    I booked this hotel as a last minute getaway for my birthday weekend and my birthday gift( sunglasses) were stolen in a matter of minutes during the checkout process. I placed my sunglasses on the counter in the hallway because I was going back and forth carrying luggage’s with a child. When I went back to the room for the second time, a male housekeeper was already in the room cleaning, and noticed my sunglasses were gone from the counter. I told him I have pictures of me with the sunglasses and receipt to please return it back to me because it was a birthday gift. He tried to act like he could not talk and refused to tell me his name. The front desk staff also refused to give me his because they stated he was their supervisor over the weekend. I left my information for the real supervisor that works Monday to Friday to contact me back.

    We didn’t get the rom that was advertised by Expedia. Only 1 elevator worked for 16 floors. The sauna water outside was brown. We needed a full kitchen but got a hot plate instead. Nice area, great price, would stay again.

    I enjoyed the location and access to beach They did not offer mini conditioner , only shampoo. Coffee filter was not enough to accommodate 4 cups of coffee, I’d recommend a public, coffee machine with cream and sugar for everyone downstairs. There were no sponges to clean the dishes.

    Are breakfast for the 1st time in their restaurant for the 1st time of many stays and it was very tasty. Workers in the restaurant could have been nicer!! Grounds outside were very well kept up. Appreciated I guess security letting their presence be seen!!!! We never needed him but made me feel safer seeing him there. Also really appreciated him letting us all know when a storm was coming. Love the availability to many restaurants. Unless I switch beaches I don’t see me staying any where else.

    Room 1412 was absolutely horrible! The room was damp our entire stay so much so,the floors were wet and slippery, the wood panels and baseboards were separating from the walls, the ceiling in and around the bathtub/shower was leaking in the bathroom and all of our bed linen and clothes were damp to touch everyday. We have stayed at this property for many years and this was the absolute worst stay ever. We will not be returning to this property.

    The staff are very very rude. The bathroom sink was leaking so they changed the room for us and the second room they gave us the ceiling was leaking. No towels no room service. And there was no ice in the fridge of the second room I asked the receptionist to send some ice in a bucket she told me to go buy a 7lb ice pack and I don’t need 7lb of ice for a 3 night hotel. The manager was also very rude their attitude was not very nice. The cups and plates in the rooms were dirty. They only provide you with a small pack of coffee and you can’t get more and that pack for only 2 cups of coffee for a room of 6. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had and I would never book with Expedia ever again because of how bad management is.

    I’ve been here about 10 years ago, I came back thinking it’s still the same but everything actually changed. Customer service is really bad, everyone that we talked to had an attitude. The rooms are okay except you can call 10 times for extra towels or anything g really but you’ll never get it. My biggest complaint is the smell of the beddings and pillows, THEY STUNK, smelled like urine. Just bad experience all the way around. I’m not even a complainer but this wasn’t the best

    Views were good. Arrived in room. Sliding glass doors wide open . Sign there saying doors closed at all times. Floor filthy. Feet black from it. Traveled 13 hrs in car to arrive at 830 pm. Got to room to relax. No towels in room. Had to go back down to front desk. Housekeeping gone for night. Couldn't find remote for tv in bedroom. Next morning husband found it under the bed.     The staff were friendly and willing to help..the buffet breakfast was average at best but the bar grill had very good hamburgers. Our mattress was soft and parking is tight other then handicapped parking...charge of 12.00 per day for parking in their garage( not for H/C) which is crazy...all rooms/suites open to the outside which is a pain in cold/wet weather..

    Hotel has a lot of traffic in and out and is pretty noisy. Couldn’t sleep one night for people screaming and running up and down areas outside hotel door. Room cleanliness wasn’t what I expected. A deep cleaning was needed. Lots of people there smoking marijuana. Marijuana smoke was a common theme in elevators and about property. Wouldn’t stay there again.

