Convenient. Poor lighting.

We were really disappointed that there is no coffee in the room. There was a musty smell in the room. We had some trouble with signing into wifi....called the desk twice, no answer. The beds were comfortable enough. Location was good.

Except that one other guest was there when we came back from diner…and they put him in the room right next to ours! I don’t know how many rooms were in the building--16?…20?—so why put us side by side so we can hear each other talking through the walls? He got in an argument with somebody on the phone at 9:30 and then again at 11:30, waking us both times. With so many empty rooms, it just made no sense. And I wasn’t going to go throwing the hassle of changing rooms in the middle of the night. Again, it is quite clean though fairly bare bones. It’s a place to stay the night to catch your flight, but no more than that.

I have to say that the staff here go Out of their way to accommodate you and your requests. And I stay here everytime I come to Syracuse,on my last stay I dropped the remote cursor to my laptop without realizing it. I assumed I lost it somewhere else until my recent stay which was three weeks later. On my first morning there I went to get coffee off property, when I returned my room was cleaned and my laptop remote that I lost was sitting on the desk. I couldn’t believe they kept it for three weeks and knew who to return it to.This is the reason Red Carpet Inn is the only place I stay. They’re all amazing people!!! I have absolutely no complaints about the hotel whatsoever.Im always satisfied when I stay there.

Adequate - bathroom relatively clean - just a musty older place but I slept pretty well on the bed.

Perfectly acceptable

The hotel was condemned, wasn’t open. We found out when we got there.
- 1/5
The toilet seat was detached and the smoke alarm started to chirp in the morning.
- 1/5
Unfortunately, my flight was delayed and I was unable to make my stay
- 5/5
I stay here every time I’m in Syracuse because of the easy access to the interstate and convenient location to restaurants. The staff have always been very accommodating to any request that I make and are very friendly. There’s absolutely nothing that I can say that I didn’t like.

Gratefull for the honest reviews that lead me to book this facility. I appreciate the candor and found the place clean and pleasant.

The staff was outstanding ,very attentive and on top of your every need In Syracuse NY area there is lots of snow and the nice thing was they plowed and shoveled so it wasn't an issue for traveling people .They made me feel like family when I got the knock on the door asking guest to move cars so the plow guy could do a great job anything you need can be brought to your door in no time ..it's that centrally located to everything.. Every morning not to early I was created by the nicest front of house manager and was wondering if I needed anything The room was great large cathedral ceiling with beams ,king size bed with very comfortable mattress, writing desk, microwave and fridge sitting bench as well as a chair to curl up in to read a good book. Satellite TV with pay channels ..I had never stayed at a Red Carpet Inn and i was sceptical I booked 1 day but after that 1day I ended up staying 3 weeks the layout of the building ,the room the big walk in shower the place was great but after you add in the staff it was exceptional and this hotel too is under a great transformation and you can see it everywhere . It's very well kept kudos to all the staff and managers for doing what they do So if your in the Syracuse it's worth the extra few miles ..tell them Kevin sent you and you would like room 210

the location to the airport the room was very cold when we arrived, the temperature outside was in the teens and the heat in the room never got warm no matter how high we turned it up it was freezing

Yes but the room needs a better heat system it was cold and took all night to get warm.
- 5/5
Great deal. Clean place.
- 3/5
Room was old and hotel had good smell.
- 4/5
Was a nice clean place
- 3/5
However, cleanliness was a major concern throughout my stay. There was noticeable dirt and grime on several surfaces, which made the room feel neglected. The blankets had visible holes, and the lampshades were torn, which gave the impression that maintenance and housekeeping aren’t being prioritized. A few small repairs and a deep cleaning would make a big difference. The most uncomfortable part of my stay happened when I went to turn in my room key at checkout. Instead of being greeted by staff, someone yelled through the ring video doorbell that they were in the bathroom. Overall, I’d say this property has potential. It’s in a great spot, the parking and water pressure are excellent, and the room layout was very comfortable. But the cleanliness issues and lack of professionalism really bring down the experience.

I missed breakfast. The online photo does not do it justice. I was blown away when I say the property the first morning of my stay. Very clean.

