It was dirty. It said a heated pool. The pool was not heated. You couldn’t even walk around the hotel room without your shoes on because literally your feet would turn black. It was gross inside the room.
- 2/5
Right from the 3:00 pm check in point, the whole trip was a disaster. First no one is at the desk, you have to ring a bell and wait, then we were told our room wasn't ready, it would be another half hour, then there was no cart to bring our baggage in because there was only one and apparently someone had it in there room. When we got to our suite, the floors were dirty, the sofa bed had no mattress so was impossible to even sit on and when we started to pull it out, the dirt under the sofa had been collecting for at least 6 months to a year. The furniture was stained, there was no coffee maker without asking, one pillow had no pillow case, and none of the workers could answer a simple question without consulting someone else, although they were courteous. There's no information anywhere at the hotel to suggest area restaurants, so make sure you know where to go eat before you get there, and the hotel is very limited in selection of their "hot breakfast included". I definitely will not recommend this place to any family or my friends.

location was not visible from the main streets

It was ok location and price decent but not clean loved the room layout but did not like the hair everywhere glad it was only to sleep during traveling
- 4/5
Excellant parking.
- 5/5
The property and parking lot were decent, i parked within window view of my assigned room. The first room i was given the ac was inoperable, thay was remedied by goijg back to the desk and getting another room. The room i was given was the best of the 4 hotels i staued at during a 5 day stay, clean, smelled good, BIG, hallways after hours were quiet as well. I will stay there again.

Room wasn't clean had hole in bathroom door and shower curtain was broken. Not enough towels.
- 1/5
Did a 4 night stay for a fishing trip so our hotel needs and expectations were minimal, yet they still managed to disappoint. Bathrooms need remodeling to remove mold, no housekeeping or kitchen staff so only staff was front desk staff of one person. Breakfast was cold and coffee was water. They were out of several breakfast items on the 1st and last day and food was in the buffet servers without heat. Had to go to front desk to get towels every evening and they ran out on the last evening. Outside trash cans were overflowing the entire time. It seemed like the doors were open but management and hospitality service were not present. Plenty of other decent hotel options in the immediate area for anyone visiting. Consider this one as a last resort only.

After waiting a few minutes for anyone to appear at the front desk to check-in, I rng their bell and 2 people popped out from behind the wall. We had booked for 4 people in our room and had 2 bath towels. It seemed like there was a place for hairdryer, but it was missing. When I was asking the Front Desk for more towels, I also asked about the hair dryer (not a big deal for some, but I have long hair to my lower back. I really didn't want to go to bed with soaking wet hair, after checking in at nearly 9pm. The gentleman said some rooms don't have hair dryers or are missing them and he could check but if our room doesn't have one, there's not much he can do. Great, thanks....The shower...gross...it looked like there was mold on the corner shelves and on the vertical seams of the back wall. The toilet was loose....from the floor-it hit the wall when standing up. When we checked out at 6am, I had to ring the bell again and wait for someone to appear. The gentleman asked for our room number, said you're all set....no how was your stay, nothing.

It’s nice place clean rooms, friendly staff, only needs some upgrades.
- 4/5
It’s an awesome place, clean rooms and highly professional staff and service, only thing that the property needs some remodeling and upgrades. Price wise it’s perfect.
- 5/5
Easy access to the highway. Close to a restaurant and clean. We travel with a pet so being able to have a clean place to stay is key. Only one elevator

The shower faucet came off when I tried to use it. The staff was helpful and sent a repairman quickly, and gave me another room easily.
- 2/5
Had to wait 30 minutes around midnight when I got in before anyone came to the front desk... and that was after calling them upwards to 20 times while standing in the lobby. I witnessed this happening to more guests as well. No slip prevention mats I've the tub/showers. No microwaves. No coffee makers. Rooms were very drab / colorless.

In general all was ok.

If the bed didn’t make my back hurt worse it would be a higher rating. Hard and stiff bed made my back horrible, surgery 8 months ago. Sitting and watching tv hurt my back. The pool was painfully cold, I only got in waist deep. The breakfast was great, and it was very pretty inside with nice art on walls. Two days there killed my back, uncomfortable furniture…. Great tv

Average hotel, it was clean and front desk people were amazing. Centrally located. Downfall which is why it’s a 1 star, went to work- came back and housekeeping cleaned my room and threw everything out clothes, medications, cosmetics ALL of my personal belongings. House keeping admitted to them they did throw half of it out but not the rest. Hotel manager said they would view the footage and call me with resolution, no phone call at all. I was giving them a chance before I did a review. No refund or anything. Our company uses this hotel a lot for business and will no longer due to these issues
- 3/5
The breakfast was not good. We got there an hour before it was closed and everything was gone. The coffee was gone and the next morning the coffee was nasty.

It was great

Booking.com totally took advantage of the Syracuse college graduation and over charged me for a hotel nowhere near what I should have paid. The hotel was dirty. I booked 3 rooms and all were dusty. The sofa bed in each room was covered in stains. We never sat down on it. The safety lock was broken. The hotel was recently a “Comfort Suites” and it must have been purchased by a company that had no intention to remodel or update it. I will never stay there again and I will never use Booking.com. I was charged 3,000.00 for 3 rooms for 4 nights. It was a $100 a night max. I can go on for pages, but it wont change the overpriced fee or make the room any cleaner. Give me a discount on that disgusting room.