    We had our Spring Break 2026 in this resort. We used a 2-bedroom suite for my family of 4. The living area and kitchen were nice and clean. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable with good storage for cloths. The master bedroom had a sliding glass door to the balcony which was facing the ocean. We loved the view we had of the beach. We had a great time in the pool.

    Horrible customer service at check in… a cigarette Slim, Jim rappers, and what looks to be weave floating in the pools and hot tub tubs… we stayed an extra day after a cheer competition in hopes to enjoy the area. We literally had to leave because the restaurant in the hotel and arcade was closed on a Monday at a resort. There’s no room service no house cleaners ( not saying we need a made just normally when we stay in South Carolina for cheer competitions at a resort someone comes in to tidy up and give us new towels without asking) this place was just NOT it and sooooo disappointing. We have 4 kids, a family of 6.. so when we travel for sports for our kids, we like to make the most of it we did not have a good experience at all

    Negative things about the room that needs maintainence attention is, the dining room chair the rods are out of the legs, the table was so wobbly you couldn't use it. The refrigerator was leaking, the lamp in the bedroom doesn't work. I'm not sure how the resort got a 9.0 rating. I did not notify maintenance of these things on site, didn't want to be bothered with them working on things. My question to you Expedia do hotels have set rooms that are for Expedia customers that are not top rate. This is my thought process for trip. The resort is large and beautiful with lots of things to do.

    Additionally, parts of the property were under construction, which made the overall environment feel messy and unkempt. Adjustments for elevator use due to construction were inconvenient, and some staff members were noticeably rude when we asked for assistance. Throughout our stay, we encountered several unfriendly employees. One particularly frustrating incident involved a security guard who ignored us when we were locked out. While a few staff members—such as those at the café—were kind and helpful, many others seemed disengaged and uninterested in providing a positive guest experience. Maintenance was also an issue. The trash containers in the arcade overflowed for days without being emptied. Our room felt outdated, the phones didn’t appear to be functional, and the bedroom TV was not a smart TV and lacked any connected services. Overall, this property has potential to be a great family destination with better upkeep and customer service. However, given the price, our experience did not meet expectations and did not feel worth the cost.

    Nice clean room, well appointed, beautiful ocean view. Overall property fair cond. there are signs of deferred maintenance.. fogged windows, peeling paint, cracked/chipped concrete inside & out. I was looking closely because I am considering buying a unit. They were in the middle of renovating part of the lobby, which is good.

    The hotel was under construction which was one mess. The areas not under construction were also very dirty, including the room we rendered. The bath tubs had not been washed and the floors were dirty. The staff did not speak English well. They also charge for parking $12 a day (note optional) and insurance $50 non refundable or $250 refunded a day after check out. It was over all just really bad and very expensive. We came very close to leaving hours after arrival. Terrible experience.

    I liked that we were close to the beach. I didn't like the $128 property tax we weren't told about until we had already booked the room. The popcorn ceiling was losing its popcorn all over the room and left white powder everywhere. The vent in the bathroom had what appeared to be black mold on it. Asked for towels half way through our stay and never did receive them. Had to pay for parking which was another $36. Room was old and outdated with stains on the furniture and really needed attention. We won't be staying there again. Has to be better places to stay along the beach.

    I am writing to express my deep disappointment with my recent stay at your property. Unfortunately, the experience fell far below my expectations, and I feel compelled to bring these issues to your attention. • The check-in process was extremely slow and unorganized, with long waiting times. • Basic amenities such as towels and tissues were not readily available and had to be requested. • Despite my prior request for a thoroughly cleaned room, the condition of the room was unacceptable: dust everywhere, poor overall cleanliness, and even drainage problems where water pooled around my ankles while showering. • The carpet in the bedroom emitted an unpleasant odor, the in-room safe was broken, and the sofa bed was in such poor condition that my husband developed back pain after sleeping on it. • To make matters worse, the property charged a $12 per day parking fee, which had never been charged before and was not communicated in advance. I have been a loyal guest at Beach Cove for many summers, always choosing your property for our family vacations. However, this time I was shocked and disappointed by the decline in standards. I no longer feel confident recommending Beach Cove to anyone, and unless these issues are addressed seriously, I will not be returning.     Popcorn ceiling falling on my face all night as I attempted to sleep. Overall condition of property is in poor shape. Front counter folks could use some training on how to be friendly. Would not suggest this property to anyone. Did not stay the second night, got on the road after a business dinner at 9:00 pm and arrived home around 1:30 am.

