Reviews
The hotel receives mixed reviews with guests appreciating its location and access to NYC shuttle, free parking, and comfortable beds. However, there are consistent complaints about the unavailability or high cost of the shuttle service, poor room service, lack of cleanliness, and thin towels. Some guests also express dissatisfaction with the breakfast offered.

The staff is fantastic. Shuttle services are awesome and the food in the restaurant is really good.

Staff not helpful at all
- 5/5
Very clean, nice shower, nice size room, free parking and easy access to the Manhattan from North Bergen park-and-ride. Good way to avoid the exorbitant hotel constant Manhattan. and high cost of parking in New York.
- 5/5
Great location , great staff, clean place. The only downside is that it says breakfast available which isn’t really as the Option is only at the bar downstairs. Don’t expect a lot as in what is available for a reasonable price
- 5/5
Very clean and nice property with new amenities looks like build yesterday. Thanks

Our stay was amazing! I loved it, especially for the price. We chose this hotel for the free parking! Everything was clean, and looks brand new. The staff was so nice, friendly and helpful. We will be staying here everytime we go to Jersey!

The room itself was clean and fine other than we didn't have a TV remote? We called the front desk and instead of them bringing it to us (because there was none in the room), they made us come to the front desk to get it. Seems like this is a usual occurrence because there was no apology. Also, the website says they have breakfast for purchase but what they don't tell you is that it's just a separate restaurant attached with insane prices. There is no market or anywhere in the hotel to purchase necessities you might need.. All they have is a vending machine with drinks and unhealthy snacks. Might stay again for the price compared to other hotels but the lack of breakfast is a real turn off.

The staff specifically receptionist doesn’t helpful. They charged me twice and didn’t gave me refund after i argued with them and expedia both, even they didn’t listen to expedia also. So I recommend you to find out other options rather than this hotel.

The breakfast was ok I didn't like the location of my room, 311,the scenery was 2 dumpsters, that squirrels kept playing in. I didn't like that they only had pork sausages for breakfast, or you can order a steak, I dont eat red meat or pork.

Another issue was that the coffee maker was missing the pod holder/bucket, so it could not be used properly. Other than these issues, everything else during the stay was okay.

The room was clean, but if you want to rest and have a peaceful night this is not the right place. I stayed from Friday until Sunday. Friday party all night until 3am you could hear the music. Saturday a group of young kids in the hallway and in the parking lot screaming. Party until 3am on Saturday as well and the young kids loud in the hallway.

This was my second time staying here and the staff has always made my stay pleasurable. This particular trip I had a medical emergency and they were absolutely wonderful and supportive getting me the help I needed. Parking is easy and free.
- 4/5
I *like* this place. My only complaint has to do with the finishing work on the construction. I dropped a charging device between a nightstand and the bed and found things left there by previous guests and there are large seams between some flooring tiles. None of that impacts the convenience of the hotel, access to local resources, parking, quality of service nor proximity to Manhattan. I'd recommend to any budget conscious business traveler.
- 5/5
Unfortunately there are no breakfast provided with the room.
- 3/5
Only one wash towel provided, water was not warm enough, there were black grainy stuff all over shelves under sink, drawers were dusty, water pressure was too low, bedroom was not well lit, very boring view, body lotion was such a poor quality that my arms and legs dried out after two days of using it and no floor towel was provided. Positives: bed was very comfy, a round table for two people dine with comfy revolving chairs, a comfy chair with ottoman, bedside lamp on either sides with USB ports for charging phones, even without adapters, a good list channels in tv, staff was very friendly, parking was very safe and we could leave our car early than check in time and after checkout too, iron box and hair dryer.

They have a clean rooms, clean bathrooms. Everything was well organization very helpful people in very convenience to get to Manhattan, New York.

Great stay! Just wish it included breakfast.

