- Great location, often near the water or with a view of the bay
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Rooms and bathrooms in need of refurbishment
- Parking fees and deposit charges

The air conditioning was working fabulously!
- 3/5
We love the pool with the view. You can order food and drink at the restaurant behind the hotel and party there at night lol

room needed to be updated
- 4/5
The room was clean. I was very satisfied with the staff and the view was waw. I had a balcony room
- 5/5
Excelente hotel
- 2/5
The pictures were misleading, my first room had mold everywhere and the room smell horrible, and the ceiling was leaking. Everything was out dated and they had to switch my room. The other room was a little better still outdated, but I was right across from a building that had construction going on my whole stay and the view was horrible. My air conditioning went out but the maintenance guy came right away to fix it. There are really no amenities and they only clean your room every three days. No microwave anywhere but your room has a very small fridge. There is also a connected door in the rooms to your neighbor and I did not like that. The staff was very helpful but there was only so much they could do. I read good reviews and the pics look nice but it’s nothing like what it appears. I was very disappointed.
- 2/5
Stayed at this property in early June 2026. I knew reading the reviews it could be a poor experience, but I wanted to stay close to water. My family arrived at 4 PM to check-in. Room was not ready. I was told to come back in 20 minutes. I came back at 4:30. Room was still not ready, it hadn't been cleaned yet. Was told by front desk staff that they would wave the resort fee of the room wasn't ready by 5:30. We got to check in at 5:20. Saw cockroach in the lobby on the wall. Then woke up to yelling next door at 5 AM and people throwing things. This went on for several hours until we checked out. Rooms were okay. Run down, but worked for the night.
- 2/5
Booked and payed for a balcony room 4 months in advanced and when I arrived staff informed me they were sold out. No compensation was made. Front desk staff said she will waive the resort fee but proceeded to charge me once I checked out. Will not be staying here again and don’t recommend.
- 5/5
Such a fun and funky space to stay in. The color scheme and decor added to vibe. Clean space, comfy beds and helpful staff.
- 1/5
- 3/5
Elevator was not working and we had to carry our luggage up several flights of strairs. I believe spring break was occurring so the restaurant that we wanted to go was closed to become a club.
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 2/5
Needs a lot of updating
- 1/5
We were given a fifth floor room, but the elevator was out of service for all three days of our stay. No housekeeping in 3 days, called the front desk requesting towels replacement and toilet paper, but not given. Called again at night, was asked to come down to the office to get them! Horrible experience, not recommended.

Excellent location PAPPO
- 1/5
We arrived on site and in the first room there were bugs on the bed, lamps, towels. They sent us to another room and there were also bugs AND blood stains in the comforter. The staff was helpful and approved a full refund. Still waiting on it.
- 5/5
I had lunch at the restaurant and it was disappointing. I was seated at my table and my server was Ioani S. He gave me water and disaapeared. He never asked if I wanted aything else to drink. He finallt came back 10 plus minutes later to get my order. I ordered a grilled chicken ceasar salad ($30 is WAY too expensive). I was given my food. I ate and sat at the table a good half our plus, even after I was done eating. Ioani S NEVER once came over to ask if eveything was ok, or if I wanted anything else. I waited another 15 minutes after I was finished eating for him to come by with my check which he never did. I went up to bar to cash out. He never said tip was already included until I asked what the service charge was but he said I could give an additional tip too. I was taken aback by his rudeness. Your bartender Chelsea was amazing. I went down later in the evening to sit and she was very courteous, kind and we chatted the whole time I was there. The manager Vlad was also very kind. Your server Ioani S is just rude and not very friendly.

Location is great and close to beach it is great for a night or two
- 4/5
Very good

Location and swimming pool Wasn’t told the elevators were broken, had to carry luggage up 3 flights of steps. Bathtub hardly drained

Very good
- 1/5
Due to my work schedule, I arrived after 9:00 PM and was informed upon arrival that there was no elevator access to the 5th floor where my room was located. This was particularly inconvenient after a long day of travel and should have been communicated more clearly in advance. The overall condition of the property did not meet expectations. There was a strong smell of marijuana throughout various areas of the hotel, including common spaces. The room itself felt very damp and musty, with unusually high humidity. The air conditioning appeared to be functioning at very low power and was unable to adequately cool or dehumidify the room. The pool area was also disappointing, with cigarette butts inside the water, creating an unclean atmosphere. In addition, there were no towels available at either the pool or the gym, which made using these amenities inconvenient. While the staff was courteous, the overall condition, maintenance issues, cleanliness concerns, and lack of basic amenities significantly impacted my stay. Based on this experience, I would not choose to stay at this property again.
- 5/5
Basic room but very cute old Miami vibes. Definitely recommend
- 3/5
Nice view but hotel is outdated, old , bed is not comfy
- 5/5
I like everything I don't like that just today,I don't have the refund. I have $150 refund for June 1 to June 2, another $150 refund for June 2 to June 3, make it $300 they have to sned me back, just today, June 10, I don't receive it. Please help me to have the deposit refund back .
- 4/5
They did hold our luggage when it arrived so that was helpful. The rooms were spacious but the bathrooms are awfully small! Definitely a downfall. But would stay again for the price!
- 4/5
The staff was helpful and amazing! The elevator was down so they carried our bags to our room for us. Lots of construction next door and around the area but there is a great bakery 2 blocks away. It’s called CAO.
- 1/5
I didn’t like that the finals were on and the tv didn’t have the basic abc or local 10. Also the sheets had blood on it before I asked for a different room. The noise was horrible as you could hear everyone and anything. The building shakes which is bad as well. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone
- 3.5/5
Good
- 5/5
The property location was good it was close to the beach and has a sea view.
- 5/5
Rooms were very clean and neat i was steps away from the dock and there was a live DJ party when i got there! Great place for adults
- 1/5
Absolute Cesspit of a place, building work going on next to hotel. Rundown, nothing like the pictures. Smell of Marajuana everywhere. Room outdated and smelled stale. We left and did not stay.
- 1/5
- 2/5
No elevators working Ok
- 2.5/5
Has so much potential but needs to be updated. Water pooling everywhere in the parking lot, the building falling appart from disrepair. Could have been so much better. Didn't know they only clean the rooms once every 3 days. They didn't say when we booked that the Elevator wasn't working (I read it in reviews from 2 years ago but figured they had fixed it by now....). And we were on the 4th floor with kids so that made it hard.
- 3/5
My son had an accident...
- 1/5
not a hotel more like a sketchy motel, don’t be fooled by the pictures vibes felt weird and off book somewhere else
- 5/5
Agradable 👌
- 5/5
Good one of my paper properties
- 1/5
We checked into our room and were disgusted. The walls, floors, furniture, and especially the bathroom were incredibly dirty. To make matters worse, I woke up with a rash on my arm. On top of the filth, we had constant maintenance issues. Our room key card stopped working repeatedly, forcing us to keep walking back and forth to the front desk to get back into our room. The front desk staff was nice and helpful, but the hotel's policies and management are an absolute joke. When we tried to get someone to at least come and clean the filth, we were told the cleaning crew only comes once every 3 days! When we complained about the conditions and requested a refund to leave, they claimed they couldn't issue one because we booked through Expedia. Yet, when Expedia customer support tried calling the hotel multiple times to help us get a cleaning crew or authorize a refund, the hotel completely ignored the calls and refused to answer.
- 2/5
NO Tv that had basketball 🏀 finals on,noisy neighbors that smoked weed, bloody stained sheets, screen door didn’t close well, the whole building shakes,& you hear everything. Sad that this place got 4 stars I rate it a 1 star.

Passable

There was weed everywhere!! There was so much weed smoking everywhere that I couldn't let my kid out to swim and even if I did, there were no towels!! 150.00 in "resort fees"..Ha. Resort... Dive motel..Stay away!!
- 3/5
Sheets were dirty when we arrived, asked front desk to notify housekeeping staff. Front desk dropped off two folded top sheets for us to change the sheets ourselves.
- 3.5/5

The elevator was down and they never told us!
- 5/5
Super se lo recomiendo
- 5/5
The view was stunning! Pool was great! Staff was amazing! The only thing was I took 3 kids and they were the only kids there apparently they throw parties all weekend it shuts down at 10pm and honestly wasn’t too loud but definitely a party crowd so wanted to note this for families. We had a wonderful time though!
- 2/5
To be honest, I saw pictures on expedia was so perfect. That's why I booked. And then when I checked in, it was smooth. But the problem was, I sent my son to ask them if they have a different room on 3rd floor, they want to charge me extra, like almost $200 plus tax for 2 nights. And I work at the hotel, but I never, ever charge people when they wanted to have a nice room. When we wanted to have a guest to be happy when he stayed with us.So we have to upgrade him, free. But this hotel they don't upgrade people free, they just want to charge. And then also when I came back at the night we ant and in the bathroom. So I didn't say anything. I just wanted to them to know they need to be more clean. and the floor. It was so dirty, you cannot walk with a slippers and they don't have the light enough. The room is very dark. So yeah pictures it's very far where you have in the hotel rooms.
- 5/5
Amazing location, clean rooms and awesome staff. Only con was that our room fridge did not work.
- 2/5
The elevator was not working, and there was no staff available to assist me in accessing my room. This created a significant inconvenience, especially while carrying my belongings. I would have appreciated better support and communication regarding the situation.
- 4/5
Needed more face towels they should not have been put of them
- 1/5
Lastimosamente fue mi pero experiencia. Cobraron cargos í en esperados dobles nunca me dieron que traían otras cargos con esos precios tan altos. En total fueron más $800 por solo 2 noches fatal poco profesional
- 1/5
Horrible.
- 3/5
This is an outdated hotel. Our room was okay, it had the essentials. The balcony view was great. What was not great, was, having a nightclub under the hotel that was packed on Friday and Saturday night. Getting in and out of the hotel property during those hours was challenging. The club was open until 10pm, but that was a holiday weekend, so I am assuming it goes much later than that regularly.. This is a great hotel for a Sunday-Thursday stay at budget prices. There are some eateries within walking distance. Our room experienced a water leak on the day of check out, which flooded the entire middle of the room. Pool was not heated, but clean. The iguanas that live there were cool to watch!!

Nothing at all poor customer service Dirty rooms . I had to cancel My stay and leave the hotel my room Smells bad and it was dirty.