    Outside area beautiful however the hotel rooms were in poor condition we had our balcony handle fall off and maintenance never came to fix it waited till we left to go home to fix. Loved the view however wouldn’t stay again

    The tv remotes did not work and I called the desk for service and was told maintenance would come fix it. The next day I reported that the ceiling was crumbling off onto the floor/bed in the room and was told maintenance would come clean up. My room was never checked on or cleaned up the whole two days of my stay. Very unhappy with my booking.

    Loved the place but the check-in was awful. It took over an hour because they couldn’t find our booking, then found the email but not the actual stay so the customer service person only activated our cards and parking pass for one night and made us come back to the desk for the additional night the next morning. It was a hassle and should’ve been much easier. Also, the parking is terrible.

    The rooms have two beds in them, but they are smaller than queen size though they are advertised as queen beds. We did not have hot water in the bathroom shower. We were surprised that unless you ask for housekeeping, they don’t come to take out your trash or give you new towels. We stayed four days and had to call for housekeeping while we were there, but wish the hotel staff did more themselves in the housekeeping area so that it could feel more like of a vacation instead of us having to clean each day ourselves to keep the area tidy.

    This property missing a great location but the rooms need some major updates. Upon our arrival, the staff indicated that Expedia had overbooked and they did not have a 2-bedroom available (we have two teenagers) so they put us in a smaller 1 bedroom. The ceilings were low and it felt cramped. (I am 5’2” but my boys and husband are taller, closer to 5’10”. Also my youngest son got locked into the bathroom and when maintenance came to get him out he said the door was broken. We had to move all our things from 1 room to the next room the next day and we were only there for three nights so very inconvenient. Expedia did refund us o ly $200 which I don’t think was fair given all the things that happened.

    Overall decent stay. When we went down to eat the lady at the bar kinda acted like she didn't want to deal with us. She stared blankly while we ordered, never greeted, never smiled. Didnt even have anything to write the order down on. But that was the worst part of the trip so I'd say it all went pretty well.

    Old unit. Very dated. Old wood television holder from the 80s with no tv in it in the bedroom. Shower barely worked then finally stopped working altogether. False fire alarm at 3 am, went on for an hour. Could not check in til almost 5pm and the dump was not busy. Its a dump. And not cheap. Go elsewhere. Its a dump.

    Not clean at alll !!! Especially the 11th floor. I booked for 3 days!!! And left during the night at 12:30 am ! The staff was great BUT the conditions is terrible !! BED BUGS all over beds and head board !!!! Nasty !! Me and my boyfriend had to check into a hotel and it ruined our weekend vacation.. I was refunded my money but still it won’t help the itching from these BITES on my arm and side !!.. normally I don’t write reviews but if this is what it takes for them to fumigate the entire building so be it. If you’re going to come here just double check the beds!

    Pools were clean and warm, the bar girl was awesome, ocean is close and theres a spot to wash you feet off when you get back to the reaort. Barefoot Landing is within walking distance with lots of restaurants and stores. All atound we had an amazing time

    This place is so clean, friendly staff and lots to do for the kids. I have no complaints and this is where I will always stay because it has the conscience of home. Shopping at the Tanger Outlets is right down the street with the Board Walk Pavillon about 14 minutes away for more shopping, restaurants & a ton rides for the kids. Thank you Myrtle Beach for being the best place to relax with fun N the Sun & thank you Beach Cove Resort for being top notch N my book. Wilson Family from Dallas, NC

    Great spacious room, almost like a small condo. Would have been wonderful for a week long stay if I had had more time. TVs were frustrating and the fitness centre tv didn’t really work at all. The fitness centre also only had one cable machine and no free weights. Great view though.