I was expecting a more streamlined and less seedy establishment. It smelled of bug spray in my room. The location was also not desirable.
- 5/5

This place is gross, bathroom had hair on the shower floor. Soap dispensers were empty. Floor in our room was sticky. They first gave us a key for a room that had people inside when we opened the door with our card. The road to turn in and out is awful, very sharp turn. parking lot had garbage everywhere.

From the moment we arrived, Kristine and Thomas at the front office were very welcoming and helpful. They made the check-in process smooth and ensured everything was in order. A big thank you to both of them for being so kind and supportive throughout our stay. Parking being included was a big plus and made things much easier for us. We were also given a good room with a nice view, which we appreciated. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and quite decent overall. Housekeeping came in every day to change the towels and keep everything clean, which we really liked. The location is not the most ideal if you’re planning to go into New York frequently, as it’s about 40 minutes from the Empire State Building. However, for the price, it’s quite reasonable. At first, getting into New York felt a bit inconvenient, but we found a much better option. There’s a Park & Ride about 5 minutes away by car from the hotel. From there, buses run every 15–20 minutes directly to Manhattan. The round trip costs around $10 per person, parking is included, and the ride takes about 20 minutes. Once we figured this out, getting to New York became very easy. The area around the hotel is also convenient. There are plenty of places nearby to grab food, and a large grocery store within walking distance, which made our stay more comfortable. Overall, for the price, this hotel is a very solid option if you’re planning t

We had a great stay, the staff are very informative & accommodating, my only issue was the bed is too firm making it hard to sleep. The cafe bar located inside the lobby area serves really good hispanic/latin food.
- 5/5
Room was very clean | Staff was friendly to work with | hotel staff stated Airport shuttle was not offered through them so we had to uber to hotel | Business-friendly
- 4/5
Loud noises from the streets all night. Staff was not friendly and denied me a 12 pm checkout, something most hotels allow. But it was clean and beautiful
- 5/5
I’m very clean the cleaning staff does a good job. Only one downsize is it smells like marijuana the building
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean. Shuttle was just a call away! Booked for a layover. Would stay again

Staff were nice. However, the event that was going on over the weekend made it very difficult to sleep. Also room service is not everyday.

The room had all amenities, which was good. However, at check out day, a worker pushing a luggage cart showed some aggression by shoving the cart against the wall, between the elevator and the gym. She could have controlled the push of the luggage cart to prevent it from hitting the wall, but because she shoved it as she got out of the elevator on the Lobby level, she didn't care for it to hit the wall. If I was not a guest, it would not have mattered to me, but something to report. The night before check out, room 481 had loud occupants blasting music at 1:30 AM, which caused me to wake from sleep. I called front desk and they stated that they'd look into it. The occupants may have been notified in person, but the music, though lowered in volume was still not allowing me to sleep. Then the music was turned off, but the conversations were still audible from my room, 483, so I had no choice but to put on noise cancelling earbuds to drown out the occupants conversations. One occupant tried to open the connecting door to room 483 from their room, but it didn't open, but it caused some concern for me. I was on a tight scheduled and should have reported the occupants after the initial call to the operator, but I needed to be picked up by my rideshare so I just turned in my room keys. Prior to all this, I also got locked out of Room 483 the day before, when I went downstairs, but the maintenance person was able to resolve within 30 minutes.