I thought it was exceptionally clean and was very impressed by the pool bathroom cleanliness. I was a little upset by the elevator not working throughout my three night stay being on the 4th floor. But besides that it was great :)

this hotel is a scam. Actually, it's not like pictures at all. It has pretty old building. on the name of breakfast also it's a scam. They provide only smoothie in breakfast. No food at all.
- 1/5
After almost 40 minutes, they finally apologized and gave me a working key. On top of that, the room was never cleaned. This hotel service is very disappointing.
- 3/5
Only had 1 wash rag for 5 people in the room. Water in the tub was green. Not as nice as pictures made it appear but the view was fantastic! Great place to stay if you do not have kids.
- 5/5
The location was beautiful, peaceful, and super convenient. I had the breakfast buffet and it was absolutely delicious. The Sunday brunch had so many varieties, and everything was amazing. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I enjoyed my stay so much that I ended up booking an additional night. One of my favorite parts was doing morning yoga with Angela. She was wonderful, warm, and made the experience even better. Overall, I had a beautiful and relaxing stay, and I would definitely recommend The Palms Hotel & Spa for anyone looking for a beachfront getaway in Miami.
- 3/5
The elevator was not working and they did not tell us before assigning us 5th floor, it was difficult to carry the luggage 5 floors, the rest room lock was not properly working
- 1/5
The rooms were not like as shown on the pictures I seen online before purchasing, the walls walking too the rooms were dirty only thing good was the staff were helpful, when I asked why doesn’t the rooms look like the pictures shown on the web he told me that the pics were AI.this place is more like a motel far from the luxurious pics they posted on the web I was totally disappointed

My family and myself breifly stayed here. From the beginning it was bad. I had tapped my card to pay for the room which afterward they said that i cant do that but it took my money for a deposit which i still have not gotten back yet. During our 2 hour stay at this hotel we quickly learned that this place seriously does not show accurate pictures of the rooms. The pictures on Expedia looked very nice, large rooms, ocean view... not the case, the room we wanted had an ocean view, hardwood floors, spacious. What we actually got was a small, dirty carpet, leaking ceiling, no ocean view. We complained about this and they did in fact move us upstairs to a room that had hardwood floors was a little bigger but the refrigerator was about half the size of a mini fridge and we couldn't even fit our milk in it for our baby. This place is nothing what we thought it was going to be and the whole time it smelled like someone was smoking weed all over the property. we went down to the pool for about an hour and there was people just out in the open smoking weed around our children so we decided to check out 2 hours later and go to another motel. I am still trying to recoup some of my money since I booked this place for a 3-day stay and only stay for 2 hours but Expedia refused to do anything for me except for credit me a very small amount to my account. I will stay away from this hotel at all costs if I were you.
- 5/5
A great stay
- 2/5
It is not a clean place at all.
- 2/5
We checked in with a bay view room that was on the 5th floor and the elevator was not working. We had to move my mother to a first floor room with no view because her knees could not do the stairs. We got no refund for the price difference of the downgraded room. The 5th floor ice machine was not working. The patio chair seat on the balcony had been busted through and the TV remote was not working. Then we went to the pool where my son sat in a lounge chair and was cut by some glass shards that were in the chair. The on-site restaurant was not open the advertised hours and then the daily special that was listed as half off was charged full price. The chips and spinach dip was very overcooked and our waiter was on his phone and inattentive the whole time. I do not recommend staying here. The staff was nice enough but there was way too much wrong with our stay. Overpriced for the level of service.
- 4/5
The only thing I’d mention is that there is currently construction happening on the property, and work started around 8 AM during our stay, so light sleepers may want to keep that in mind. Other than that, we had a really nice experience and would stay again.
- 4/5
A very nice, clean and quiet place to stay
- 2/5
It could be such a cool hotel but it just isn’t being maintained…the price we paid was not worth it.
- 1/5
Besides the hotel needing some serious updates, the staff can't seem to print out a simple receipt for my recent stay. I will never stay here again
- 5/5

This hotel should be removed from any booking sites. They are not customer friendly and have no accommodation for the guest during the rain. The hotel guest staying in the balcony area literally have to go across the pool area to get to the front desk and no shelter provided out of the rain. They have no guest accommodation such as umbrellas to provide or assist guest increment weather. I literally got soaked going from my room to the front desk to caught and uber. So I was soaking wet going to my destination leaving the hotel. I called and asked about and umbrella and was told that no one had one and they were unable to provide accommodation for one. The room was nasty and the floors were sticky. I will never go back to that hotel not even if life depended on it.

- 5/5
Beautiful room, stunning views we absolutely loved it and the staff were very nice and helpful
- 4/5
The service was excellent—very attentive. The only things I didn't like were that there was no elevator and no small shop to buy snacks like chips or candy. The Pool very clean it was very relaxing Place.
- 2/5
Free Parking. Clean room.
- 5/5
Great stay and the restaurant was delicious!
- 5/5
We had a great stay, thanks…..
- 1/5
What a horrible experience. One of the worst. The hotel had no hot water to shower. The bed has bugs. I woke up with several bites all over my body. The elevators are broken so you have to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs. I tried to cancel this hotel while there and they wouldn't give me my money back. And the rooms look nothing like the pictures. Don't stay here!!!!!
- 5/5
Clean rooms. Go for the bay front rooms. It's worth the price. I will definitely be staying here again.
- 2/5
Bedroom sheets were dirty, room was muggy & very wet. Phone didn’t work when I trued to call to the front desk
- 5/5
Everything was fine , just need to fix the floor in the elevator
- 2/5
Looks great in pictures. Dirty and broken. Nothing worked during our stay.
- 1/5
We stayed in the 5th floor. Elevator didn’t work. Ice machine didn’t work. Pool was dirty. Construction next door woke us up in the morning. Just not worth staying here
- 5/5
It was nice and small
- 3/5
Pool seating is ok
- 3/5
Staff is ok, Location is good but the blanket where dirty and lamp with dust, i get super freak a guy also with a huge Weapon Rifle with long ammo without no cover getting out the property, one moment i get scared and the guy leave. Parking good and doors dont close well no impact sound proof. so a lot noise from the street.
- 1/5
Sewer smell coming from bathroom
- 5/5
Loved the quietness. Staff was friendly
- 4/5
No other hotel in Miami Beach offers the unique views like the Palm Tree Club. Perfect place to stay prior to your cruise. Tasty food and drinks with million dollar views from the restaurant/bar. Clean room and all the staff were perfectly professional and nice.
- 2/5
Staff was great, friendly and very attentive. Hotel is a dump though. It needs a lot of work, motel-like at best. The rooms and bathrooms were only repainted but falling apart which doesn’t make sense when the restaurant on-site is ridiculously overpriced. Good service and drinks but mediocre food, had to walk over to a different restaurant afterwards. Housekeeping tried opening the door regardless of being told no. We only needed to spend one night but I wouldn't stay there again or recommend.
- 3/5
Nice
- 5/5
Awesome pools and views. Rooms are spacious. The bathrooms are a little small. The ac wasnt working a couple nights. Bed is very comfortable. Theres a nightclub/restaurant connected on the water that is excellent. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay there again. The have a very convenient gift shop in the lobby.
- 3/5
Room was clean but elevators broken.
- 4/5
The hotel is obviously and very old facility that has been updated at some point. A bit tired but OK. The elevator in our wing of the hotel was broken, not sure how long, so we had to go up five flights of stairs to get to our bay view room. Nice view of the bay, once you go there. The clerk did offers us other options when we registered at the hotel, but we wanted to have the ocean view so we climbed the staris.
- 5/5
The room was clean, the only issue was the ceiling had some serious water damage. The hotel pool was clean and surrounding area was good. Staff was so, so mostly they were supposed to call when room was ready and they did not.
- 4/5
Pool was great, waited a long time to get our room and after an hour gave us another room instead… the pot smell was over the top for me.
- 4/5
Room was clean and they had updated the flooring, had self-parking that was very easy to access and there was always a spot. Bathroom pretty small but no problems at all with it. Overall if you plan on just being at the room to sleep this is great, if you are looking for your hotel to be a place you spend a lot of time with lots to do then this probably isn’t the best choice.
- 3/5
Nice staff. Comfortable bed. Generally clean. But this property desperately needs major repair and maintenance.
- 1/5
the room didn’t look like the picture. it’s so so old. furnitures were so old, the elevator floor was cracked and tiles falling apart. the bed sheets and comforter had multiple stains and we found a couple hair inside the bed, spider web in the ceiling. we booked it for 3 nights, but we left after one night. terrible hotel
- 2/5
Photos online are deceptive. No amenities and random resort fee is sprung on you
- 5/5
everything you need by the water
- 1/5
Would not stay again
- 1/5
I booked the hotel for my girlfriend and left the city for a night, I left a valid credit card and they kicked out my girlfriend of her hotel room because it was supposedly declined. After 4 hours of her sitting at the lobby they tried again the transaction and it went through. Horrible staff attention. Old amenities and dirty common areas.
- 1/5
The hotel is nothing like what you see on the pictures. The elevator floors were broken, Cleaning staff ONLY come once every 3 days. The rooms were not perfectly clean. Water clogging at the bath. Small rooms, broken digital clocks. Old TVs connected to cable that did not work. Pictures can be shared upon request. I didn't experience the outdoor pool. When asked for to extend for a day, I was told to book it online via 3rd party - as it was cheaper. The way it was explained seemed like they did not want to do it.
- 3/5
Elevators didn't work and we were put on the 4th floor. The hotel looked empty and we got in late so that was pretty frustrating that they did that. Balcony view was nice but hotel room needed maintenance. Overall an ok stay though
- 4/5
.
- 3/5
The bed was steel frame and it was not covered so I bumped into it twice, room was ok but no microwave. The cloth covering the bed frame was torn. The elevator floor was caved in and not felt safe. Other elevator was non operational. Hotel looks good pictures but reality is different. Free parking was good but no breakfast in the morning.
- 4/5
The view from waking up each morning was the best part
- 3/5
We ended up not staying at property as it did not meet our purposes to stay
- 1/5
Worst experience
- 3/5
Parking nwaw ok the TV only haz about 5 channels, shower was not that nice
- 5/5
Loved my bayfront view. Staff was great. Thanks for a nice stay. Elevator wasn't working but luckily steps were short.
- 5/5
Very nice stay. However the elevator was out of service.
- 1/5
The sink was leaking, which made the bathroom even worse, and the overall condition of the room made it very uncomfortable to stay. I ended up checking out after only about 6 hours because I saw a roach, which was completely unacceptable. Even the outdoor areas didn’t match the pictures. The furniture outside was worn down and looked neglected. The entire property feels run-down and nothing like what’s advertised. I would not recommend staying here. It needs serious cleaning, repairs, and honesty in how it’s presented online.
- 5/5
I initially was nervous because of the other reviews, but this hotel was great. The elevator was broken; its really not that bad there are only 5 floors. Everything was clean, the housekeeping staff asked what we needed, gave us extra towels and toilet paper. The room was spacious and clean, the AC worked beautifully as well as the internet. We had a probelm with our TV, we called and someone came up within 10 minutes and fixed it. Be careful with the room key and putting it with your other cards, one of ours stopped working and they immediatley gave us 2 new ones free of charge-no hassle. The staff was incredibly nice and even on our last day we checked out at 11 but our flight wasnt until later and they held our luggage for free in a safe place. I have no complaints, loved our stay! Great afforadable place in Miami to stay!
- 1/5
Staff were not accommodating my surgery needs and the elevator was out. No heads up. Bayfront view and up being water with trash
- 1/5
I booked 4 days at this hotel they didn’t have microwave in the room keys never worked I went to front desk 4 to 5 times a day to get new keys ! They kept charging my card multiple times & after I returned home from my stay I was charged I’m now constantly calling the hotel to get my refund there not responding I booked through Expedia and they have yet to respond to them there’s construction right buy hotel not sure if it’s connected to them it definitely effected me & my family stay I payed $1300 for 2 rooms and has never experienced this at any hotel PLEASE BE AWARE !!!!!
- 2/5
The room was filthy, the parking situation was an absolute nightmare, the location was not great.
- 4/5
The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice, check in was quick and easy. I stayed over for a cruise the next day and wasn't expecting a lot, but this hotel was very clean and had a beautiful view too. They are undergoing renovations, I might try and come back after they are complete.
- 5/5
Nice place and decent!
- 1/5
Could not use the restaurant for breakfast cause it was closed. The front desk staff is very rude
- 5/5
Parqueo fácil, muy buena piscina
- 4/5
Palm Tree Club Miami is a nice hotel, we enjoyed our stay there. Great location, easy to get to. Nice pool, fantastic view from our balcony room overlooking Biscayne Bay. Only negatives were the check-in process, which was taking ~ 8 minutes per guest and there were 7 guests in front of us. Took about an hour to get checked in, but the lobby area is nice. Restaurant was very average and expensive, and ridiculously charged a "venue fee" on top of all other charges...and there was nothing going on! Parking costs extra as well...about $45 per night.
- 4/5
The room when I first arrived was dirty but when I went to the front desk the staff were amazing and made my stay feel so much better. She switched my room and allowed me to look at it prior the switch. I just wish the hotel had a microwave. The pool was lovely and clean. The staff was amazing. Just hope that they had toothbrushes to purchase and a razor. Please think about have a microwave in the main lobby if management doesn’t want them in the room.

