So, I used my mobile hotspot. Not a major issue but enigmatic.

Sketch area. Tons of homeless pushing their carts up and down the street in front of hotel. Clerk is behind bullet proof glass. You can see a huge lobby- all behind glass like a weird museum. You're confronted with signage taped to the glass telling you everything you don't get and aren't allowed to do. If you pre-paid via Expedia or hotel.com, they rudely tell you you must pay a $30 cash deposit or no room. Pet deposit quoted 10 per pet online- they charged $12.50 per pet. Oh we made the mistake of showing up early - $10 early check in fee. Finally got to the room - it seemed ok until I had been walking around barefoot on carpet for awhile- my feel were absolutely black. Had to have an inspection to get our $30 back. Would not go back, would not recommend.

Not the best area by any means, across the street is the local rest/hangout spot for addicts, homeless, and lot lizards. With that being said the owner of this hotel doesn’t miss a beat & doesn’t tolerate shenanigans on his property. so overall I felt safe. Hotel is pretty out of date but kept up 100% and very clean. My room did have a fridge and microwave and a blow dryer. I travel for work and out of the blue with no notice I can get a call to relocate and it being my second time staying at this hotel I prefer paying by the week for saving money and the owner will not budge when it comes to a refund even if you cannot complete your stay so that is a con for me and I will be choosing a different hotel upon my return to Little Rock. The nightly rate is average for the city and other hotels will accommodate rather than keeping your money for services you will not fulfill as long as you didn’t cause any damage or something of negligence.

Property is pet friendly. It is $20 a night for pets. Parking was easy and right outside the door. The room was clean and stocked with everything. The staff was nice and made sure I had clean towels every day and toiletries.

Property was secure the staff was respectful and the rooms were fresh and clean. And I would recommend family and friends to stay at your hotel. Thank you very much 😊

The room was clean, the bed wasn't the worst, firm, but not hard. While my husband and I are tall people (6'2" & 5'11"), this shower is literally for those 5'3" and under. The water pressure is good and the water is hot, so those semi made us for the short shower head. Check in and out was smooth. For the price, it was much better than expected!

The best way to describe this establishment is IF A SPEED TRAP WAS A MOTEL. This is a very suspect business, demanding deposits only in cash and having multiple gotcha-type policies where they can scam you out of your deposit. When is the last time you were required to pay a cash deposit and had your credit card photocopied front and back and "kept on file." Believe me I'm going to be watching my account VERY closely over the next few months. And there is only one checkout time where you can get your cash deposit back. You are ONLY allowed to check out at 9am or they will try and keep your deposit from you. I talked to the lobby attendant ahead of time that I was leaving very early in the morning to catch a flight and he lied to me and told me he would leave a note for the overnight guy to refund my deposit. Of course the overnight guy said "I don't give back deposits. You have to be here at 9am to get your deposit back." When's the last time a hotel TOLD YOU when you had to checkout?! There is no way all of these 10/10 amazing reviews are real. This place is very shady and seedy at best. When I pointed out their unscrupulous business practices, the owner cussed me out, called me the B word multiple times, dropped multiple F-bombs, and told me to never F-ing come back. I never used vulgarity directed at him. He's a very unhappy man. If you've read his responses to critical reviews, you'll know what to expect here.

They didn't refund my money or give me into another room because I was washing out some socks in the sink and during the course of that the sink just fell through the counter top and hit the floor and the pipes were all rusted they refused to refund me my money or give me another room I will not be visiting them again it's a terrible place and I was charged too much even by hotels.com so I will be contacting your customer service immediately for a refund. all rusted and and they chew chose not to

We got in late and crashed. It was fine for that, and inexpensive. It’s a motel, with room entrances from the parking lot. No lobby.

The owners are extremely rude and even though i paid for my dog this became an issue which resulted in me having to leave early. Sink and shower water look like piss and ceiling in bathroom leaked on my head when upstairs started tak I ng a shower while i was soaking in tub.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff (the one guy at the reception desk) was helpful and courteous. We were stopping for one night on a long drive from Texas to Kentucky, and it was a perfect place for that.

