The rooms were in terrible condition it looks like the place needs a deep clean. There was broken furniture and the pictures did not match the advertised photos. Staff was nice.

No wifi but it was clean and safe

Chked in to a dirty room. Had to get a new one. Questionable atmosphere outside.

My stay was one nite at a 4th rate motel environment in a 3rate area. I will avoid being deceived by deceptive pictures on yours or any website in the future.

The room provided the basic needs.

Maybe I just had bad luck but the non smoking room I booked REEKED of smoke and all my clothes I have to wash the smell out. Very kind staff though

Room was very dated/old from the bathroom, bedding to the lighting, despite some of the photos presented that it was updated. New wood laminate however it was not level, as you couldn't open the bathroom door fully without it getting stopped by the floor. Lights switches in random places. No outlet in the bathroom, smoke detector removed from ceiling and no coffee machine. Poor water pressure in the shower as well as some mold. The bathroom door itself was damaged and the door handle had no door jam latch, just the knob. Also unsure where the daily, INCLUDED and ADVERTISED, continental breakfast was supposed to be because the check-in office was extremely small. It was a place to stay however and served its original purpose. We left a day early as it wasn't worth spending the additional evening there. Staff was very kind and polite!

No housekeeping was done in my 4 days there but that was not a point that would stop me from staying there on my next visit. Fresh coffee and danish were available every morning in the lobby and all of the staff were very friendly. Television didnt work well and I reported it but it didn’t get fixed. Again, despite those minor inconveniences, I will definitely stay there again. Food choices were great and within a short walking distance.

Room room was not clean. The bathroom area was very moldy and the showerhead was leaking. There was a hole in the wall. Bathroom door was broken Heating & cooling unit was very dirty and broken. I felt like I was in the ghetto.

Don’t let the motel style fool you. Comfy bed, excellent tv service, great water pressure for the shower. It’s as good as any Holiday Inn but cheaper

The room we had was nasty the floors were filthy and sticky the bed was so uncomfortable the tub was filthy I will NEVER stay there again!

I like the customer service the staff is very friendly very pleased with the room. Also liked the fact that there are rooms for smoking and non smoking.

Slow internet. But for the price paid it was a good value.

The Room was disgusting and it had a stinch, I had to buy candles to freshen up the smell, The curtains were thrift store ish and the walls were filty and the bathroom was gross, The staff in the office were Nice.

It needs to be upgraded

It needs a little more upgrading, one pic by the bed fell off hanging, the shower area was leaking. But it is clean.

Room stank of cigarettes even after service with stains on bedding.

Room was clean and checkin fairly easy. Tub filled slowly and some jets disfunctional. Wifi inconsistent.

My room was in serious need of maintenance upgrades like paint, fixtures, etc

Maid service had to be ordered. No service daily. Lights in the sink area needed to be changed.

They moged us and the 2nd room was doety. The bottom of.my so ks were black after walking around the room. Not worth the price.

Not located in a great part of town. Our fire alarm had a low battery and versus offering to bring/collect a new battery, we were advised to unplug it...

The I ask the change room and the other room was ok

Inexpensive. Good A/C. Old bedspread. Cheap small pillows.No toilet seat cover. No shampoo.Nice small refrigerator and microwave. No safe. Terrible free coffee.Clean neat parking lot. Pleasant office personnel. Small bath towels are size of hand towels, but did the job drying me.

The service and staff was awesome and i would recommend all my family and friends to stay at Midway Inn.

I was charged twice for a reservation they didn’t even upheld and no one will answer my emails or phone calls regarding the manner. Why bother making a reservation through expedia if they won’t even have it in the system.

The staff members are extremely helpful and friendly. but the floor was dirty and the bathroom - especially the bathroom walls need proper cleaning

The rooms were dated and dingy looking. The room didn't have a iron nor ironing board.

This place was an ok stay if you’re just looking for a place to stay for the night. Room was clean.

I didn't like anything regarding the room or property.