    Overall stay was good. My grandson is 12 and was upset that the sheets for the pull out sofa had spots on it, like stains from food or blood not sure. I feel like a good inspection over sheets is needed. Bathroom ceiling over shower needs repairs. Other that that my family enjoyed the stay. We will be back!

    Nice resort. Room was nice and clean. I didn’t like the check in prices. I booked on Expedia for $169. Then when I got to the hotel they added extra charges for resort, taxes and stated either $250 deposit or $39 non refundable. Did the non refundable. When I got finish my 1 night stay was over $300.

    We checked in very late and the beds were terrible! My hips hurt from the very shaky mattress that felt more like a box spring. There was a roach that had gotten stuck in the paint as he was walking across the wall, so he was there to let me know they have roaches and the room did not look like the pictures. Everything in the room was dated, including the appliances. They also advertise that they have hairdryers and toiletries but I have seen better in a Holiday Inn Express. They were very kind at the front desk and explained that there are different owners for some of the rooms so she was able to switch us to a room with the same layout and beds that were a little better but she couldn’t switch the room type. The water pressure was terrible. The restaurant was awesome though and reasonably priced. Somehow, my name was shared with someone who called me and invited me to what I thought was a customer appreciation luncheon at the Four Seasons down the road. If this happens to you don’t go! They’re trying to grift you for thousands of dollars! Not for a timeshare, for supposed discounts on stays everywhere! Beware of a call from Shannon, Angie, or Lisa!

    This property was NOTHING like it was advertised. Advertised as a resort, was individual condos. Our room had significant water damage, had a pair of men’s pants on the floor, we were charged an early check-in fee despite the room being ready. We checked out immediately and got a hotel. Hey Expedia, if you want to keep my business contact me about refunding our money. I cannot find anything on your platform on how to reach you. I am so tired of apps/services like yours as I can’t speak to a human when issues arise. I’M DONE WITH EXPEDIA.

    There were places in the unit that needed attention; loose ceiling tiles in the bathroom, exposed drywall framing in the bedroom, dead batteries to accent lights in the main sitting area, and tv remotes that appear to be marginally functional. The microwave door doesn’t open very far due to the adjacent fridge being too wide. The hot tub could have been less dirty. And the left side vanity ledge in the bathroom was sloped downward, so items placed there would easily fall off. But the staff were nice/helpful and overall it was a pleasant experience. I will say, the security hold went up $50 from when I booked the room (rather than $200, it was $250). And even though they waved the $10/night parking fee, when I complained that terms seemed to have changed since I booked, if I pay several hundred bucks to stay at your hotel, why is there even a parking fee to begin with?

    We loved the layout of the unit (#1005), and the view was amazing!! There were some missing items like no oven mits and the tiled ceilings in the bathrooms were very dirty. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, it was quiet, most of the staff was very friendly, the amenities there was excellent and the location was perfect

    The Reception staff were not too friendly specially since this was our first time here. You would think they would want to give a good welcome to guest. the overall staff seems to be short. We tried to patronize the restaurant, on a Saturday lunch hour, they have only one staff to serve, bar is closed and it’s college football games ON. TVs were not even on for the games. Took forever for the food. Sunday night, a noise like someone was building something cause we could heard nails or screws dropping, banging and moving around until 11:30 pm. Reported to front desk but all they said was that ‘they found no source where it was coming from’ but it did stop after we complained. So it appeared that they knew what’s going on. The next morning, same noises was happening by 9am. Our unit was great even though it does need some attention.

    My husband and I arrived earlier than expected and we were able to check in early. The staff was super nice and always cordial. The day we arrived, we got married on the beach. Everyone we met shared in our happiness and made our day extra special. We definitely will be back.