Dusty room, looked like it wasn’t used or cleaned in a while. Doors on outside perimeters were unsecured. Staff were nice. Small pool and gym area.
- 3/5
The staff were kind and helpful. I left something in the room and didn’t realize till we checked out. They were quick to help me get my forgotten items. The breakfast was all carbs and left something to be desired. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again, it wasn’t worth the price we paid.

The staff was very kind. After I checked out, I realized I left my Beats headphones in the room. I called and a staff member went to the room to locate my headphones. They kept it on a safe place until I was able to retrieve it.

The hotel was terrible dirty! A lot of dirty spots on the cough and we had a suite! We asked to the front desk to change the room because it was so dirty and he said it was not possible he had no more room. The floor was so dirty that our white socks were grew after one hour; you should not sell this hotel , final point. We ask a refund ; we will no more go to this very bad hotel. We will contact you , we have pictures to submit to you. Hairs were on the chair! You want more? We have videos for you! Jean Renaud

Appreciated having a buffet breakfast included in the price
- 1/5
Breakfast was terrible, no coffee, juices, rotten bananas. Pancake maker was dirty. Room had no shower curtains. We arrived too late to complain. Bathrooms were moldy. Paid over $200usd! If we would have known, would have slept in the car.
- 5/5
Property is dirty and unkempt. Hallways and elevator floors were dirty. Stains on furniture in room and in common areas. Mattress needs replacing. Furniture is worn and needs replacing. I do not recommend staying at this hotel.
- 4/5
Good fisrt... staff was great and mostly kind. Beds are quite conformable! Affordavle and convienient. Small indoor pool for off season swimming was nice as well. I didnt eat breakfast but it smelled amazing and was available til 10 am. Easy quick checkins both stays. Now, the Bad...Workout room has 3 machines and a weight station. Only the weight station is usable the machine do not work. . Kids allowed to run through halls well after 11 pm. White sheets stained. My pillow case had a shoe print on it and other pillowcases had brown stains. Couches (I stayed in 2 rooms) both had Giant brown nasty stains covering half the couch. Black mold in corners on showers so gross. Room not swept, and dust covering the wooden shells in bathroom. NO COFFEE POT! Had to get room key replaced twice as it stopped working many time, also another guest doing the same thing. Employee said its been happening to many people everyday though they are new keys

Breakfast was good and parking was safe

We were traveling with a group, and multiple rooms had the same issues, so requesting another room did not seem like a viable solution. Due to the overall condition, we requested a refund and left the property. I would not recommend staying here until significant improvements are made to housekeeping and cleanliness.
- 3/5
We had no toilet paper when we arrived. No hot water, no towels.
- 1/5
Room was missing and had broken stuff all over. Couldn’t reach a staff member for over 15 minutes to check in.
- 1/5
Dirty
- 1/5
to be fumigated. I squashed the bug left it onon a tissue next to bed and took a photo of it. There were piles of sheets and dirty laundry carts blocking the hallway on the third floor. I DID NOT sleep well because of noise in hallway. People were running up and down hallway banging on doors. Clearly there are deficits to overcome.
- 1/5
Do not recommend; they should not charge as much for the rooms. And, if you do decide to book, be sure not to stay in room 212. The pulled out was broken (and staff knew this when it was assigned to us) and it is right across the ice machine.
- 1/5
The room was filthy. Everything from pretzel pieces on the floor to dust on every surface, mold on the shower curtain. The bed sheets felt grainy inside. Huge smears on the floor and the tv. It was too late. I drove too far to head home. Finished my stay. Hotel is not as advertised. It has a new name, The Cicero Hotel- surprise! Breakfast at 7:45 had 3 bagels in the case, 3 muffins( pre-packaged and hard) and they were out of coffee. There were other selections but I was just done. No one at the desk. I dropped my keys and left. Also, hotel was very loud.