I did not use the pool so cannot comment on that. I had booked the hotel to rest for the night. At check-in, the lady at reception was giving me a room at 5th level in the second building but reminded me that elevator didn’t work so I had to go up and down on my own. Since my knees was busted, I was given a room on level 1. The room smelt musty and bathroom had a smell of sewage. The carpet was very old and stained. The room was decent size but the bathroom was perhaps 6 feet wide at the maximum. The tub, wash basin and pot was inches from each other. If it wasn’t late and I tired I would have moved to a different location for sure. It definitely was on the cheaper end on Expedia but I really cannot fathom what people liked here, other than it was close to waters
- 5/5
Everything was good until housekeeping trashed my $30 wagu burger pissed me off cuz i was definitely hungry and disappointed
- 5/5
Clean room. Great views
- 2/5
Stayed for two nights. Due to booking error (ours) we had to book a second night separately. The hotel refused to combine the stay, but kept us in the same room both nights. We were charged $300 deposit instead of the standard $150. The rooms are clean but very dated. The elevators do not work. The toilet in our room ran all night, there was no maintenance to repair. There is a tub but don’t expect to use it unless you’re 3’ tall. Water is $8 bottle. A hamburger at the restaurant will set you back $30+ tip. No ice machine on the ground floor. It’s time for a serious property update and some customer service training for the staff.
- 4/5
The elevators weren’t working for the second property and that’s where you get the nicer views too but on higher floors. We had to bring our luggage all the way up to the 5th floor.
- 1/5
Completely different than pictures portray old and outdated! I booked 2 expensive rooms for my family thankfully only 1 night, booked this because of the ocean view and beach pictures! Constant Loud traffic noise, the light from the security lights shined brightly under the huge gap from around the door, the bathroom was so small and horrible patch job from multiple leaks a child must have repaired and painted walls. Resort fee charged there is nothing offered it’s like an old motel on the highway! The restaurant was on the harbor but crazy expensive 357$ for bar food nachos hamburger and salad and few drinks, automatic up charged 20% for 4 adults and 1 child! Very very disappointing they should pay you to stay there!