    The pool amenities & location was why I stayed here because we were a family with kids. We were in room 724 which was mediocre had a small continuous leak on bathroom floor from a closet the whole time. No bugs or roaches in room so at least it was clean, just a little run down. Pool amenities were exceptional, kids loved it. Access to beach had 3 locations except 1 shower far left looking from beach never worked. Staff at front desk is not very helpful from the start didn't even explain how to go from parking garage to room or where to unload after asking 3x plus $10/day parking. Luggage carts sometimes impossible to find like 1 day when we came back from getting groceries. Security just sitting there at side desk all the time on phone doing nothing & no front desk or other staff wasn't any help to find any. The other guests were more help than them. 1 day water was out half the day. Last day the maintenance comes fixes the leak in bathroom interrupts us trying to use bathroom, shower & get checked out. Housecleaning staff very nice & maintenance but Security & front desk sucked. So there were good & bad here like most places. Place needs to work on updating rest of place, don't charge to park especially in your crappy parking garage, some staff should be more helpful & fix that beach to pool shower. Take notes staff & guests.

    I was disappointed that the ramp from the 3rd floor parking deck to the building has been removed. In the past we tried to park on the floor and use the ramp to go to the building. It seemed to be much faster than going thru the lobby.

    I loved the hotel, but there were steps in our room and I cannot use steps very easily because of my knee problems. I had to stay in the bedroom the whole trip. I think they should advertise if they have rooms with steps.

    From the moment walked in I was greeted and taken care of and the staff was super friendly . room was good and had great views. It was aged but the room was clean and had everything we needed. When I say aged just the beds need to be replaced with newer ones I’m a big guy and although I slept ok I was sore in the morning. Great dining and shopping close by (Barefoot Landing) . I will definitely stay again for my late summer trips .

    The condo had very dingy furniture. I cleaned everything upon arrival. I was getting ready for bed and the bedding was stained and I found drops of blood on the bed. Manager claimed she would look into it and contact me but never did. Room 1603C

    I would say they need to rethink the bar hours. The inside bar did not open/serve alcohol until 4:00 pm!....WTH? the only place to get a drink was the outside bar..... and it was closed ON LABOR DAY!! It was a holiday and you could not get a drink anywhere.

    This was our first time at Beach Cove, and it definitely won’t be the last. What an absolutely wonderful place to stay. From multiple pools and multiple hot tubs to a lazy river and then easy access to the beach. What more can you ask for. Wonderful for kids as they had a great time and tons of dining options and shopping options. Will definitely return.

    My experience wasn’t top notch unfortunately. We first got to the room and it was clean except the bathroom. The far left sink had dark mold under and around the lip of the sink Ana the toilet seat had some sort of residue on it. Unfortunately I didn’t think to take pictures of the issues. Also there were 2 domestic disputes on the property by the pool area. Not impressive. The whole surrounding area outside the hotel, smelt like sewage as well as the water if you were to drink it. Not sure what that was about. Overall the service was good and condos were nice, but I don’t think I’ll come back.

    The only reason 2 starts was for the 8 ft pool that my kids were happy about. The rooms are so smelly, outdated, moldy and just dirty everywhere. It needs some deep cleaning!!! Our bathroom door didn't close all the way and the sofa bed was so nasty and dirty mattress and the foam topper was ripped and in holes just falling apart!!

    Great experience overall. Beds are comfortable, plenty of room in the 2 bedroom condos, seating is abundant, games available for kids in the cabinets (I’m sure this varies with which condo you stay in), beautiful view from the room, staff are all nice and helpful. Only issue was they kind of rush to check out but I know they are busy. Lazy river back open as of 8/21! All pools available and were well kept. Maintenance crews even nice! Wonderful weather this time and an all around good experience.

    From the outside looks great. 20yrs ago it was probably really nice, but now it just seems to have not been maintained at all. Kind of dumpy! Broken shower, broken deck door, standing pools of water everywhere in the outdoor hallways. No ice machine available, but you can buy ice for $4? Come on!