That was terrible, the manager is rude and not customers friendly. Ac is not working, heater is not working either. Worst place ever!

If you are on a long drive and needed a place to sleep overnight, this is conveniently located off the highway. The room is clean, comfy and has the basic amenities you will need. Some reviews say the area doesn't feel safe, it may feel sketchy but the attendant assured me it is a safe space to stay. And it is true.

Love the place only thing is that people were partying by my door. Then on the morning trash was left under my vehicle. I just pushed it to the side. Never touch peoples stuff you never know.

Negative: internet, room phone and ice machine were not working. Ceiling is low in the bathroom; I am 5'3" and could reach the ceiling when I was in the shower; anyone over 6' would hit their head. Front lobby is locked, and guests need to talk to a clerk who has a heavy accent through a portal that distorts speech. On my next trip, I'll stay at another hotel in NLR.

All was good. I had to check in earlier than expected, but they were cool about it.

It's a decent place, no breakfast but the room was comfortable! I slept very well here. It's right by the expressway and very convenient to drive around. Not too far from downtown.

Are surrounding property is quite run down. Check in through a glass window from the vestibule. Lobby locked out - no access.

I was disappointed that they charged me more money to have our toy poodle stay with us. It was advertised as pet friendly place. I felt they shouldn’t have charged me if they were pet friendly.

The owner was very friendly and accommodating, the room was extremely clean. It is an older building, but is neat and tidy. Good place to stay the night.

The property was sketch. I did not feel safe and the sheets had hair in them. We did not stay because we felt unsafe. We drove home at midnight!!

They require a $30 cash deposit at check in that cannot be returned until you have your room inspected at 9am. One man was just trying to leave after seeing his room, and they wouldn't give his $30 back. I offered to pay $30 for myself and the lady in the wheelchair in front of me who had no cash. What a total clusterfuck. I should have known at this price point, but I trusted the 7.8 rating on Travelocity????? Lesson learned. That being said, the young man at the desk was nice to me, but I was also the only client present that did not have minority status. I would definitely never stay here again.

I was initially frustrated that they charged an extra $23 for a pet fee, especially since I was coming in at 10pm. Most motels that call themselves pet friendly don't do that, but it was late so I paid it. I was pleasantly surprised by the room, it was very nice and exceeded expectations for an inexpensive room. However I would not be back because the total price wasn't worth it for me.

This is the worst place in America. I paid for a room that had a broken AC the toilet leaked on top of all that I had to leave a $20 deposit which the next day I didn't get back because I tried to say we broke all the stuff in the room even though I have multiple video recordings of me telling the night manager the issues with the room and him basically telling me to piss off that I needed to speak to the managers the next morning. He said that he can give us a different room that we should have came earlier even though there was absolutely no cars in the parking lot all night and plenty of rooms available. The manager for next they were nothing but rude and we're only willing to hear their own side. This is a slumlord the rooms are trash and so are the owners I would avoid it in any cost

Check in was quick and easy, and front desk agent was very kind and polite. The surroundings of the hotel looked a bit sketchy, but I didn’t experience any issues during my stay. The room looked and smell clean, and it had basic amenities like a microwave, a mini fridge and a TV. The bed seemed to be uneven in some parts, the comforter had some holes thats seemed to be from cigarette burns and some of the towels looked stained. I’m not super picky so this things didn’t bother me since I paid less than $60 for a night. Overall, I had a nice stay and would stay again.

The air didn't work correctly. My son who has autism has a full blown melt down due to having to leave the property to get cash for the deposit that I was not made aware of during booking and the was a lot of high speed cars through the parking lot all night as wee as some very unsavory activities

I spent the night on a business trip. Front desk person was friendly. The room was clean. The bathroom was clean. The bed was kind of uncomfortable but acceptable. Overall, I thought it was a very good deal for the price.

Pictures look better than place, actually is. Place rents by the week.... no breakfast because of Covid? Outdated. Comforters look like they came out of the 70s. Beds old. TV is about 25 inches. Only one for both beds. Room smelled. But what do you expect for 50 bucks.

