Completely misleading and not worth the money.

This property allows pets, so we assume the smell of urine may have been caused by an animal urinating on the carpet or bed frame. On top of that, the plumbing was backwards — to get hot water you had to turn the dial to the cold side, and to get cold water you had to turn it to the hot side. The room was completely uninhabitable and never should have been assigned to a family. We did complain to the front desk, and Adriana was helpful and moved us to another room, which we appreciated. I would not recommend staying here. It may be cheaper than other options, but you definitely get what you pay for.

The air conditioning unit is antiqued. It’s so loud and constantly noisy, its hard to get any sleep with it making the loud noise when it comes on initially then rattles loudly the entire time its on. It makes it difficult to have a conversation without shouting. This definitely needs to be addressed, after all, its supposed to be relaxing when you’re on vacation, what’s the point if you’re not even able to fall asleep because of the air conditioner noise!!!

When I do a review I consider all factors and then do an honest assessment. In this case, as a business traveler, I would not recommend this location to anyone. Apparently the county or State of Florida is using this location to house unfortunate citizens, like homeless or derelict persons. I had put on the request that I am a business traveler. I didn’t know the area and chose this location because it was close to where my appointments were on the two days and nights I would be there. I was in room 103 on the first night. The noise level was just crazy. I got no sleep and couldn’t hear my calls. I had to go to the lobby to hear my clients. The second night I was moved to room 332. The voices and tv from the second floor travelled up through the wall as well as listening to complete conversations while trying to conduct business. The rooms are marginal, the tv stations are all mostly old programs and news. I laid awake again the second night. The maid service twice opened my door while I was in bed. Fortunately I had the catch lock moved over to avoid anyone from entering. Two nights of no sleep and having unfortunate people hanging around blocking the pool entry and overall destroying the hotel wasn’t a very pleasant experience. So it cost me about $200 for a miserable two days. The bright side was that Sonny’s BBQ is close by. Dennys restaurant is there also. I hope the owners turn the entire property into a shelter and stop pretending to be a business class hotel.

Outside and lobby of hotel is decent. The room was musty even though AC was on. No bed comforter just thin brown cover over stained sheets. Walls were cinder block with cracked textured ceiling. Full fridge and microwave available. No hot water in sink area. Didn't feel like it was a safe area to walk around.

Terrible stay. The room had a serious cockroach problem - there were roaches everywhere, which made it very uncomfortable and unsanitary. Cleanliness was extremely poor, and it did not feel safe to stay there. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

It’s was clean and smelled nice. Wasn’t aware of the city fee that costed me over $20.00 on top of my room rate. Then was charged a $50 deposit which I am currently still waiting to receive back

This was the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed at. There were roaches all over the room and bathroom. The room looked ok when I walked in. Then I saw hair on the pillow and in the sheets and a stain on the blanket. I put my own blanket on top of the bed and pillow because it was late and I was exhausted. As I dozed off I felt something on my face and turned on the light. It was a roach. I looked at the bedside table and they were all over it. There was mold in the shower. Dust throughout the room. I could go on. No excuse for the nastiness of this location. Horrible. I took a video because of how bad it was.

This place was much more enjoyable than the previous night at a Microtel

The property was very clean however the walls are very thin, so you cannot get a good night sleep because you can hear everything on both sides of the wall. My reference to the staff is because I left my large Bluetooth and no one called. I had to call to ask and then they called housekeeping.

This is a nice hotel and better than the rating it had when I booked it. It is updated for the most part. Although I did not get in it, the pool was open (in April). The fitness room was closed, not sure why. The room was clean. My only complaints were very low water pressure in the shower and not as hot as I'd have at my house water temperature. No breakfast, but there is a Denny's a few steps away and a McDonald's a few blocks away. I would stay here again.

It is pet friendly. Convienient location. Had one incident of a male front desk clerk being rude. The bed isn't very comfortable. I would only stay again if we are traveling with our dogs.

On top of that, I felt uncomfortable when I arrived because there was a lot of drug activity taking place among residents outside. It didn’t feel like a safe place to be. When I brought my concerns to the staff, they offered to move me to another room, but that one looked just as bad. By then it was close to midnight, and instead of helping me find a reasonable solution, the staff gave me attitude about wanting to leave. Looking back, it’s no surprise the parking lot was practically empty. Anyone who had the option to drive away and stay somewhere else probably did!