We enjoyed our mini getawat
- 2/5
Room not properly cleaned. Lobby/sitting area had garbage all over the floor. Drug activity in the2nd floor hallway. The desk wouldnt take my chime card for incidentals but allowed guest in front of me to tell them a card number without the physical card. Had to leave about 2 hours after checking in for an emergency and the hotel staff stated the manager would refund and i just had to contact expedia for it and expedia tried multiple times to get ahold of the staff and couldnt. Super sketchy hotel staff.
- 3/5
Overall I enjoyed my stay. The biggest issue is there seemed to be only three staff members
- 5/5
Spacious room & good breakfast! Also the tv has youtube.
- 4/5
Parking is good, motel is in a very convenient place,
- 1/5
Horrible, the bedding was filthy, zero towels available, none in our room or for the pool. We had to order some from Wal mart. There was on staff member at check in who was doing everything he was amazing and I felt so bad for him! The next morning there was nothing for breakfast, it was all empty at 8:15, there were no plates the staff member had to door dash some. There was dog poop in the lobby laying in a pile off junk that wasn’t here the whole time. The pool water was absolutly disgusting!! The staff however was amazing and tried their best! I would of walked out
- 1/5
This was the 2nd and last time I will stay here. A year ago I was checked into an occupied room. This time I was checked into a dirty room. I don't understand how this is even possible. I will be staying at the Holiday Inn next door in the future.
- 4/5
Pool could have been cleaner
- 1/5
Gave me sheets to cover it. Also never received my security deposit.
- 3/5
The staff were friendly, breakfast poor , cleanliness ok . But served our purpose but also very busy time with all the sporting events going on . They were booked. Arrived to no towels and condiments in room . Coffee situation was poor. For the amount that is charged poor but okay for the purpose.
- 1/5
Hi well this place was not as described! Pool was closed due to renovations ( so ok but should of been posted ) no luggage cart staff said it was stolen a while ago! We don't usually complain BUT morning breakfast ..no dairy we asked for milk for coffee ..staff said truck didn't show up, no cereal, fruit sorry but maybe staff should of said was under renos as well!
- 2/5
Robin was AMAZING and a very warm hearted, happy professional person. She helped me with any questions I had always with a smile. The hotel looks much better on line than in person.
- 5/5
The staff is so friendly and accommodating. We t above and beyond to help during our extended stay while waiting for our home ..made the situation so much easier
- 3/5
The biggest problem was that most of the towels and linens had hair on them of some sort. Hair that was not mine. The towels in the bathroom were still wet from the laundry service. The shower barely worked. What saved the stay was the morning staff that I had. She was very sweet and caring.
- 3/5
I increased the temp settings but it continued to blow cold air. I will say the blower motor/fan works very well , it was very powerful. This happened on my second night there. I had only intended to stay 1 night but I was not feeling well, I booked an additional night online called the front desk to let them know I had payed online. The lady who answered wanted me to come down and pay the deposit for the second night. I told her I would when I got up, (checkout is 11am I had time to go back to sleep) I knew I was not feeling well , but I truly did not expect to sleep until 4pm. I showered and went to lobby to pay the additional deposit around 5pm. It was around 11pm the heater malfunctioned. After being sick all day

First of all felt really discriminated against when I walked in 2/13/26, booked a handicapped room due to most hotels having high tubs and with me having issues getting in those I booked a walk in shower, get there to check in and the lady begging desk looked up my reservation and excused herself so she could call someone due to me booking a room with a walk in shower “I didn’t need it” according to her. You pay $150-$250 for nothing ALONG with a $100 upon check in. No phone in the room, had an issue getting an extra blanket because 1 blanket can be used for 1 bed and a pull out somehow. The elastic on the sheets were so worn they didn’t stay on, had to keep fixing it every single morning. No shampoo/conditioner or even body wash and every hotel I have been to has something incase you forget your things. Bring hangers if you want to hang anything up in the closet. Don’t even get me started on the dirty floors. Absolutely disgusting. Does’t even look like the mirrors were cleaned. Pool is so green you can’t see the bottom. No coffee maker in the room BUT a whole closet full of them. The “hot water” in the lobby area is colder than the outside. You don’t actually check-out you throw the cards in a little bucket. Breakfast is come early you come late everything is either gone or cold. Juice at room temperature no milk eggs runny and sausage looked and tasted like it was microwaved for 5 mins. Only good thing about breakfast was the bagel. absolutely sucked, never coming here!!
- 1/5
Front desk staff were rude. The pool had a green tint to it and had too much chlorine. The room was covered in mystery stains and the light by the bed was not working. My son took a shower and 5 minutes later the bathroom was flooded. Breakfast was a joke, off brand cereal and mystery juice in carafes. The characters at breakfast looked like they were homeless put up by social services. Really disappointing for the price.
- 3/5
No paid parking for a week only if you buy the expensive park and fly option
- 5/5
the room is nice, the staff is friendly
- 5/5
Clean, quiet
- 5/5
Room and service were great
- 5/5
Check-in was easy
- 1/5
We booked a room with 2 beds and a pullout couch. They refused to give us bedding for the pullout couch. The pool was very dirty looking. When I asked for extra towels the front desk questioned me about needing them. (There were only two towels in the room for four people) I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
- 2/5
The pool was closed. The room wasn’t very clean. There was a used bandaid under a table and nail clippings in the bathroom. There were 6 of us and they provided 2 bath towels, washcloths or hand towels.
- 3/5
Heat didn’t work told staff she said turn off n back on that it was a problem with last people to did that n it still didn’t work tried to call her at front desk n go to front desk but she didn’t answer we were stuck in a room without any heat.
- 3/5
My first day , the staff was super friendly, welcoming & helpful! The second day not so much… Did not try & accommodate my needs
- 2/5
One of the rooms hadn’t been cleaned so we had to get another. I paid for 2 queen beds with a pull out couch. The beds were actually full beds and the couch was broken. The pool was a cloudy, slightly greenish color and the “gym” was 3 pieces of cardio equipment. I’m glad it was so inexpensive. You get what you pay for.