Would never stay again. Staff very friendly but the room was filthy to the point we wouldn't use the shower. Duct tape and smeared things all over the walls. Carpet was disgusting, had to wear shoes entire time. Soiled black and sticky. No outlets in bathroom or around any mirrors. Had to unplug microwave to use flat irons. pillows were flat and needed thrown away. The blanket on the bed has prob never been washed and was covered in burn holes even though we were in a non smoking room. The parkinglot is nowhere near big enough for the rooms. If you come past around6pm there is no parking. Towels were stained and grey and if our room was not directly by the office we would have not stayed as the door to the room is not very secure, with old brass key entry. One light tap or something flat to stick in the door and you could be in the room in a matter of seconds. Nothing good to say about this place except the staff is amazing and they do keep the outside parkinglot area clean. just not the rooms......

The Smell

I hate that place I only slept good that was the only thing. I had to ask for new towels because the ones that was hanging up had private part hairs on them and the facr towels was dirty when I ask if they can bring me new ones he said I had to wait and never was brung to me get up in the morning different guy there he says u have to come get your own towels. They looked dirty also with a poop or blood stain that was still in it. The bed the bed , that blanket need to be thrown away with the stains on there. The guy up front had to switch my room 2 times. He sent me to a room with the lights off and the room door was cracked open he ask me if i looked in there I said no why would I and some one could have been waiting to do some to me, them the second room had a private heater like someone brung it from there room . I would never stay here again even if I'm homeless. This is the stay u get with what you paid for and the pictures on the website is a lie. I'm disappointed even with the tv not working i called up to the front desk he say plug the cord in the back of the tv and i used my cell phone because the phone in the room looks like it aint been touch in years. It don't even work.

Pretty good location, close to restaurants.

"guests" were loud at all hours of the day and night, the room smelled of cigarettes, there was something greasy on the toilet and the sheets had stains - no joke. the door lock was push button and not secure at all. I felt so uncomfortable that I left shortly after arrival and just started the next leg of my trip exhausted. there was NO way I could stay there or recommend this motel to anyone in good conscience

The beds run down. It smell like piss and mold . they have red and green carpet on the walls. And its dirty

The towels were rough and needed fabric softener. The sheets had stains on them. The room was pretty clean. There were dead mosquitos and other bugs on a couple of the walls.

There were roaches in the bathroom along with some else’s hair on the sink, on the towels and on the bed sheets as if they didn’t even wash them or clean up. They obviously didn’t sweep or mop or even wipe down the sink or change the bed sheets. Disgusting and I’m sorry to say but I personally will never ever stay in that hotel ever again.

when in chgo, ill area, i stay ....only.... at midway inn & suites. staff knows & welcomes me. perfect location, one public bus ride $2.00 from midway airport 6 miles to midway inn & suites, bus stop at corner. saving $$ on car rentals! rooms confortable, clean... love it all

this was a short trip for me, be back soon! love midway inn & suites, staff, room, location all super. i grab the bus from midway airport $2.25 a 20 min. drive to the inn & suites, bus stop at corner, restaurants all around. not a thing i would change.

I spoke to three members of staff and they were all divine. Very friendly. Could not have gotten better service but the room itself especially the bathroom is in serious need of updating. Looks like it hasn't been touched since the 70s. The staff was perfect though.

Had the dates wrong never made it and never got a refund

There was a bed and a pillow. This property is old and there were several holes in the door the blanket had several cigarette holes and the carpet was black and slick.

Everything is very old but the bed was comfortable. No bugs or other problems. No tea bags, only coffee. Free breakfast looked like plastic-packaged pastries that I didn’t look at closely. So, yeah, no frills but I got what I needed and under the same circumstances I would go there again.

For the price this room was fine. Very basic, nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. Checking in lady was very pleasant. Did not use the breakfast , not interested in a pastry or coffee with powdered creamer, but again for the price i didnt expect alot of extras.

It was a amazing stay.

It is overall just fine, basic needs met. It has a mini fridge and microwave which is nice. I don't like places where the room door leads directly outside, because it feels less safe and secure. Somehow I couldn't discern that from the photos, which is honestly on me, but just be warned that this is that type of accommodation. My room had a pungent stale smell when I first arrived, so bothersome that I ultimately opened the window to air it out, even though it was below freezing outside.

Was a fine place to stay. The facilities were older but in line with the price and they were accommodating.