Wednesday night a guest checking in across from me had an agressive dog that lunged at me and so I merely said you should keep better control of your dog and guy got beligerant and lady apologized and was sweet but others got involved as she acted like I attacked her and all I said was that mam if your husband has nuerological or mental issues he should not be in charge of an agressive dog if he can't control it. She made excuses for him saying it was health related and I told her I am dying of rare blood cancer but I 2as not rude to either of you until her husband told me fu when he let the dog lunge to my door? Besides that their cable telivision was barely 20 channels you get with an antannae. And WIFI did not work at the end of hall next to stairwell where my room was and I asked about it as it was not working and reply was it is working at the front desk so not sure what to tell you? They did not care.

There was nothing to like about the facility. I will never stay there again. I didn't like it at all. The rooms were stink the beds werent clean there was also roaches and other bugs we found i reported it. Got a different room and it was the same exact thing stains on the bedding and sheets and roaches crawling around. Got another room and it was STILL stains and spots on the bedding but no roaches this time it was very uncomfortable stay. I was very upset and do t think I should have had to pay to sleep on beds with stains and roa hes crawling around the room.

Location was 9 minutes from the venue my daughter was going to play soccer It was old and dirty. You could even see the dust on the ceiling and rust in the bathroom.

The bed was comfy and room was a big and decent size , decently cleaned All of the sounds of moving and loud people in the hotel. The shower as well did not get hot enough with the water.

I love Lil Boosie, but I didn't like to hear him all night from the next room. It was from midnight through 4:45 am nonstop. All I can say is Lil Boosie has a super fan in Ococee.

Room had an overpowering smell of bad, low-quality industrial ("cleaning"??) chemicals. Floor in room was filthy, turned white socks brown within 2 minutes. If you're accustomed to decent hotel rooms, this place is not for you

This is my second time staying at this hotel and I have to say it would continue to stay there again. The only set back was that maid service does not come to your room to check if you need any supplies like tiolet tissue. I had to go to the front desk to ask for one because my room had run out.

We arrived at the hotel at 10:30 PM. The receptionist barely acknowledged us. We were handed our keys and told our room number. We went to our room and attempted to get in. The keys did not work. I went back down to the receptionist and was told that the keys were right. I went back upstairs tried the keys again, they did not work. Went back down and again the receptionist argued that the keys were fine. She sent another employee up with us to try and figure out what was going on, come to find out she had written the wrong room number on our key holder. There was no apology or even an acknowledgement of her error. The room was what I referred to as lipstick on a pig. The tile work in the bathroom was horrific. There’s no shelf in the shower to put anything on. It is just the basic standard Vinyl surround. The bed is covered with plastic wrap so every time you rolled over, you felt like you were in a bag of Fritos. Definitely will not be staying again very disappointed oh, and on Hotels.com. It said breakfast was included. There was no breakfast.

Nowhere to place shower items in shower. Bed was actually pretty comfortable. Ice machine noise was annoying late into the evening. Shower water didn’t get very hot. Shower stream was light.

Decent hotel in a relatively nice area. Hotel staff greeted coming in, however it is an older building with those type of issues. The smell of marijuana filled the halls in spite of it being a non-smoking hotel; of which was disappointing. Minor things to fix of which I do believe they will.

The overall condition of property, inside and out was Stephanie and ASHLEY 5star. Well lite and secure parking , rooms are very clean, and spacious. Stove top, microwave and fridge , and bedding and mattress where just right.

The room smelled horrible for it to be non smoking and had roaches in it. The king size bed had 2 toddler pillows and there was not enough wash clothes and towels . We had to constantly ask for clean ones. Staff was friendly. Never again .

When I first drove up to the property, I thought I might be sorry that I had selected the Suburban, but I was pleasantly surprised instead. Although the property is in serious need of updating, and the rooms are dark and old-fashioned, it was oddly comfortable. Because of its extended stay classification, the rooms are relatively large and have a full-size refrigerator, along with a sink, and cooktop. For an old building, our bathroom was freshly renovated and very clean, and the beds were oddly comfortable. I had spent a week traveling from South Florida to Winter Garden, and without hesitation, I can say that my most comfortable night’s sleep was at the Suburban. It was even more comfortable than the three nights I spent at the Hyatt in Boca Raton! My biggest pet peeve with any hotel is that I like the room cold while I sleep, but most hotel A/C’s cycle down at night and I end up sweating. Surprisingly, this was not the case at the Suburban. The room stayed cool all night, allowing me to sleep through the night comfortably, whereas I was sweating at the Hyatt. If you’re looking for a shiny, fancy hotel, this is not the place, but if you’re looking for a relatively inexpensive place to spend a couple of nights, it was definitely acceptable.

