Oasis Hotel

The hotel is older, but the price of the rooms reflect that. The beds were comfortable and the AC was cold. I was happy staying there. I have no complaints. The shower was hot and the pool was clean. It offers access to the beach. Thanks

We never ended up staying there. We left later than we were originally planing and would not arrive until late. Apparently, there is no one at the front desk to check you in after 7pm. When we tried to contact the hotel no one answered the phone. When we did get the answering machine it was full and we could not leave a message. We also sent messages through the app. We then reached out to Hotels.com for assistance and they did not get any response from the hotel either. Do yourself a favor and don’t book here….

The hotel had roaches not clean at all. The air conditioner didn't barely work. Just overall terrible place to stay. We only stayed for one night.

Upon a late arrival (10pm), there was a sign on door to call a number for check in (no front desk staff to check-in “after hours”. The maintenance guy came out to greet us (he was nice). We checked in he gave us our keys (any actual key). He explained pool hours said pool is closed right now, but it’s “not locked” “no lights”, that’s why can’t swim (red flag 1). He brought us to elevator, it opened and it’s falling apart inside floors peeled along with sides (red flag2). We get to our room, walk in lighting is SUPER dim, had a moisture scent, we turned to lock door behind us, NO DEADBOLT or some type of secondary lock (red flag 3). We finally find a lamp that works for more lighting. My friend immediately finds 2 small black bugs on one bed, I searched the other bed and find 3 bugs (red flag 4) I check the bathroom, and find dirty underwater hanging from behind bathroom door. We immediately start searching for another place to stay. While searching, ROACHES were crawling out from every dark spot. Some crawling on head boards, under the beds, and the air vents! We called maintenance guy and said we were checking within 10min of being there. He said “I don’t blame you, they lied with the room pictures” “You need to ask for your money back”.

It’s what it is for the price. Rooms could use upgrades but it’s Myrtle Beach

The room was horrible, there was years of filth behind the dresser,the rug tiles were peeling, the corners of the room had old sand imbedded in it, the table was cracked, the lamps were rusted, there was a rodent trap near the fridge, the dresser was cracked, there were missing tiles as you walked in the bathroom, the bathroom fan didn’t work, the light in the bathroom made a buzzing sound, the microwave was old & dirty, the fridge was disgusting, the room key number was etched in the key fab for the room, the shower was held together improperly, the toilet was improperly secured, the sink had a crack in it overall just horrible..Is there a way to get refunded ?

Absolutely not a thing Outdated Dirty Odor of the room and elevator The fact that the clean wrapper was on the toilet seat, but there was blood on the toilet seat. We didn’t stay 3 hours before we checked out

We almost cut our loss and went to another place. The only reason we stayed was because the bed was comfortable and the hotel was close to the venue. I would not recommend.

I documented the condition upon arrival and had to leave shortly afterward to secure alternate accommodations. The property did not meet reasonable expectations for cleanliness, safety, or accuracy of listing description. This was a frustrating experience and I hope stronger quality standards are enforced for listed properties.

I couldn’t even put my clothes on top of the shelves due to them being so dirty and having mold in them. The connecting room doors were wet and soft like and were unlocked and I had to put a table against the connecting doors just so I would know if someone came in my room in which my connect door room was open when I first moved into the room. The main lock on the hotel room door was so loose that I could pull open and it will come right open, and I had to go to Walmart to buy a door lock to put up against the door as well.

The roach infestation definitely wasnt disclosed prior to booking. I had to book a new hotel at 2am when i walked into my room and the bed was already occupied by visible roaches. Upon arrival, there was no one attending the office, just a hand written note taped to the door that said call this number for check-in. The picture of the view does look pretty close to the same. The pictures of the rooms do not. They are very dirty and run down. The AC was leaking all over the floor. The kitchenette sink base was soaked from a leak and clearly has been leaking for a long time, as it is completely rotted. Tub handles are falling off the wall, holes in the walls, furniture is damaged, light fixtures on nightstand were not cleaned. Doors were disgusting. Patio furniture was disgusting on our balcony AND the furniture by the pool. Carpet on the stairs was destroyed, fraying, and ripped. Never in my life have I ever stayed in such a disgusting hotel EVER! I paid almost $600 for 3 nights for a room that shouldnt be rented out at all but is worth $30/night MAX.

