Quality Inn & Suites North Myrtle Beach

Though most of the hotel was clean, the second floor is an absolute mess. There is a leak and the set up doesn’t allow for airflow. Do not let them put you in a room on the second floor! All others should be fine

It was very clean friendly staff

First room we were in apparently had an air-conditioning leak prior to our stay. We woke up the next morning to water coming through the floor all over the room. We were then moved to a different room on the third floor with loud neighbors upstairs. Breakfast was OK if you like waffles. Hotel is very outdated and really could use an update. Pillows are the size of a square throw pillow inside of a pillowcase.

Motels are getting better with simple registration and checkout. I retired from airlines so I have stayed in alot of motels. Only fault I saw at this stay was lack of a friendly smile from the desk clerk. Giving a smile cost nothing but gives alot.

The staff at the property were very friendly and helpful and the property was clean and well taken care of. No complaints about this hotel.

The room was so musty smelling! The second floor halls smelled like a dead body. Made me sick to my stomach.

The location was good if you're planning on spending time at Barefoot Landing. There is plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. The hotel is clean and room size is good. Having a fridge and microwave is nice. The parking lot is small and so is the outdoor pool. The breakfast needs more hot food added and more juices.

Was pleasantly surprised by this Quality Inn because it was a five story hotel, not a motel style. The property was very clean, receptionist was pleasant when checking in. The room was very clean, although we thought the bed a little firm. The continental breakfast was a little lacking, not a lot of selection, no bagels or pastries and the bread was white Wonder or wheat. We did find a great bagel place only about 1.7 miles away. We would definitely stay here again.

Basic hotel. Shower wasn’t clean. Breakfast wasn’t too bad. Same items served everyday. Near the beach. Emptying the dumpster at 6:30 am twice was unappreciated

First and foremost, the staff was outstanding. The man who checked us in was friendly and accommodating. He was very warm and inviting. 10/10 for him. The hotel was clean and taken care of. Housekeeping was very sweet. The breakfast was okay. The beds though, killed our backs and I’m not even in my 50s yet. The pillows are tiny. I’m glad we brought our own. The pool was nicely maintained.

everything was great except for the parking, the bikers had their trucks with trailers blocking a lot of parking spots and for people with disabilities, it was difficult to park far away

Rooms were clean and well maintained. Bed was comfortable. Locations entrance includes a set of stairs and there is no information provided that an alternative entry point is available. Individuals requiring assistance are not aware of an alternative entrance find themselves carrying their luggage upstairs unnecessarily. It needs to include better communication about injury in the building with luggage are those with special needs.

Need to replace the bed pillows, much too soft. The next note is for parents with children. This is hotel and its hallways is not a playground. Please teach your children the respect for other guests; no screaming, no slamming of doors. We'd all appreciate that.

It was fine for our quick stay.

Gave us a room/suite that was not clean - bed's unmade, dirty towels in bathroom. So my family of 3 had to move to 2 separate rooms the 1st night until our "real" room was cleaned the next morning. It was an inconvenience, but the staff was super nice and attentive and very apologetic. Once we got moved into our room the next morning, it was clean but there was still food crumbs on the floor and under couch. So we just didn't feel clean our whole stay. Also the room was very damp which made us feel that much less clean the entire stay. We were in room 400. Positives were the staff and breakfast was average. Would not stay here again though.

Nothing There was people smoking in rooms it was supposed to be a non smoking facility. Beds were hard and sheets were dirty.

If the room had a balcony it would be perfect other than that it wasn't too much to dislike.

The hallways needed the carpet cleaned. New carpet would’ve been in order. The elevator floor was filthy. The bedsheets were wrinkled not really sure what to think about that. The bed overall was half decently comfortable. We didn’t have a problem with that. There were signs of lack of maintenance on the bathroom door and the hinges which showed rust. Also the shower drained slowly. Not really an issue, particularly if no one has reported it and we didn’t report that either but maybe that would fall under maintenance as something that should be checked periodically. Overall, when paying over $300 for a room at a hotel that I might consider to be a three star, I feel we overpaid at that price point and in any hotel where you have to pay that amount. Everything should be perfect not necessarily high scale, high-end, but at least be good. As far as the breakfast goes, it was marginal. Coffee was horrible and on par with just the worst of the worst. Not sure if that was just an issue with this location or in general the coffee’s like that at all the locations. As compared to other hotels at a lower price point, the selection of food was less and lower quality.

