.

We reserved the room days in advance, and they gave it away, then told me we had to come back tomorrow to speak to the manager for the refund. Extremely inconvenient having to now book at another hotel at the last minute.

When we arrived to our room, there was no comforter on one of the beds, only a sheet. Then there was no remote to the tv. For breakfast on our 2 day stay there was no coffee, juices and barely any food. We arrived for breakfast at 730am.

This was by far our worst experience at a LaQuinta. Upon arrival both elevators were out of order. We booked two rooms, opened the door to one of our rooms and was greeted by construction equipment in the room and the room was clearly under maintenance. We were moved to two new rooms. Our king room had a tub shower. The water did not drain properly so when we took showers we would end up standing in 4 inches of water because it would take about 30 minutes for the water to drain. In our double room we returned one afternoon to find ants all over one of our suitcases. This was a very disappointing experience. The only bright spot was the front desk staff. The front desk staff were very pleasant, accommodating and professional. I give the front desk staff 5 stars, but sadly despite the property being fairly new it needs a lot of maintenance help.

So to have a child with cerebral palsy walk that length was out of the question. The room was in a terrible state, from the ac wall gauge not working, the fibers of the carpet coming up a few inches and getting stuck in wheels, to the rusty screw sticking out of the bathroom floor in between the toilet and bath, the shower curtain having holes and stains all over it, to the beds dipping and the pillows being paper thin. Now to the cleanliness of the property…the outside is covered in bird nests and poop, the elevator sounds like it’s about to break and is covered with sticky stuff on the walls and floors, the sheets and towels had hair all over them. It’s like the people that work here just don’t care and don’t understand that they’re in the hospitality industry.

There were two La Quintas right next to each other. Mine was great, the other older one where my brother stayed was horrible. Breakfast was very mediocre. I would have liked liked bulk oatmeal (not in a package) with the option to add add a variety of toppings.

The staff was really nice and helpful. Hotel is in a very convenient location surrounded by many restaurants and stores. Our room was at the end of the hallway on the first floor and there was an exit right by our room and people kept walking in and out (there was a card slot so only those staying at the hotel could come in, but it didn’t even work so anyone could just walk in).

The rooms are large, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the A/C was nice and chilly

The room in which we stated was atrocious. It had not been cleaned. There wa black spots on the pillow case..pink bacteria in the shower, the mattress cover was ripped, I wiped down the door and had a ton of dust. Still waiting to hear back from the manager. I definitely would not stay here.

I told the front desk that my room was not totally clean. The floor was not vacuumed. The furniture had crumbs on it. There was hair in the shower. They told me they would give me a new room. I went to the new room, and found a bug on the floor. I showed them the bug, and they said they could not transfer me to a lot of rooms. They said they would tell the manager, so she could give me something for my inconvience. They never did.

Room 1108 needs to replace the tub valve. There is not enough pressure on the showerhead because of the leak in the tub valve.

This was the last night of our stay in Texas for a graduation trip. We flew out early the next morning. This hotel was amazing very clean with excellent customer service.

Keys didn’t work, a lot of dirt at the entrance of the door, no power inside the room, pills on the floor, and to top it off was old food in the microwave. Terrible experience. I immediately requested a refund and found a different hotel a few miles down the road that didn’t have these problems,

Much more professional, and much more in tune with their specific assignments. And the desk clerk wouldn’t smell of cleaning products. Not her fault, I totally realize, but she should be “the face” of LaQuinta, fresh and helpful.

The housekeeping DOES NOT change the bedding they remake used beds! We had someone’s stinky dirty socks in our bed then had to do their jobs for them and change the bedding ourselves and then we found a bedbug in the bed! IF YOU CHANGED SHEETS MAYBE YOU WOULDNT HAVE BUGS THAT IS SO NASTY!!! The man working overnight was amazing and super nice. The ladies and management the next day were awful and rude. We left and stayed at the Hilton (so much better please go there instead!) and got a refund, we will def not be back in our future trips. Absolutely unacceptable and vile. I’ll attach photos of the disgusting conditions.

There was no plug for the tub, had to use a washcloth(even after asking front desk). The bathtub had mold in it, and the carpet smelled of dog pee. This was our first and last stay with La Quinta :(

Decent stay, the door had the loudest squeak the shower door was so loud opening it. Loud enough to wake up the whole floor. Towels smelled like bleach burnt my eyes using them. There has to be something in the water my nose was getting stuffed almost like allergies and the pillows absolutely sucked.