- 4/5
Clean room, couple janky things but nothing serious. Overall enjoyed our stay everyone was very nice, room was nice and food was good. Very nice to have free self parking.
- 2/5
Deposit was not disclosed prior to checking in, it seemed very high for just a weekend stay, parking was not that good and shower head was not working properly and iron was leaking water/broken. Bed was comfortable. Layout of room awkward.
- 1/5
On top of that, the keycards repeatedly stopped working, forcing me to go back and forth to the front desk multiple times just to regain access to my own room. This was not only inconvenient but showed a clear lack of proper maintenance and organization. To make matters worse, one of the elevators was out of service, which caused long wait times and unnecessary delays, especially when trying to go up and down with luggage. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and poorly managed. When paying to stay at a hotel, you expect basic functionality, comfort, and reliability—none of which were consistently provided here. I would not recommend staying here unless major improvements are made.
- 5/5
Accommodating and polite staff, loved the shuttle, room was clean and modern! I’ll stay here for all my future NYC trips.
- 2/5
Too much noise
- 5/5
Very clean and welcoming. Informative about transport to and from New York along with the functionalities of the public transport.
- 3/5
During our stay, one of the two elevators was out of service, forcing all guests to use a single elevator. As a result, we had to wait in long lines, especially during peak hours, which was quite inconvenient. Additionally, the quality of the duvets in the room was quite poor, and they did not appear to be very clean.
- 2/5
No blankets, only sheets. The room was freezing cold, thermostat didn't work, staff couldn't communicate due to language barrier.

They charged me room charge twice. Had to give a $200 deposit in case there was any damages. Elevators broken both nights, had to use service elevator. When i got to lobby, elevators were working, they didn't remove signs on the floor instucting you to use service elevator.

Hidden gem restaurant
- 5/5
The room was clean, uncomfortable temperature however the privacy using the restroom is less than ideal and if you’re someone who is uncomfortable using the restroom within earshot of their partner, it may not be the best place for you. We had a good stay.
- 3/5
The room was okay. They charge $15/person for buffet breakfast for very limited choices, hugely disappointed. The floor and room were overheated, room was at 78-79, and hallway felt hotter than the room, my guess is around 85. You cannot adjust the temperature in each room. That’s probably why the blanket is super thin, covered by two bed sheets, one under and the other above. During the house cleaning, the staff took one bedsheet, leaving the blanket totally uncovered…I don’t think they wash the blanket for each booking. So the feeling that we were directly using the blankets that many people used before was really disgusting. I called the front desk to deliver four bedsheets to two rooms we had, they said yes but never sent… won’t stay there again.
- 3/5
Only 1 of 2 elevators was operable.
- 4/5
Room was fine. Bathroom was okay. We did not get any tooth brush or tooth paste.
- 3/5
Water pressure was generally low resulting in a lesser shower experience. Hot water pressure occasionally cut to a trickle
- 1/5
This property is extremely flithy and dirty it smells like pee in the hallway and bathrooms are ackwardly part of the room and do not feel private. Blankets and pillows are way overused and very uncomfortable
- 3/5
Customer service was sub-par.
- 4/5

