The room was very clean and staff was very nice and helpful.

The staff was nice, the bed was comfy but the room showed wear and tear and could use an update. Ex: the walls were repainted but only in certain areas - meaning if you're going to paint - paint the whole wall, not just the right side.

The room while older was very clean. There was a slight odor when I first went in, maybe from the carpet. There are tons of food and shopping options nearby. Very convenient location to get to and from the airport. I would stay here again.

Enjoyed my quick overnight stay. Breakfast was really good! The bed was comfortable and they have soft pillows (in case you prefer firm ones). I enjoyed that the building was smoke free and it smelled normal (not weird hotel smell if you know) . Would come back if needed to be in the area again.

The hotel does not follow its noice policy.. It was incredibly loud with teenagers roaming the halls almost all night talking loud and opening and slamming doors

The rooms had a smell to them, kind of like those that was working. The smell lingered after they left the room or the hallway. High gen is very important.

It was decent enough for a one night stay. The room was pretty clean, The shower was the size of a shower on a cruise ship maybe a tad bit bigger no bathtub so the bathroom was very small. I used the iron and ironing board there was a coffee machine didn't use it, didn't take advantage of the breakfast, it wasn't very appetizing, and because we left early the next morning for a graduation. Staff was nice, nothing exceptional it was decent like I said and I would stay there again but for a multiple night stay if there was nowhere else to stay and I needed to be in that location.

Needs updating the whole room and smells just like smoke from entering until leaving. No charging ports and parking fills up quick had to walk from Ducks to room

The light over the sink mirror is shaded & dim. I am 72 years old and can't see real well to put my makeup. I ended up standing in the shower with a hand mirror to use a Q Tip to clean up the mascara and any other mistakes. This is not fun, it is hard!!

The location was good for the Regent University graduation. The surrounding area's restaurants had a good choice. Breakfast (especially waffles!) was great. Beds were comfy. The room was clean. Pet-friendly and clean location. The cleaning staff were very helpful and friendly. The facilities and room were dated. The room was a bit warm, even with the indoor fan unit running. There were several rooms with the smell of weed wafting into the hallway.

Excellent location. Close to airport, food, shopping...all within walking distance. Main complaint is the thin walls. I heard every step, cry, conversation, moan, of my neighbors and people in the halls, CLEARLY. I stayed 4 nights and had 3 different people placed in the room next to me..not sure why they kept choosing to use that room.

The front desk people are extremely rude none of them where wearing name tags, "no management on duty OR to call", the guy at the front desk said he didn't know how to get in touch with management or didn't know corporates number. They tell you one thing then do another and be careful take pics of your room ALWAYS when you arrive and when you leave because they will try to keep your deposit as well

They are money launderers. No where on booking.com does it say you need to pay 50 dollar deposit. When you check in they tell you they charge you a deposit of 50 dollars. If we are paying for the stay the day of how do we need to pay a deposit.. They "ensure" they will give it back to you the day you checkout. The day of check out they want to show you some "made up typed" policy of how the deposit takes 30-60 days to refund to your card. I had to fight with the employee to help an old man get 4 separate deposits going back to the beginning of February. There response is call the bank because it was released on our end.... So they are accusing the banks of not releasing your deposit to your account.... Anyone in there right mind knows banks take no more that 3-5 for debit cards and 5-7 for credit cards. Look at the bigger picture too.... The only business EVER that takes 30-60 days for a refund. I checked out on 3.28.26. I called today 4.15.26, the women told me the deposit was released on 3.28.26 the day of checkout. The women refused to send me a release statement that I asked for and hung up on me twice. Now if it was released the day of checkout and I paid with a debit card how is it that it's not in my bank. I told her before she hung up that I know shes going to release it today. Guess what? She did... see attachment below. (You can see today it was sent to my bank account... which is the day I called for the refund). Also, I want to point out they FORCE all customers to pay the deposit with card.. not cash. Sketchy right? DO NOT STAY HERE.

The overall aesthetics are there, but if you look too closely, you can see the age in this property. The staff is truly hard-working to make the best they can. But you cannot beat it in the area for the money.

I booked my room for double beds, was placed in a room with a King bed. Told the front desk that the glass shower door didn't close, bathroom floor was soaked. Nothing was done about the complaint.

The hotel was clean, and the room was comfortable. We arrived a little early and they let us check in early with out extra fees. The breakfast was great. Walls were a little thin. we could hear our neighbors tv at times but nothing that would prevent us from staying there again.

Breakfast was good. Location is absolutely perfect. Room was spacious. Great bed. Almost everything was broken. The ice machine. All the gym machines. The staff was helpful but almost non existent. Every time I went to the desk no one was there. Lots of dirty areas: hall, elevator. Hall noise was too much. Its like they roomed everyone next to each other and I heard people coming in and out all day and night.

When entering the room at first glance, appeared fine. After settling in, fridge did not work, hair in the shower, toilet hardly flushed, ice bucket was filled with trash, coffee cup lids were dirty. Toothpaste splatter on wall and mirror, toilet lid dirty.