Good
- 3/5
- 5/5
It’s ok looks old but is kind of cute needs upgrades
- 3/5
Medium: The rooms were just ok, they had cute paintings on the walls and had a beechy vibe. The bad: They looked worn; the handle in the bathroom was coming loose; no door separated the shower and sink; the elevator was not in service; and we were on the 5th floor. The area next door was under construction. The woman at the desk when I got there early seemed really annoyed that I was checking in before 4 but then at 4 the line was insane! They make you pay for the Coffe in the lobby, make it yourself, and there's no coffee maker in the room. There was a lizard in the gym. The pool was too cold to swim in. I could hear the kid in the neighboring room throwing a tantrum, and the cars passing by on the street were very loud. There were pros and cons, but overall, I won't be recommending this hotel to friends.
- 4/5
Only thing I can complain about is that house keeping only came once within our 6 day stay, only upon our request. There were some construction work going on the side of the building which really made the place feel slightly overwhelming. The room was clean, but smaller than we expected which made moving our luggage around very difficult. Like I said, it’s a good place to stay if you’re not planning to spend all day in the hotel.
- 1/5
Room was on the 5th floor. However, the elevator was not working. Also, next door they are doing construction, which started at 7am.
- 1/5
There was also a lot of disturbing screaming and fighting from other guests in the wee hours of the morning. To top it off our door keys kept de-magnitizing and we had to walk down the 2 flights to get it fixed. We saw many other guests with the same issue as well. During our last night, we had food in the mini fridge that spoiled because it simply stopped working. This was not how I expected to end our trip. We were very disappointed in this hotel. The absolute highlight was the view. It was beautiful, but I would never recommend it to anyone.
- 4/5
The location and views to the lakes are great, staffs are friendly, the hotel room floor is a bit dirty.
- 1/5
Based on the lack of cleanliness and the place in disrepair, we did not go in pool.
- 1/5
the hotel is dirty. the type you don’t even want to walk barefoot in your room or touch the shower curtains. i would never stay here again the only thing good about it is the location. the room and the hotel smell old and bad.i’m
- 1/5
Everything was extremely dirty and outdated. If you don’t want roaches and bugs crawling in your bed do not come here
- 4/5
Pool side was comfy and parking was safe and convenient.
- 5/5
great service
- 4/5
Great location great view. Restaurant next door was excellent. Could use a little touch up and TLC but otherwise comfortable and clean and pretty quiet. Would return.
- 1/5
There was know kitchen
- 5/5
Clean room, nice pool with towel and sunscreen station
- 5/5
Felt safe, clean. No issues.
- 5/5
We’ve stayed here 2x now. Clean and reliable. Parking included. Nice pool and lovely views.
- 3/5
.
- 3/5
The property list they have a resturant. The resturant has been close since last year and is not plan on reopening. I had to walk a half mile in the cold to the nearest open facility
- 1/5
We were double charged by Expedia and the hotel. Currently in a dispute over the charges. Rooms were dated and not the cleanest. The tub did drain and pipes were visible under the sink. Did not stay long.
- 3/5
Floors uneven pool area. To much construction
- 5/5
Great parking, music venue/ restaurant next door. No beach close but beautiful sea side views.
- 3/5
Property was ok. Pool area was nice with complimentary sunscreen. Hotel has no breakfast / restaurant service which was inconvenient.
- 5/5
The pool is amazing, the rooms and everything works. It looks a little old but it has everything you need.
- 3/5
My room was clean, modern with a comfortable bed. The parking was good and I felt very safe on the property. Not having coffee in my room or complimentary in the lobby was something I haven't experienced in a long time.
- 1/5
Rooms are outdated in inside parking lot makes the property look like a dump. Beware
- 3/5
We had reserved a room with a king size bed but the room was only two double beds. It was late at night and we were tired, and we had just walked up to the third floor because the elevator was out of order. We called the front desk to see if we could change but no one answered, so we just stayed in the room. Had to sleep in separate beds because my husband is very tall (which is why we wanted the king). We also didn’t realize there was a very loud nightclub as part of the property. Fortunately it stopped at 10pm but some of the spring breakers were staying at the hotel so it was noisy off and on through the night. Also didn’t realize there would be an additional resort fee of $45 (for two nights). The iron was broken so we asked for a new one. No coffee in the room which would have been nice. Had to buy it in the lobby (free coffee in the lobby would have been nice). Parking was free, which was appreciated.
- 1/5
Staff was cool! Rooms need improvement. Charging a resort fee but don't provide any amenities aside from a pool, no breakfast, no entertainment. Will charge another night just for late check out
- 5/5
The only issues i had was getting them to answer the phone was hard. I made a mistake in booking and couldnt get ahold of anyone. And the elevator wasnt working. Otherwise this place is totally worth it.
- 1/5
first room had mold on the curtains and bed frame so we got moved to another room on the first floor with a sliding door to the parking garage which didn’t properly close or lock luckily the maintenance guy could come fix it
- 2/5
Ugh I hate leaving a negative review, but I also hate being priced gauged on something totally not aligned with the quality.
- 3/5
Room very Clean. The door lock was missing on arrival but team sent someone very quickly to install a new one. Rooms very old and smell a bit musty.
- 3/5
It’s was like picture
- 1/5
Me DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
- 4/5
Overall I give this a 4 star. Good for the price, but you have to know what you’re getting into. Elevator does not work, try to get room on 1st or 2nd floor. Ants in the bathroom. Cleaning service once every 3 days. We kept asking for towels at least and we kept asking for them, we didn’t get it until the last day. Nothing was wrong with the room key. I would rate this hotel that bad because the price was good. I liked it. Room was clean besides the ants in the bathroom. Bed sheets clean. Tv working just old. Balcony a little dirty but it’s okay. I enjoyed it. Thank you.
- 4/5
Genaral was okay i didn’t have any issues kinda like it also
- 2/5
They overbooked and said they couldn’t rebook another hotel through their system when I arrived in the middle of the night. Not very reliable. Staff was cold too. Will not come back.
- 4/5
poolside is beautiful
- 2/5
elevator did not work. Noisy till 2am and starting at 5am.
- 1/5
I should have forfeited my money as soon as they wouldn’t return any of my calls, emails, and messages. The hotel is old. And it’s NOT a hotel. It’s a MOTEL. Pay for a ‘premium’ suite and you get dirty floors, hair in the tub, an old worn down desk and chair. The air conditioning didn’t work at all. The mini fridge is laughable - can’t put anything in it. And the balcony doors don’t slide. Overall TERRIBLE stay. My partner couldn’t sleep the whole night because of the humidity in the room. There’s still toothpaste on the faucet after the previous guests. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
- 1/5
Restaurant close, staff very dry, elevator is closed, 3 floors up with my suitcase nobody offers to help; in the morning they knock the doors like very rude.
- 5/5
Our room was clean and comfortable.
- 1/5
They are building another condo complex next door, you heard the construction starting at 6 am. This also was not mentioned by the hotel. Would not recommend this place.
- 1/5
Worst check in experience I have ever had. I got there at four and there were no rooms available as they were still being cleaned. I had to wait in a long line several times to keep checking to see if amy opened up. After a few hours we finally got our room keys on our way to the room. The elevator didn’t work so we had to carry our huge suitcases up three flights of stairs. Then when we got to our room, it wasn’t very clean at all, and there was a huge loogie in our sink.
- 4/5
There was a party but hotel guests could not go; I think they should have access at least at a special rate. Instead, had to try to sleep with all the noise.
- 2/5
Elevator broke parking limited
- 1/5
Room keys did not work; elevator broken; fraudulent charges against my credit card. The hotel was in terrible condition.
- 1/5
Came to check in at 3:50 for 4PM "check-in" at which time the room was not ready and was told it would be about 20 minutes. We came back an hour later and the room was still not ready and then were informed that the room we booked (king) was not even available. The room we did get was still dirty in the bathroom upon arrival. Elevators don't work. There was absolutely nothing in the room other than an empty mini fridge but were charged $20 for a 1L "Fiji water" bottle and "mini bar tip/tax". Upon check in or check out, no one informed us of any charges regarding this until after the card was charged (meaning no receipt was provided until I had to call myself to ask why I was charged incorrectly). No one in management responded to resolve the issue. This place should be classified as a motel not a hotel.
- 1/5
Very dirty rooms broken shower no microwave and very dusty and dirty room curtains etc
- 1/5
Noisy environment, room had a strong smell, the door lock for extra security was broken, the patio door wouldn’t shut all the way. The towels had hair on them.
- 4/5
Great stay!
- 1/5
Elevators not working and they gave us a room on the fifth floor. The smell of Marijuana in the stairways is very strong
- 2/5
Road construction crew began right outside our door around 10:30 pm and went through the night. Thankful for earplugs. But ridiculous to not be informed when making reservations. Called hotel with a check-in question on the way, around 4:45 PM, no answer. Ever. Room and property were clean. However, room was not stocked for 2 guests: 3 towels, one hand towel, one washcloth. Front counter refused our simple request at 8:15 PM for exta washcloth and hand towel as "housekeeping was done for the night". No coffee in the room. Coffee available downstairs for a fee. $8 bottles of water available in the room. Two way traffic on their one-car width driveway with a blind sharp corner - no safety mirror or way to see what's coming at you as you enter and exit. Elevator tile floor is cracked and sinks when stepped on. Elevator door doesnt open on its own - sign instructs you to push button to exit. Something fishy about a hotel with enough capital funding to make it look good on the surface, but can't afford.to fix its elevator door or floor, provide front desk with a stack of extra housekeeping items for guests in the evening, or offer a complimentary cup of coffee. Wish I'd read the Google reviews before booking through Hotel.com.
- 2/5
Hotel sin servicio de limpieza diario
- 2/5
The elevators at this establishment were not in operation for guests. We were not informed by expedia or the hotel about this ahead of our arrival. We definitelywould have changed the hotel if we had known because we are a party of 4 and each had a 40lbs+ luggage plus carry-ons etc. Additionally they put us in the second building on the 5th floor (the top floor). They did send someone to help us once we brought it to their attention. However, when we checked out they sent someone but they only would take the bigger bags we had. We had to carry our carry ons and other items down 5 flights of stairs with a young child. When we tried speaking to front desk when we wanted some kind of refund for this experience, they said that they could help us find somewhere else to stay if we wanted to leave. While we wanted to leave of course it wasn't realistic given the late notice and challeneges of moving a family of four to a completely different hotel, so that comment really seemed to be coming from a snarky place. With all that being said, the room itself was clean enough and the pool was nice. Another factor to consider about this hotel is that there is apparently a big party and this hotel every weekend. I think this might contribute to why it's pretty affordable. The parking lot gets crazy as there are police and security yelling and trying to sort out people going to the party vs going to the hotel. Also, there are a lot of people right outside the pool area trying to get in.
- 3/5
It was fine
- 5/5
Staff was friendly, room and beds were clean and comfortable. Amazing views and docks for my husband and kids to fish!
- 2/5
Overall, pics are deceiving. Not sure if price is what it is out here but definitely can see lot of code violations. Even elevator had expired certificate hanging and multiple safe issues on it too.
- 5/5
Clean spacious room, great location and amazing views.
- 2/5
The elevator was broken service is ok people are nice but the room are no really nice you pay $8 for one water and room was almost $400
- 2/5
The place was not clean
- 5/5
I love the old fashioned Miami glam of this resort. The color scheme is great, the lobby has been renovated, and the pool is such a relaxing environment. Clean rooms, all the amenities, and the front desk staff was amazing. We had a refreshing stay!
- 5/5
Good
- 3/5
Room was dated but clean. Staff as courteous and responsive. We had 3 adults so had to request the bedding for the pull out sofa twice. Restaurant was nice but be prepared to pay a service fee
- 1/5
We stayed in this room for four nights and, on the very last evening before check-out, we noticed that the walls were covered with black mold under the wallpaper. We were sleeping in a hazardous environment for four nights. This room should not be provided to guests until it has been treated for mold. I strongly advise against staying here.
- 5/5
Nice staff
- 2/5
When arriving to the room we noticed a lot of small ants in the bathroom and a roach. Secondly the bathroom curtain smelled rotten and it was pretty much overuse.
- 5/5
Room good, view incredible, staff very helpful
- 3/5
Great views
- 2/5
Light was broken and shower wouldn’t drain, elevator was also down
- 1/5
Worst Experience
- 1/5
The evaluator outt of service, a mini fridge, no microwave in the hotel
- 5/5
Nice and well kept up.
- 3/5
The elevator was the worst part. It needs to be serviced. I would have thought for the price of the room it would have been updated. I guess they were going off the fact that it’s by the water.
- 2/5
Had to call for towels to take a shower balcony door was stuck. Floor dirty loud music every morning door card wasn't working popularly everytime we exit the room kids running around all night through the halls playing people hanging around your door smoking weed fussing and being loud at 1am and 2am in the morning horrible stay never again and could not wait to leave
- 5/5
Elevator broken Won’t hire anyone for work past 9
- 3/5
The room was very nice. It was clean. When we arrived it was cold outside and needed to turn the heat on a little bit, but it did not work. There was no microwave or coffee maker. They sold coffee out of a machine in the main lobby for 2.50 a cup. The pool was great (not heated). There were a few places nearby to get groceries or restaurant within walking distance(the on site restaurant was closed and does not seem to be any activity in starting it back up). The staff was super friendly. It also had a nice view of the bay. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
- 3/5
Not their fault Miami was cold, but no functioning heat in the building made for 2 nights at 58 degrees in the room. They gave us multiple blankets and refunded the resort fee. Also, loud club next door, so loud music late into the evening. Challenging parking when the club is open and elevator needs repairs. Dated rooms and bathroom was small with a bathtub that had an unstable floor.
- 1/5
Very unsafe .. I can’t help it that someone was trying get in , luckily I woke went the bathroom and the check living room and wanted to shut off the but saw the door open , like your whole hand can go through.. so I quickly lock and my spouse was not happy when that happened… never experienced or expected that to happen 😂
- 3/5
the room needed some repair the stuff was unhelpful
- 1/5
needs lots of TLC lots of noise from next door HVAC did not work
- 1/5
Room was not clean when we entered. Someone else's clothes was in our bed. I requested room cleaning on day 2 and still did not get the room cleaned... Each day I had to ask for towels from the front desk. They said they only clean after day 3 of your stay.. wth? Worst place I've been.. and it wasn't cheap either!
- 2/5
No restaurant. Stayed on 5th floor no elevator View was good but would not stay again.
- 1/5
Upon viewing both of the rooms we found the original room was beautiful with an amazing bay view, but it wasn’t realistic to carry luggage up four flights of stairs. The downgraded room was small, had an odd smell, the thermostat wouldn’t work (it was freezing all night), and the “view” was basically an obstructed parking lot. Staff admitted the missing elevator part has been on back order for weeks, meaning they likely knew this issue in advance. The front desk representative (Walter) was smug and unapologetic, and the hotel did not cooperate when my agent attempted to contact them regarding a refund for the downgrade. I would not recommend booking here unless you confirm the elevator is working.
- 2/5
We were given the wrong room over by a noise construction site. I had to take my reservation records to the front desk to get the right room. There was no restaurant on the property as it said in the description. No access to the ocean as in the pictures.
- 1/5
This is the worst hotel I ever stayed in my life.
- 4/5
Great view, room was clean, and decent size for Miami. However, elevator was broken and parking is difficult due to club downstairs.
- 1/5
It's really a shame. This place could be so much better. It's at a great location, but the motel is falling apart. Leaky faucets, toilet seat was not bolted to the toilet. Bubbling paint behind toilet shows there were leaks behind wall. I saw tons of mold on the roofing. Generally the place is in disrrepair and appear to have not been kept up with in years. Side note: no coffee in the room. Instead you have to go down to the lobby to a coffee dispensing machine and pay $2.50 for a tiny cup of coffee. Luckily was only there for a couple nights, but any longer i would've switched hotels.
- 2/5
Elevator broken. Tv stuck in store mode so it reset every 10 minutes and overall just dirty. Wasn’t an ideal 2nd night of a honeymoon
- 1/5
I was shocked when I first entered this hotel. The hotel was really dirty. The staff are terrible and liars. I stayed for 3 days and the phone in the room wasnt working and the AC was making a loud noise. I notified their staff and they told me they will fix it but during my 3 day stay no one came to fix it. I always book my hotels through expedia and this hotel was the equivalent of a catfish, the pictures did not look like the hotel at all! I am disappointed that expedia has such filthy hotels on their website. They even charged me $69 for their "resort" but it was a below average pool and gym. To add to all of this there were insects in the room! I even have pictures. I would have changed hotels but did not find an available one in such short notice but those 3 days I spent were probably the worst stay I have ever experienced.
- 4/5
The room was good and so as the check-in but unfortunately the bathtub was clogged and it filled up to my ankles every time I took a shower.
- 3/5
The hotel was dirty and nothing worked. The walls, furniture, and bedding were in poor condition. We had to get our key card reset twice in the 12 hours we were there.
- 3/5
The bed wasn’t that great
- 3/5
Elevator was broken, so had to carry luggage up 5 flights of stairs on the back side of the restaraunt next to the dumpsters. Parking lot had pretty good size sink holes. They did offer to give me a ground floor room, but it was a down grade from what I paid for and no view. The staff was great, the bay view was beautiful room was decent for an older property, just need some upgrades.$200+ per night plus a resort fee and no coffee maker in the room
- 1/5
. I checked in during a cold weather advisory in Florida (temperatures dropping to 40°F/6°C). My room had NO WORKING HEATING. The HVAC unit was broken and blowing cold air. When I reported this to the front desk: -They had no portable heaters. -They offered no alternative room with heat. -They showed zero concern for my safety in a freezing room. I was forced to leave immediately and book another hotel just to have a safe, habitable place to sleep. The worst part is the management's unethical behavior. Since I booked via a third party (Expedia), the hotel refused to authorize a refund despite NOT providing the service I paid for. They even ignored repeated calls from Expedia's support team to resolve the issue. They essentially took my money for a room that was uninhabitable. Do not risk your vacation or your wallet here. There are plenty of honest hotels in Miami; this is not one of them.
- 2/5
This hotel is not a 3-star property. The room looks so much more different from the pictures in the listing. The room is small and the bathroom is dingy. The elevator was damaged and scary. There is not even a coffee maker in the room. Definitely not worth the $45 resort fees.
- 1/5
Room was decent, everything else was a total disaster, pictures must be photo shopped, do not stay here. Youve been warned.
- 2/5
YES HEATER WAS NOT WORKING, ELEVATOR NOT WORKING, THE WHOLE HOTEL IS GETTING REMODEL VERY POOR CONDITION AND THEY ONLY CLEAN ROOMS EVERY 3 DAYS "SAD" HOTEL
- 5/5
Can not beat this sweet little hotel on the bay for the price! Spent 2 nights at Sagamore and paid over $1800 when all said and done. Decided to save a few bucks and wish I would have stayed here the entire time! Pretty views of the bay, sweet little pool and outdoor lounge area, clean room, updated lobby. So it's not a 5 star hotel but it was in a great location, felt like a throw back in time and every bit as comfortable as the expensive hotel with rude people!! Nice staff too!!
- 3/5
The hotel was a little tired looking and the room was not fully clean when we arrived with hair in the bathroom and dust under the bed. At the time of the visit the bar / restaurant on site was closed for refurbishment and there are not a lot of options around the site for food and drink. Overall the hotel was adequate for our needs and the room was comfortable with a great comfy bed. Car park on site was good and the location was good for visiting both Miami and Miami Beach if you have a car.
- 1/5
Checked out before time…the hotel was dirty and the bed was lopsided on one side and the elevator was broken I had to carry me and my wife bags up 3 flights of stairs…room was dirty…dirt on the floor in the room…the curtains was dirty in the room…overall the hotel was not what I saw on Expedia…NOTHING AT ALL
- 2/5
The elevator wasn’t working at all. When we requested to change rooms they said they were sold out and didn't accommodate. The parking situation was not ideal either as part of the hotel had reserve parking only for the event and I told them I was a guess at the hotel. In addition, the shower needed maintenance.
- 5/5
Lovely
- 5/5
Older art deco spot. Rooms are clean and fine
- 1/5
I’ve been to Miami many times, and this was by far my worst hotel experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and I genuinely don’t understand how it is advertised as a 3-star hotel. Very disappointed.
- 1/5
Room was not clean at least not up to top quality. Hotel looks better on website. Ice machine broken on my floor, no printer services, restaurant closed - I want a refund
- 3/5
Not expected
- 1/5
Run down place very unprofessional. Brocken furniture, zero customer service support
- 3/5
Also was traveling solo and was looking forward to eating at the restaurant on site which seemed easier than going somewhere by myself and apparently it was closed (on a Tuesday) but no mention if it was because of the day or closed in general. It's run down and for the price it's not worth it.
- 1/5
Everything about my stay was terrible. Construction all night, no microwave, phone didnt have a cord, front desk did not answer when called to say remote did not work, clock did not work, one washcloth, restaurant closed, no beachfront view, rude front desk people. If I could, Id ask for my money back.
- 3/5
The hotel itself is a bit dated but clearly they too
- 4/5
The hotel is cute and clean. There are minor cosmetic things that need attention but it was a nice comfortable room!
- 5/5
best cost-benefit ratio
- 2/5
Elevators were not working the whole stay, walked up 5 floors. Restaurant also closed although website and social media make it appear as if it’s open. Only good thing was that the view from the bay front room was accurate.
- 5/5
Decent place. Room was nice and clean. Easy parking, good location.
- 5/5
Everything
- 1/5
Door looked like it had been kicked in. Had one tv channel. Ceilings looked like they could fall in very run down. Noise horrible you could hear everyone and everything all hours. Booked a 4 days only stay 1 and of course no refund
- 3/5
Staff at the desk was great. Our room had a funny smell and when we opened the bathroom there was a moldy smell from the shower
- 2/5
- 5/5
Good place
- 1/5
Our infant developed rashes on her legs from the dirty floor, making this situation not just unpleasant but a genuine health hazard. The staff repeatedly claimed cleaning “is not their department” and only responded after I sent a formal email to management days later. By then, the damage was done — our four-day stay was completely ruined. Even the “apology” from management came too late and felt like damage control rather than accountability. No family should have to go through such conditions, especially when paying premium rates expecting comfort and cleanliness. We checked out early just to get our family somewhere hygienic after four sleepless nights. I would strongly warn others to reconsider before booking here — cleanliness, professionalism, and guest care are severely lacking.
- 2/5
The room was not the room I booked through Expedia. It was supposed to be a junior suite, and it was just a regular room two double beds. The front desk told me Expedia booked the wrong room. Very unpleasant way to end a honeymoon.
- 1/5
Dirty, lack amenities. No restaurant pool was unheard and freezing. Glad to have left will never be back.
- 4/5
Comfortable bed, clean room, nice pool, friendly staff, and free parking!
- 1/5
My room was not available and apparently given to someone else. The hotel said someone used "Expedia" to book my reservation and made a mistake when i only used Travelocity. I had no choice but to accept a lesser room for the night.
- 1/5
The pillows are hard and very uncomfortable, I woke up with a headache. We got stuck in the elevator went up and down and the door didn’t open, the floor is broken and it is hot in there. After yelling for help someone opened the door on the first floor. We had all the language and had to take the stairs.
- 3/5
The couch was very dirty. When we opened it to use it a cockroach came out. We rented the unit to have the extra bed. Hairdryer fell off the wall. The elevator didn’t work well. We stayed in a junior suit on the second floor and it was not worth the money spent.
- 1/5
Absolutely not I did not stay there. It was dirty in rundown there was no restaurant it looked like something that should’ve been a 69.99rent for the hour kind of motel. Not a place that I would expect for two females traveling alone out of state to stay did not feel safe very very disappointed. We literally checked in and checked out and I went and got another hotel.
- 2/5
We made our reservations 3+ before our stay. We had two rooms reserved. When we arrived, the parking lot and the elevator closet to our rooms was closed and blocked off due to a DJ being at the club area attached to the hotel. We had to park at the far tower and walk our family and luggage through the pool area and then take stairs to the third floor. We were told this at check in, not before. This made finding other accommodations unrealistic and no other rooms offered by the hotel.
- 4/5
was smelling weird
- 3/5
The first room we were in was leaking from the vent in the entryway ceiling. No other rooms available. After 2 days we were able to move to another room. The floor in our new room was very dirty. Luckily we had slippers to wear. They were black on the bottom from walking on the floor. We also had ants in our bathroom. I don’t remember name of the young man working the front desk, but he was very nice, helpful, and gave us another room plus a bottle of champagne. He went out of his way to make us satisfied. He also gave us advice and info on certain places to see and go. The best thing I can say was we had a great view.
- 1/5
The elevator was broken, the staff walked into my room without knocking, room was right above a very loud night club, there was no coffee in room,
- 2/5
This is an old motel. Rooms were ok but dated. No working phone, no radio. TV had good source of channels. Front desk staff not very friendly. Coffee vending machine in lobby was super expensive with very poor tasting coffee. We ended up having to go to a coffee shop/bakery down the road.
- 5/5
Great location
- 1/5
Elevators don’t work, no parking, broken laundry facilities floor was filthy dirty. Hotel in need of major repairs. Front desk could not accommodate a request close to the laundry facility as elevators weren’t working and I’m disabled. My son’s feet and knees were full of dirt after staying in our room. Housekeeping knocked on our door at exactly 11am and asked us to check out. Bad experience overall and would never stay there again.
- 1/5
They didn't have the room type that I booked without going up 4 flights of steps. The room they put me in is tiny with barely any room between the bed & table against the wall. The water is tinted green & maintenance denied that it is green. The pool closed at 7pm. Front desk doesn't answer phone but was on his phone with no customers in front of him.
- 3/5
The pictures have you fooled. Only great thing about our stay is that we could look at the water we woke in the a.m. besides that their fragrance machine was overpowering the fact that this was a OLD HOTEL. Plus I was surprised with a 150 deposit fee, that I didn’t budget for, so I was upset with that.
- 2/5
The place is amazing , but the management is horrible. I had to check out a day early due to a death in my family. I asked for a refund for the one night and they said no. I feel that is very heartless.
- 4/5
Loved the pool area, it was a bit crowded so I would recommend getting more lounge chairs
- 1/5
Weird parking, elevator was broken so I had to carry my bags up the steps, the property looks better online than in-person
- 2/5
Staff was not helpful when I commented that nothing worked in the room. I couldn't order room service, keys kept not working so I had to have them recharged twice a day. I was charged extra fees upon arrival I was not warned about and it wasn't a small fee either.
- 4/5
Place is a great location, but could have sworn it was a free breakfast when I booked . Room could have used a cleaning in between nights and didn’t receive. Nice pool and very nice staff .