Very nice and accommodating staff. It’s not the Marriott or the Ritz, but it was a fairly decent room for the price. Beautiful view from the balcony. My only complaint was that my remote did not operate the TV. I wasn’t too concerned with watching TV so this wasn’t an unbearable inconvenience. The tub drained a little slow when I showered also. Again, it is not brand new or recently renovated hotel. A little rough around the edges, but my room was clean and had no issues from staff or other guest.

The only good thing about this hotel was the view from the balcony. The office was frequently locked and there was nobody around. The ceiling in the bathroom leaked water from the room upstairs. We had to sleep with the light on to help keep the roaches from crawling on us. They do not give refunds for any reason. Do NOT stay at Oasis Hotel !

The rooms are a bio hazard. They was stains on the floor curtains towels and on the lamps. It was a moldy microwave. Roaches in the room! Blood on the wall! Stains on the walls also. You have to get the before 12 or the man that’s in the office puts his phone on don’t disturb and goes to sleep. Don’t waste your money here it’s very nasty we slept in our cars also the pool is filthy also.

There were fireworks at 2am that woke the family up, but we were looking for something cheap for one night to get us down there a day early! The top of the walls and ceilings were coming apart... but it served its purpose!

Nice beachfront view from dirty window. I got stuck/ trapped in the elevator. No one answered the phone! Don’t know how long I was stuck. Started pressing buttons and eventually door partially opened enough for me to slide out before slamming closed. I was still on 4rth floor and used stairs for remaining time even with debilitating arthritis. No one in locked front office. Key didn’t work and no dead bolt so had to leave door unlocked to get back in.

You’renot paying for the hotel but the view! Check in you had to call a number and somebody met you at the door. Little odd but still. The condition of the hotel is definitely outdated and needs work but the doors locked and the view well the view made everything else seem like nothing. Staff was very friendly and we had a very peaceful stay. Would recommend if hotel isn’t a huge thing and you’re just trying to get away and enjoy the beach and other stuff but it’s a place to lay your head

Great place for solo travelers looking for an economical oceanfront place for a night or two.

Beach view was only good thing. No ice machine on property. Big gigantic outside roach entered through big open space under door. Two other medium size roaches crawling in tub and floor, several baby roaches found. I bought bug spray , cleaning spray and paper towels and tried to clean down anything I was apt to touch. Did not feel safe because doors were old and locks could easily have been pushed in or open.

The window in the room was cracked badly and the patio door couldn’t be locked. We never saw another guest or staff while we were there. The pictures on the website are not accurate AT ALL!

Hotel is nothing like the photos. The room we had was decent. It was a last minute option. Place was falling apart. Decided to stay 2 days and the toilet decided to give out. The staff was sooo friendly . They would ask you if you need anything and help if you needed help to your room. 5 stars for the staff and 1.5 stars for the property.

We did not stay. We walked in, the door had one lock on the handle, it was dirty, unsafe and looked like we could be in an unsafe place. As a woman with two teenagers- this is not it. We turned around and left. I would not recommend this at all.

This has to be the worst place I’ve ever stayed in my life and I’m 52 years old!!! Used condoms in the pool no smoke alarm in the room.. a pcs of condom wrapper on the floor.. the office is only open 3 hrs a day and if you get there late you’ll have to sleep in the parking lot like I did!!! Trust me it’s REALLY bad I have pictures!!

Check in said between 4 and 8pm. Arrived at 4:15 and door was locked and front reception room empty with no lights on. Called Hotels.com to get a refund and find another hotel last minute and they refused to honor a refund. I was not able to check in on time as I paid for so they should have refunded the 1 night stay but still refused. I took the loss and moved to another property. Do not stay at this Oasis hotel. It looks like a crack house and very dirty from the outside so who knows what the inside looks like. From other reviews you can see that the pictures clearly do not show what this place really looks like. I wouldn't stay there if it was free or even if you paid me.