The staff was rude and petty for no reason. The pool is apparently closed on Mondays which i was not aware of when booking for a Monday. Tuesday morning my group went swimming before checking out. When my daughter asked for a pool towel she was told "no your check out was at 11" it was 11:03..... Then we sat in the lobby for a moment and the staff all but swept out feet . Then we moved to the car and he needed to sweep under my car door as well.

Was clean. I didn't like when housekeepers came into my room while I wasn't present, but at least they were replacing clean towels and sheets. Staff were professional. Has free breakfast. Only main problem was the elevator. It makes noise like something was stuck and it also went up a little bit while the doors are open. It was kinda terrifying that I think something bad would happen to me

A couple of the desk staff people were difficult to communicate with, due to language/accent about a problem in the room. They did send housekeeping to the room but language was also difficult with them. The problem was marginally resolved but we felt dismissed as if cleanliness was not a real priority. We ended up fully resolving on our own because it was important to us and it was uncomfortable to keep trying to explain the issue.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights, Oct 17-19, both nights I was woken up in the middle of the night by people in the hallway. The first night someone tried getting into our room (repeatedly, went on for at least 10 min) and the second night they were banging on the door across from my room yelling profanity. There was no phone on the bedside table and I was terrified (single woman with my daughter) so didn't get out of bed to look around for a phone. I found one the next day, hidden on a shelf. I told the front desk, who were kids running the front desk, they didn't seem to care. I asked for a manager and they said there wasn't one. I won't be staying here again, I did not feel safe. (I could have ignored the powdered eggs for breakfast and the black mold in the shower if I'd felt safe). The location was excellent.

Old bedding (not the tree design in new pics), holes in the leather skirt bed surround, hole in carpet and spots of dried mortar that wouldn't come up when i borrowed a vacuum on my 2nd day. Then the shower door hinge looks like they changed the door but the old door holes still there in completely different area. Also looked like a tape or putty was put over a almost 2inch hole. Pool was cloudy. Was a few more things that was off.

It smelled musty. I booked a first floor as I have a broken leg. I was informed that they did not have any other rooms on that floor. I had to use essential oils to make it smell bare able . Hotel needs some serious updating ! It was gross. The carpet was sticky so you had to wear socks. Bathroom door looked like someone threw up on it. Heat/ac was broken. Shuttle is useless if you have an early flight. Didn’t run until 10. Breakfast was a joke. Clearly this is used as section 8 housing as well. People coming in with cribs, full groceries. Literally full carts of stuff. Not an enjoyable stay.

It was frustrating because the building holds two hotels. When I went in to confirm the address the front desk was unsure. I had to return a second time and give my reservation for them to recognize I was at the correct location. The A/C unit on cold made it to where me and wife couldn’t breathe out of our nose at night. We had to utilize it on fan. The comforter also had an old red stain.

Hotel location is very convenient. They assigned us a room that was infested with mold which can lead to cancer or other health issues. They did move us to another room, but that original room should not have been available until it was remediated.

The room was not very clean, building is old, needs some maintenance/updates. Elevator was making a loud banging noise every time it moved. It’s supposed to be a pet friendly hotel however dogs are not allowed at the outside courtyard which is ridiculous because is basically outside. On busy weekends they lack of parking spaces.

This was by far one of the cleanest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. There was hair on the back of the toilet in the shower. There was also large clumps of hair in the garbage can underneath the trash bag two of my pillowcases were either stained or dirty and the floor that was non-smoking smelled like marijuana. Also, breakfast was cold. Ice machine was broken on my floor. There was no extra toilet paper in my room. I was forced to go to the first floor to request toilet paper. Also, the rim of my ice bucket had beard or some type of hair trimmings in it as well. Overall was not happy with the room also did not say nothing to the receptionist about the quality out of fear of being treated worse or put into a worse room.

-One outlet not able to hold a plug -Sink slipped off -Dresser drawer could not be used for to ac blocking it from opening I still had a great time. Only there for a couple of days to see family, do the room did what it needed to do. Will use it again when I visit for the holidays

Every hotel we stayed at all across the country provided complimentary coffee for customers in a common area of the lobby. Not them. Every customer repeatedly asked where the coffee kiosk was. Their answer, only at breakfast time. Swimming pool area run down and dirty. We put money in a washing machine and it jammed. When I went to make them aware of it, the girl said we don’t deal with that you have to call the number on the washing machine. So I said what do I do about my clothes? Well you have to call the number. I said what do you take responsibility for? What a Mickey Mouse place this is. A guy heard me and as I was walking to my room, he flagged me down and said he would help me. He got a screwdriver and got our quarters out we used another washer. The whole hotel experience was unacceptable. I will never stay at a sleep inn again. Ironically, less expensive hotels provided more amenities and better customer service than this place in Norfolk the only upside was a good variety of eating places on the perimeter of the hotel. Other than that, it was awful. I would not recommend staying there to anyone.

Rooms are very outdated. Beds are extremely squeaky and uncomfortable. I was awake until early AM hours and I could hear loud noises (voices, movement) amongst the hallway. I don't think the pictures on the website align with the offerings here.