Great

Palm Tree Club is not a hotel. It’s like a rundown motel with photos online that look nothing like the real property. The only accurate word to describe this place is FILTHY. Our room was shockingly dirty — black mold above the bed, filthy walls, a clogged and disgusting shower, and broken fixtures in the bathroom. When we asked for another room, we were told they were “completely sold out,” as if anyone should be expected to stay in conditions like this. Nobody should ever be put in a room this filthy with BLACK MOLD. This isn’t just about dirt. This is a health concern. The elevator didn’t work, so we had to haul our luggage up three floors. The entire experience was unacceptable from start to finish. Look at these photos… I had to share. Normally I wouldn’t say anything, but this crosses the line. This property has serious sanitation and safety issues. Stay far away.
- 1/5
1. The hotel staff claims it’s a double queen size bed. But it’s 2 full beds!!! I had a tape in my truck, and it’s only 53x80”Not queen beds!!! False advertisement! 2. The infrastructure is older than what we expected. The elevator has cracked tiles and soft floor. It sinks when you step on it. My kids are scared to use it; 3. Bathtub is made out of cheap thin acrylic or plastic, it sinks down when stepping on it. 4. The location is not bad. But I still don’t recommend it at all.
- 1/5
Rat in room rustling through the bin waking us up. Rat droppings around bin in room. 2 star motel at best.
- 1/5
No ice. No elevator.
- 3/5
Room was large, clean and quiet. Its an older hotel but theres a charm to it. Balcony made it better. The staff all seem bothered to be working. There is no breakfast. You have to pay for coffee. The pool is nice. It feels like old school gangsters stayed there. Thats the charm. If you arent expecting too much but dont want to stay somewhere gross this place is an optio
- 2/5
Room was clean which was the only positive - ice machine was broken- elevator was broken and we were in the top floor. No breakfast served. The place needs a refresh it looks shady from the outside - the room was clean and smelled great. But it’s in need of a lot of cleanup
- 1/5
Room waa different than pictures. Washroom was horrible during showering water wasn't going to drain properly. No housekeeping services. Just looks good in pictures not in reality.
- 2/5
Pee on the bed when I first got there with my two little children . they never came to fix it . Water bottle are 8 bucks - dirty- not what I expected .
- 1/5
Worst hotel to stay
- 3/5
The double beds are on a smaller side and can’t be shared between two adults at all. Beware of this if you are getting a deluxe double room.
- 1/5
Old water in the bathtub, filthy handprints on everything, dirty towels no sheets or pillows for extra bed and told we could ask housekeeping in the morning for some. We were staying one night Ended up leaving and paying for another hotel at 10pm with 3 kids
- 3/5
Good location, the property has great potential with a little more investment.
- 3/5
Also, the front desk lady was really snippy when I asked for beach towels, I was accused of trying to steal them. They ended up bringing regular towel to our room instead. Maybe a language barrier issue but nevertheless her approach could’ve been different.
- 1/5
I was told I would get a call when my room was ready. Never happened. Stood around for hours
- 5/5
Un lugar muy bonito con una gran vista
- 1/5
Elevator was not working so I had to pick my luggage to 5th floor. Staff was non cooperative and rude.
- 3/5
The room had a refrigerator, but no microwave. There was no microwaves in the whole place. There was no complementary coffee in the morning. Nobody was in the restaurant, although the restaurant looked very nice but no one was there.
- 1/5
I would consider this hotel a scam. None of the photos matched online and I was very disappointed when I arrived. I also had to pay a resort fee, when there were no amenities to speak of. I was at the hotel for about 2 hours when I realized there was a cockroach in my bathroom, that I had to dispose of myself. I asked to speak to management because I wanted my money back or at least an apology. The manager never called me and I have yet to hear anything. The room, the hotel and surrounding areas were dirty and not cared for. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I will not be returning.
- 1/5
Booked for 2 nights and unable to make it the first day because I was stuck at different location. So I tried to call and inform Hotel that I will come next day and no one picked the call. I came to hotel next day to check in and they didn't let me. Told me they marked in no show. I at least asked for refund or let me stay one my two reserved days. They said no to both even though hotel is not full and she told me room reserved for me is actually empty and if I want, I need to pay again for whole day and book. Even after I tried calling them to inform the first day that I will come 2nd day and after there fault not picking up call. I simply lost $260 which is basically nothing other than robbing people and on top of that stolen money, I didn't get a room to stay. I hope managers see this and talk to the girl who is in the reservation counter and take serious actions and I hope they stop robbing
- 1/5
No elevator working, elevator certificate expired and 2 years ago. No AC working. Only the reception is wonderful otherwise everything else was worse.
- 1/5
Our room was filthy, not cleaned, hairs and body liquids on sheets, no staff available onsite when we checked in. Awful experience -10 stars!!! Do not stay here!!!!!!!
- 5/5
And it had a balcony! There aren't many hotels left that have balconies. And free parking! My ONLY complaint was that I couldnt watch the football game which was on regular local tv. I was here for just an overnight stay to be closer to an appointment I had the next day, since I live almost 3jrs away
- 1/5
Horrific. We got stuck in an elevator, the floor of the elevator was cracked, the property is run down and the room was gross. We left within 5 minutes of arriving an weere told we’d get a full refund. I’m still waiting becase Palm Tree Club leant answer their phones. Avoid at all costs.