The lobby is non-accessible, you check in through a small window, once getting to room 216, the toilet did not work, nor did the phone, had to request to move rooms, have heard police sirens at least 3 times in 5 hours.

Only significant complaint that I have is that I reserved a non-smoking room, but the room smelled of smoke and had an ashtray in it. Another small issue is that they ask for a $30 cash deposit in advance that they hold until the next day for potential damages. Although that is not much money, most people don't carry cash nowadays, and they should allow a small hold of $30 on a debit card.

Budget stay, quiet and calm, safe, no frills

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the environment was unwelcoming. The check-in process was difficult as we had to communicate through a thick glass partition in a cramped space. The area felt unsafe, and when we returned to our room, there were homeless individuals near our door, which made us feel very scared. It took the receptionist around 20 minutes to address the situation, and we were eventually moved to another room. However, the new room was dirty, with stained towels and insects present. Despite the reasonable cost, I don't recommend staying here. Paying a little more for a safer and cleaner place would be worth it.

The bedding had stains and the facecloths were dirty. These should be changed out. The Wi-Fi was very spotty and only worked sometimes. They should get this issue fixed with new modems. The price was cheap, but this hotel could do better. Also there is no lobby access. Simply a window behind glass so it felt very uninviting. It was a cheap one night stay.

Overall experience wasn't too bad. We were treated as if we were an inconvenience and that we really weren't welcomed to stay there. All the signs in the front lobby area were very off-I'll putting and not welcoming at all. On the contrary, like they didn't want anyone staying there at all

The room, it had a bed which led to the two star rating. It would’ve got 0 otherwise. The bathroom, the shower ceiling had been previously repaired. The “repair” was falling apart and there were chunks of tile falling through. It’s a disaster waiting to happen. Avoid this place and room 106 in particular.

I have stayed at this place locations several times and when I went to check in this time I thought it was awfully weird that now I had to have a cash deposit where before I've always used the same card as when I booked it online and give both people's name told him that my brother was going to be up there I had to leave for a little bit and that I had family probably coming over in the morning right before check out because we were going out to breakfast and he was like yeah yeah when I was checking in well the next morning I went to McDonald's with my sister and we came back up to my room woke up my brother start packing up stuff that front desk called at 10:30 said check out in half an hour and said sure no problem well exactly at 11:00 at checkout time they came barging in pretty much I did not give me my full deposit back though there was no damage it was only two of us that was there that was on the initial reservation that stayed overnight he said I had many people there or have I lied that I had more people there and I know I didn't and I said he only give me $25 back after the 30 okay I said I'll see you next time he said no you can post a liar you go check somewhere else and his wife for whoever the female housekeeper was they were in another room calling me a b word and that I messed up and that I and that is just so unprofessional I'm never had problems with them there before I will never ever recommend or stay at this place again ever

The guy in the office was very rude . I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay there at Travel Inn in North Little Rock. I didn’t appreciate that. My brother was on a walker & he didn’t care. He wasn’t showing any compassion. I appreciate the person that changed rooms with us. Also the lady that was working there was very helpful & I appreciate her too. Thanks so much. Your kindness won’t go unnoticed.

The property is ok for the price the main issue i had is they require a 30 dollar cash deposit and you can't get your deposit back before 9am. We tried checking out at 730 but had to hang around till 9 to get the cash back.

When we checked in, the clerk (who, by the way, was very hard to understand) told us that there is a $30 CASH deposit due. He said it was for damages and would be refunded after the room was inspected. He wouldn’t take a CC for this deposit. We checked in at 9PM and didn’t have $30 cash with us! It was very frustrating. He finally allowed us to go to our room without paying the deposit. Keep this in mind if you stay here- they don’t advertise this on the website, but there is a sign at the check in window. Other than that, the room was fine. The A/C worked great, the bed was comfortable , and the shower was hot!

I didn’t like that badge on tops of the shower, it had a leak and the toilet did not flush. I did report it to the staff the following morning
