This is a place for goons who were banging on doors and shouting outside other people’s doors between 2–4 AM at night. Be careful. The staff did nothing and were not even picking up the phone.

My room was clean and comfortable. I loved that it had a refrigerator, plenty of outlets for my electronic devices, and access to Netflix so I could relax and watch a couple of shows. They also had room service, so I was able to order snacks and food right to my room. Honestly, I think this might be my new go-to spot for staycations from now on! The mall is right across the street!

After looking for WEEKS for a hotel, we decided on this one & we didn’t regret it. It was about a 30 minute drive to the United Center but worth it. It was in a nice area, it had shampoo and conditioner, free parking, & a Starbucks! The rooms were very clean and everyone was so friendly.

Clean room. The entire hotel smells wonderful The bathroom is tiny but the room is spacious. The chaise lounger in the room is a plus! We love Marriott’s and stay there anytime it’s available.

We love Marriott hotels the wonderful places to stay the sleep is always wonderful because of the bedding Unfortunately, because we went through booking.com we paid over $200 for our room and they put us up in a handicap room and unfortunately the room was not comfortable. The bed was not comfortable. Nothing was comfortable. The shower was oversized for a wheelchair accessibility it was just a very sad stay Being punished for going through booking.com. Couldn’t even get a regular room with the king size bed just pathetic.

The room cleanliness was okay. The drinking glasses in the room had fingerprints, so it made me hesitant a bit about the true cleanliness of the room, but from surface everything looked okay. We just cleaned the glasses ourselves to be in the safe side.

Was staying here for my wedding anniversary. Looked at a lot of places and thought I booked the two-room king. My mistake, I see that I booked the "junior king" suite. I'll own that. Room was right next to elevator but thankfully no elevator noise. This room was severely under lit, needs a floor lamp (which picture on website shows). Picture also shows a small table in front of the couch, which was not in our room. We were hoping to spend more time in the room than we did but honestly, this junior suite is basically just a regular room with a big open space in the middle of it. The entryway light (which is really bright at the entryway) is activated by switch and motion. A couple of times the first night, when I kicked the covers off, it activated the light, woke us up and you have to get up, go to the door and shut it off. It was a cold weekend in Chicago for our stay (not the fault of the hotel) but the windows were seriously glazed over with frost on the inside and then when the morning sun was shining on the window, the water melted and puddled across the floor. I can't imagine the floors lasting long if they subjected to puddling water. Nice to have a Starbucks on property, the bar looked nice. Motion activated doors leading to parking lot were broke overnight from Sat to Sun (worked when we checked in, when we left they were broke). The hotel must have had some bad luck.I'm generally pretty easy going but it was a bit of a "death by 1,000 slivers" experience.

Room was fine, but could definitely see some wear and tear (fire alarm box hanging off, scuffs, etc.). We paid for a king room and got 2 queens and were told “that’s what happens when you book through a third party.” What’s the point in booking a type of room if you aren’t going to get it? Very annoying.

Accommodations were clean and comfortable. However, we were given a handicap accessible room with a shower only. On Expedia we booked for a room with a tub. Also, the door to the room was jammed shut. Therefore, we were unable to open the door with the key card. When I explained this to the young lady who checked us in at the front desk, she was rather dismissive. She scanned the key card once more and told me to try again. Also, she instructed me on how to scan the key card and turn the door handle, which I found condescending. Naturally, this did not solve the issue. Finally, after I returned to the front desk for the third time a different young lady called for the Maintenance Engineer to investigate. Once he arrived at our room, it took him approximately 20 minutes to resolve our problem. We could get in and out of the room, but it still took a little bit of muscle to open the door. There appeared to be two large events going on during our check in, so it did not seem as though they were concerned about our comfort or inconvenience at all. Very disappointed in the customer service that we received.

The property itself is nice and with updated furnishings. Staff was courteous and professional. I am, however, very disappointed with the online booking as I expected a room with a separate seating area as pictured online. My room was an ordinary room with double beds and there was not even a bedside chair. I had paid more for this “club” room. I asked the front desk to at least provide me with another chair as my room mate and I did not want to only have the option of sitting on the beds. We never received the chair. Unfortunately, there was no electronic memory to confirm what type of room was reserved (was this an intentional bait and switch?). To make matters worse, at checkout the breakfast, which was supposed to be included, was billed to the room. Again, no electronic memory to support the fact that breakfast was supposed to be included.

Great hotel! Free parking! Great area! Mall is right across so makes it easy to get things when needed. Did have to ding it a little for the cleanliness. Our room was slightly dirty but there were conferences and events ongoing the day we stayed so i assumed they may have been rushed. However, overall great hotel would definitely recommend.

My only possible complaint is that restaurant and lounge don’t open until 3 pm, but that may be leftover from Covid. You can order room service from 6 am to 11 pm though. I always try to stay at a Marriott (or affiliated brand) hotel when I’m away from home. I am almost never disappointed.

We got bloody sheets I know the convention was going on I asked to change my room because it was at the end of the hallway. They had the stairs, which I felt like it was a safety issue for me, but they were didn’t change room room was musty mildew, and it was under construction.

Oakbrook shopping and food choices are wonderful. The hotel could use a face lift. The carpets are dated with multiple stains. Additionally, the plumbing backed up causing our floor to smell of sewage ( you know). The staff responded quickly to the concerns we put forth which made things much better overall.

Needs updated decorating. Shabby. Bathroom smelled. Very limited of items for sale. No room cleaning unless requested. Towels threadbare. Can’t get the cocktail you want from room service. You must take what they jam down your throat. Housekeeping overseer pushy and mouthy when I was 15 minutes late for check out after I had informed front desk. Threatened me with an extra charge. Breakfast buffet underwhelming. LOVED THE STARBUCKS

I felt this property needed an update, I was told by another guest that the hotel was upgrading and I did hear work going on Friday afternoon. I would not stay unless you booked an updated room. The bathroom was tiny, the furniture was outdated, and the decor was old. The staff was very nice at check-in, but as a Bonvoy member I would have thought I would have been given a better room.

Everything was amazing at this hotel. Check in was great, Justin was so polite!! Breakfast was really good and I had the M club access for appetizers and soda/water/coffee and it was wonderful. We were in the renovated rooms and they are beautiful. I don't know how many are finished being renovated but maybe ask for one when checking in. They are really nice.

I was fortunate to be in a remodeled room, but be aware, lots of noise from other floors during the daytime hours. Also, it's incredibly dark in the room - even the bathroom vanity is poorly lit. Putting on makeup is a nightmare. Also, quite cold in the room.