Did not like the hotel at all.
- 3/5
Room was blowing cold air when it was 15 degrees outside. We requested for the room to be serviced, as their new policy stated they wouldn’t service if you stay greater than a day unless you requested it, and it never got serviced. The internet didn’t work, ice machines were broken, pool was out of service. Was a disappointment.
- 2/5
No pool. I booked it because of the pool. There is in fact no pool. Most other amenities were also non existent.
- 4/5
Good service
- 1/5
We booked specifically because they listed a pool as one of their amenities, but when we arrived it was shut down (and didn't look like it had been opened in awhile). They would not refund our stay so we could go elsewhere, or otherwise provide any compensation. Then the rooms were a debacle - the first room had a door that did not lock, you could just push it open with no key. That room AND the room we were moved to had no sheets for the pullout bed and none available - we had to wait to put our kids to bed until she had washed a load of laundry (It was 10pm). They weren't able to give us pillows for the pull out (what??), but gave us *one* when pushed (I have two kids). The pullout was broken on the bottom corner, but thankfully my kids are little and could just huddle near the top. Many things were broken in the room (the shower wouldn't fully run) and the breakfast was missing key items (toast but no butter, bagels but no cream cheese, waffle machine broken, no drinking water available, etc.). It was very cheap, but a rough stay - you get what you pay for!
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. Staff is wonderful.
- 1/5
Pool was unable to be used, which was probably for the best because it was green. We would not have chosen to stay here had we known. We had 8 very sad children. The rooms were not clean. Sticky floors and dirty walls. The wall locks for the doors were all busted. Not enough bedding or towels for our suit with a pull out sofa. Just an over all bad experience!
- 4/5
Clean, nice facilities. Good breakfast options. Just be aware it’s not really a full service hotel.
- 3/5
And a young Indian woman said I had to pay a 100 deposit I couldn’t understand for what but I pd for it and never received it back !! I’m still waiting
- 5/5
The room was great. The staff was very friendly.
- 2/5
shower not so good
- 2/5
My keys would not work until the receptionist came up and opened the door. The TV was not connected to any HDMI cable, therefore did not work. The bathtub did not drain at all. My husband took a shower after me and the tub was 75% full. Breakfast was not fully stocked as the waffle mixture was not available.
- 2/5
Cicero Grand was not grand at all. Hotel is in the process of rebranding as a Marriott. Would not recommend anyone stay til after Marriott takes over. Multiple issues- key cards needed to be reactivated almost every day. Not enough towels stocked; had to ask for extra. Towels were very small and thin. Pullout bed was horrible; kept falling apart. No linens for it; had to ask. No housekeeping service during 9 day stay. Towel rack in bathroom falling off wall. Staff were doing the best they could, but clearly management has given up on this property.
- 1/5
I found dog’s hair in my bed!!!!!!
- 1/5
The staff was really rude and not accommodating whatsoever. The rooms were stained and dingy. Bed had stains couch tethered. I came down to get a cup of coffee at 10 am it was cold she refused to make a fresh pot. The whole hotel it’s self look like it needs a new owner the rate was $76 looks like a shelter for free!
- 2/5
The hotel did not feel clean. There was not enough staff. No blow dryer in the room. My room key stopped working 3 different time and I had to wait for someone to appear at the front desk every time. More than one ice machine was out and the pool was closed. Rooms had almost no sound proofing and I could hear everything in every room.
- 1/5
I booked a suite and when I went to the room it was dirty. There were clumps of hair and debris on the floor and chair. There was no power cord for the TV. I walked around and several doors were not secure from the outside, the fire extinguishers had not had monthly inspections, they made me sign a waiver stating that they were not responsible for any injuries occurred on the grounds. I asked if they had insurance and they didn’t even know. I did not feel safe so I asked what they would do. The girl at the front desk left and didn’t return so I went to my vehicle and contacted Hotels.com, they could not resolve the issue and I was leaving when the girl showed back up with someone else. I went back in and they stated they would issue a refund in the morning because they couldn’t do it with the staff at the time. They have now refused to issue a refund and Hotels.com has not done anything about it. I will never stay at that hotel and I will limit my booking with Hotels.com because they have allowed a hotel with such poor standards to be on their site.

Great
- 3/5
Television channels of interest were very limited.
- 1/5
The room smelled like pot. The smoke detector was covered by a bag. The coffee maker smelled like it had never been cleaned. The tub was disgusting. The hallway had a random dirty sock, hairballs, dirt everywhere. The walls need to cleaned with a preasure washer. Outlets didnt all work in the room and the wall paint/paper was coming off the walls.
- 1/5
The check in was terrible, they kept us waiting at least 20 minutes. The room was horrible: it was dirty and there was mold in the shower. The beds had stains on them. We checked back out within a half hour.
- 4/5
Had to wait for check in
- 2/5
No one around.
- 3/5
Our room floor was sticky and the juice ran out
- 1/5
The room was not cleaned well at all. The floor felt gross, the bathroom definitely not touched. The bedding looked and smelled clean. The breakfast was not much of a breakfast. No coffee, barely any juice. Very limited seating space for a family hotel. Waffle machine wasn’t filled until we asked. The hotel had many guest. Other guest also voiced their opinions of unhappiness and dissatisfaction with the place. The pool is ice water, not blue or green water and is the size is a little bigger then a hot tub size, 2-3 kids and it was full. Again the whole place was dirty, the lobby was the only clean area. The lights in the room worked when they wanted too. The room was either a sauna hot or an ice box, the thermostat was up high and hard to read and adjust for a normal size adult. We saw fleas out in the lobby area when we sat for breakfast on our last morning but didn’t see any in the room. We don’t see anyone with any pets at all.
- 2/5
Pool was out of order. Gym had couple of machines and most of them out of order.
- 1/5
Housekeeping came in my room took my things. Put all my clothing and items in too bags even though i was sraying another night.
- 4/5
The room provided a desk but no chair. The internet was not working in my room, but they have a very comfortable lobby area that I was able to get my work done in. The staff tried to help me and where very polite.
- 3/5
The room was big. Nothing nice but also not bad especially for the price. The indoor pool was very small and cold