- 4/5
Clean room and perfect for families.
- 4/5
Very close to SYR and rental return. Staff was extremely polite and helpful.
- 5/5
It’s a well-kept, and quiet place. Lots of parking spaces.
- 2/5
Arrived in Syracuse late in the evening so we didn't have many options. Place was ok, but traffic was right by our room and it was noisy all night. Room was worth $50-60 dollars but we had to pay $250 because it was a Saturday night. Would not recommend staying here.
- 4/5
Hotel was quiet, easy access to the highway. Clean, comfortable. It is a no frills hotel, but a good place to sleep. It is all one needs when there for a comfortable respite from travel or visiting a Syracuse Univ student.
- 1/5
Dirty
- 4/5
It was not bad. The only thing is that they don’t have water machine, so you had to buy in person and they charged small water bottle for $2.
- 1/5
This place was disgusting. I walked in and walked out. Horrible Expedia experience.
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable. The motel is in a well lit area right off of a main highway. The staff was polite and efficient.
- 5/5
This was perfect for a stopover, not too far from the airport.
- 4/5
The neighborhood isn't the greatest, but the building is clean, the service was excellent, and it was very reasonable. Not a lot of frills here, but it fit the bill for what we needed.
- 4/5
Clean
- 4/5
They're redoing it and it's very nice. We just had some noisy neighbors but the room and everything were very pleasant and everything's like they're remodeling it. It's all new. I enjoyed staying there
- 3/5
Okay
- 1/5
The room was extremely dated and felt neglected. The carpet throughout the building was heavily stained, which made the space feel unclean inside the room. The amenities were minimal at best. The bath towels were paper, thin and overall the quality was far below expectations. Unfortunately, this state did not provide the level of comfort, cleanliness or service we had hoped for I would not recommend this property unless significant updates and improvements are made.
- 3/5
The best part of the Red Carpet Inn was the price. Our general impression of the hotel was OK. The check-in was a bit odd, at a small window outside the actual office. The room was Ok and we found the bed to be comfortable, but one of the pillowcase was yellowed. Our son had a seconds room and thought the bed was too hard. In our room, two other minuses were a poor A/C and thin / rough towels. My wife was also concerned about the state of the carpet. Lastly, all the plugs in both rooms were loose. On the plus sides the staff was friendly and hepful.
- 5/5
Very comfortable, safe, and the owner made sure that any one on the property was there for business. I am in a wheelchair and he assisted me without taking a tip. Clean property and room. The bed and pillows felt like home.
- 4/5
Clean bed and bathroom
- 4/5
Clean bed and bathroom
- 3/5
Towels were old and flimsy. They could change it after charging $165 per night for such an old hotel.
- 5/5
The room is not what I expected. It was more than I expected very clean and spacious.
- 4/5
Very dated and smells like smoke. No chain lock in the room.
- 2/5
If you don’t need a shower then you’ll be fine. Otherwise, you’ll need to stay somewhere else.
- 2/5
Never again!
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable
- 4/5
Only received 1 key. Lost the 1 key eating dinner. They wanted to charge an additional $10 for the new key
- 4/5
Great price, and the rooms are perfectly fine. They got the stuff that really matters right: good AC, comfortable bed, and clean. It’s under final approach for one of the airport’s runways, so it can be noisy. But by the time we went to bed, the airport had stopped landing flights so it wasn’t actually a problem. As long as you’re not looking for a place to make you feel like a big shot, I think you’ll find it satisfactory.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
We needed a last minute place to stay while traveling across NY and this fit the bill. The room was clean and spacious. The clerk that checked us in at 11:45 pm was very kind and helpful. There is some road noise and you can hear airplanes departing the airport, but it wasn’t enough to disturb our sleep. We would definitely stay here again, especially considering the other budget hotels in the area seemed to be less than desirable according to reviews.
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was very polite and friendly.
- 4/5
Check in was easy and the property was close to the airport
- 5/5
I've come here quite a few times and had nothing but great experiences here we'll come back again
- 3/5
A bit noisy at night with loud cars speeding on the road. Room smelled musty. Older property.
- 3/5