This was very insulting as I am a handicapped senior citizen (81 years of age) staying in a handicaped room. In addition, the deposit would not be returned to my credit card for several business days. This is even more insulting.

Check-in was nice, the young lady was friendly. I didn't get that much rest because the bed was to soft. My husband had a difficult time getting up off the bed to use the restroom (disabled) due to the bed being soft. It was listed as a full kitchen, but only has a full fridge and microwave and we only had one hand towel two dry towels. No was clothes to bathe with.

Not bad. Was charged $7 extra when i arrived, couldn't understand the front desk girl because of her accent so I just accepted it. TV was a little small for the room as opposed to the fridge that seemed a little large for room. Bought some food from their "pantry" but they had no plastic ware for me to eat with. Why sell food if your don't offer some type of utensils. Other than that not to bad. Comfy bed.

Horrible! We stood here for 3 nights, they never clean the room, we only had coffee for one day. We never had coffee in the room again we only had two towels for three of us. I had to go and buy more towels. We had no hot water in the sink to wash our face when you took a shower all the water was all over the floor. It was like stepping into a pool we had to use towels to clean the bathroom floor. The elevator was horrible. Every time you landed on the second floor the elevator was horrible the way it stopped. I screamed every time it stopped on the second floor. They told us they don’t clean the room every day they do it once a week. Worst worst place I ever stayed. Will never stay there again. I pay too much money for three nights to sleep in that type of atmosphere.

The hotel is clean and safe

Everything was nice except the wifi connection was poor and the delay of coffee. Other than that i enjoyed my stay and got much needed rest!

Nice area and the staff was nice and very helpful. I booked a room for my two kids, thier dad and myself. I was only given two towels for 4 people. There were no washcloths to bathe so we had to go buy some. The kids were excited to go in the pool, but didn't get to go because it was dirty and had dead animals in it from the night before i was told by another tenant. They did not clean it. You could still see the fecal matter and a lot of leaves were still in it

The area around is great, lots of nearby stores and restaurants and close to all attractions. The property itself smells a little like mildew and it smelled like marijuana all throughout the floor I was staying on. A little noisy throughout the night and there was a dog barking in the middle of the night in the room next door.

One thing I noted was that the door leading out to the pool area did not latch. This should be a key access only door for security reasons.

Rude staff. The room was not cleaned and no clean towels were given. When asked they were very rude. The area felt unsafe.

Booked room for my daughter and boyfriend as they were traveling overnight. They called in the middle of the morning at check in to let me know they saw several large roaches in room and decided not to stay. They drove an extra hour to my house. Refund was requested

This hotel was one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed, to start the staff was not knowledgeable on using hotels.com their communication skills were terrible not just because of the accents or language barrier but their lack of care and courteous tact was horrible. Then the room was some sort of converted banquet or meeting room with 15 foot ceilings that echoed everything. A non smoking room that smelled like marijuana and a hallway that smelled like each room was smoking it. The side entry door didn’t lock and people could be heard all night loudly walking the halls. At $79 dollars you think it’s a good deal but I wouldn’t stay there for $20.

Absolute worst hotel experience I've ever had. the lobby is deceptive and it may give the notion that the hotel is clean, but once you go upstairs you'll realize that the hotel feels like section 8 housing with people randomly walking around in sleepwear and doors cracked open with TV's playing loudly and the smell of an apartment building running through the hallway. The bed mattress was very uncomfortable and felt like it was made of old springs, the floor was smeared with footprints and Not clean. Most of the hotel looks like it has not been maintained in any way.

The room and hallway stink the service sucks you only allow 2 towel I stay there for 5 days they only want to give us 2 towels I had to fight with them then I get 2 towels and the room service lady demanded the old ones back an I rent the rooms for my wife and 2 kids 4 people and 2 towels! Smfh I’m still so pissed

Unfortunately, receptionist with thick Spanish accent was rude both times I called the hotel. She was worse when I tried to check in. My bathroom had an open part directly above the toilet which was dangerous. Cockroaches in the room. Toilet tissue & towels were scarce. Receptionist was the worst. NEVER COMING BACK.

Property was NOT clean. Room was dark, dingy, and smelled of smoke and mold. I fled moments after check in. Staff was not overly welcoming, but thankfully was understanding and gave me a refund for my stay.
