    I ate cereal and toast. Just don’t like chain hotel eggs or sausage as they taste fake. Breakfast lady was cordial and spoke to me. Appears to have had a recent refresh so nothing was bad. Grounds were trashy when I arrived but were being cleaned up as I was leaving. Disconnected gutter drain causing erosion near front door. Normal chain hotel.

    Very clean! First room had no AC working so easily transferred me to another room no problem. The lady at the desk was very sweet! The pool and hot tub was nice! Also loved check out was 12 instead of 10am 1st Room had no working AC

    We arrived late around 9 and checked in with Ron - who was extremely courteous and helpful - he turned the lights on in the dining room so we could play Backgammon. Breakfast was great - bed was great - shower had good pressure - AWESOME STAY!

    The rooms were stuffy and outdated, the hot tub was located outside and the water was scalding hot and oversaturated with bleach. The front desk was understaffed- I had to wait for over an hour to check in. There were several unclean areas of the hotel and the breakfast was terrible. There were also several questionable individuals in the parking lot.

    The rooms look just like the pictures. It was clean and my stay was comfortable. I have a hard time vetting out places, and I was weary but this was a nice stay. I love the fact that it was a non-smoking property. And the staff were welcoming.

We asked for a copy, or told they could not print a copy, I knew they had it on their computer screen and challenge them. They did print a copy and they were charges. We disagreed with With. Wow, this was a very nice facility, the staff needs additional training or replacement. .

    The hotel is fine. It seems to be very new. I was not impressed by the clerk at the desk who seemed less than friendly and more focused on other things than the customer in front of them.

    Our room was clean and had all amenities we needed. The A/C in the room was on when we arrived I turned it to a lower temp that we were comfortable with. When I was finished with my shower the room was at the lower temperature. The staff that we came in touch with were amazing. Kind and friendly and always willing to help in any way.

    The coffee at breakfast was ok, and there was oat milk provided. I appreciated the stiff bed, while my wife did not. The staff was friendly and accommodated my needs for a first floor room due to a medical issue. It was an extremely convenient location for my visit to a doctor at MUSC only 2 minutes away. We could hear almost everything from our room. Especially a tapping metal knocking noise from somewhere on the first floor. The doors were very noisy and slammed every time even when trying to be quiet. The property was still under renovation and seemed like sort of a mess outside. The air conditioning was roaring loud. Most of the lights were a harsh bright fluorescent. Even the TV could not be adjusted for dimness. Ceilings were too high which made the loud noises echo further and even louder. The water pressure in the sink and shower were very poor.

    We stay every Thanksgiving at this Hotel. The surprise this time was a walk in shower instead of the tub. That is wonderful for us as we get older. We stayed at a Fairfield Inn for several days in Jacksonville, Fl also in November. They had a different menu each day which was really nice for a long stay. Different meat, variety of fruit, omelets instead of scrambled eggs etc.

    the first room we were put in, the air conditioner would not work and the shower would only work with extremely hot water, when you would turn it to cold it would shut down completely. we informed the day MGR and when we returned that evening the night MGR was unaware of any of our concerns. he put us in another room and this one had a tub spout that would not work to transfer water to the shower head. I'm 6'5" tall and do not take BATHS. when we checked out the day MGR was not at all interested in our satisfaction

    Lobby was under renovation, however this had no bearing on the quality of my stay. My room was newly renovated and very clean. Very comfy bed and plenty of room. Pool and whirlpool spa were both clean and enjoyable in the summer heat. Staff were pleasant and helpful during entire visit. Would definitely stay again.

    Lobby was under renovation, however this had no bearing on the quality of my stay. My room was newly renovated and very clean. Very comfy bed and plenty of room. Pool and whirlpool spa were both clean and enjoyable in the summer heat. Staff were pleasant and helpful during entire visit. Would definitely stay again.

    The pool/hot tub area was clean with plenty of chairs, tables, and loungers. The gym looked sufficient, but rather small. The breakfast area was comfortable and the food was tasty. Oatmeal, cereal, waffles, yogurt, etc. The scrambled eggs were great, but the sausage and bacon were just ok. Attendants kept everything stocked and clean as people came and went for food. Overall, breakfast was good. A very nice choice, I’d choose it again if I needed to stay in the area.

    I booked this hotel so I could enjoy my son‘s graduation from the Navy. Unfortunately, at the last minute, he cannot leave for one week so that affected me being able to stay.     Stay was very average. Booked another night at hotel desk because we were enjoying Charleston area 2 days before our check out and receptionist checked us out at that moment as if we didn’t have another night to stay and then charged my card for $250. I was told I’d be refunded by the GM 2 days after check out because it was a mistake and it’s been 2 weeks and my $250 has not returned to card. Still says pending and phone number listed to location will not answer. It has an automated message and will not allow you to leave a message. I am beyond upset. I will make sure to never book at this location again. Desk staff were incompetent and nobody could help until GM came in. GM came in and told me he’d be sure to refund me and force the transaction to be stopped and it was not stopped. I’m home awaiting $250 3hrs away from hotel and can’t get ANYONE on the phone. I feel robbed and the hotel was a below average in decor, amenities and even had to switch rooms at arrival bc ours had hair, and stains in bed (human dna) .. the room transferred into smelled so bad and had cigarette ashes in chair but I didn’t complain nor ask to be moved again. Beyond upset and looking to see how I can get back my hard earned money.