- 3/5
The elevator wasn’t working and we stayed on the 5th floor
- 1/5
Elevator was not working and I was placed on the fifth floor. The room phone did not work, so I had to use my personal phone to contact the front desk. The only alternative offered was a different building with two full beds instead of a king. The room was poorly maintained and the AC was full of dust. Very disappointing stay.
- 2/5
When I booked the room I was told I was to pay 22.60 when I checked in. Upond checking in I was told I have to pay a security fee of 150.00... was not told that by Experian that I booked the room. They would not accept cash, two days prior two bank accounts were hacked so the accounts were closed and to send new debit cards in mail. I would not be refunded my money for room I had a credit card that was to be used for the crusie. ... Required to have a balance of 300.00 the desk clerk INSISTED I pay 150.00 and when I checked out it would be refunded that day. So I gave him my only card. Would not give me a receipt! Next morning that clerk so oh no I'll see the refunfg 3-5 days. My heart hurt so bad ... How was I to put 150.00 back on that card for the ship. Can't with closed accounts for a week, I was so sick, yes my cruise was ruined. I checked my credit card 3 days later my card was charged 172.60 next day I discover 32.04 was charged and a refund 138.50. I only owed 22.60, what happened to 9.44 what was that for? There was no damage to the room I left it cleaner than I found it. The was a bath tub ring which I cleaned, toilet had pubic hair in back of toilet which I also cleaned. Elevator door would not open when going to 3rd floor. 5.00 for a 5 oz cup of coffee was rediculious. want 9.44 added back to my credit card.

It was terrible

This is not a couple-friendly nor a family-friendly property. Learn from my mistake and stay away for your peace of mind. This experience almost ruined our vacation...
- 5/5
Five-star service in every sense. The food, the room, and the overall experience were simply flawless.
- 5/5
An unforgettable experience. The staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. True five-star hospitality.
- 5/5
One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The atmosphere is refined yet relaxing, and every request was handled immediately. Thank you!
- 5/5
Absolutely outstanding experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed and cared for. The room was beautiful, spotless, and incredibly comfortable
- 5/5
I’ve stayed here twice now and both times have been perfect. The rooms are consistently clean, the linens are super soft, and the bathroom is clean! A must hotel!
- 1/5
From the start of this day, this place was not ideal. The hotels.com website paints a very pretty picture, but in reality this is not a good location for relaxing. Upon arrival the elevator was broken and there was no concession or attempt to assist with luggage or anything concerning that issue. When you book your hotel, they do not tell you on hotels.com that they have rave style parties every weekend. I was not allowed to use the regular entrance to go up to my room and had to use the service entrance. The thruways were left dirty. The stench of alcohol and garbage permeated from the open trash area we had to pass through to get to our room. On the second night the party ends at around 10:00 p.m. But staff were extremely loud until after midnight talking, shouting and singing. I called the front desk. They did not answer and had to go down there in person and was told there was nothing they could do because the front desk staff has nothing to do with the staff for the restaurant or the parties. After the parties they left the stairwells of the hotel littered with cigarette butts, glasses and all sorts of detritus. There was also four large iguanas roaming the property the next morning that no one gives you a heads up about. They only supplied one washcloth and one face towel and parking for the hotel is in the back of the second building. So if you're in the first building, you have to walk clear through the entire property. Again, you are not warned about any of this.

The room looked nothign like the images. the carpet was stained and gross, it smelled liek cheap perfume. the lights int eh entry didnt work. the bathroom had mold on both the caileign and the shower curtains. the tub, bounced when stepping in it. all fixtre in the bathroom were falling off the walls and paint damages around it. the images show wood floors, fresh updated rooms. a balcony. our balcony door, didnt open, but looked onto a handicapped ramp, and had cigarett butts and garbage in the view. I asked the receptionsist for a room that looked like the images and upon showing him he said none do. there was no makager available until the next day at 10 am. I booke dthi sto relax and work remote from the cute desk and usingg the robe shown in every image and clean room in the mornign I swiftly woke up at 7 was there less than 12 hours, yet had to pay a resort fee to use no amenties and get the heck out of there! I felt unclean and unsafe in this space! and there was no help from any staff. he said he can move me to a room in the orhter buildign that looke dthe same on teh 4th floor and the elevator was broken! and upon reading the reviews it has been for over a month!! this is deralect and do not waste your time and money!
- 2/5
they didn’t tell us the elevator was broken and our room was on the fourth floor. We were there for my boyfriend’s hip replacement the next day. When I expressed my concerns they were dismissive and unhelpful. Completely not handicapped accessible. I’ve also tried several times to call them to tell them we’ve checked out and they don’t answer the phone.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Price was great! Bathroom was very dated and shower pressure was weak. Overall, a good experience. Morning coffee and continental breakfast would nice. Weight room was decent. The view is amazing! The pool area is pretty good too. Just a few more updates, and this place would get a perfect rating.
- 5/5
Views are fantastic! Great location. Clean room. Older venue that has been freshened up. Nice staff. Elevator was struggling to the open doors but over all, would come back
- 4/5
Rooms were clean. Staff were friendly

No me volvería a quedar allí…
- 3/5
Room was super cute, not the cleanest but it was good for the price paid. Location is not ideal
- 3/5
The room had paint peeling off the wall and ceiling. All of the furniture was dirty, and it needed to be cleaned or steamed, but the bed and sheets were nice.
- 5/5
Good
- 3/5
The location of this hotel was perfect. Their outside lounge area was great. The hotel was outdated and the tv did not work. We called the front office several times and they did not answer. We went in person to ask about the tv which was not working for over a day and asked if the tv can be switched but they stated it couldnt be done or even offer for us to switch rooms.
- 5/5
Great stay, nice spot, and friendly staff.
- 1/5
Noisy night club at the first fliir
- 1/5
The suite was in unacceptable condition. The floors were so dirty that the bottoms of my feet turned black from walking barefoot from the bathroom to the living area. The couch had a strong, unpleasant odor throughout the room. I requested housekeeping, but the suite remained filthy afterward. The lack of communication and effective problem-solving has been extremely frustrating. Considering this was a suite, I can only imagine the condition of standard rooms. I am still waiting to hear back after being told the issue had been resolved.
- 3/5
There was a 150 deposit I was not aware of, I can’t find the wifi information and the elevador was out of service. For the rest it was good.
- 5/5
The room was nice and clean my only complaint is 150 deposit when according to Expedia I was expected to pay $20 resort fee I was charged a $170 at check-in with no explanation next time I will book directly with the establishment. Also it sucks they don’t let you order room service if there is an event going on at the restaurant since there are no dining options nearby you have to use Ubereats, DoorDash , etc
- 1/5
Room, amenities, elevator, everything.
- 3/5
Apparently no elevator and the rooms were pretty shabby, dirty. Ours smelled like someone had been smoking in it and the shower clogs immediately so you are ajowering with about 10 inches of water. The sheets made us all itchy.
- 3/5
Room is okay for 1 night stay. Tv not working..
- 2/5
I reserved the hotel specifically for water front room and they did not provide instead they have me different one which we did not like it. Room and amenities definitely not for this price I paid. Not a good experience.
- 3/5
The room wasn't clean. The elevator was out of order
- 1/5
The elevator was barely operational and the tub had water underneath which made for a bubble type sensation while standing in there.
- 5/5
Thanks!! Very pampered.
- 3/5
It is a very old Motel here in Miami Beach. It was recently freshened up (Paint, flooring...), but the AC system is out of time and blowing mold in the room! Some of the staff are welcoming, others are not...
- 2/5
asked to clean the room daily since we stood 4 nights not once it got cleaned. two staff said they were gonna clean and never came.
- 4/5
We had a nice and relaxing stay here. Would come back again.
- 3/5
Once again, we don't care about stairs, but my husband is clearly overweight. If an elevator is not working staff should let you know ahead or offer help with luggages or something. We were good, but some people suffer health condition or cannot carry luggages for long walks plus 5 floors.
- 4/5
The room was great but the keys that I got kept not working after I left and come back. I had to reactivate at the front desk on the first few days for room 318z Finally a different front desk staff activate two new key cards for me and I didn’t have any problems after that. I think next time if the key cards kept not working after one use, please change to a new key cards for the guests to save the hassles. Overall, great rooms though walls are thin. The visitor’s store staffs were very friendly and I like that they have a microwave there for guests. Overall, smooth stay. Would recommend it. :)
- 1/5
Do not waste you money here!! I booked the bay front room . Upon arriving I was told the elevator is still not working and we are on the 5th floor. When we get to the room the bathroom toilet is broken , there are broken chairs literally seats busted out on the balcony, phone did not work , tv was not working . Absolute ridiculous . We ended up checking out early and booking another location near by . What should of been a relaxing birthday weekend started as a nightmare with this joke of a hotel
- 1/5
I was very disappointed because they don't clean the room every day. I requested cleaning service and they said they would, but they didn't. I didn't like their service.
- 4/5
Super confy the pool
- 1/5
The view is gorgeous don’t get me wrong the property however.. ice machine didn’t work on our floor, elevator didn’t work, the phone in room didn’t work so it was a hike then a mountain run to go to the lobby. Felt more like boot camp with all those stairs. The room cleanliness seemed fine until I got a small piece of glass in my foot. At this point I was ready to go.
- 2/5
No servicio de habitaciones solamente limpian la habitacion cada 3 dias,no cambian las toallas,no ponen ni una botella de agua,ni coffee

