Comfort Inn & Suites Near Universal - N. Hollywood - Burbank

The property is located on Lankershim Blvd near Oxnard Street, very close to the freeway and Universal Studios, and there are several places to eat like In N Out within walking distance or a short drive. There is a bathroom on the lobby and we liked the room freshener they use. Conditioning shampoo, body wash, and handsoap are provided in the room. There is a mini convenience store in the lobby to purchase toiletries, pain relievers, first aid, and other travel essentials. A small pool is also available to use located across from the lobby, at the entrance of the parking area.

We love everything about this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and well maintained, the furniture is great (lots of drawers, a desk and comfortable chair). The hot breakfast is delicious and well presented. This is our favorite place to stay in the Burbank/North Hollywood area.

Fast check in and check out. Perfect location: just 16-18 minutes away from Universal Studios. The supermarket is across the street. Very clean , the staff is friendly and nice. Very clean rooms. Comfortable mattress and pillows . No complaints. We enjoyed our stay here. Recommend to everyone.

Nice night in a clean, quiet room;

Breakfast was OK. Location was convenient to public transit. Hallways were noisy, and sometimes not the cleanest. Elevator was not conveniently located. Pool area was very disappointing.

We loved the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable and pretty large. We got a suite and a king room and they were both spotless. The breakfast in the morning was also excellent and convenient because I was traveling with myself and five teenagers and they can eat! Staff was extremely helpful when I ended up booking another room last minute. It was also super close to Universal Studios which was nice because it was easy to get to after a long day. We will definitely be staying there again for the next universal trip.

The room was clean and large. The buffet breakfast was useful. The items were limited, but still good. Parking was reasonably priced. The location allowed me to get around North Hollywood pretty easily (went to Universal & Warner Brothers Tours in less than 20 mins). The staff was also friendly. Lots of popular fast food chains nearby (McDonalds, Subway, Little Caesar, In and Out, etc. . .).

Stayed for 3 nights. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good. Room was clean. The only thing was one of the beds wsunk-in in the middle. Parking was covered and safe/19.00 per night. They had tandem parking, you would have to leave your car keys at the front desk so that they can move your car if you had a guest parked behind you. I would stay at this hotel again.

Very nice room had 2 queen bed and one king bed an to my surprise 2 bathrooms one in each room. Also loved that it had a mini microwave and a good size mini refrigerator. Would recommend and definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Entire property and room was very clean, staff extremely friendly and professional, every member was pleasant to interact with. Kitchen staff and cleaning crew also nice and friendly. Water pressure at the faucet and shower was great! Room had all the necessary amenities including fridge and microwave. Air conditioning and complimentary breakfast were also good, with the added bonus of proximity to Universal Studios. My family enjoyed the stay and we have no complaints. Would definitely comeback again, and also recommend to our friends and family!

The hotel is centrally located and easy access to the other areas and it’s close to Warner Brothers and Universal Studios if you are open to a studio tour or the fun the Universal Studios offers.

First our check in was great friendly staff she was awesome, we had a guest for couple of hours that drove 2hours to see us an the parking was no issue, the room clean super big the bathroom huge and spotless, beds clean and comfortable a/c, breakfast was delicious mini buffet from waffles to eggs to cereal fruit and more but all delicious and wonderful the staff so friendly and nice family of 4 with 2 toddlers we loved it and worth every penny we are definitely staying here again on our next trip to universal studios oh yeah it was a 8-9min drive to get there it was perfect 👌 and grocery store across the street & Starbucks near and this taco stand that’s right in front lol bomb tacos 😅… but definitely great stay (5⭐️)

The pool was very small but didn't take time go in it. Parking can be tricky, its tandem parking so if you park in front of someone you have to leave your keys with the desk and they will move your car. Neighborhood is a little sketchy. Free breakfast was decent.

Place was OK. Know that they have a small parking lot and parking is tandem. Hoped no one would block us in but we were anyway. Office staff came out right away and moved car though. Could've supplied more towels in room but we just needed a place to stay for one night, so it was what we needed. Wouldn't stay there again though.

Front desk staff was kind & friendly. Oh, yes, the pool is "indoor" ish and yes it's in the parking garage. I didn't get to utilize it but I saw people in it, it's open 8am to 8pm. There's only one elevator for the whole building but I almost never had to wait long for it, it's fast and felt safe. Rooms are not carpeted, I was on the 3rd (top) floor so I can't speak on hearing noise above me, but I could barely hear my neighbor. I also was a corner unit, so I only had one neighbor, maybe the front desk put me in the corner cuz I was there for a while and knew I was there for work, not touristy things and needed quiet rest time? Bed is comfy, pillow top mattress, five pillows for a king, but again, cuz I was there for so long, I brought my own cuz I'm a side sleeper and hotel pillows tend to be super soft. Free continental breakfast was decent. If I needed or had friends coming, I'd recommend it here. Lots of staff cleaning regularly.

Its a very small property and I was concerned when we pulled up, however I was happily surprised, we stayed in a family suite, it had 2 bedrooms; 1 with a king size bed, the other one with 2 full or queen size beds not sure cause they looked big. Both rooms had their own barthroom, which was a great surprise. Across the street is a Starbucks and a Supermarket. They have a simple but convenient continental breakfast included. Staff was nice. Parking a little weird when we arrived but it was fine. Rooms and property were clean. Bedding comfortable. Our rooms seemed like they had recently been renovated.