    Room is great but closet is too hard to open/close. Lobby is very nice but had sticky floors around the elevator and by the hot tub. Pool was a little dirty and the wi-fi died not even half way through our movie.

    Everything was great…except the elevator! The evening we checked in…the elevator quit working. We were on the third floor…did not like climbing/descending three flights of stairs. Thankfully the next morning the elevator was working!! That was really the only negative thing about our stay.

    The room was unremarkable but clean. The tv was not an old box tv, but also not a current flat screen and fairly small. The air conditioner worked intermittently. The mini fridge doesn't get cold so any leftovers will spoil. The next door neighbor's door was incredibly squeaky and they opened and shut the door at least 30 times in the morning prior to 7 am. I did ask the front desk to have maintenance WD-40 it and that seemed to take care of the squeak. It would be nice if they could figure a way to minimize the banging from when people just let the door slam. The breakfast is complimentary and I felt it was reasonable. No one cleaned the room (I know that a lot of hotels are moving towards reducing/eliminating cleaning services but it's not my preference). For the last evening someone put new towels in the room but that was the extent of the 'servicing'. Trash was not removed and nothing was cleaned or tidied. Overall, the hotel was decent but not one I would necessarily recommend. The elevator is really slow so we typically took the stairwell. There are boxes of old stained pillows and outdated artwork being stored in there on the ground level... I can only assume until trash day. It's not a great look for a space frequented by the guests.

    The property was clean and well kept. The only problem I had was the front desk staff. I tried to extend my stay and the female staff member refused to help me so I checked out and went down the street to a fine hotel that welcomed me and my money. I wont be back at Fairfield

    I am going to guess that what I’ve experience was just a thing that happened and is not the norm. However, my first room had a non working tv. They were good about it and switched my room. The first night was great but the second night I came in and tried to heat my food in the microwave and all lights went out. After several attempts at resetting the breakers, the staff was able to get the ac and bathroom lights back on which was helpful but kind of annoying because I was forced to go to sleep, had to charge my phone in the bathroom and half sleep because I didn’t want to miss my alarm going off at 5am as I had to be up and gone by 5:30am. Disturbing but otherwise I love the convenience of location and overall upkeep.

    My mom takes chemo treatment across the street at the MUSC infusion center. This facility is perfect for a few nights stay. The beds are the most comfortable I have felt at a hotel in a long time. The staff is very friendly and accommodates also any of our request. They even allowed us to do a late check out when my mom treatment ran over.

    So we stayed for the better part of the last week, 5 days between June 7 and June 12. It was an older hotel, small closet, but that didn't bother me. Mike who checked us in and out on first and last day was good. Ron was on duty the night prior to our leaving, Sunday June 11. We'd called to ask for room refresh that morn, they said yes, got back late to find unmade beds, no new towels, and mound of dirty towels 4 ft high in bathroom. Went downstairs to explain problem, and no front desk person on post. Had to wait 5 minutes. Ron comes in, I explain issue, he says "I can't help you." I said: "Correction, there are actually TWO people who could fix this problem -- you and me -- but neither of us WANT to make my beds or service my room at midnight." I then asked him to refund a night of stay, and he said again "I can't" but told me I could "talk to his supervisor in the morning." I asked if she'd be "on at 4 a.m., b/c we had to leave for airport at 4:30" and he said no. I asked him to leave her a note, and he said he could not. At that point, staring at a white male who was at least my age, I was pretty livid -- b/c whether or not Ron wanted to admit he COULD read, write, make beds, and get clean towels -- the fact was he COULD ... and he was just being straight up unhelpful and specializing in telling the guest what I could NOT have. I explained that from 2016 thru Mar 2020, we stayed at Marriott properties once a week, on average. STILL NO HELP. I'm livid....

    The property was in a convenient location not far from the interstate. However, for the $200 rate/night, the hotel was awful. The hallway smelled terrible where our room was located. The bed was lumpy. I didn't sleep well at all. Baby roach was crawling up the wall beside the bed. The tub and sink was cloaked backing up with water. This was one the worst Marriot stays that we have ever experienced.

    Good location. Kind of an old facility. Floors are broken up, so lots of loud foot stomping at night.

    The property was centrally located to the family member I visited as well as restaurants, shopping, and has great amenities. The hotel was very clean, the beds were very comfy, the facilities' ambiance is great, and the staff is very friendly.

    Hotel really needs updates!! Bathrooms and beds are horrible. Either had extremely hot water or none at all. The breakfast was a joke. Way over priced. Holiday Inn next door was way better

    Our stay was very nice. The man at the late night desk was super sweet ( was so tired I forgot to get his name) our room was so clean and nice. The only complaint I had was I went to get a coffee at 11 am and it was gone. Maybe they don’t have coffee all day ?? Most hotels now do. But that’s ok, really there was coffee in the room. I really just wanted creamer for it. Clean clean was the best thing.

    Really good trip, drove up to see my fiancé who's at the goose creek nuclear power training command and stayed here for the night. Really clean and comfortable, only downside is the infotainment. Really old tv's and electronics.

    every thing was great, But one thing and that was that I found bugs in the bed and when I squelch it's blood was red not sure what kinda of bug is was.