This place was horrible. No fresh cooked breakfast. Pacjaged items looked like they were months old. Pool was closed for lack of chemicals . Do NOT stay here.
- 1/5
Room very dirty, outdated furniture bed was terrible, limited staff, all common areas dirty, bathrooms disgusting
- 2/5
Seems like more staff is needed to run this hotel, computer technology for check-in/check-out was so slow. Business center was out of order too. Front desk was not equipped to handle as many guests, always a wait to get help.
- 1/5
Adequate parking. From there it goes down hill. Funny smell in corridors, door not able to shut into our room. Cleanliness of bed sheets. Lack of breakfast and coffee available.
- 4/5
This place appears to be a chain hotel that's recently rebranded. Nice lobby. Room was spacious & clean. Everything worked. However there were signs of neglect. The couch in our room was dilapidated. What may have once been graffiti was now an area of the bathroom door sanded to the core. Even the inside elevator doors were scratched up. All these things would be addressed more competently by a guest-focused management...they reflect poorly on the place.
- 1/5
I will never stay at this hotel again , we got our room it was never cleaned from the previous guest, the pull out sofa bed had no bedding and the mattress was stained, it broke while my son was on it. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL
- 3/5
The place was fine.
- 3/5
Clean room ..
- 4/5
We checked it was after midnight. The front desk clerk was helpful and accomodating. In fact, the room she gave us had not been cleaned snd prepared for new occupants. The front desk clerk was apologetic and quickly found another room for us. Breakfast was as expected. It was good but nothing special.was
- 3/5
Safe area with friendly staff. Budget friendly
- 4/5
The staff was incredible and helpful. So kind. My room had no towels or toiletries. Got them from front desk. The locl on my room was broken i got locked out. You could tell my room and the rrom next to mine had broken locks and hed to be broken into prior to my stay as the wood all around the locks are smashed and broken. They couldnt fix the locknon my room but put meninto anither room that was perfect. Clean comfy hotel. Comfy bed and very roomy inside the rooms. Definitely will stay here agin.
- 1/5
We asked to move to another room and it was exactly the same. It was too much for us and we decided to leave. On the way out, we met another couple at the elevator with the exact same story. They checked in and immediately left because of the room condition. To top it all, when we contacted hotels.com customer service, instead of apologizing for the experience, the property manager refused to refund the room despite the fact we didn’t use the room. Bottom line: save your money and go somewhere else. This hotel is in poor condition and clearly has serious cleanliness and management problems — avoid it at all costs.
- 5/5
Would highly recommend and I would stay there again!
- 5/5
The pool had a film on it but pool area was clean. The staff was out of the world. The hotel is under construction so there is some questionable things but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. The free breakfast wasn’t bad.
- 5/5
One of the best rooms I’ve stayed in in years!
- 3/5
The Cicero Grand left something to be desired. It looks like it is in transition and helopefully grander things are on the horizon for them. It wasnt bad but certain things were just off. My wife expected the room to have some sort of hair dryer and when asking the desk they said they had some in a couple rooms and would check if the rooms were available. (We got her a hair dryer instead of using a different room to dry her hair). The room didnt have any usb charging ports which was very surprising. They side table lamps had regular outlets on them but they didnt work either. Few other things here and there too but thats the idea.
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable. I'd definitely stay there again. The staff was great and the room was modern.
- 2/5
They provided us with no pillows for our pull out coach and no towels!! They gave us hand towels only!
- 1/5
No towels
- 5/5
Helpful front desk clerk. Clean and comfortable bed and pillows.
- 1/5
Room service was terrible. The actual customer service at the desk left a fair amount to be desired. Kind of disappointed to say the least.
- 5/5
Plenty of parking, close to everything. However was not a fan of not having any towels in the room when checking in.
- 5/5
Some one named ana who work front desk was amazing she honestly helped and resolved some issues i was having with booking loved the experience thanks to her and the stay
- 3/5
The security lock on the hotel door was missing. The front desk clerk explained helpfully that was because "somebody broke it." A bit unnerving. The place was far from full but he didn't offer me a room with a functioning security lock. The bathtub drain leaks water, making it annoying to take a bath. The continental breakfast is nothing special, but at least they have eggs (from liquid eggs), bacon, fruit, yogurt, and almond milk. Nobody knows how to use the TVs. Very annoying. The next morning I heard people complaining about lack of towels and the useless TVs. The bed was comfortable.
- 1/5
The room was not cleaned and smelled like urine.
- 1/5
Check-in seemed easy enough but room was not clean..was given another room but it was not supposed to be used ..after that snafu we were given a third room and that is where we stayed
- 3/5
The room was clean, only thing wrong with the stay was the staff. We went to town for a concert so we got back pretty late and were excited for a mid morning check out. We checked out before the check out time but had multiple staff members question and make comments about the check out time we chose, as if it were an inconvenience that we were not out early morning. I've stayed at this facility multiple times under a different establishment and sadly will probably never go back again based on the professionalism of the staff there.