The sofa bed was terrible! We asked for them to fix it as the springs were popping out…but all they did was put a thin duvet on it. It was still terrible and nobody was able to sleep on it.

Air conditioner was noisy and the beds made a lot of noise when you move around or sit on it.

One lady handled everything including cleaning they should have two people doing this kind of job First night my TV did not work they fix it next day

AC was from another time and place but still kept the room clean (if a little loud too). Also, bathroom overhead fan and light had no switch and didn’t work.

We got there a bit later than check in but we had no problems. Enough parking for us. Hassle free check in too! Very easy to get to close to a lot of the activities around ie universal studios, wb and Nickelodeon. 2nd night was great too. Got back from our mini adventure and there was no parking. Front desk said that we can move the cones and park in one of those spots! We even forgot one of our bags after checkout and they were actively helping us with ease. Bag was found and we had a family member pick it up. Great service and the free breakfast was a must too!

I have stayed at this property twice. Staff is very friendly and professional. Parking is very convenient and free for wheelchair users ( I don’t know who else is included on free parking). Breakfast is included and includes hot items. They have many different combinations of beds settings to accommodate guests. I will certainly come back.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights and was very pleased with the experience. The room was clean with wooden flooring, which made it feel fresh and tidy. The bathroom had excellent water pressure in the shower, which was a big plus. They also offered complimentary breakfast, which was quite good. The location is very convenient, making it easy to get around. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money and I would definitely recommend it.

We enjoyed the stay and that the rooms where clean & quiet. Breakfast was standard American breakfast. What we didn’t like was, they do not have any safe/tresor on the rooms (nor at the reception), in which we could store e.g. our laptops inside.

What I like about comfort inn. the hotel is always quiet and clean, and the staff are generally very nice, they don't require a deposit which is a big bonus! Here's what I don't like, there is literally nowhere to park in this neighborhood, as a guest you have no choice but to park at the hotel and its insane, they charge Guests $20 per car! that's wrong! And for the rates they charge, they have no bar/restaurant, and the pool is creepy!

This property is located close to universal studios. The free breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. We were advised by the front desk to take the city bus for 75 cents per person to universal studios in which we did instead of paying for expensive parking. It was a very good stay.

Good location for places we wanted to go. Most places we were visiting were only 15 minutes away. Very comfy beds and nice fluffy towels. Room was clean. Air conditioner was loud and dated but worked well, just loud enough to wake you up when it cycled on. The breakfast was good but not varied much in the 4 days were there. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked throughout the serving time. With parking being somewhat limited you could have a time where your car would be blocked as they had to park back to back. It was never really a problem for us during our visit thankfully. Staff was always kind and friendly. Would stay here again.

The parking lot is a little strange. They double park the spots so if you are last in you leave keys with front desk. The foldout couch mattress was not super comfy but the beds were very comfortable. The area was a little sketchy but it didn’t bother us. If you are using the hotel for a place to sleep while sight seeing in the area it is perfect and we would stay here again!

The most alarming part of our stay, however, was when my kids found a bottle of prescription pills left behind by a previous guest. This is completely unacceptable and extremely dangerous. I brought this to the attention of the front desk staff right away, expecting immediate concern and action. Instead, I was met with indifference and a complete lack of accountability. Not only did the staff fail to show any real concern for the safety issue, but they also did everything they could to avoid offering any compensation or discount for the experience. I wasn’t looking for a free stay, but I did expect some gesture of goodwill considering the severity of the situation. This stay left me questioning the safety and standards of this location, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it. I hope management seriously reevaluates their cleanliness protocols and staff training, especially when it comes to customer care and safety.

Liked how friendly all of the staff were during our 3 day stay. Great recommendations and parking wasn’t bad and we were able to park without any issues. Location was great since we were visiting Universal Studios for a couple days. Breakfast had many options, fresh, clean, friendly staff there to assist. Pool looked clean but it was too chilly to swim for us. Loved having a fridge big enough to fit 2 medium size pizzas and drinks with a microwave and cable channels. A/C worked fast. Building just been around for a Long time, one bed was lumpy and the other was good but it was decent and clean and me and my family would stay again. Very convenient location in NoHo.

The motel: The pool is basically the size of a large bathtub and it’s located in a concrete bunker in the parking lot under the motel. The “pool room” is only slightly larger than the pool. Approx 3 feet of that room is open roof. It gets no direct sunlight at all. There is no fitness center. There is no restaurant. The morning breakfast nook consists of unbelievably salty scrambled eggs every day, a waffle iron, yogurt, and very watered down coffee. The room: we rented 2 rooms for 4 people and they were very large and clean. The cleaning staff is great. However, we had to switch rooms three times. Once, because the sink in one room created a river of water all over the floor. Once because one of the rooms developed a disgusting mildew smell. Once because the TV in one room was nonfunctional. This last room also had a virtually non-draining sink but we were leaving the next morning and just dealt with it. We were there for ~1 week, and at least half that time, there was a large bath towel placed in front of the elevator door (see pics). Apparently there was a water leak that was dealt with by just placing a towel over it. That area developed a disgusting rancid water odor. After several days, they removed the towel and sprayed the area with some fragrance which only added to the nausea. The property is located in a seedy part of town. You cannot walk outside without encountering a gauntlet of homeless street people.

Hotel was very nice. Clean rooms, good breakfast, staff was nice. I was surprised how quiet it was at night especially since our room faced the busy street but i slept good every night. I requested a wheelchair accessible room and it was very spacious and easy to get around.

Parking was weird, but otherwise good.