I checked into room 220 on 11/09/2025 at 04:40pm. Soon after checking in, I took a shower and oddly, I felt more dirty than had I not taken a shower at all. As time passes, I am laying in the bed watching TV and my skin begins to break out and become itchy. The minty odor on the bed sheets was overwhelmingly strong and at this point I began to feel nauseous. I leave and go to the store to get Benadryl because to me it felt like an allergic reaction to something. Upon my return, I fill up the bathtub with hot water and at the same time, I put cold water in the sink. The water in the sink is crystal clear, whereas the bathtub water was a greenish tint and felt grimy. I took videos and photographs for comparison. I tried my best to get comfortable, but the disgust I felt after being in that room, i packed up all of my stuff and checked out at 03:09am on November 10, 2025. Although I saw no bug and not saying that there were any, but with my 12 years experience working in a prison, I know that the mint oil stuff that I was smelling is to kill and/or repel bugs.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and the pool area was so relaxing
- 2/5
Rooms were outdated. Toilets did not work. Elevators did not work. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 2/5
Elevator not working. No assistance with luggage. I was told the resort fee would be waived and it wasn't. Lots of police presence. Parking horrendous. Construction. No wash cloths.
- 2/5
The room that we reserved wasnt the room that they gave us. A real switch and bait scheme. The front desk guy was talking to his girlfriend on the phone for 20 minutes before he even looked up at us. The room was very small (again, not what we reserved).
- 4/5
Clean room and friendly staff
- 3/5
The staff is very unfriendly. They charge $150 as a deposit per room and say they'll refund it in 15 days. Also, there's a $25 daily amenities fee. In my case, I only used the hotel to sleep and I would have preferred that not to be mandatory. The elevators don't work, there's construction in progress next door. I requested a room with a balcony and bay view... a real disappointment. Old and noisy air conditioners. On the positive side, the location is central and although everything is old and poorly maintained, I believe the area is safe.
- 4/5
Geat friday night party bottle of wine in the room.
- 2/5
My room was on the 3rd floor and the elevator was broke. Both ice machines close to my room did not work, I had to go to a different building to get ice. The room towels were falling apart and were well used.
- 1/5
The room was smelly, bathroom tub got clugg
- 5/5
It was so cute. I was not sure when I pulled up. But omg. My room was soo cute. I loved the colors and the design. I also loved the pool. Then the restaurant was excellent. They had a bar and good vibe. The hotle and restaurant staff was excellent. I’m so happy I choose it. It was right on the water and awww nice view.
- 5/5
Todo bien
- 1/5
Elevator doesn’t work! The bed sunk in the middle very low class hotel more like a motel!
- 2/5
Arrived at 9pm to check in and was greeted with a sign stating the attendant was on the property and would be back soon. Waited 30 mins before someone emerged only to seem like he could care less that me and others who arrived after me had been waiting so long. I should have known what I was in for due to the mold stained ceiling tiles and the fact none of the doors to the lobby closed properly. Once checked in I was informed the elevator wasn’t working properly so I heaved my bags up to the 3rd floor. At first sight the room was mediocre. Come to find out the bathroom light forced you into a rave party with its strobing and the tub floor was full of water underneath so it was like standing on a surf board. The gift shop never opened and the ice machines were out of order. Heck even the tv guide that displayed 32 channels was wrong because I could only click through 12. The sheets were mostly clean thank the good Lord however you could tell they just replastered the ceiling because dried plaster was dripped all over everything. It was tolerable for the 2 nights I stayed but I can promise I won’t be back for another round. Had I been greeted with a more enthusiastic face it might have set a better tone.
- 1/5
Hotels.com has also contacted the hotel on my behalf regarding the release of the funds. This delay is not acceptable, as the held amount is causing me to incur daily overdraft interest. I would greatly appreciate it if this matter could be resolved urgently.
- 3/5
Upon checking in , there were no balcony rooms available so they gave a double bed room and removed the resort fee -and have 1hr late checkout (12pm). Upon entering the room , the drawers were all open and no towels in the room. I had to walk down from the 2nd building to the lobby to receive the towels since housekeeping was gone for the night @ 8 pm .
- 5/5
This was my 3rd stay!! im always excited to come back !!Clean room &Staff is wonderful!!It's the view for me ❤️😎
- 2/5
We booked a king balcony room and because they had “sold out,” even though we reserved this room months ago, we got a double queen room. View of the parking lot.
- 1/5
I stayed only one night, and I was told that if I checked out before 11 AM, I would receive a refund for the second night. However, when I contacted the property, they refused to issue the refund. Two weeks later, they reached out again demanding a “resort fee,” even though all costs—including resort fees—were already included in my original Expedia reservation. This experience was very unprofessional, and I would not recommend this place to others.
- 5/5
Loved it. This is an absolute Gem! Room was amazing. Views are fantastic. Location is so easy to get everywhere.
- 2/5
The air conditioning wasn’t cooling.

Although there was some construction going on, the property was comfortable and relaxing even for just the one night. Menu at the onsite restaurant is a little pricey but I get it. Location was great.
- 1/5
The room doesn’t have microwave, they don’t clean the room daily, no clean towels. The bed, blankets, sheets and pillows have weird smell. The elevator was not working also. We were on the 5th floor. There was a salamander in my room. My stay was terrible at this hotel.

This room had no A/C

The staff was really nice and very helpful in every way! You guys rock ✨🤗✨
- 3/5
The hotel was ok good to sleep one night maybe two but the area surrounding the hotel was dirty full of cops and lot of homeless people.
- 5/5
Everything was good, no parking fee or worries about towing your car. Nice view perfect distance to south beach
- 3/5
It was ok.
- 5/5
The front desk was incredibly helpful and kind. It's an older facility, and smells of mildew were present, and assume it was the airflow from the vents. However, it was obvious that they updated the property with nice new furniture, paint, etc and took pride i

I can't say we hated this hotel. We actually liked it, but we aren't normal. The Palmetto Tree Club is part of this hotel. If the club has an event, it will be loud and there is not be convenient parking. It will be loud and vibrate the buildings all night. There will not be a resturant and it will be inconvenient to get around the hotel. 5 story building with no functioning elevators. The club seems cool, and watching the boats come in and out is nice.
- 5/5
Cute decor and nice people

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Bar was great and good bartender

- 1/5
The only good thing about this place was the pool area. The elevator doesn’t work my husband got stuck in it for over 30 minutes. When we reported it, the guy at the front desk just said, “Yeah, it’s an old elevator,” and that was it. This place is not worth your money. Sorry, but you will not enjoy your stay.
- 2/5
It’s pretty, modern and overall clean. The receptionist was bland and unwelcoming. The elevators were broken and our room was on the third floor. No help was offered; staff were dismissive. Thankfully, a very kind male staff member saw I was struggling and helped bring my luggage up. His willingness to help reflected on who he is as person, as no other workers offered to help. Wish we would have been informed during the check in process as we had 3 suitcases. There was a private event happening; no big deal at all. However, we had no access to the bar or dining area of the hotel. Which is the reason we chose the hotel; wish we would have known in advance. The elevator was broken the hold time of my stay.
- 2/5
The staff was very friendly. Good location. The reception desk was new, and the pool was nice. However, the rooms were in terrible condition: the air conditioning units were very old, noisy, and leaked into the room. The bathroom door was ruined due to humidity. The bathroom walls had a plastic covering that was peeling off instead of tiles. The furniture was very old and damaged. The ground-floor rooms were damp. The hallway ceilings were leaking, and the central air conditioning unit was constantly making an unbearable noise.
- 4/5
Overall great experience. Felt safe on the property as a solo female traveller. Elevator being out of service was a bit of an inconvenience, but not the biggest deal. Absolutely loved the convenient, free parking
- 2/5
Good choices of cocktails I will not be coming here I love the views on the bay but the hotel has gone down hill also the cocktail prices were overly priced to the max also I booked the Hotel yr in advance I was not informed that the Bay front rooms elevator was not working that was outrageous to not be informed before I arrived hope they can fix these problems .
- 4/5
The was clean but no way to lock the sliding door too the outside. The shower had water under the tube. You can feel it when taking a shower but the cleanness was great. Staff from the front desk to house keeping where amazing and always ready to help. The bar / restaurant was amazing. I stayed there a few days and got to know your staff and everyone was nice and welcoming. Oh and the drinks where awesome.
- 3/5
The room had long blonde and black stray hairs my hair is fire red.no one ever answers the front desk phone. Bed and pillows are great but the bathrooms are smaller than apartment bathrooms. I stayed for a weekend and the elevators didn’t work the whole stay. On top of no one warned me or mentioned the chain smokers would be performing at the resturant bringing a wild crowd of party goers. Being one of few black faces on the protest I was stopped multiple times during my stay by police/security asking me what my business was there.

The property is quite old. Elevator was so rickety we opted for the stairs. The room shown on Expedia isn't the room they gave us. They blamed Expedia and supposed Expedia tried to contact them for a refund, but couldn't, oh the irony that Expedia suddenly couldn't reach the property. I call BS!!! The bathroom is extremely small amd the tub was wobbly and felt like we were on a surfboard. The front desk didn't bring the extra towels I requested, I asked 3 times. Hated the entire experience and extremely disappointed in Expedia! I won't be using Expedia again to book anything.
- 5/5
The front deck lobby girl was very professional and helpful
- 5/5
Room was clean and parking was free. The only inconvenience was the broken elevator.
- 4/5
It was a nice ocean view… old place … elevator out service ….
- 4/5
Great views with lovely restaurant on the water.clean with good facilities and pool was perfect for relaxing
- 5/5
I’ve stayed here multiple times while visiting Miami. This hotel is older but well maintained and clean. The staff is attentive and for being in a major city it was surprisingly quiet.
- 4/5
The room needs microwave and a more firmer bed
- 1/5
I did not stay there due to flight cancellation because of weather at departure airport. I never made it to hotel and they would not move my payment to a future stay two weeks later. Since weather is out of our control, they should and not known within their 3 day cancelation policy, they should at least offer to move the payment to the future rescheduled dates.

- 5/5
Very clean room. Staff was very kind and helpful
- 4/5
Great view from the balcony rooms...
- 1/5
Very outdated
- 4/5
The hotel rooms are clean and the balcony has a view of the sea. After 3 days the linen was not changed, it still remains and I did not wash the floor. Everything else is fine. The compartment is crooked and not moving well.
- 1/5
we arrived to the hotel and got upstairs to our room and our key wasn’t working… we walked up and down the stairs from the 3rd floor (elevator was broke) they kept giving us keys that didn’t work so they moved us to another room and told us maintenance was gonna fix our door the next day.. the room they moved us in smelled like mildew when we walked in, the ceilings were leaking and it was so humid in there
- 1/5
Property far away from the beach, and far from the city. Next to a Chanel , elevator out of order, noise central air conditioners, poor customer service
- 5/5
I really like my room and the staff were very friendly.
- 5/5
Great location. Clean rooms.
- 3/5
Room was clean and nice. The elevator was broke so trying to lug all our luggage up 4 flights of stairs was ridiculous, we ended up just getting our clothes out of the car each day instead of taking the luggage up, girls pack heavy ! The restaurant was not good and very pricey for food and drinks. We just had a 1 night stay but would look into other options if would have been longer
- 5/5
The staff was very nice, especially Norma! The pool and food on property were great and I loved the thought put into the 50s Havana Theme. It’s an older hotel that’s been renovated and they keep it clean. I would definitely stay again!
- 4/5
bartender at bar was cool
- 2/5
Billowing in from The back where people smoked right at the entrance. I will not stay here ever again and wouldn’t recommend it to a bum on the street. This place is subpar.
- 3/5
The place is ok, I had trouble with the hotel room key, I had to go back to the lobby to get a new key and I was stuck on the elevator it’s old and it moves really slow. The room floor was a little dirty but we where tired and had a baby, we ended up staying.
- 5/5
Room and view was beautiful
- 3/5
Property was decent, we all know the saying, you get what you pay for. Our balcony had a severe wet spot that I slipped on a few times. The floor could use more TLC when cleaning, my wife's white socks were pretty dirty by day 2 of our trip. Took about 4 hours to get some clean washcloths because there was only one in the bathroom. View was nice. Bedding and bathroom was clean.
- 3/5
The rooms were semi renovated but the bathrooms needed work.
- 3/5
Noisy, not the cleanest hotel, location is convenient, free parking which is good. Overall it was okay.
- 2/5
Poor
- 4/5
Room is nice and clean with a great view and pool and a fancy restaurant. I travel a lot and usually hotels provide breakfast or atleast a coffee maker. Unavailability of these facilities is a bit saddening else everything was perfect.
- 5/5
- 3/5
The staff were nice but the property itself was not as good as the pictures. I don't if they're going under some sort of renovation the place is mess. The AC vent in the room was leaking, there was a lot of leak around the hotel, some were even in front of the room doors. Cracked walls, anf the room kinda look like wasn't clean properly. We reqiested a room woth the sea/lake view., theu gave us a room with a parking lot view and partial lake view.
- 5/5
Everything was great. I’ll be back
- 2/5
The hotel room was not good

I had a good experience! Good location. I went to a concert on hard rock Stadium and this hotel was a great choice.

