Clean and tidy; the room isn't large, but it has a bathroom where you can wash away your fatigue.

Stayed here for the Ariana Grande concert at Oakland Arena. The location is perfect as it’s only a few minutes from the venue. Of course you’re always a little weary when having to stay in Oakland but to be honest this property was not bad at all. The outside neighborhood is a little sketch but the hotel is gated and with video surveillance. The room itself is cleaned and comfortable. The bed was great and the linens were clean. Starr was courteous and friendly. The only bummer was having to pay $6 for parking but bc of the security I was happy to pay it. Overall I think I’ll stay here if I ever have to go to Oakland again!

Friendly staff. Lots of parking available, there's plenty of spots all around the building which was very nice. And they keep it very well lit at night, coming back late I felt very safe. The rooms are modern and the air conditioner worked perfectly, it kept the room nice and cold. There are vending machines with snacks and drinks and an ice maker at the front desk. The area is quiet despite what it appears, even during the day. There are no amenities. You must ask for them, but otherwise you get one bar of soap at the sink. I did not like having to stand in line to ask for a hair dryer when it should be in the room. The website also lists things like an iron and board being in the room but there was nothing. The walls are pretty thin though.

My room has lubed up hand marks on our head board itchy sheets with unknown stains, almost fully USED toilet paper not a new one set up, and our room STANK. The only good thing about this unit was the A/C if you can splurge a little more go somewhere else.

My room had a connecting door to the adjacent room. The door was very thin and provided almost no sound insulation. I could clearly hear conversations and noise from the guests next door. When I turned off the lights in my room, I could even see light coming through the gaps around the connecting door. Privacy and noise control were both major issues, making it difficult to relax or get a good night’s sleep.

We enjoyed our stay. We were here for the Ariana Grande concert at the Oakland area. It was very close to the venue. Only issue is the blankets were very thin. Very affordable and we would consider staying here again in the future.

Dirty room with damage. They filled in the pool with grass. Secret additional $100 deposit required. Parking is paid, even though you got homeless looking through your car and trash. They do NOT have cable, it's a coaxial connection. Tiny room. The TVs are like 16" and so old they can't connect to the Wi-Fi. The bed had stains. I left less than two hours after checking in -- and of course, no refunds.

The property is nice, clean and quiet! The staff or maybe they are the owner are kind and welcoming! It was our first stay there and I think I booked a regular double room with 2 queen beds, but the guy at the reception upgraded our room to deluxe double room with 2 queen beds as complimentary ☺️, I also like the fact that they provided bible in the room

One and done. Checked in and was told parking was extra. OK. I got into my room, floors were sticky. Cigarette smoke in the room. Sheets were suspect. Not sure why it has so many good reviews

Nothing at all The staff gave a customer my room key because I didn’t have it assigned to me at the time and the man walked into my room and refused to get out and threaten me saying to call the cops and I’m a squatter, but I clearly paid for my room and it was very upsetting. They didn’t do anything to make me feel better about it.

The location... I like to walk around a lot, and the nearest bus stop to take me to Alameda was a 20-30 minute walk, with about a third of the way not having side walks.

The neighborhood is not the best, but the parking and rooms felt safe. It was surprisingly quiet given how close it was to the freeway. I don't think I'll stay again, but it was great value for the bay area.

Expect to pay $6 for parking in their parking lot. There's really no choice unless you want to park outside of the hotel property and have your car broken into or stolen.

Free Wi-Fi I could hear the traffic from the highway. Didn't realize I would hear it. Very sensitive to noise. I was cold and could not adjust the thermostat. There was one thin cover not a blanket and a sheet.

The location is tucked away, and it seems to be secure. The room and overall property were not clean and the Wi-Fi did not work on the first floor, which required me to carry my stuff up a large amount of stairs. Even then, the Wi-Fi barely worked on the second floor as well. There were flies throughout, food on the ground, and a strong smell of weed. Floors, curtains, lights, and baseboards were visibly dirty, and I ended up cleaning the entire room myself using my own supplies. I was so uncomfortable I couldn’t sleep so I ordered cleaning supplies to be delivered from Walmart and proceeded to clean the entire room. I also requested replacement shower and room curtains due to visible residue and lack of cleanliness. After reporting these issues and requesting a partial refund the front desk was man was screaming at me and I did not feel safe. The property ended my stay and issued a full refund, which required me to find last-minute accommodation.

The staff was alright. The room however was very dirty. The sheets were very dirty and the comforter looked like it had grease stains all over it. We are not one bit exclusionary of staying at any kind of place however when it feels so dirty that we check out at 1130pm, we know it’s bad.

Overall stay was good. Clean room, clean linens and towels. No blow dryer. You can literally walk out on to Coliseum Way to get food. My only complaint is the bed was hard as a rock.

The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets.! The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble.

When i went to the desk to drop off the card the one guy infront of me kept staring me up and down and asked if i was alone. When i got to the desk after him the guy yelled at me saying nothing bad has happened here when that situation just happened. Despite other reviews i felt verey unsafe here

The surrounding area was very unsafe... the room had few amenities, the broken bed was noisy, and the hot water in the bathroom was low. I also didn't know they rented rooms by the month and that people actually lived there. I wouldn't go back.

But once you are inside it’s relatively safe and clean and the bed and sheets are clean. It’s ok for a night or two max. The website price doesn’t match the real price: there’s a $20 up charge for facilities and a $6 parking fee-and taxes- so the cheapest room is about $105.00. The management isn’t very helpful so don’t expect much. It’s basically a Motel 6 near the airport and Coliseum.

There was no closet in which to hang or store things. There was also no in-room coffee, and we were not sure if any coffee was available on the premises. This motel is located in a bad part of town, with homeless camps and graffiti and abundance. The motel itself is fenced off, so we felt relatively safe. Nonetheless, we will probably not stay here again and pay more for a better location.

I like to make my choices informed, and this hotel charges the customers a 20 dollars service Fee? really? we have to pay the check in? and besides that the charge a 6 dollars parking fee? it would be a more honest business practice to increase their rates with both fees included, so customers know exactly how much they will pay to stay in this hotel, sorry but that looked like a scam to me. one you booked it you can't do anything.

I mean it was “alright” noisy throughout the entire night with lots of “suspicious” activities. Room was fairly clean few stains on sheets floors little dirty but everything can’t be perfect.

They are over worried and erred about me not paying for my tenants’ temporary 20 day stay. Twice threatened them with lock-out or forced-out. I guess it’s due to the declining area that draws some dishonest quests.

We just needed a place to sleep on a busy holiday weekend. It worked. The room was fine. Im not sure about the neighborhood. Looked sketchy. Sirens and freeway noise all night.

Nice hotel, bad neighborhood. Wasn’t aware that I had to pay for parking until I arrived, no toilet paper in the room. Definitely need thicker blankets, shouldn’t have to ask for one. Staff was great though.

You definitely get what you pay for here. Pros: price, distance to Coliseum/BART/Airport, street food nearby. Cons: old infrastructure, safety outside of hotel. Really isn’t the hotels fault, but Oakland is super unsafe. I grew up in a dangerous part of LA, but even I felt a little uneasy at times. Plenty of fans walked back at night, so felt fine. There are tons of great street food options during the day. I get the sense that drug dealers were using the property, but they didn’t bother me & I didn’t bother them. Mind your business and you should be fine. Place was clean, but it’s an old building. Considering the state of Oakland right now, can’t say I blame the owner for not investing more $$ into it.
