We felt our stay was just ok, we were very disappointed in the breakfast menu, and it didn’t change all week. We never saw the pool or pool area cleaned. The surrounding ground either. The one stand out was a couple employees were friendly and helpful. The main one was Chad!!

I always enjoy my stay here when I'm in town for work. Is it perfect? No but no place is. My stay here is better than staying at the Courtyard near Barefoot Landing.

No conditioner just three bottles of shampoo and I asked the front desk and she said you guys don’t have conditioners

We very much enjoyed our stay. We did not spend a lot of time in the room or at the property but it was perfect for what we needed it for. The staff was EXCELLENT.

Overall good experience. While i did not go into the pool, it looked like it needed to be cleaned/treated. NO ice bucket in the room but I acquired one from the front desk. I noticed another patron carting one away from the front desk. staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good..an added plus! I would stay again!

Staff was super friendly and helpful when they could be. Room was basic. Hallways had a strange smell. First floor smelled like dog. Our 5th floor smelled like an attempt to cover up a bad smell with strong air fresheners. Random doors were propped open all down our hallway with the “do not disturb” signs displayed. Lots of loud tvs and music. Room included fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Beds were noisy. Sounded like fire works every time we moved because mattress was on a metal frame. Bedding was stained. Shower curtain had black mold along the bottom. Shower drain didn’t work. After a normal length shower you were left standing in 4 inches of water. Ice machines were non-functioning throughout the hotel. Our tv in the front part of suite didn’t have a remote so we couldnt use it. Staff was unable to provide a replacement. In search for tv remote, couch, chair cushions, and under couch areas was just gross with crumbs and hair. Breakfast was good. Coffee was good. Pool was nice but water somewhat cloudy. Overall, not as nice as other hotels of the same brand.

I like that I received the 2 beds as requested. It was just my son and I. The room was spacious. It had the basic necessities, iron, blow dryer, fridge, and microwave. Therewas an awful smell in the hallway floor. There was a mold smell. My floors in my room was sweating no matter if i had the air, heat or took a cold shower.

Tight parking since it's behind another hotel. I happened to know where it was.otherwise it would be hard to see in traffic.

The staff was pleasant and helpful. I felt like the room was worth what I paid.

The staff was very friendly. Loved that it was pet friendly. The metal bed frame, if you move on the bed you heard the metal underneath around the bottom sound like it was buckling. Also there was a candy wrapper behind the night stand. No hot water in the morning when .you daughter went for a shower!

This is a good hotel. Not fantastic but good. The front desk staff very nice. Breakfast just ok. Easy to get to local attractions. Only 1 elevator that looked to be in stage of repair? Room temp control excellent. Room/bathroom very clean. We could hear the exercise equipment beneath us being used but was not overly disturbing. Was a great option for traveling with a pet. Overall met our needs for a short stay.

The breakfast could have been better. Ok but have had better. Eggs were rubbery. Sausage was fine and needed oil for waffle maker. Wasn’t any fruit when we came down.

The property was fine, but the beds were by far the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept in. Hard with a metal sheet under the mattress acting as a bed spring. We almost left after the first night.

Staff are always courteous and efficient! Clean room! Only complaint is that the complimentary breakfast was not up to par (I have stayed here, other times). But I do believe this was a staffing issue, as the front desk staff, was having to do the breakfast area as well.

First , the staff was friendly and helpful. The room itself was nice size, nice bed , quiet, it was very nice for the price . Unfortunately the hotel allows pets , which should be relegated to 1 or 2 floors, but apparently that’s out of control. The halls have carpet from a distance it looks nice, but there were several pet urine stains . The smell was terrible . If they replace the halls with tile, they might be able to control it . It could be a really nice place for the price .

Our stay was great and the staff went out of their way to make ourstay perfect.

It smell bad, the sheets are old and stained, the lamps and everything is so old its rusted.

The real problem was the loud late check-in across the hall (1:30 am), followed by management having a loud discussion with them in the hall about their declined credit card at 2:15 am. Very inconsiderate! Pretty much ruined my night’s sleep.

Room was excellent overall, but had problem with the A/C - it smelled burnt when we turned it on. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a little trouble finding it, the first link I clicked took us to a wrong location with no hotel ( this might have been the address I was given online and typed in)

This is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel. I really enjoy it. Everything is so clean and nice. Many amenities that you would not think of a hotel of this cost we have. Highly recommended. Especially if you have pets.