The price was much too high for this location. We stayed during a very busy weekend so I know that is why the rate was much higher than normal. It is a very backcountry, no frills but clean accommodations. $278 per nigh was absurd but it was the most reasonably priced stay in the area. The wallpaper was peeling and the rusted toilet screws were unsightly. The bedding, bathroom, carpet and furnishings were clean though.
- 5/5
Bathroom light didn't work. No iron or ironing board
- 2/5
Negative: airport and road noise significant; furniture and carpet need deep cleaning; doors and locks flimsy. Suitable for an emergency but not comparable to name brand commendations. .
- 5/5
The check-in process was quick and easy. It was clean but you could hear cars and trucks on the main road going by. The bedding was very comfortable.
- 5/5
Very spacious clean room. Slept well!
- 5/5
Very quiet and convenient.
- 3/5
Room was pretty good, no complaints. Area not the most inviting to the eye
- 5/5
Price is good as we were only staying one night as airport is super close and we were flying out early the next morning.
- 3/5
Traffic. Busy Busy.
- 4/5
The room was large, clean and well maintained. We really appreciated the Mid century vibe that the building had. Our expectations were low considering how affordable the room was. We were pleasantly surprised.
- 2/5
The TV had no remote control. You could hear the tv from adjoining rooms crystal clear.
- 5/5
Very clean, beds very comfortable
- 5/5
Just an overall coziness feeling of it. Definitely recommend to anyone.
- 3/5
The sleeping room itself was spacious and clean. The hallways were not-lots of stains on the carpet. Good location near airport
- 1/5
Run down
- 5/5
Great staff, clean rooms, beds very comfortable
- 3/5
My stay at Red Carpet Inn North Syracuse was okay, but there were a few downsides. The room itself was decent, but the price felt a bit high—possibly due to my last-minute booking. There were no complimentary services like coffee or breakfast, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, I had to walk quite a distance to reach my room, and check-in took longer than expected since there was only one staff member, who arrived late during the check-in window. Overall, it was a fair stay, but there’s definitely room for improvement in service and convenience.
- 3/5
Decent place for the price. Distance to airport definite plus. Place was clean and check in was smooth.
- 4/5
We were in room 273, very separate from other rooms, and what bothered me was the entrance to the hallway was ajar and could not be shut. I felt unsafe.
- 5/5
Very close to airport. Hotel is dated but no issues at all. Clean room with a comfortable bed.
- 5/5
Nice & clean.
- 4/5
Got weird for a minute but all good no issue after
- 3/5
Great spot to stay for a quick sleep before a flight. Road noise from the highway out front was a little loud for me as i am a light sleeper. Also directly under the flight path for landing planes.. Nice clean room and inexpensive.
- 5/5
It was quiet
- 5/5
Was fine for what we needed. Good price compared to others in the area. Clean but very dated
- 5/5
Pretty good place for the price, the room was clean and there were good restaurants around.
- 4/5
Our overnight stay was very enjoyable although the traffic noise on our side of the property was disturbing. We did not have any interaction with staff other than at check in but they were friendly, courteous & efficient.
- 5/5
clean and spacious
- 4/5
For the price the place was clean. We just needed a place for the night. They also had a fridge and microwave which is nice if you need it.staff was nice and check in and out was easy.
- 4/5
We stayed at this hotel for a visit to Cornell. We arrived past midnight for check in and it was no problem. The room was clean and did not smell at all. We felt safe, and it is very close and convenient to the airport. It is perfect if you are just looking for a place to sleep, and don’t need anything else because you really will not be in the room otherwise. The only complaint was that the TV did not work.
- 1/5
The TV didn’t work and the bedside light would not turn off. No one came in to clean the room and they would not provide a cot when asked
- 4/5
I liked how clean the hotel was and the price. Definitely would stay again
- 3/5
Room was fine but too noisy to fall asleep.
- 4/5
Excellent value! Great comfort @ cleanliness! Thank you!
- 5/5
Nice place
- 4/5
The place was outdated but VERY clean and everything worked like it should. The woman at the front desk was very nice. I would stay here again.
- 4/5
seria bueno que los cuartos tubieran su microondas
- 1/5
Was yelled at by supervisor for noticing a black mold problem ...will be contacting state authorities
- 5/5
Nothing
- 3/5