- 5/5
Clean room, comfy
- 2/5
My room wasn’t cleaned Saturday and I had to request cleaning Sunday. There’s no continental breakfast offered the bar restaurant didn’t offer any sports television. The staff was kind not impressive.
- 4/5
Not enough disabled parking, not enough accessible friendly ways to check in so people with disabilities had to sit far away from the desk waiting their turn to check in, messy discarded cups in the lobby, loud and noisy on the street woke us up early. We kept getting notices from the property before we’d been there even 12 hours about “when will you check out.” Construction right outside room was so so loud. Not their fault but coupled with everything made it a lousy experience. Front desk staff misinformed my husband about the restaurant - gave wrong hours of opening, wrong name, everything and my husband wasn’t able to get dinner. We were here for my medical appointments in NYC. This wasn’t a “fun” trip. We just booked a hotel to try to get down and back. This was very harrowing an experience. Will never be back.
- 4/5
The room was great. Clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and the restaurant downstairs was excellent. Only complaint was the airport shuttle. They advertise free shuttle, but it doesn’t start until 7 AM, so if you have an early flight you have to pay for a very expensive Uber.
- 5/5
This was a convenient base for our family of 5 to visit NYC, very easy in and out of the city by car
- 4/5
On weekends a lot of noise at the discord .
- 4/5
Room was pretty good and decent for a great price! The staff was great and super helpful!
- 5/5
The hotel staff were lovely. The room was large, basic but provided everything we needed. A perfect place for a few nights visiting NYC
- 3/5
No restrooms in lobby and room’s thermostat wasn’t working
- 5/5
Clean room, residential area so very calm, nice place would stay here again.
- 3/5
Unclear instructions on how to book airport pickup, shuttle does not run frequently. Rooms were spacious. Hallways have old and dirty carpet, but room was clean enough. Their website says there's laundry facilities but this is not correct.
- 1/5
Everything was good I’m just wondering why they charged $75 & had no explanation to it.
- 2/5
The sink and shower curtain were dirty, the room lacked basic toiletries, the layout of the room/bathroom was odd. Overall not great.
- 3/5
The shuttle is not convenient. The pickup time is fixed. I used to think it is for free but it’s actually not a service from the hotel. The fan didn’t seem to work, though they said it was actually working. No disposable item was available (to be purchased). Remember to bring all the items you need: slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste, etc.
- 3/5
The room was ok not great. Staff was helpful.
- 4/5
Clean rooms, quick elevators & easy parking
- 3/5
Would an extra small towel to use when getting out of shower would be nice.
- 5/5
Great experience at Wyndham! The room was clean and spacious. Additionally, the shuttle services they offer (airport shuttle and nyc shuttle) were a huge help! Great experience here.
- 3/5
Breakfast was average and I had to ask for the food even though it was supposed to be buffet style and this breakfast buffet cost 15 dollars
- 5/5
Clean room
- 4/5
The room was great and the bed was comfortable. The only problem was the construction that was going on next door by the service room. It somewhat kept me up, but was tolerable. And the breakfast buffet at $15, no thanks. Overall, it was a nice hotel for the weekend.

- 4/5
Easy shuttle
- 4/5
Staff was very understanding. My dad uses a walker so needed an accessibility room. Only thing is that in the first room there were no grab bars by the toilet. Then in the second room, the bed was too high. So finally, the third room was just right. (Like Goldilocks, lol!)
- 4/5
Very welcome ambiance
- 5/5
Our flight was cancelled and we booked a last minute stay. We selected this hotel as they had a free airport shuttle from EWR and this hotel half way to Manhattan where we spent the following day. They stored our luggage and we took the shuttle back to the airport which saved on Uber costs. The room was clean and spacious. Great stay!
- 4/5
Clean , spacious, modern, close to attractions,
- 2/5
My experience at this hotel was disappointing. The housekeeping never came to clean my room, even though I had the “Make Up Room” tag on the door. When I returned, the room was still dirty, and the ironing table was broken. It’s also very difficult to get an extra towel, even after requesting multiple times. The front desk was pretty rude. For the price, I expected much better service and maintenance.
- 1/5
Door to the parking garage can be pushed open meaning anyone can get it. The front desk staff were completely unhelpful and uninformed. The rooms were not cleaned despite putting the little door sign on TWO DAYS in a row. I recommend staying anywhere else, literally a motel would have had better service.
- 5/5
This was a great bargain stay for visiting NYC. The staff were helpful and respectful, providing a clean, quiet and comfortable space for me to sleep and recharge. Would stay here again
- 1/5
No hot water in room. Wouldn’t switch us. Made us wait 12 hours for hot water. No type of compensation
- 4/5
Room was very nice. Super comfy bed.
- 1/5
Many of the amenities that were mentioned on the Expedia page and Wyndham site were not available. Perhaps, they never existed. On the Expedia page, in room massages was listed as one of their services but when I asked about it at the front desk, the staff looked at me crazy. Room service was also advertised but apparently not available.
- 1/5
I was told when I booked this hotel, it offered shuttle to/from JFK airport, but when requesting the night before arrival, was told then that they only offer shuttle to/from Newark. They still charged me the full amount of the room & I had to sleep in the airport over night to get home from Europe, in order to catch connecting flight the next morning. Explained that the main reason I chose this hotel was for price & convenience, as I was leaving Europe on very low funds, & could not afford the $200 ride to/from airport. Went as far to imply I was lying. No sympathy, no accountability in error. I’ll never recommend Wyndham again & tell everyone I know how terrible I was treated.
- 4/5
I give 5 stars to Tom. He is the front desk and shuttle driver. Very good kid.
- 5/5
AMAZING!!!!
- 2/5
Bathtub was dirty full of hair. Bedding looked dirty. like it was never changed There is a night club inside the restaurant. A group of people were fighting and running outside the hotel. Did not feel safe. Would not recommend staying here.