The receptionist was excellent. She was very helpful and super friendly. My brother in law and I were tired from a long drive and she went overboard to assist us with directions and anything else that we needed. I wish I knew her name. She was smiling went I checked in and smiling when I checked out. :)

Clean accommodations and beds very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hot breakfast items like eggs, sausage and hash brown potatoes weren't the hottest temperature-wise, but the microwave fixed that in 20 seconds. Breakfast was still great. Overall, we were very pleased once again and we'll be coming back!

When you drive 10 hours to get to your location and have to sweep and mop the floor so as not to have dirt in the bed when you go to bed, I would fire housekeeping. And yes I have pictures to back up my claim. They refunded for the night but that's not the point it shouldn't have happened.

spots, mildew spots on the drain. I asked my husband to buy me flip flops to wear in the shower. No tissues in tissue box. Housekeeping needs work.

Having stayed at several LaQuintas in the past, this was just a disappointment. Seems like no one really cared to do a little better. To get in from MB on old 17 there was one little sign hidden behind a bush. One night I made 2 or 3 turns around the block before I found the entrance. I saw NO signage at all.

We to management to bring to their attention They have me a can of ant raid Did nothing. I didn’t even get a call from management after i requested it twice Never again!

Now the bad side, the bed was horrible! By the end of our stay I wanted to cry my back hurt so bad.

Rooms need big upgrades. Looks like they have tried to upgrade but it needs more. Pictures on website of rooms and not completely accurate.

Hotel was clean, staff was helpful and friendly. Only issue is we booked six nights and they only do housekeeping by request. When we requested it we found they didn't change the sheets only made to bed. The front desk was helpful and got anything we needed, towels, soap, sheets, etc. Included breakfast is decent.

The bed wasn’t too bad but it was very loud when moving around. With 6 people staying in one room, this makes it difficult for quiet time at night. Other than that, I was very pleased.

The bed had mold spots the lamps were rusted and dingy the place is just run down and a bit stinky. The staff was super friendly and professional though.

This was our first time traveling with our dogs. This hotel was very accommodating. The area foe walking pets had grass a bit long but other than that, it was a good area to walk them. The rooms were clean and the breakfasr hostess was amazing and friendly. All in all if we are in North Myrtle again it will be top of my list.

Restaurants in the area was good but the comfort of the beds which we had a king bed was hard. Not enough pillows room clean but bed comfort not good.

Overall I would not recommend this property. Our room was never cleaned. After returning from the beach on the third day of our stay around 4Pm I room had still not been cleaned. When I went to the front desk to ask about room cleaning I was told that unless housekeeping is requested they do not clean rooms and that housekeeping had gone home for the day. I was then given sheets for the bed and towels for myself to change. The manager was nice about everything but I was never told that unless I requested housekeeping my room would not be cleaned. In fact on the mirror in the bathroom there is a sticker that states your room will be cleaned every three days unless otherwise requested. Another concern was that are no towel racks or anywhere to hang towels or bathing suits to dry. Also, the AC made the room moist and my clothes were all damp during my four days there.

But as soon as I walked in, you could see money was not being used to improve or replace things. Worse than anything else, I checked in on a Monday Night, very late, no issues. Until my checkout, early Thursday morning, my room was never touched, wet towels were never replaced, tissue paper in the bathroom was empty after my first night.

We've stayed here before with our fur baby. This time, it came in handy while the Air Conditioning system at our home was down for repair. My only complaint would be that the coffee in the lobby was watered down. I suspect someone used more water than coffee beans in that batch.

I booked a suite. I got a large room, salvation army quality furniture and NO amenities. No little table and chairs, no extra sink, no hook in the bath to hang a towel. No coffee in the lobby after breakfast. ONE picture on the walls and it fell off at 6:30 AM. The staff was good, but the property itself is lipstick on a pig at best.

We choose this La Quinta because of the convenient location, price and very nice accommodations. Also, my wife has back problems and we know the beds are always comfortable.

I have stayed in La Quinta hotel numerous times but this was one of the worst places I have stayed. The sheets were clean but that’s where the positives stop. The lobby floors were sticky, the elevator floor was sticky and had garbage in it. The light fixture on our floor by the elevator was missing its glass. The room was all hard floors and felt like a cave. The room had a damp smell among other smells. The beds were the low point. It was like sleeping on a pull out couch, felt nothing but springs and where time you moved it was loud because it was on basically a metal box. Bathroom had no drier, no conditioner for the shower. Im not one to usually leave bad reviews but I couldn’t let this one slide.