I didn’t find out until I was leaving, but as I was packing our stuff I pull sheets off bed to make sure I ain’t leave nothing. As I pull them off I notice the sheets are stained. I was upset knowing I had laid in them over the weekend.

The room we occupied was clean, the bed extremely comfortable, and the bath area well stocked. The breakfast could provide a few more items such as hard-boiled eggs (not fond of egg "patties." and a chance at times from sausage to bacon. It would also be nice if you had some packaged pastries when you don't have time to sit down and eat. Other than that, the coffee was fabulous as well as the orange juice. Thank you!

The receptionist at the desk was super sweet and super nice for I wasn't having the best love during my stay because my friend's boat broke down but she made sure I was able to get in my room if I was late for a check out

Tahe location was perfect, I was down to see my family and I wanted to be close to them. I coiuldn't think of nothing wrong I love everything! If I had to stay in a motel again it would definitely be Quality Inn.

Check in was a breeze and the most polite I've had in a long time. Room was clean and fresh. Nothing bad to say and the rate was far better than those closer to the House of Blues which was my destination for a show. Quick Uber ride away from the venue and overall a pleasant stay.

Recently updated hotel that is very convenient to N. Myrtle Beach soccer Complex; shopping; and dining. Hot breakfast included. Hotel very clean. Only small issue is that the pillows were small, but the bed was very comfortable.

My trip last week 4/18/26 - 4/21/26 was awful! On check-in, I waited 10 minutes before Lawrence came around the corner, then another 5 minutes for him to deal with another guest, then do something on his computer. The room was in a good location for us, but it was nasty! The floors were sticky, there was urine on the base of the toilet, the AC filters were dirty, and the complimentary breakfast was gross. I inquired when Ken, the general manager, would be available, then asked him to come to our room to see what I was talking about. I also had pictures to show him after I had cleaned the AC filters shortly after arriving, and the paper towels that were black from the area where my wife wiped up some of the sticky mess. We would not put anything on the floor. Based on all of that, we went out and bought flipflops to wear in the room and in the shower, not trusting that it had been cleaned either. Unfortunately, there were some issues last year when we stayed here, but I did not submit a review because Ken credited me for a weekend night. This time, he told me that he would give me a free night because he could not give me a credit because I paid through a third party, Expedia. Funny thing, I paid the same way last year, so that was not true. We will not be going back to that property because of the lack of cleanliness, even if I was offered three free nights!

The property and location were perfect for what I needed.

They did not clean my room even once, but you still paying like they did. Everyone is lowering the standards and raising the prices.

Only thing wrong about our stay was the floors in the room was sticky....so bad the we wore socks and they stuck the the floor.

Nice place. Great part of town, near a lot of food and shopping options. Clean room and bathroom. AC fan blew like an asthmatic person after climbing two flights of stairs. Still cooled, but took some time.

Parking was inconvenient as the lot was being resealed and striped and laundry. Inconvenient getting towels from front desk every morning.

Breakfast wasn't bad. Its really the staff and location that keeps me returning. Location is within walking distance of many restaurants and some locations with live entertainment. Staff is always friendly and good for a laugh at times.

The room was updated and very clean. I felt comfortable because as soon as we walked in you could tell the room was clean and sanitized. The floors were beautiful the bathroom was clean .. overall great stay. We had our wedding reception there after having a small chapel/ beach ceremony 10 years ago so it was nice to return and just reminisce.

The room was very damp. The air conditioner leaked on the floor. If you left any article of clothing on a chair, the next morning it was damp. Maintenance was unavailable because it was the weekend. We were given the option to move to a different room, but declined because we already had our belongings spread out in the room and in the drawers and closet.

Good stay for one night. Beds are comfy but I hate how they don’t have water refill station. Staff at night was pretty lazy and didn’t know I need help since he was on phone.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and in great shape. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and the parking lot was easy for us to get a full size truck around in. The only thing that stops me from doing a 5 star is the smell. There was a musty smell in the wing we stayed in.

