Nice hotel

The pictures make the hotel look like a 4 star hotel. Just remember, it's a Best Western. Wear and tear everywhere just like any other hotel in that class. It was clean and sufficient. BUT: they need to figure out a solution to the flooding of the front and side parking lots. Had to wade through shin high waters to get in and out of car. Miami's flooding is not going to change. What will the hotel do to mitigate it for guests?

No breakfast available. You had to request to have your room cleaned. I stayed for 4 days, why should I request to have my room serviced?

Best Western is a very nice hotel. The staff was professional friendly, and accommodating. The rooms are clean, they looked newly renovated. Our rooms also had a nice size balcony overlooking the pool area. The hotel had a decent size gym, laundry room a café area where you could get free coffee, tea, or hot chocolate throughout your stay. Breakfast and dinner at the steakhouse adjoining the hotel was excellent. I would definitely go back the next time. I’m in Miami.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Best Western Plus North Miami/Bal Harbour. The hotel was very clean, peaceful, and comfortable. The gentleman at the front desk was absolutely stellar — professional, kind, welcoming, and very helpful throughout my stay. Excellent customer service really makes a difference, and he made me feel valued as a guest. I would definitely stay here again!

Very convenient location and close to beaches and restaurants.

I'm just sorry that I couldn't stay longer at the Best Western Plus North Miami/Bal Harbor. The property was conveniently located near a Whole Foods Market, a pharmacy and Denny's, and an interesting array of chickens and ducks lived nearby. The outdoor pool was very inviting, and I enjoyed using the fitness center. I definitely plan to return the next time I visit Miami!

nice clean property and overall superb, helpful staff - they kept our room for us even though we didn’t arrive until after 12:30 am. Only mild down note, got scolded by a maid for taking two toilet papers and coffee from her cart that was in front of our room and she wasn’t around, even after I explained there were three of us in the room.

Whenever we need to travel to Miami for family events/visits, we stay at the Best Western in North Miami Beach. The staff is friendly, helpful, professional. Lot of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Very convenient and great rate.

It was in a central location from the venue. The staff was nice, our room was clean, the pool was clean. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 -star is because housekeeping doesn’t automatically clean, you have to request it.

The woman at checkin was barely audible and refused to speak louder. The balcony door wouldn't open and it took 2 asks and 2 days for someone to come fix it. After using the toilet on Day 2, I discovered there was no water so I could not flush or wash my hands. It seems like I was the first person to flag this. I asked for someone to come check the tap and the toilet. No one did. When I returned a few hours later, the 'solids' had settled and the toilet wasn't flushing them away. I called to get help and was told there was no plumber available but they had a plunger at the front desk if I wanted to come and get it myself. Needless to say, I will actively discouraging people from staying here.

Close to many shops, restaurants and fast food with some being just across the street. FREE parking was great. Sonia the housekeeper was very nice.

The staff was great. The room was clean and comfortable. However, there were some questionable characters parked in the hotel lot. A scary looking man and woman apparently living out of their pot smelling car right in the parking lot. They were there the whole time we stayed.

There's no water bottles or breakfast served at hotel. there is one coffee machine in the lobby and that's it. rooms are not in very good shape, ceiling in bathroom is peeling off and other items in the bathroom are barley hanging on the wall. Cleaning staff is loud and you can hear their conversations in the hallways through out the day and early morning. Noise isolation in the room is poor.

Everything was old. The only thing that was renovated was the lobby and the bathroom down in the lobby. Hot water did not run and it was roaches in our bathroom. Every time we wake up it’s like a red roof in hotel experience will not book again.

Always very clean, spacious rooms . The bedding and towels are sparkling white ( not off white or yellowish. Air conditioner works well resulting in cool comfort.

The room felt humid throughout the entire stay, and the street noise—especially the constant car honking—was quite loud. The beds are full-size, and while the listing says the room accommodates four adults, that felt like a bit of a stretch. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning the room each day.

Overall clean place but we didn’t have a remote control and we had to call twice just for staff to tell us we had to go downstairs to pick it up. We also requested new towels but took them two days to bring them.

I usually love best western hotels. This one unfortunately is the worst I stayed at. The girls at the front desk were really not nice. The beds were really small, there is no room cleaning services unless you ask for it and no one tells you you should ask for it.

I’m sorry, but the quality of this hotel is terrible. There’s mold in the shower. The carpets are in very poor condition. It needs renovation. It smells very bad. Definitely not worth $180.

Overall this hotel is pretty good. It’s your standard Best Western. We chose it for $150 as we were passing through. The room was clean and they have a gated parking area. The location is ok. It’s a bit out of the way to get to 95 or the Turnpike. Also it’s noisy outside on the morning around 7:30-8:00. Not bad, just don’t expect anything upscale.

The staff were absolutely polite and courteous. The room was very clean and the beds were perfect and soft. I had a great nights sleep highly recommended

The hotel is in urgent need of renovation. In addition, it is located in a very noisy area, and the rooms lack proper soundproofing. However, the staff is always very attentive and friendly. The hotel is also situated in an area with plenty of essential services.