Supposed to be a non smoking facility. Our room shoveled like an ashtray. Gross crumbs on floor. Roach crawling across our door. Ugh. And it was no deal, Easter weekend. Requested blankets and towels FOUR times.. Nothing til I stood at desk and waited.

In our first room, the TV did not have the channels I wanted to watch NCAA tournament, so they moved us to a nicer room with a jacuzzi tub. However, the tub dripped most of the time, and when we went to use it, the jets didn’t work. So, nice try, but……

We stay here quite often and Ms Claudia does a GREAT job! We'd met her at another hotel a few years ago. And just happened to see her again at this La Quinta a year or so later. The hotel has significantly improved across the board with her addition. We'll be back!

An older, motel with evidence of drunken misuse ion some doorways. Staff pleasant and room were well kept. All utilities working. Only thing I thought could have been better were instructions how to get around on the cable via remote. Did not like the single channel up and down scrolling. Maybe I'm remote illiterate!!!

The beds are awful. It was literally a mattress was on something that looked like a metal box the mattress slide constantly. The TV didn’t half work lost signal etc. frustrating front desk never picked the phone up so you had to go back downstairs just to ask a question. There were kids running up and down the hall early in the morning late at night in the floor above ours. Basically if you want a place to lay your head cheap.

I only enjoyed the breakfast during my entire stay. The room in which I was assigned was not tidy the sheets were dirty and the furniture was unstable. This was a very basic hotel and I did not have the best experience here and neither was I impressed. I was in another hotel by Wyndham in another town on Thanksgiving that was much better lower cost and was pleased with that experience more than this one. I will never stay here again and felt as if I was assigned to that room because of who I am. I found smearing on my pillows, stained from one of the last guest. The room is not clean thoroughly and was very disappointing.

Beds were hard as a rock! I could barely walk when i got up. Hallways and elevator smells like mold. The only highlight of me and my family’s stay was the coffee in the morning. Would not recommend. Mattresses are on metal frame and platform no box spring FYI

It was awful. There were spots of dog poop all over the room. It was like the dog or someone stepped in poop and then walked everywhere. They probably would have changed our room, but my husband chose to clean the floor ourselves because then we knew it was clean. Because if they didn't clean the floor in this room, chances are the other rooms might not be clean either. Girl at the front desk was very nice about it and was going to talk to the manager, but we never heard anymore about it. We still had to pay the pet fee, but they obviously do not clean the rooms any better after pets were there.

This hotel was booked for family members who live locally. The hotel charges an large deposit if your driver's license shows a zip within 50 miles. Why would you charge locals this amount for a deposit? Is this the standard practice for a hotel to change the cost of the deposit depending on where you are from?

we did not have the best experience when we checked in. It seemed very much like they were confused struggle to find our reservation when they did we got charged twice, which had to be adjusted. Had to ask for towels multiple times room service was not offered and our room was not service the entire time we were there, also throughout the entire hotel, the smell of drug paraphernalia was throughout the pool area and the entire lobby even when brought to their attention they were very less than attentive

Access wasn't really clear, but once I got there it made sense. The property is directly behind another motel chain, and there's not a direct access off the highway. You literally go through the other motel's driveway to get to the LaQuinta Inn. Great place though!

When I got to the hotel it was less the. Desirable the out side and the lobby was definitely outdated and needs a facelift and a good cleaning! The room was decent I was only there for nine night it did the job bed was hard and I did t sleep well they did have cute toiletries mini Dove products which made my stay a bit better I’m a woman that loves aroma therapy overall the room was clean as well as the sheets

Room smelled of wet dog with broken down beds. Breakfast was horrible, inmates get better food than that.

When booking this reservation, I thought it was beach access. Howeever, the beach is 1.9 miles away. Not far but not what I wanted.

Cleansing so so. Breakfast same every day. Biggest issue was people vaping marijuana in rooms. Our floor reaked of pot.

We liked how it was close to everything. But when you see a large roach in the bathroom on the counter it’s like I’m not staying someplace cheap. We called the front desk they told us what the bug was and offered to move our rooms. Also the desk chair that was in our room kept flaking its fake leather skin, it was all over the place. Breakfast was okay was not the best hotel free breakfast the syrup kept running out for waffles ppl getting more than they need just because they think they could, juice watered down. Pool was okay not enough tables with umbrellas there was one. 4 chairs and 6 lounging chairs. I’m not sure my children our service dog will be back.

The staff was wonderful. The room was dirty trying to get breakfast in the morning was a complete joke no staff in the area to make sure things were moving people screaming up and down the hallways till 12 o’clock at night people in the pool till 1130 at night, screaming no one told them to be quiet