Love staying here. Mr. Laurence at the desk is absolutely amazing. My only shtick and it’s a small one is that the shampoo and conditioner bottles are mounted too high on the shower wall and hard to reach.

It would've been nice if there was daily housekeeping and not just after the 3rd night. There was also never consistently pool towels out in the pool area cabinet. Also, the pillows kind of sucked.

All though the rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The fact that the on site shopping and spa services was not available threw a small dent in the hotel experience because that was one of the reasons I chose the hotel I wasn’t able to for fill my mom complete birthday experience.

Let me start off saying the man at the check-in desk was great. Very friendly. That’s where the positive ends. This place was dirty, old and run down. The pool was the size of the bathroom. Very small. The pillows weren’t even as big as throw pillows. The bed was hard. A salon was on the first floor and it wreaked of perms and hair spray. Major water damage on the ceilings, tv remote didn’t work, hot and cold mixed up in shower with no water pressure. Toilet tissue beyond thin. People blasting music, etc. I’m pretty sure people live there kinda like an extended stay. I was beyond grossed out. Never again.

The whole place could use some new carpet and paint, as it was quite dated. Also, the pool was extremely small. Overall it was was fine for a short visit.

Acceptable, unfortunately had chids running down hallway afrer 10 pm, disturbing. Also bathroom sink drained very slowly.. Bed was comfortable.

Julia was very kind in helping me to get either adjourning rooms. She was unable so she got me rooms next to each other which worked out just fine. Margaret in the dining area was very kind and cordial. She was pleasant and had a sweet spirit . Made sure there was plenty of food for all the hotel guest.

Lawrence at the front desk was excellent. He was helpful and so friendly.

The room's AC unit leaked a good bit of water across the floor. Upon reporting it to the front desk (after hours), I was told that they're leaking in all of the rooms and was handed a couple bath towels to lay down. After housekeeping cleaned the room on Day 3, they removed the AC towels, which allowed it to leak across the floor again. I reported it to a different desk manager, who sent someone to clean it up. They also vacuumed out the drain pan. It was suspected that the drain line was clogged. Nonetheless, his effort finally stopped the leak. I met 4 different front desk managers and they were all very professional and helpful. The housekeeping staff were very friendly too.

This property is a convenient area. Older with some updates. Who ever was hired to paint just slapped in on peeling paint a better job could have been done. Breakfast good. Clean place. The older gentleman manager who works night was very helpful and nice.

Hotel was clean, I was able to get clean towels and washcloths. They do not have housekeeping to provide any services during your stay. Hotel looked updated.

My only complaint is, there were a group of people smoking weed in the swimming pool area. They continued smoking after we walked in the pool area. No respect whatsoever for the patrons.

Wonderful staff and clean place

Wifi was out a couple hours the first night. Air condictioning brought moisture into the room, Breakfast was not great and the start at 7:00 am made it difficult for 8:00 am tee times. Appreciated the call that I had left my insulin in the refrigerator!

Breakfast was well below acceptable, outside of the waffles the other offerings were terrible! Showering in luke warm water every morning made us glad to return home!

In my room the shower faucet handle was dirty. There was grime around the edges and black spots inside the knob itself. The shower curtain was unclean, with stains and discoloration along the bottom that looked like mildew. There was also a sign saying rooms are only cleaned upon request and every three days for longer stays. It shows! Once I complained, the manager told me to contact Expedia. I did and Expedia reached out to the hotel. The hotel only offered 50 percent off one night. At the very least, that night should have been fully comped. Also, if you're used to hotels where you can charge your phone on the nightstand, forget it. The only outlets are across the room unless you unplug a lamp. Do yourself a favor and search “dirty” in the reviews. I wish I had. The word “Quality” in the name is misleading. I will never stay here again.

The overall hotel was great for its price. The room service once after 3 nights is not that good. There was one receptionist who kind of lacked respect for the customers. Other staff were very nice. Other than that, everything was fine.

Reasonable rates for peak time im the Grand Strand. In a quieter part of the Grand Strand. Service was excellent and room was clean. Decent Breakfast and free parking

Although I did not like that they only had ice machines on 3 floors, had to put my trash in the hall along with dirty towels because they did not have housekeeping.