Great, really appreciated the airport shuttle and ability to store luggage
- 5/5

- 5/5
Quiet and nice! Great deal! Not paying $15 for the buffet breakfast though. Overall excellent!
- 5/5
I think it’s a tad wrong to charge for a late check out.
- 3/5
The hotel staff was great. The shuttle to the airport was a great perk. However, during the weekend, I couldn’t get any sleep as there is a bar/club open on the weekends with extremely loud music that kept me up past 2 am. I got terrible sleep two out of the three nights.
- 4/5
The hotel and room was clean and quiet. The staff were responsive to my requests. Parking on site was convenient. The surrounding area is run down and unappealing.
- 2/5
There were many things that went wrong here. The sheets in my room were not clean. I slept on top of the bed on a blanket. When I came back to the hotel from having dinner, there was a large group of people sitting right outside the lobby smoking marijuana. Finally, it is going to take me a lot of time to sort out my receipt to do my expense report. They charged and refunded me over and over again for the stay and the deposit. At one point they called and asked me to bring down $200 cash for the deposit because they couldnt figure out what they were doing with my credit card (I did not do that!). Would not stay here again.
- 1/5
Staff don't care about identity privacy. Also no one services the room not even once during my stay.
- 4/5
Very clean rooms, nice amenities, great parking
- 5/5
The rooms didn’t have carpet which was great because I hate carpet, elevators are relatively quick service, the staff was very nice and gave us a crib for the 6 month old with us, the rooms are pretty noise proof as we couldn’t hear the other rooms. This is my second time coming to this hotel to see New York
- 3/5
Room was clean, but common areas were inconsistent. Staff courtesy was inconsistent - some were terrific while others were borderline rude. Area was noisy but that’s just a result of where this property is located. Restaurant was not good and overpriced.
- 3/5
Evening front desk was not great at all: If you forgot any small toiletries items, they would love to charge you, $1 per disposable shaving razor for example. Even they may choose to tell you it is the hotel chain’s NEW policy🐶 that I am not sure about.

Wash room and bathroom are located at the entrance of the room. Glass door for bathroom. No privacy when you need to use it. They advertise breakfast is available for additional payment.
- 4/5
I only stayed one night but the room served its purpose. It was clean and decent, the front desk lady was very helpful and nice, but the breakfast should've been included, I had to pay a separate fee for that, very limited parking but other than that, my stay was fine. I would stay again if I needed to.
- 1/5
Overall, the lack of cleanliness and poor customer service made this a very unpleasant experience. I would not recommend this hotel to others.
- 5/5
Stay was amazing only thing was we found used towels in our room. Room was clean other than that. Ac worked fine water was hot.
- 4/5
I didn't like breakfast in buffet.
- 5/5
Clean room and comfortable bed. Easy to find, easy to park and cery nice staff.
- 5/5
Hotel was clean ans nice.
- 4/5
It was a good place
- 4/5
Hotel itself was clean and had great amenities in the room. The staff were not the friendliest. The restaurants / bar was awful and the bartender could not wait to rush me out of there so she could go home 30 minutes before it closed
- 5/5
parking was easy.

Great place close to the city! Comfortable and quiet.

