Warning if you are bringing a pet. The actual pet policy is different than what is stated on Expedia’s website. They will charge you a $50 nonrefundable deposit for the pet and also $10 a night. They told me it doesn’t matter what is published in Expedia as the pet policy, they require the nonrefundable $50 plus $10 a night. Since I had paid for the room in full through Expedia in advance had I left I would have lost my room payment. Also the kitchen didn’t have any pots pans dishes, and the bathroom didn’t even have a paper cup.

I’d prefer not to leave a bad review but if it helps the next person, or helps the cleaners be more aware, that’s why I am.

It was clean and that is the most important thing. Staff was super kind lending me a blow dryer and a coffee pot. Would stay there again

Location No housekeeping service is provided during the stay, yet guests are left an envelope requesting a housekeeping tip. It is unreasonable to expect tips for a service that is not being performed.

Booked this hotel because it had a 2 bed option for a room. When we arrived, we were told that the hotel over booked 12 rooms. Only room available was a 1 bed room. After speaking with the front desk, they had to turn away 12 other people due to over booking. If we arrived later, they wouldn't have had a room available to give us despite booking this weeks in advance

Room was awesome. Staff was amazing.

This was the most unwelcoming and uncomfortable hotel that I have ever experienced. Lesson learned!

Reception - Sasha was very nice and helpful with beautiful smile. location - went pass hotel, up the mountain off highway and had to walk down the mountain to get to road to go store ect. No where to sit in hotel (no lobby), no ice machine. Price was to high to offer nothing. I would not stay here again.
-
No coffee maker in the room and coffee dispensers in the lobby empty throughout the morning

Place was not secure - construction had late night doors open. Made me feel unsafe as a single woman traveler.
-
Was not notified that hotel was under construction. Dusty and dirty - staff was less than amenable in trying to address issues
-
No breakfast due to construction, room changed for same reason (no charge upgrade). AC worked fine.
-
comfortable room temp; room was clean - fine for a night's stay

Check-in took 30 minutes. While waiting for our two rooms, they took another customer in and quickly checked them in. Construction was on going so we were trying to be patient, but when others checked in quickly we started to complain. The staff had trouble finding the manager Kiara and when she finally came back and we expressed our frustration she started raising her voice. It got heated and she told us to shut up, walked out of the office and continued to yell and tell us to stay elsewhere. Of course no refund was offered so that wasn’t an option. The room was adequate but we were only given one key and were told it was impossible to get another key when asked. Overall, we would have cancelled our second night if a refund was offered and went elsewhere. Very disappointing!!

No water, hair dryer, cups, utensils in the room No ice in the building

The entire property was a disaster. All the mouldings were removed, there was garbage, and plaster everywhere. I understand they were remodeling, but they didn't say that. They should have explained that up front.

The staff were very friendly and accomodating, especially given the circumstances. It was college graduation weekend and they were no doubt inundated with people who'd never stayed there before and probably wasn't their first choice, so when we all saw that the floors of the lobby under construction, the card key system down, etc ... patience wore thin quickly. But the staff stayed calm and helpful in the face of out of the ordinary circumstances. At $250 for the night, it's not like this was some side of the road motel. You can typically get any of several "regular" hotel rooms for that rate, when they're not being artificially jacked up for college graduation week. So it was a real disappointment first to learn that Extended Stays have no ice machines. You're expected to make your own ice in the fridge. I mean, I guess I understand that, after you explain it? Doesn't help you when you check in, of course. You'll need a few hours. Assuming your room has ice trays. But then there's a kitchen, but no kitchenware. At all. Not even a glass to rinse your mouth when you brush your teeth. You have to ask for all that stuff. And at a time when the staff is seriously overworked and you're told "we'll bring you some cups when we get a moment", you're kind of afraid to ask for plates or silverware. So you check into your room and ... no cold drinks, no silverware to enjoy your food, but you're still paying the same rates as a place that would have had those things. What they had no excuse for was the hair in the shower, which had not been adequately cleaned. To the staff's credit, they apologized for that and offered a discounted rate. But it was just one of many things that piled on to make for a memorable "Let's try never to stay here again" night. Extended Stay means precisely that - do not put this place on your "I only need it for a night how bad can it be" list.