The whole property was dirty, the room had a bad smell , carpet and fridge was dirty . My view was a dirty pollen pool .pool wasn’t working . They didn’t check my id or give me a parking pass . Everything was dusty n dirty the curtains and Carpet . Made me cringe end up leaving early

Asked for a refund for one of the two days I booked for this property I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone the pictures and the property are complete opposite very run down, filthy and downright disgusting between the crackheads and other unsavory characters the doors have only one lock while this trap house is a free for all it smelled like motor oil and piss reminded me of the episode chillgan's island on Martin

Place was great for the price. Our view had a palm tree in front of us which was disappointing. We cleaned our room upon arrival which wasnt bad to begin with and brought our own bedding.2 Dead cockroaches in the fridge never saw a live one. Tv remote didnt work. Had to purchase toilet paper only had 1 roll upon arriving, we stayed 4 days. Place was built in the 50s and clearly shows. Great location. No coffee pots in room or coffee in lobby, a guest(long term live in guest) advised us the ice machine hasnt worked in over 3 years. Id stay again but would request highest floor so a view can be seen. I did request a high floor weeks before going. 2nd floor was where we were placed w/limited views. Quiet place and clean.

I love the Oasis Hotel! It’s a great hotel if you’re on a budget with an AMAZING VIEW. The balcony is huge and private. I came here for a birthday weekend with my husband. We will be back again. With only one room available staff was able to get me a room on the top floor! 10/10 ✨💕

This is the worst place I have ever been! Didn’t stay there but maybe an hour! Went and got another room at another hotel. Front door looked like it had been kicked in. Bathroom door was not even attached at the bottom. Cabinets were leaning off the wall with Velcro to hold the doors shut. Puddle of water on top of the mini fridge. Door to the balcony was not even on the hinges. I would not stay in that room.

Nothing At Tf All First I Didn’t Have The Room I Booked and Paid For Secondly I Was Given Two Different Rooms 509 & 505(With Keys)Both Of These Rooms They Gave Me Was Occupied Resulting In Me Walking Into Peoples Rooms!!!!! The Last Room They Gave Me Room 207 Was Very Dissatisfying There Was No Real Security The Top Lock Was Broken There Were Scratch Marks On The Counters And I Even Encountered Some Small Insects At The Point I Immediately Ended My Trip And Left The Property! 0-100000 Never Recommending To Anyone

Panties from previous guests was found behind the bed. This is the worst motel I ever stayed in and I will never put foot back in that disgusting place.

I drove from pa to this place. The photos are deceiving. The red couch was blacken. When I got to the room the sheets were stained. It's very outdated definitely not worth the money. I didn't even put my things in that room. The only nice thing was the view but everything else wasn't great. I refuse to stay and made the decision to stay elsewhere.

Certain staff was unwilling to provide assistance when managerial staff was not present, and upon arrival all office doors were locked with limited explanation. Additionally, all doors for occupant stay were secured with only a single key to use, so if said key was lost there would be no way to access individual rooms without having to contact missing staff. Overall, our stay was not pleasant and we would highly advise any and all future patrons to seek out other accommodations elsewhere.

Filthy stained carpet and roaches and mouse traps in guest rooms. Prior to reserving a room, I’ve read some of the reviews so I kind of prepared prior to arrival. It is ocean front with every room ocean balcony. Property is very old and worn, room was clean as possible given the condition of the space. Great view and cheap price for location. short walk to beautiful beach. If you're picky, this is not for you.

If I could give zero stars I just definitely would. I don’t even know where to begin on the flith & the carpers are so worn down even in the elevator section. Only thing similar to the photo is mismatched pieces of carpet. This place need to be shut down commended & everyone need to run & fast. I did not like anything about this property. It was very unclean toilet do not work. Ice maker was broken didn't look like anybody cared to take care of the place. Tripping hazards in the parkkng lot. Not worth the money. Sleeping in the car would have been better!!!!!!