Excellent hotel, very clean, great location and good staff
- 5/5
Beds were extremely comfortable. Only thing I didn't like was I had to pay to check in early. Never have had to do that before.
- 3/5
It was a big bed and quiet. There was a fridge and the room was very spacious. But the shuttle service only works between 7-19. So if you have to fly early, you need other transportation and it is not cheap. Location was further than advertised.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and very helpful and was able to answer all my questions thank you for making our a couple days in New Jersey enjoyable
- 1/5
The shade of the window fell and slapped me in the face as I tried to lower it
- 5/5
Very nice place
- 4/5
Rooms were large and clean. The main areas need the carpet replaced however. Also, breakfast should be included or much less than they are charging.
- 4/5
The property was new and clean and had good access to transportation to Manhattan. The neighborhood is a bit rundown. front desk staff were not friendly at all but the rooms were cleaned well and it was a good value for our purposes (visiting family in New Jersey and spending time in the city)

It’s our second time staying in this hotel, my 2 daughters love the room that’s we stayed in second time. But in our second time we noticed that the elevator and the hallway to go to our room smell weed especially in the elevator really strong smell, even they have a sign say NO Smoking is allowed. We’re kind a disappointed. We really like this hotel because it’s near every thing especially the American Dream Mall that we all like. Hopefully the next time we go back, no one is going to smoke 🙁.

Terrible
- 4/5
Convenient location to get back & forth from NYC. Minor issues with towels, iron, and lock on door. 2 of the 3 issues were fixed immediately!
- 2/5
Airport shuttle advertised but never showed up. Called front desk six times, no one answered. Wyndham National customer service stated the property only had a shuttle to the airport, not from it. Cost me $80 for an Uber. Asked front desk staff for delayed checkout as a courtesy when we checked in. Was told I would have to talk to the front desk morning staff.
- 5/5
Great place. Very clean. Very beautiful.
- 5/5
The hallway floors need an upgrade but the room is great. The room is very clean and with comfortable bed. Perfect place to stay for a couple of days in Hudson county. I will definitely come back and stay here again. This is our second time staying here.
- 5/5
One lady at the front desk was with attitude, like she was mad
- 1/5
Was advertised as having an airport shuttle on expedia. When I was stranded at LaGuardia for the night, I chose this hotel AFTER choosing the filter for "airport shuttle". After booking, I immediately reached out to see if there was a shuttle schedule and was told they do not service LaGuardia. Easy mistake, yet neither the Hotel or Expedia would refund me. Not a great move by either.

The hotel doesn’t look like much from the outside but, it’s a great little spot. It’s just off the highway but, away from heavy traffic. The room was clean and comfortable. Don’t expect much in the way of service - there’s coffee/tea available in the lobby but, no cold storage so, only creamer powder is available. Lobby staff was friendly and found my reservation within minutes of booking. Perfect for a one-night stay on my way to Newark airport.
- 4/5
WiFi was trash clean and spacious
- 4/5
The property was clean and quiet. The only thing I didn’t like was that the soap, shampoo & conditioner dispensers were clogged. When I asked for some they only gave me the small samples, definitely not enough.
- 2/5
For over $300 a night, i expect more than one lonely person at the front desk with 15 people in line - and being "too busy" is hardly an excuse. Windham used to be a premium brand. They're still priced that way, but the experience is way down my list. Wont be at this brand anymore.
- 5/5
Well kept and spacious
- 5/5
Perfect for a one night quick trip!
- 5/5
It was an amazing hotel
- 5/5
Fine for an overnight stay. ❤️
- 4/5
Everything was good but for two nights I didn't have towels in my room for some reason they forgiven to put them. And one night couldn't shower because of no soap.
- 4/5
For the price, breakfast should have been included.
- 5/5
Great hotel, friendly staff and conveniently located near the bus stop - only 30 mins max into manhattan for 4 dollars! I would def stay here again - much better value for money than manhattan and easy to get into the city. Free shuttle bus to Newark airport, too. Highly recommended - well done, Wyndham.
- 5/5
Everything was very clean, and the staff was very helpful. The staff member during breakfast was very nice and friendly.
- 5/5
Breakfast should be included or cost less, $15 dollars is a lot of money for eggs and bacon…
- 1/5
Dirty hotel. Hallways absolutely filthy and stinking. Also, anyone can just go up the elevator to the room floors from the oarking garage. You should need to scan a room key to get up there. The room itself smelled clean, but the floors looked dirty and needed to be vacuumed. The staff at check in and check out were both very kind and pleasant to talk to.
- 5/5
The staff super helpful and friendly. Very close to Hoboken and NYC . Rooms were surprisingly Very nice and clean and great water pressure and layout! All around great experience.
- 5/5
There is room to improve on the breakfast though
- 5/5
It was close to where i needed to be