- 3/5
The location was convenient to where we are working. The beds were not comfortable and there were NO towels in our room. The pool was very cloudy and cold. It says it is heated but the air was warmer then the pool.
- 3/5
One of the beds was really uncomfortable, the mattress was shot. Floors were sticky and my socks ended up soiled after walking around. No toiletries were in the bathroom so I had to get some from the front desk, The toilet tissue holder was broken and the kleenex holder was old and rusted. The drain in the bathroom sink did not empty. The hotel is in real need of a complete overhaul. I must say the best part of the trip was your friendly front desk associate Mary. She was always around helping people and it was obvious that she wanted everyone to enjoy their stay.
- 2/5
No bathroom towels just 1 hand towel, dirty toilet, very dusty in top of the microwave, tv was not working, pull out sofa with stains. When checking in the guy was nice but in the morning they were never in the front desk. The breakfast eggs were cold. No juices or yogurt. Syrup for pancakes were out. The Coffee had grinds. In my honest opinion I know they are remodeling but they can do way better. They need dinning tables so people can eat breakfast.
- 1/5
Disgusting
- 4/5
I do like how everything is clean.
- 2/5
Rooms were dirty no towels
- 1/5
Great place to stay liked the separate sitting area from the beds
- 3/5
The sofa in the room was stained, old and dirty. The tv is very small AND all of the channels kept going in and out (I'm assuming they have a dish). Front desk Woman was very pleasant.
- 5/5
Clean and spacious, good service, quiet room, large parking lot
- 3/5
The room was nice but the night stand had something sticky all over it and the tables were dirty. There wasn’t a single towel or washcloth in the room or complimentary items. The complimentary breakfast was a disaster. Nothing was stocked. The ladies working were very kind though.
- 5/5
Beautiful room
- 1/5
Only 2 bath towels (no hand towels, bath mat, wash cloths) for 4 people. Wallpaper hanging off the wall. No remote for the tv. Went back 3 times to get remotes that didn't work, thus no TV. Drip noise in the shower all night that sounded like it was behind the wall. Several electric wall outlets didn't work to charge our phones.
- 2/5
I was traveling with 2 kids. One kid wanted to sleep on the pull out couch so I asked for an extra set of bedding and pillows. Front desk said they were out of pillows. Also there was no shampoo or conditioner like most hotels provide.
- 4/5
The facility was clean. The staff—Anna and Mary— were excellent and worked hard to make our stay great.
- 1/5
Front desk staff were unfriendly, short, and inattentive. So unfortunate. Pool was green and cloudy, big let down for the kids.
- 4/5
Polite and helpful staff. Room was large with two queen beds and pullout couch to accommodate 5 plus a dog. Bathroom shower was in need of renovation. Breakfast was below average. Lobby was very clean and modernized. Pricing was better than average.
- 3/5
Room key had to be reprogrammed 5-6 times. Very inconvenient due to needing multiple trips down to dest on 1st floor each time. Also, no one cleaned the room or replaced towels.
- 5/5
Our family vacationed on a road trip for 12 days, and this was our favorite hotel. It was very clean and comfortable. Mary, at the front desk, went way out of her way to be so helpful to us in everything we needed. The pool was opened for a short time during our stay, but mostly was out of service. Breakfast was above average for a hotel breakfast. Room included a fold out sofa for our 3rd child, which we appreciated. More towels were available when we requested them. Quiet rooms. It was a really comfortable stay.
- 4/5
We had our dog with us and worked out perfectly to be by exit. We enjoyed our 3 nights. Will use hotel when back in the area again.
- 4/5
Great for a one night stay. Pool was not working and no AC in small fitness room.
- 5/5
Wonderful receptionist, who was very accommodating for a late check-in. Breakfast was delicious, and rooms were very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!
- 2/5
Put mirrors near room door instead of in front of bed, there was no hairdryer
- 5/5
Nice
- 3/5
Staff was friendly and helpful. Property is well situated for exploring the area.
- 5/5
The hotel desk staff was among the best I have encountered. Friendly, and very attentive to our needs
- 4/5
Friendly staff and nice rooms. My only complaint was the 1 st room I was in and all unpacked had a TV that didn’t work. The maintenance guy couldn’t fix it so they moved me across the hall to another room.
- 4/5
Some insect or bug bite caused some redness and irritation on my skin
- 3/5
Was not told at check in that you need to request room and bathroom to be cleaned each day.
- 2/5
We made a complaint and they did not bring sheets to us. We had to get them and change the bed in order to go to sleep. There was 1 towel for two people and the shower had little pressure
- 5/5
Showers could be better, luke warm and not much pressure
- 2/5
No sheets no towels or hand towels in the bathroom, extra small pillows, had to ask for sheets.
- 2/5
There were issues with the Keys, not a big deal, but there was no hot water. That is a big deal. They should have discounted everyone's bill. When you're traveling you want to take a shower. Having hot water is a must.
- 1/5
Just horrible. No hot water in the facility. Room is not cleaned. Had a bunch of food in our refrigerator that wasn't ours. Breakfast. Food was warmed up from yesterday. Etc etc etc
- 5/5
Excellent front desk customer service. Very nicely decorated hotel for a great price. Free breakfast was a nice perk
- 3/5