- 2/5
Everything was okay , great view and location to beaches but I was there 4 nights and started loosing my AC night 2 and then the AC went all the way out by night 4 with the help of construction ppl cutting the power in the area along with it already going out on me : shower water TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE was strange , bathroom had little bugs along the sink : but bed slept great !
- 5/5
Thank you so much
- 5/5
Eve thing was awesome
- 4/5
I did not like that i had to pay $2.60 each day for coffee,my t.v. didnt have signal the whole 4 days i was there, some of the towels are stained, also i found a roach in my room, the fridge in the room wasnt keeping the drinks cold enough, also there was not a coffee maker in the room like they did last year, the prices at the restaurant are WAYYY more expensive than last year since they have new owners im guessing. The pool was ok and did enjoy the view from my balcony.
- 5/5
Room keys had to be reset a few times. Tv didn’t work. Ice machines did not work due to a recent power outage. We did not know This until our second night Overall it was still a nice two nights and I would def go back here Great pool. Able to fish from the docks in the back. In the middle of it all and able to Drive quickly to many surrounding destinations
- 2/5
This hotel had a decent pool but the rooms are nothing like the photos. Our bathroom door fell off the hinges and the pull out sofa was bad. The last day the power was off and we didn’t have AC all night or the next day. The pool area was not well kept with guests trash. The iguana at the pool were cool but other than that, not with the money.
- 5/5
Nice property
- 4/5
Very nice property but there is no microwave and the iguana keep pooping around the pool and no one cleaned it up.
- 3/5
This is an average hotel. Room was clean, bathroom really small. Bed was very comfortable. The restaurant opens for late brunch, lunch and dinner. Expensive in my opinion.
- 2/5
The bathroom tap came off on the first day when I took a shower. The power was out for 2 days and we were without AC in over 30C.
- 3/5
Overall it was a decent stay apart from the large discrepancy of the view, compared to the listing it did not look the same, staff was great and very accomadating. Was a great distance from all of the main places like south beach and brickell.
- 5/5
Good
- 1/5
I checked in the room was clean from first glance. Then I started finding straight black hair on the sheets and towels. My hair is straight but it’s fire red. The tiny ants all over the bathroom. The tv not working and the ac never got cold no matter what it was set to.
- 4/5
bathroom was small and outdated but room was redone and very cute. Everything felt clean. We had a beautiful view of the Miami Bay from our balcony. A great place to stay and enjoy Miami without paying Miami prices. Would stay again
- 1/5
No electricity I need a refund
- 5/5
Nice retro property... makes you go back in time while at the same time embracing the modern. lovely location on the water intercoastal. Nice pool area, clean and nice people that work there.
- 5/5
Loved staying here! It was perfect for our family and the pool is amazing!
- 4/5
Everybody was extremely nice and kind that the hotel is very cute now it is an older hotel that they remodeled and everything was great. I mean the last day we found two roaches in the room. They were dead, thank God so you do have to know that it’s an older hotel and you are maybe gonna get some bugs coming But other than that the pool is really nice. The restaurants are a little expensive.
- 1/5
This was not like the pictures, barely stayed in the hotel because the beds were dirty and we had to use blankets to cover the bed. There was stains on the pillows and in the covers, bugs and not as advised. I would want at least half of my money back from this hotel because she didn’t care because they are used to this.
- 1/5
I ended up paying way more than expected to check in
- 1/5
We were given a very bad room. Not at all similar to what they show in the photos. I won’t recommend anyone to stay for the price.
- 5/5
Overall great job
- 4/5
Good place
- 3/5
The service is average, so dont expect anyone to go out of their way to help you. You also need to complete a form to get your breakfast (very limited options - croissants, muffins, coffee or orange juice) so nothing special here, when i made reservations i was advised its a full breakfast, so dont expect this otherwise you will be dissapointed. The hotel also didnt tell us we need to complete the forms before 5pm previous night, so 2 days we got nothing just a coffee which i had to wait for 20 mins, plus you need to collect breakfast if you get it from Reception, all in a paper bag, again seems poor service. But the hotel did remove the resort fee of $67 due to not advising correctly of the process. Bathroom was tiny and needs attention. But again, we didnt stay around the hotel just slept at night and explored Miami. Would I stay again??? probably not, i would try and find an Air BNB as they have more space and convenience. There are lots of food and fast food options nearby and the location is good as it was about 10-15 minutes to Beach area or Downtown in a car.
- 5/5
Cute hotel, get a room overlooking the water with balcony its worth it.
- 3/5
When i first checked in on Monday 7/21 at about 435 pm, there was a very nice staff memeber who checked us in and were very welcoming. Her name was Chiara. Ive only saw her the day of my check in and never saw her the rest of my stay. Wednesday morning we went to the front desk and asked can our room be cleaned and they assured us it would be. Wednesday night when we arrived back yo oyr room, it was not cleaned. We went back yo the front desk and there were a guy there and he said he doesnt have any house keeping now bit they will come clean in the morning. They came to clean Thursday evening which i saw when i arrived back to my room Thirsday night which defeated the purpose because i had to check out Friday morning. The majority of tge staff at the hotel is Latino and irs a languelafe barrier. Otger than that, my stay was different from other hotels ive stayed at in the past. Yhe pool was nice and clean, clean towels. The restaurant food was great but if you dine in, you will be charged a $20 service fee, i guess that's for the price of the 2 free complimentary drinks that each guess recieve. I think the rooms should have brooms, dust pans and mops. Housekeeping is scarce and it seems that they only clean certain rooms regularly, maybe upon request but i requested ywice and my room still wasby cleaned. Although the house keeping issues, my stay was okay.

Stayed in Room 312 and was shocked by how poorly maintained the room was. The pillow had a terrible smell and visible stains, there was a dirty towel and a used Q-tip under the bed, and the entire area was dusty. There were also stains on the tile floor, and no garbage can in the bedroom. It was clear the room had not been cleaned properly. Totally unacceptable for any hotel. Definitely would not stay here again. I guess that’s what you get for what you pay.

Not to bad for a couple days. Needs a little more attention to cleaning. Otherwise decent place

My wife and I booked this property due to the photos it has on Expedia. Unfortunately when we arrived at the hotel there was no one that actually worked for the hotel at the front desk to check us in. The person who gave us our room key was a security guard who was given a list of who was coming in and the key. Upon going to our room it looked nothing like the photos in Expedia. The room felt musty and had old carpets that looked like they’ve been there since the hotel was built. My brothers room had roaches in it. Upon going to the security guard he stated he couldn’t do anything and we would have to wait till the next day when the employees come in. The next day we spoke to a female in the front desk who was able to get us into a different room which was much better but smaller than the room we originally booked. When asked if we could get a refund for the difference in price they said they couldn’t do anything about it. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Stay away. The pictures look good on here but it’s far from it.
- 5/5
It will be nice if the restaurant offers breakfast but they only open at 12 pm. Other than that it was a really nice stay.
- 5/5
This property was amazing. Friendly staff great location right between the beach and the city. Pool was super cute and clean and added little bonus the cute stand with sun care items and water. My view over the water was great. Everything about this property was absolutely perfect! Love love love this property!!
- 5/5
The entrance to get in is kinda rough but overall great stay.
- 2/5
Nothing was pleasant, bathroom were hot and the shower was slow with the tub not draining properly
- 2/5
The service is terrible, the room looked like they only made the beds, no phone to call room services mind you room services only goes to the rooms that are empty, we found a ROACH IN THE BATHROOM and in the outside bathrooms as well! Parking is crazy far so they can accommodate the restaurant rather than

The front desk who took care of me on July 16th, was not interested in helping or doing anything, seems he was forced to work that night. Other than that, I would definitely stay there again

Frontdesk is really helpful
- 2/5
Not the best stay, not the clean line
- 1/5
This property is far from all the amenities in South Beach, it’s a ran down motel, the room is small and stink. The thermostat was broke and it got muggy and things were fogging up when we turned the thermostat off. The bathroom is small and smelly. The shower is small and clogged up during showers, water got extremely hot and had to keep making adjustments. The floor was nasty. The house keeping did not do a regular clean and restock (3days) as they are supposed to, I had to call the office 2 times to get what was needed. Overall the place was nasty and germ filled. Also the pictures on the website did not match the pictures of the motel. I’m

The AC would not go down past 74 even though it was set to 68 as soon as we walked through the door, day 1. We never had hot water, luke warm at best. I went down for extra towels and was told they would come up to our room and never did. The next day I had to stop an employee with a cart to get some. There was something red spilt all in the fridge and I had to clean it out myself then decided just not to use it. The room looked clean upon arrive but after just a few hours our socks were all black. Would highly recommend wearing shoes in the room. The pool was full of bugs and we only used it 1/4 days.
- 3/5
Perhaps the increase on waterfront land value might be the reason. Rooms are clean, but making upkeep. Simple hotel items like a tv guide, a coffee pot are not available.
- 1/5
Additionally, I had booked my room two weeks in advance, only to be told my reservation had somehow been reassigned — and that I had to cancel it, which made no sense. The staff I interacted with, including security and a young woman at the desk, were not welcoming or helpful during a stressful moment. Thankfully, I ended up booking at the DoubleTree nearby (by the police station and 7-Eleven), and they gave me a much better experience. I wouldn't recommend Palm Tree Hotel based on my visit — especially if you're traveling for business or content creation. Your peace of mind matters.
- 4/5
Cool location- pool with water access. Palm Tree Club restaurant is a spot for Saturday afternoon events, but drinks are overpriced. During regular restaurant hours the food menu is also overpriced for what is offered. Stayed in Miami multiple times, various locations, still trying to figure this one out. The lobby is updated, looks and smells great, but the rooms don't match that aesthetic. Its an old hotel theyre trying to revamp, but still have a lot of work to do. Shower and sink drains were very slow to go down and bathroom had a mildew smell to it. No towel refresh- gave us 1 washcloth for 2 people and 3 nights. Had to ask daily for towels at the pool but they offered water and sunblock which was a nice touch. For a quick weekend trip, it served the purpose especially for the price but it would not be my first choice to stay again.
- 1/5
Parking on a Sunday was crazy! Also, the Palmetto Bugs got in the room and we left a day early. The solution that they offered was to fumigate the room.
- 1/5
There was no tissue housekeeping never came and changed the sheets there were bugs in the room the ice maker was broke there’s no complimentary anything
- 1/5
The hotel lacks even the most basic amenities - there was no coffee maker, hot water kettle, or microwave in the room, nor were these available in any common area. I even visited the on-site restaurant hoping to warm up some food, only to find they didn’t have a microwave either. To make matters worse, the telephone in my room didn’t work throughout my entire stay. For a tourist without a local phone, this made ordering food or contacting the front desk nearly impossible. Adding to the inconvenience, most nearby restaurants close fairly early. The only redeeming feature of the hotel is the swimming pool, which was well-maintained and enjoyable. However, a key point of confusion: while the hotel is located beside the water, it does not have a private beach - something I mistakenly assumed based on the photos. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing hotel stays in my travel history. I hope this review helps others make a more informed decision.
- 5/5
Nice view from pool. Parking is included and near to ocean drive