Great stay, convenient bus into manhattan was a short walk away. The hotel was great too, room was clean, comfortable bed, good temperature for sleeping. Couldn’t fault it.

I would stay at this property again- HOWEVER, there are a few things I feel should still be shared. The staff was very nice and helpful. Easy check-in and check-out. We were able to stay an hour later than check-out at no charge. The room was fairly clean, but there were a few stains on the sheets that we asked them to change, and they were changed to clean ones right away. No bed bugs, and the beds were comfy. The room was modern with wood floors, but the hallways were very dated with messy carpets. Not a nice view from the room, but we were for its proximity to MetLife, the American Dream Mall, and Montclair so for that it was perfect. About 10 mins from American Dream/MetLife and 25 mins from Montclair. Parking at the hotel was free and easy. Lastly though, the hotel breakfast for $15 per person was NOT worth it. I do not recommend!! My friend and I got it before leaving, and the food was lukewarm and not great tasting. Eggo waffles, basic potatoes, and sausage. Eggs however, were made to order and pretty good. Cereal was soggy when dry?? I had a few normal pieces, not stale, but then a few pieces were soggy (despite me eating it with no milk). I wanted to vomit, I spit it all right out. I felt bad for the worker there, too. She was friendly and helpful, but I assume the hotel requires her to go up to everyone before they take food (despite being a buffet) to remind them that they have to pay. It was awkward for us and her. Fair price for the hotel and room itself overall.

Do not stay here if you want to actually rest! Stayed to spend the Beyonce concert. The shuttle dropped us off outside of the stadium, a 10 minute walk from the street to venue. The I’d a club inside the hotel that doesn’t close until 2am, the walls are thin and its impossible to sleep! It’s even worse when it closes as the party moves outside for another hour. The check in receptionis was arrogant and rude! Spring Hill Suites is the best in the area.
- 4/5
Staff very friendly. Room was clean
- 4/5
Location was great for catching the 125 bus to NYC Quiet room. We did not purchase breakfast as it was $15. Parking Garage was handy as there was no charge.
- 3/5
They have a free shuttle to/from events at Met Lift stadium, but the shuttle picking us up was extremely late and uncommunicative.
- 1/5
The AC was extremely noisy, to the point where it was impossible to sleep—and it couldn’t be fully turned off. I wasn’t able to get even a minute of rest.
- 5/5
Enjoyed the stay
- 1/5
Dirty rooms, with dirty pillows and sheets and towels. Air conditioner did nbot work, did not have a switch on/off and was always on. You nedeed to call to get it on or off.
- 5/5
Nice hotel with everything we needed in the room. It was our in between location for our day spa and dinner reservation. All shower toiletries provided. We used uber to transport us to a rooftop restaurant for a view of the city. Great diner nearby where we ate brunch; however, the hotel did offer a $15 breakfast buffet.