Few months ago I traveled without my tiny dog and had a beautiful room and overall I was very satisfied even with the renovation going on. But for this trip, I had my small dog and kids and my room was on the 3rd floor. The room was not as expected. Definitely didn’t look really clean and the worse was the mattresses with huge yellow stains, also the sheets had some black stains. They did smell clean but really gross me out. Also, the box spring cover had huge stains. I really felt uncomfortable to sleep in the bed but I was so tired after driving all day and I arrived in middle of night. So, I just looked for bugs and didn’t see anything. That’s good!!! And tried to get few hours of sleep. The breakfast was ok, not great. Honestly, I am a regular customer for the last 5 years and I really thought with the renovation going through it would have been the perfect stay, but it keeps getting worse. Very disappointing.
- 2/5
Room was rather large however linens, carpets and couch were all in very rough shape with a lot of stains. Over al cleanliness was rather poor. The breakfast was substandard at best. They staff reminded me of a reformatory staff rather than hotel staff.
- 5/5
The registration team were able to move my arrival date due to an issue that arose on my end. It was so helpful and appreciated.
- 1/5
The eggs and sausages on the breakfast were cold, coffee tasted old. I was very disappointed over all with my visit here
- 3/5
Did not know that the hotel was under renovation. Pool and fitness center closed. Rarely saw anyone at desk- had to wait for someone to wander by asking if I needed help to go find staff for check-in. Breakfast first day was ok, but second day variety of offerings was very limited even though I arrived at the same time.
- 5/5
Great place always! Gal at the front desk was amazing. Have seen her for multiple stays and she is great! Can’t remember her name. Maybe management can comment! Stayed May 24-25. She’s there through the evenings into the morning. 10/10
- 2/5
Customer service was below average for sure. Hardly was there an attendant at the front desk. Every day when returning to the hotel, I had to get a new key card. I was told it is my fault, that i must be leaving it next to my phone or wallet. I travel for a living and i have never had this problem occur. there were other guest that had the same issues. there were dogs in the room next to me that barked the entire night. finally at midnight it got resolved. the next night, there was someone staying next to me that was smoking marijuana. Overall, it was not a relaxing stay.
- 4/5
Mary checked us in right away and was very friendly. Trip to visit Syracuse University so it was a quick trip. Free breakfast including a do it yourself waffle station made check out a breeze!
- 4/5
Wasnt anything special and not worth the inflated price due to graduation at the university,no comparison to my first choice,Hampton
- 2/5
The hotel was not clean. Rooms are outdated, especially the furniture. Our room was not cleaned when checked in and had to wait until someone cleaned it. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful but they are in a bad spot. The hotel needs serious investment in order to be a variable hotel. I was promised a discount but have yet to see it.
- 4/5
I had issues with other guests’ dog barking and had to move rooms. Then, had to move rooms again for the second night of my stay. All of this was navigated patiently and with priority by the woman who works the night desk. She made it happen at minimal inconvenience to me.
- 4/5
Property was ok. Need to udate their sodabeds and had to get out own sheets for it.
- 5/5
Friendly and professional.great continental breakfast.would stay again
- 4/5
I lived in Cicero for 14 years, since I moved five years ago this hotel has become my favorite place to stay, it’s my old neighborhood 😁 and also, because of the price range and pet friendly.
- 5/5
Very nice person My room was very nice and clean Very good breakfast I am very pleased with my stay Thank you
- 1/5
The staff was extremely rude. The mattress had several stains and raised mold was on it. Mattress had visible springs exposed. The bathroom had hairballs on the wall. They ran out of pillows so we had no pillows. Staff was downright disrespectful when I told them about these things.
- 3/5
It started with a very load speaking manager talking about an employee issue and talking to someone ker phone about a credit card transaction.
- 1/5
Took forever to check in. No pool hours on Sundays. No sheet on the pull out couch. Pull out couch uncomfortable, dirty elevator. Freezer needed to be defrosted. Terrible and nasty.
- 4/5
Decent hotel, clean and comfortable. Would stay again.
- 1/5
Room wasn't ready on time, cleaning was less than satisfactory by the time we did get in. No working TV, No remote, broken lamp, toilet not cleaned, super thin walls could hear neighbours and people in the hall all night, extremely limited staff. Would not stay again.
- 1/5
I regret every part of my stay!
- 3/5
When we were on our way back, stayed again and second floor was much nicer.
- 1/5
I am writing to formally express our disappointment and frustration regarding the handling of our current booking through Expedia for a 4-night stay at your hotel. In accordance with the directions provided on your website, we requested daily housekeeping service both during online booking and again at check-in. On Sunday morning, before leaving the hotel, we also confirmed at the front desk that our room should be made up that day. When we returned Sunday night, we found that the room had not been serviced. We were offered an apology and provided with fresh towels — which we accepted — and were assured the issue would be promptly addressed. However, on Monday evening, we returned once again to find that no one had entered our room since our arrival on Saturday. I went to the front desk and was again handed towels and another apology. This time, we weren’t even given a bathmat. This morning, I attempted once more to address the issue before leaving for the day. I stopped by the front desk, and the only response I received was being told to take a business card. No staff member took the time to engage with me or ensure that our room would finally be serviced. I travel frequently and pride myself on being patient and easy-going, but the continued lack of basic hospitality and follow-through at your hotel is unacceptable. I’ve tried to resolve this directly