There was an inch of dirt and dust on somethings in the room. Half of the electric sockets didnt work, nor did the ac unit(we couldnt adjust nothing on it)! It was a terrible experience there. The maintenance manager tried to get the TV working the best he could. The Wi-Fi signal is very subpar! If the Owner/Manager would spend some $$$ for upgrades, the Oasis would be an Oasis. Sincerely Yours, Rm310.

Bed was comfy, Internet was not secure so was hesitant to use it, the TV had prime and Netflix already on it so that was nice. Overall, average spot. Lower your expectations, it's dirty myrtle after all.

The photos are a lie!! There is mold in the walk ways... rooms... pool.. and elevator! Our patio was unsafe and had drugs left on them from previous people in the room. This place is honestly disgusting. I wouldn’t even let my dog live in it. The staff was super nice that was the only good thing about it. The room was in god-awful shape. Looks like it hadn’t even been cleaned. I didn’t even feel clean after I took a shower in the shower. It was so bad.

Also, for safety I think the door locks to the room should be better and have a deadbolt. No breakfast services etc. For the price and location plus the room being decent I'd stay here again.

Not clean. Not Safe. Stains galore (bed spread, carpet chairs). Worn out furniture. No dead bolt for the main door that would open if sneezed upon. I left after 30 minutes after deciding there was nothing beneficial to stay here. I returned later to drop off my key. Never looked back. Unfortunately my pictures could not tell the entire story.

The property really needs to upgrade A LOT. It smelled really bad with marijuana. Someone was smoking it either across from our room or down below. The owner I guess she was, was nice and the cleaning ladies were nice but the property wasn’t so nice.

Bait and switch... photo online did NOT reflect the actual space... peeling paint, mold, soggy carpets, and a smell... an absolute horror show... the staff that checked us in(and IMMDEDIATELY OUT) admitted that MANY MAH guests had the same complaint and at least wrote "DID NOT STAY" on our sheet... absolutely DISGUSTING

Absolutely horrible. Place was infested with mold and smelled like old cigarettes. Everything was dirty and a mess. Didn’t even stay here and to put the cherry on top the property owner and Expedia both declined to give me my refund after getting insurance and not staying there a single night. Never booking through this site again and will definitely never be staying at that hotel.

Well…..you get what you pay for. It was oceanfront so that’s good. The fridge barely works. It stank a lil bit. Bring your own toilet paper because theirs is 1/2 ply lol. I would stay here again though!

Pool supposed to be open at 9 am, never opened before 10:30. Walk area from lobby to pool dirty, trash etc. Bottom balconies sinking. Our outside light didn't work, two of three lamps broken.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything all in all was good they did have a leak in the ceiling in the bathroom that was so bad i was scared something would fall in on us at any moment. No wifi but didnt matter as much cause we spent most of our time on the beach which was just a minute walk which we enjoyed very much.

Immediately upon walking into the room one bed was covered in animal hair. They replaced it. We dropped our bags and went out to enjoy our day. That evening is when we discovered the places is crawling with roaches. The facility is falling apart.

First of all, the beds were clean. The lady from the office was extremely nice, but she was never in there. She also cleaned the rooms and other jobs. There is a sign on the office window with a number to call when you get there. The ice maker did not work. There was a small refrigerator and microwave in the room. That was all. No kitchen sink. Nothing in the cabinets or drawers. Not even a fork or napkin. The door had a worn out doorknob, but no deadbolt. We moved heavy stuff in front of it at night so we could at least hear if someone was coming in. The other door had a deadbolt on it, but no doorknob. The last day we were there, we went into the bathroom and there was water running through the ceiling, not just dripping. It fiiled up the one trash can in the room. There was no answer on the emergency phone number. There was faulty receptacle so if you plugged in the lamp, you thought there would be a fire or something. The walls and ceilings needed to be painted. The pool was NASTY. Well, most everything was nasty too (or at least seemed like it). Well…we wanted an inexpensive place to stay and we got it.