The hallways to the rooms were SO hot, but the air conditioning in the room worked well. The decor is dated, but is in good condition. Our room was very musty smelling, but the room our friends were staying in was not. The linens were clean, and overall the entire room was cleaner than some high end hotels that I have stayed at. This location serviced it's purpose, and I would stay again. It doesn't have a bunch of "bells and whistles" so as long are you're coming for a sleep without crazy expectations you shouldn't be disappointed.
- 3/5
Very hard mattress
- 1/5
DIRTY HOTEL THEY HAVE HIDDEN CAMERAS BED BUGS IS STINK SO BAD SMELLY PILLOWS SWEATY BLANKETS BATHROOM SO SMALL NO SPACE AT ALL OVER ALL 0-10
- 4/5
This is not a 5 star, luxury stay. It's an airport motel. Knowing that going in, it's exactly what you need. Proximity and price are the pros. The staff are also good-fast and efficient. We pre-booked and it took 2 minutes to check in. We've stayed here twice, once on a night before a red-eye flight and once as a last minute replacement for a cancelled reservation for the NY State Fair. You will have airport noise and vehicle noise. We always bring a white noise machine, so that is minimized. The mattresses are surprisingly comfy. Pillows are crap. Cleanliness is average for this type of place. Some stains, some carpet stickiness. It's not where you want to go for a vacation or long stay. It's a one-night, necessity stay-but it's perfect for that. If we are in a similar situation in Syracuse again, we'll pick this.
- 4/5
Convenient to airport (but added a bit of noise) Will stay there again
- 4/5
Nice place. I'd stay again
- 4/5
Easy stop...
- 5/5
This was an inexpensive no-frills hotel. No breakfast is to be had here. The room was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again,
- 1/5
They watched you on camera all the time. Always watching you. Had out truck towed thinking it was abandon Over charges us for everything. Gave us a hard time about our service dog and charged us for the dog.
- 4/5
TV did not work.
- 3/5
It is a decent enough hotel. Nothing especially good or bad. Price seems good for the area. It might be a little bit of an issue to exit the street to the left so soon after getting off the ramp. Again, the room was nice and the price was right!
- 5/5
excellent
- 5/5
Staff was nice. I felt safe. The room was clean. It's nothing fancy, but I didn't expect anything much for the price. Only suggestion would be to at least add a coffee maker. If not also a microwave. The refrigerator was an awesome thing to have though.
- 4/5
we like to stay at this hotel during syracuse nationals because it's convenient and away from the fairgrounds. the rooms are clean and ready when we arrive
- 3/5
It reasonably priced
- 4/5
Very nice for an overnight near the airport.
- 5/5
For a motel it was a great little place.
- 4/5
Convenient to Airport
- 4/5
We just stayed one. It was nice for one night. The hotel is set up a little different because there is three different building with room in all the buildings. Our room was out dated but it was nice and clean.
- 3/5
Inconvenient reception area. Small bathroom with no shampoos and body wash.
- 3/5
Property is very basic, good for a night. However, it's right next to the highway and you could hear the cars driving by at all hours of the night. Didn;t sleep well due to this issue.
- 5/5
Close to the airport, very clean.
- 3/5
When I arrived the place looked deserted and frankly probably should be. There was a Ring doorbell camera on a locked office to summon the sole employee. This was the first and last time I saw anyone. Apparently there is no cleaning staff on the weekends. There also are no phones in the room so you could not cotact anyone anyway.. At night route 11 turns in to your own ringsideseat to a drag strip. Not to worry. The races ended around 1 am on Saturday and around 2 am on Sunday. By then you should be able to fall asleep on the Sealy mattress purchased during the Carter administration. Next time faced with this option I will just sleep in the rental car.it

- 2/5
Room smells like someone smokes in there.
- 2/5
Room was right next to 4-lane highway with loud motorcycles revving by all night. Unable to schedule wakeup call or otherwise contact office because in-room phone was dead. Lens on one of the room sconces was missing. However, towels and bed linens were beautifully clean, although odorous room carpet was much in need of cleaning. Check-in staff very courteous.
- 5/5
This was a last minute choice . It turned out the rooms were really very comfortable. The fact that there was a decent size Fridge was a huge plus. The beds were really comfortable and we had a very comfortable sleep. There was very little noise. The rooms are simple and clearly it worked out great for a short one night stay. I would go there again
- 1/5
Lack of amenities. My room had a unpleasant smell. I later in my stay noticed that the bed sheetshad menstrual stain on them.
- 5/5
Very clean and friendly service.
- 5/5
Clean and very good neighborhood