Every other person we came across was pleasant and helpful. Including housekeeping people. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Our requests were met with willingness. There is a Whole Foods next door. A Starbucks in walking distance. A Walgreens across the street. All in all a place we will stay again if we were in the area.

Every staff member I encountered was friendly, attentive and ready to solve any problem. The restaurant is a hidden gem. The proximity of Whole Foods, Walgreens and TJ Maxx were helpful. The gym, while small, was more well equipped. Be warned -/ the hotel is near a loud thoroughfare and you can hear muscle cars all night. But that’s not the hotel’s fault!

Kind of a dump really. We are renovating our condo in Aventura and also came down for the CFP championship game, decided to stay here. First room was kind of beat up, the toilet flush handle was wonky, the toilet didn’t flush great, the faucet was either on or off and for the first two nights, we kept hearing this techno music beat outside the room. Fortunately, I elected to change rooms to go to the other side of the hotel and get a higher floor and the front desk attendant was very courteous and took care of the switch right away for us. The only issue is that the rooms on the pool side of the hotel are two double beds only and the king bed rooms are on the noisy side of the hotel. Don’t think we will stay here again, hopefully won’t need to anyways.

The room was clean and fine, however, I can hear high base music until past midnight. I am not sure if it was someone at the hotel or coming from the outside. The music picked back up around 8 am.

This visit was good it’s just the parking lot was full of cute duck families, however a big one Was on my car and didn’t want to get off.

Our 5-night stay was just average. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was noisy with outdoor traffic and music which made it impossible to get a good night rest. The hotel is old and in need of some timely update.

We had one night stay at the hotel. Overall It was fine. Staffs were nice, room was clean. The location is pretty convenient. The Only thing was that my room was facing the elevator. Every time there was a person getting out of the it, there's an alert voice reminding "wait" or "first floor". Can't remember the exact word, but it was very annoying during my night sleep, waking me up many times.

Check in was a nightmare. Waited over 20 minutes. Someone cut in line. No acknowledgement. Waiting while people are calling to see why card is declined instead of anowledging us and asking if they could step aside to then help the people in line. Took us 2 minutes to check in. Asked if we wanted housekeeping the next day, said yes and they rolled their eyes! Then housekeeping never came. Room was dirty upon checking in. It was such a nightmare overall.

The room hasn't got any close4. We were a family of 4 and that was a problem that couldn't be solved.

My room stank of urine, but the staff were apologetic and I got a new room - but the bathroom light flickered, the AC rattled, and the general look and smell of the room was not pleasant.

I've stayed at several Best Western Plus hotels before, and they were all excellent, but this one was bad. The bathroom toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned; the employee said it was just a stain at the bottom. The floor was stained, the shower water was only lukewarm on a winter night. The carpet looked dirty and had a strong odor. The air conditioner was an old machine that made noise all night. I had to keep it turned off at night. The staff didn't seem to have much experience in dealing with and resolving problems. It's a shame, because I had spoken so highly of the hotel chain to my companions. It was a disappointment.

Very low cost for a great, central location. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, sheets and pillows. AC will freeze you out of the place. Gym is small but nice equipment and very basic but nice, clean pool. Also... VERY convenient, large parking lot (so no paying extra for parking!). Fresh Market 30 second walk away. For a "budget hotel" this place was awesome. I grew up in the area and came back for a low cost visit. Perfect!

Staff was amazing Bryan was the best. I forgot the woman’s name but when I checked in she was so sweet we had a wonderful conversation made me feel so much better she works nights and she has blonde hair I overly love her she makes me want to come back and stay again.

This is an amazing hotel. Consistently clean and front desk staff always welcoming. I have been staying here every time I visit North Miami for many years. On this stay I had dealings with Ishmael, Rex, Anastasia and Cassie. All exceptionally friendly and helpful. The mall across the street is a plus as well.

There was a car don't know if it was an employee. But the car was parked on the north side of the building and blared music till midnight every night I was there.

Unfortunately the bathtub was dirty your carpet was real sticky. The stop was very friendly and helpful they moved me to another room it was not high class place but the beds were firm the AC worked

I took the option to not have our room cleaned when I checked in on 2 night stay. Our second day the tile entry flour was mopped without telling us. The wet floor caused me to slip and fall. Fortunately, I was not seriously injured. I reported the incident after it occurred but the hotel later said that no one from their staff had entered the room. Needless to say, but we won’t be staying at a Best Western in the future.

This is our "Go To" hotel when we visit my parents in North Miami Beach. Hotel is always clean, staff is always friendly/professional and not at the outrageous beach hotel prices. Lots of dining/shopping options within walking distance.

My family and I stayed at this hotel during a water shutoff at our home. Our stay was affordable and comfortable. We always stay here when work is being done at our house.

My party arrived at this hotel and there was no reservation despite booking one through Expedia. At the moment this location is refusing a refund despite purchasing travel protection. My guests were denied a room.

The Room 421’s door won’t open in first attempt, it needs to be looked at. There was a long hair in the bathtub, I am buzz cut and I was single guest. Staff were professional and polite.