This property is very rundown, not taken care of, and dirty to say the least! The staff was pleasant; however, the rooms were very nasty. My room had a broken lamp, a shattered patio table, dirty floors, and yellow stains on the mattress covers that looked like urine. No working Ice machine on the property, the Elevator looks like it is in serious need of attention, and it is dirty and smells so bad! The pool was not cleaned, furniture was broken, and it was in need of a deep clean. Mold was on the window ledges and in the bathroom, and the A/C did not have an on-off switch that worked; we had to unplug it to make it stop or start. Door knob falling off on the batroom dorrs and patio door. A few roaches were found during the day; however, once nighttime came, boy oh boy! The ceiling came to life :( The pictures shown for the location are nowhere near WHAT THIS PLACE LOOKS LIKE! IF I COULD have asked FOR A REFUND WHEN I GOT THERE, I WOULD have! Close to the beach, which was nice. If someone spent some time and dedication on this location, it would be a gem, but it needs some serious help! If you can find another place to stay, I would do so. Oh, and bring your coffee as well, not even a courtesy cup to go with the dirty coffee maker! When you see the other bad review pictures and reviews TAKE HEED THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE NOT WHAT IS BEING ADVERTISED! EVEN AT $300 FOR TWO NIGHTS IT WAS A SAD DISSAPOINTMENT

Not as described or shown in the pictures. Property is very run down. You can see daylight around the exterior doors. The balcony door will not look and the entrance door lock was not secure. The fence around the pool is about to fall down, the hand rail to enter the room is loose. Ac unit cover falling off wall and did not cooling properly. Carpet stained, towel bar and toilet paper holder falling off the wall. Checkout time different from what was online. Beds are full size not queen size. No spare key to the room said if lost they would break into the room stated lock are for honest people. Got stuck in the elevator. Ice machine says out of order but has the lid screwed shut. Smoke detectors removed from room. Will not stay here again this is the worst place I have ever stayed and would not recommend this hotel.

Only thing that was a draw back for us was the staff attendant wasn't always at the desk. We needed towels from the beginning of our stay and we ended up asking the maintenance man about them. Think in the three days we saw the attendant once.

The hotel was not the cleanest. There was hair all in the tub and in sink upon arrival. There was no dead bolt. After 7pm no one is on site for help. Our room was INFESTED with German roaches didn’t realize till night time when they all came out EVERYWHERE! There was no ice available the elevator was last serviced in 2020!! The hotel has so much potential felt ripped off for the price considering how ran down the place is. Our neighbor first night of stay asked us to call the emergency number because there was water leaking through the ceiling into his bathroom sink and no one answered or got back to me till 2 pm.

It is clear that hotels.com has no standards for condition of property. Mold/mildew around shower/ tub. No smoking supposedly, but smoke and cig butts all over. Pool filthy. Felt like a Mexico dive. But great location. Needs new owners and management

First they gave our room away to someone else. There was never anyone at the desk only a note on the door that said if you needed anything call this number . The elevator and room smells so bad we had to go to Walmart and buy air freshener and spray them both several times a day. The toilet didn't flush or work half the time. The bedspread had stains on them. No ice machine. Not a good place to stay.

Pros: Staff was friendly and it’s in a good location right on the beach, and within walking distance of a few shops and restaurants. Cons: The place needs some updating and needs to retrain their housekeeping staff. I should have looked at the reviews of the place, but unfortunately did not because the pictures on Expedia looked nice. But there are no refunds, and I couldn’t afford to get another hotel. Everything just seems dirty, and needs updating. The elevator was dirty and had a used q-tip in the floor, and the hallway smelled of pee and mold. There are no key cards or deadbolts for the room door, so not very secure since you use a regular key, so anyone could kick in the door. At first glance the room seemed ok, just smelled very musty. But upon further inspection found dirt/crumbs in the counter, hair in the shower, and somehow someone got toothpaste on the ceiling of the shower. The back patio door would not lock, so literally anyone could walk into the room. And the fire detector looked like it had mold on it. I’m ok if a room is not updated, but I at least want it clean and secure. I wanted to ask for a refund, but other reviews told me that wasn’t gonna happen, and without it I couldn’t afford another hotel. So I bought cleaning supplies and barricaded the doors at night, and hoped for the best. It’s a shame because the hotel has potential, but needs a serious deep clean. There is also no cable, but that was the least of my concerns.