Great weekend stay! Staff was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. I stayed in a king room. The room and bathroom were both very spacious and well-equipped. The TV didn't work, but that didn't affect my stay. I let the front desk know upon check-out.

It was great. I slept well and in comfort. I had breakfast. I really enjoyed my stay. Most importantly I felt safe.

The room was dusty and a bit musty (I think it was the carpet, like the smell of pet urine), but I went to a store & got Air Freshener and a small rug to throw down over the stain & that helped a lot. The staff was excellent.

The hotel is nice everyone was friendly, and I recommend the location.

Please avoid this hotel at all cost. Housekeeping did not clean our room. They just made the bed and made everything look organized. There were stains all on the bed along with hair all over the pillows. It was absolutely disgusting. I was traveling with my two small children and it was absolutely unsanitary. When I called the front desk to complain, all they did was offer new sheets and I had to change the bed myself. Another room was not even offered. Please do not stay here if you are wanting clean conditions.

Was having water pressure issues. Told us once we get to our room , check the water. If it wasn’t good let her know and she would swap our room. It wasn’t great pressure but wasn’t bad so we decided to stay in our room. The room wasn’t that clean. Dirty stains on the carpet , dirty stains on the sheets on one of the beds. The bathroom sink, tub and floor was dirty as well. We cleaned up with our sanitizer wipes and called it a night. The next morning we go down to the breakfast area. The worst hotel eggs ever!. The eggs were full of water and salt and the sausages didn’t looked cooked properly. As we try to get showered and ready for the road we noticed the water was hardly coming out of the faucet even none at times. Also , the water didn’t even get warm. We just washed ourselves off the best we could. After we dressed and packed I let the front desk staff know our complaint. After asking for the GM and having to go through 2 other employee , assistant managers I was told I can go to the hotel next to them , also a La Quntia ! They tell me they send people over there for showers if they need to???! Would have been nice to have been told this the night of check in and could have just checked in to that hotel. Probably a cleaner room as well?! You shouldn’t be allowed to rent rooms until your water issues are fixed.

I have stayed at this hotel everytime I have been to Odessa for the past two years. I can say that this hotel is going in the wrong direction. Not as clean as normal (food left in fridge from last guest - hair in shower). There is very little water pressure in sink or shower. Shower head looks like it hasn't been cleaned in long time with all hard water build up. Water never did get warm in shower. Told staff about issues in the morning and the response was very cold and not caring. Overall a very disappointing stay and will be looking elsewhere in the future!

The overall cleanliness was top tier. The customer service was great to check in but so-so on check out. Major problem was the water and water pressure…. THERE WAS NONE!!! It was a trickle of water in the morning and I do mean trickle. There was more water coming out of my water bottle! Just horrible! No explanation on check out. No , let me see what we can do about your stay or next stay!

Bed was very uncomfortable, had to change rooms due to AC ISSUE. The second room was ok, the stiff hard plastic shower hose was horrible and made taking a shower very bad. Very cheap and dollar store for this type of hotel.

Property was newer looking, smelled musty but not terrible. Appeared to be clean in the rooms. Breakfast wasn’t great or even just ok. The night attendant had terrible body odor that you could smell before ever reaching the counter. Wasn’t a terrible experience but not a preferred stay.

The overall hotel appears new and clean but the first room we were given had a door that seemed like it had been kicked in because it would not lock at all and you didn’t need a key. You could just push the door open from the hall. There were only 2 towels for a 2 queen room. The next room we were transferred to was in disrepair. Water pressure was like a drip, the shower handle was falling off the sliding door and the shower bar was very rusty. Really disappointed with the condition since it had an 8.6 rating.

The shower/tub didn't drain very well.

Overall the room was dirty, it had moldy smell, the shower was not cleaned, the sink faucet had low water pressure, and the carpet was stained.

Staff is super friendly. Good location. Easy to get to midland and Odessa.

1 night stay. Stayed on the 4th floor. Water pressure was terrible.

The lobby and hallway floors were dirty with spilled purple suff everywhere. There were nasty brown stains on the carpet in the room. Black hairs on the bathroom cabinet and the shower walls. I seriously doubted whether the wrinkled, dingy sheets and towels had been cleaned/changed. I recommend staying at the Courtyard Marriot which is where I will stay on my next visit to Odessa.

A pretty average stay although the room was clean and comfortable breakfast was a bust- not much variety and salty eggs. The elevators were not working so had to climb stairs to get to room we were directed to aside door for our convenience but the receptionist neglected to tell us the key reader was broken couldn’t go in only out. Wished we’d known this before unloading luggage. As I said at the beginning only a B- or C+ stay