After landing at midnight, my parents were taken by the first shuttle, but my younger brother and I — also paying guests — were left behind due to “limited space.” We waited 30+ minutes for the next shuttle, only to be kicked off that one too when the driver prioritized Best Western passengers instead. We waited alone at the airport for over an hour at night — completely unacceptable. At check-in, I explained the situation, asked for even a small courtesy (late checkout, breakfast, etc.), and was brushed off with a manager's card. The next morning, I had to call three times just to get one water bottle sent to my room. Then, despite confirming my return airport shuttle for 5:00 PM (for a 7:10 PM flight), I received no reminder or courtesy call — and was told I “missed it” when I arrived back from graduation. I had to pay nearly $50 for an Uber. Why advertise shuttle service if it doesn’t function? I paid extra for this hotel expecting good service. Instead, I got stress, disorganization, and zero accountability. Save your money — book elsewhere.

For a hotel charging over $200 a night, basic rest and responsiveness from staff should be a given. Instead, I left exhausted, frustrated, and completely unsupported. A late checkout was offered after I complained, but that doesn’t make up for a sleepless night. Additionally the room doesn’t come with a microwave you have to go to a hallway microwave to warm any items and there’s zero hospitality service they don’t have staff that help with anything they sit behind the desk and there isn’t separate staff to address needs coming to the room. The in-room phone is inoperable and when texting with staff for questions they remain unresponsive basically due to a lack of conflict management skills for the issues that arise on the property. The room was 305, at $229 at the time of booking. It’s directly above a loud event space and I would highly not recommend here just based on the minimal attempts to remedy the situation.

No close public transportation
- 4/5
Great stay. Just off a busy road but not noisy at all!
- 4/5
The property was quiet, nice & decent, cleanly and very convenient if you went to stay in NJ but going to be in the NYC
- 4/5
Basic, clean, safe. My only gripe is its location. Can’t really get anywhere without a cab

On May 8, the air conditioning in that room started making a loud noise (video attached). I requested a room change, and on May 9, I was moved to Room 512, where I shockingly found a used condom wrapper between the sheet and blanket — a serious hygiene concern. I was then moved to Room 312, but within 30 minutes, a ceiling leak appeared above the bed (video attached). We were then moved again to Room 328, where the air conditioning was just as loud, making sleep nearly impossible. Exhausted, we had to switch rooms multiple times between 10:30 PM and 1:45 AM. We asked the night receptionist to turn off the AC to be able to sleep. When I asked for compensation, he advised me to contact the manager via email. I am therefore requesting financial compensation or a commercial gesture for the repeated issues we faced: loud noise, hygiene concerns, water leaks, and exhausting late-night moves. This stay was highly stressful and did not meet the standards expected from your hotel. I hope to also meet with you at the reception during my stay to discuss this matter further. Yours sincerely,

Room was spacious but smelled heavily like the past person cologne and cigarettes indicative of the turnover having not been as thorough. Will reconsider if booking again but the spaciousness and newness of the room was nice.
- 2/5
Coffee machine is always dirty, so I have to clean it, and then showers didn’t work properly, despite telling the front desk
- 5/5
There is a nice grocery store that has ready made salads and sandwiches. The staff were polite and accommodating as I requested a room in the back area as it is quieter.
- 5/5
Very clean and comfortable.

We stayed for our anniversary weekend and it’s a gem hidden in North Bergen. Clean, new property, there were complimentary water bottles in the room for us. The bed was super clean and comfortable, the shower was nice and updated as well as the bathroom. We thought it was a really cool design to have the toilet and shower in separate stalls but in the same area, very modern. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful, checking in was a breeze. There’s a kiosk near the elevators that tells you all about events nearby and there were plenty of pamphlets for tourists. I’m originally from the area so didn’t need them but I thought they were a great resource for people visiting for the first time. Overall great experience and we’ll definitely be staying here again!

They do offer free water. coffee, which I enjoyed. The hotel and staff were reasonably nice, they offer shuttle service into Newyork and airport. Other than housekeeping issue, the room was very nice and clean with updated facilities. I think I will stick with Wyndham hotels when booking my trips, their prices are reasonable and hotels updated and well kept.

location really good

Rooms where nice. And spacious