The stay was alright. Im not sure who was running the place. But the maintenance man checked us in, and there was hardly anyone in office, we didnt really need much just wanted to get the travel pamphlets. We saw only one bug, no bed bugs. Its a bit run down but For it being a cheap place dont expect much. The veiw makes it worth the stay, right on the beach. The beach makes it better.

Staff there was great. Let me check in early and unlocked the room after I got locked out. The hotel in general is very old and dirty,wet and moldy. This place has gone through some serious neglect and is borderline unsafe and needing condemned. The room was descent with some holes here and there. The bed was comfortable and clean. No bolt lock on my door just the handle lock. Would definitely spend more money and stay somewhere else.

Staff was helpful & rooms were tidy. Will be visiting again!

The place is very run down. The rooms have no deadbolt. do not even consider this place.

A dirty building in need of renovation in a great location at a good price! Only for the adventurous!

Hotel was outdated and nasty. Will not be staying again. Cigarette butts in and around the pool. No wash area when returning from the beach. Overall disappointing.

This property should never be offered on this website! Safety is a huge issue!! The front door and balcony door only had one lock on each door, no deadbolt. We were given a key for the door, no key card. I worried someone could pick the lock so I pushed furniture in front of the doors to sleep. There was a hole in the door that connected the room with an adjoining room and the hotel had stuffed a rag in the hole. There was no desk person, the maintenance man had to give us our key. Would have left but got there at dusk after a long day. Hotels.com needs to pay this hotel a visit to see the disgusting and unsafe conditions for themselves!

It was dirty, our towels was dirty, Tv sound didn't work. We end up leaving, didn't even stay

I likes that the price was under $100 and was next to the ocean. We couldn't see the ocean for unkept grounds grown up high. One wall in our room had a short and no electric outlets would work on that side! One of the shorts popped and all the power in our room went out! Everything was dusty, dirty and falling apart! Our Smoke detector was a bracket on the wall stuffed with paper towels! There were No Deadbolts on either door for safety! Holes in walls! Staff lady was really nice and tried to help but the owners need to drop some money into remodeling instead of just renaming it!

Never judge a book by it's cover. This hotel was very clean. Better then the bad reviews that were given online. I will be stay again. The bed were very comfortable.

Even though the Hotel was not the most up to date and there were a few things that were not available the staff was extremely nice and very helpful. The room was clean and overall we had a nice stay.

Checked in with the front desk girl was eating lunch food falling out of her mouth while checking us in!She was on the phone with other customers letting them.know they didnt have any air in their room so I asked her if our room had air she said yes so we went to our room to walk into a nasty dirty room with no refrigerator working so we went back to ask for another room since WE paid for ocean front which was nothing but sand dunes so my husband had to carry a refrigerator to our room which was dirty and found a roach in my bathing suit bag as we were leaving!Nasty experience ever!We left&went to garden city&it was amazing!!

Stay was good I only stayed 1 night but honestly for the price you pay it's worth it. You get oceanfront for cheap but minus the amenities of the resorts. If you can afford it stay at another better resort especially with kids but if you on a budget and don't want to break the bank and want a pool and oceanfront do this.

It was Terrible!! The office is locked up tight!! You have to call a number to check in or out. The property is FILTHY!!! There are no fire sprinklers in the rooms and the fire alarm was not working. There was black mold all over the bathroom ceiling and the doors were so old they didn’t fit properly and you could see the outside. I have lots of pictures as proof!

The paint in the corner of the walls was cracked, the A/C didnt work, some of the rags and towels had stains on them, the balcony door mechanism was rusted and the ice machine was broken. I wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone

Tried to contact the front desk to turn in my key at check in, nobody answered what so ever. The pictures of the hotel is nothing like the actual rooms. The front floor, you can’t see the beach because it is too overgrown.