- 1/5
The pool was not open and we left, the staff did not tell us it was closed and was not very helpful or respectful of our disatisfication. We have requested a refund, without response.
- 4/5
It’s in a very quiet area, and convenient to the interstate.
- 3/5
Quick overnight. Disappointed pool was closed even though sign at desk said open. Did not use gym. Deluxe Suite room was roomy with a love seat sized sofa. Bed was comfortable. HVAC system was loud. Fridge in room clean with mini freezer. No safe. Bathroom roomy, water pressure good. Had to get an extra towel for floor as there was no mat for the bathroom floor. Included breakfast was just okay. Watery eggs, paper thin odd tasting bacon but did have make your own waffles, yogurt and apples. Value for money good. Service was friendly. They are undergoing renovations and will be transitioning to a Marriot soon.
- 3/5
It was ok
- 2/5
Pull out beds were uncomfortable, and broken. Breakfast was poor quality eggs were salty, sausage was rubbery, got a bagel with mold on it. Under staffed. Workers were really friendly and did work hard to deal with the issues. By far the worst experience I have had.
- 1/5
The great thing was the staff that came to clean the room right away and the bed, it was quite comfortable.
- 3/5
Our floor was under construction… bare dirty floors in the common area on the 3rd floor. Sticky tack/glue near room door that you had to step on each time. Room number was written in a sharpie by our door. We had someone knock on door because they thought we were their unit because door numbers were hard to read. Felt somewhat unsafe and unclean because of it. Not what you expect for $230 per night.
- 3/5
We got off on the wrong foot with check-in. Not that it was bad but the attendant was not friendly or helpful. We weren't pointed in the direction of the elevators or told what time breakfast would be, pool hours, etc. The pool was very small. Breakfast left much to be desired, even for a continental breakfast. No cereal, no milk, no muffins or pastries. We really just use the hotel for sleeping and breakfast, so we're not looking for top tier hotel options, but a good breakfast makes or breaks the stay for me. And this was a deal breaker.
- 4/5
Second time staying at hotel. It's going through renovations with new owner and is understaffed, however, my room was clean and comfortable. The staff that are there are pleasant and the complimentary breakfast is good.
- 1/5
Nothing worked, pool was disgusting. I confirmed a double queen and was given a single king. Unacceptable for the price.
- 4/5
Rooms were clean, breakfast was good and staff was very nice.
- 5/5
Absolutely love staying here! My daughters and I choose this hotel quite a bit!
- 3/5
The hotel was decent but they didn’t give any towels or change the garbage throughout our stay. They did mention that the beds would not be made or cleaning of our room during our stay but to not give fresh towels, or change the garbage was a bit shocking. They didn’t even give addition toilet paper we only noticed when we ran out and had to ask for more toilet paper.
- 3/5
I was a little upset about expedia charging me tax when i was traviling for the collage tax examp. And the management could not do anything. At the moment expedia customer service does nothing to help
- 4/5
This is a pretty decent place to stay on a budget. My experience was good
- 2/5
Well from the time I checked in there were issues. The room we paid to guarantee it was given away. We then had to switch to a different room where 1 of our children had to sleep on a comforter on the floor. Then we were told the manager would be in when we checked out in the morning and she wasn’t. Then the manager said she was going to give me a discount which still have not received and this was almost 2 weeks ago now. I tried calling and keep getting told she’s not available. Don’t lie to guests if you want them to come back. I’ve stayed here numerous times under the old name it had and now we’re not going back.
- 1/5
Room was leaking and third floor had a lot of black mold by the stair well
- 1/5
It was absolutely disgusting! The front desk person did not fix the issue. We requested towels and her to look at the room. She never showed. The pool had a ring of grim around it that people scratched their names in. There was a ring of grim in the bathtub. Sticky stuff all over the floor. There was trash in the couch and grapes all over floor. My daughter found small round shaped candy on the floor. Stained dirty couch. Please look at the pictures.
- 5/5
I stayed at Cicero grab food(1) one night with since friends for a night away to celebrate my 50th birthday. I booked my room online with no issues by brother on the other hand waited until we got to girl to decide he wanted his own room. There was a lil bump on the road doing sick because he didn't have a credit card. Needles to say things for a lil confusing but the lady at the front desk made the checking in not as stressful and no one got worked up or agitated. We all had a great night with no issues.
- 5/5
The Cicero Grand was great and easy to get to. No complaints.
- 1/5
.
- 4/5
Everything was great.
- 5/5
I will definitely book again
- 1/5
They took 45 minutes to check in, no TV remote and no information on how to call service desk & WIFI. Overall I don’t recommend this hotel