Very loud, front desk staff not helpful. Airport transportation not available when I needed it. Pool was super crowded, people were loading coolers with ice. Air conditioner in room was extremely loud.

Rundown, noisy, fire alarm in the middle of the night

Hotel smells of cigarettes and weed. Entire hotel is hot and in serious need of updates. Water spots and mold on the ceiling in our room. Shower has a broken handle and maintenance just showed us how to rig using it. Elevators are central in the hotel so continuous walking and no easy access for a person with a disability like myself. Parking was ridiculous and had to parking in a near by shopping center bc no spots available. Pool area indoors was nasty. Paint chipping off the bottom of the pool into the water and the ventilation did not work so again everything was extremely hot! To get a towel you have to walk all the way back to the front desk. Bathroom in the lobby had water spots on ceiling, missing tiles and smelled of old grease plus was dirty. Beds uncomfortable and every door in this place is not ADA compliant for force. This was a horrible experience and this hotel is beyond needing updates.

I was in room 101 first of all it was a handicap room and I did not request that second of all the room smelled like mildew.

Ground floor rooms have people parked right outside the window. Not uncommon, but not preferable. The hotel was clean and breakfast was ok.

I reserved my room with a CC but was still required to make a $50 deposit (we'll see how long that takes to get back or what excuse they make to keep it. The room's bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke and the shower light didn't work. There was an atm in the hotel lobby that I was going to use to tip housekeeping but it didn't dispense money. Hotel staff informed me that the hotel was not responsible for it. Otherwise, the rest of the room was clean, good location and the pool and gym are well kept.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was huge. They allow pets here and the rooms and lobby and surrounding the property were very clean. It was very convenient to the naval base and many other establishments. I will definitely stay here again if in the area.

As I stated, this is the second time I have stayed at this hotel, and I will continue to come to this hotel if I am in the area again.

Breakfast is shared with another hotel. We stood in line for 40 min and never even ate. We just went to Wawa. The breakfast area is small and needs an upgrade it can’t handle a large crowed. Then we had a false alarm go off early in the morning.

The room was "accessible" to an extent but definitely not room enough to be considered truly accessible. It was tight and was hard toove around with a mobility device. The AC was not very effective either, it kept shutting off.

A great location, room and staff.

The first night of our stay I called to request an extra pillow. I was told “you have five that’s plenty we won’t give you anymore” never in my life have I experienced that but whatever. The second night my child happened to puke on a sacred pillow. I called to ask for a fresh one. I was still told no. On our fourth day of stay I found black mold all over the bathroom ceiling. I immediately went to the front desk. They told me they would “inspect” it. Long after my stay ended they finally called me back to tell me that “it wasn’t mold” I’m highly allergic so I know what it looks like. Not to mention pregnant. They said all they would do was give me 10% off the last night of my stay. I was there for five nights. Absolute bare minimum. I’m outraged. I will never stay here again. I have photo and video evidence of the mold as well and will be posting it everywhere I can. Also the breakfast really was not great. Hardly any options and everything just tasted fake.

When I called to speak to the manager in the morning I was told to call back later after the manager arrived at 7am. When i did call back I was told I could move to another room but I never heard from the staff again. I work long hours and stay in choice hotels frequently but now I am looking elsewhere while in Virginia. The staff was not helpful and the room needed mold remediation.

Good, but AC wasn’t working.

It was just okay. I called down in the morning to get a late check out and they gentleman said I could check out at 1:30. Then at 11:20 they were pound on my door like the police. Today me I had to pay $50 extra. I walked down to pay and the lady told me they don’t do late check outs. That part was a mess they need to get their stuff together!

Shoppers, get excited! A solid choice in a great location at the Norfolk Premium Outlets. Also conveniently located close to the airport. There’s a free shuttle from the hotel to the airport. Free breakfast was tasty and kept warm and refreshed often.

Front desk lied to me regarding booking and pool wasn't open monday like they said

I have a water line leak in my home. I needed an additional stay which I booked through AARP. They made me check out and check back in for the additional days required. I am retired and partially disabled but they would not do the courtesy to allow me to move to new room. I had to pack car and come home to waterless house until check in.

I thought the property was just OK. They definitely need to upgrade the beds. I woke up the next morning with back pain.

I liked the room, but I did not like the fact that there were no lamps in the room. I had to get up in the dark to search for the wall switch. That was not good! Otherwise, the room was ok, nice and clean, and quiet.

We stayed here for an important appointment we had around, it was perfect for what we needed and very convenient. The front desk guy was really helpful and kind with a special situation we had. Breakfast was great, many stores and restaurants around. We would stay there again.

I have stayed here in the past for single night visits with my partner and never had issues. This go around, they decided to accuse me and charge me for damages to the room that were already there. Interestingly enough, staff never reported these when they cleaned the room prior to me checking in but seem to report it after the fact. The front desk offered no help to file a claim, a complaint, nothing. They had no proof that I caused the damage. So be careful, I totally feel scammed and they're running a fraud operation to get more money. Hate to lose a good, simple hotel for single night stays but I have NEVER had issues with damage anywhere I stay. I called customer relations and they didn't even agree with the circumstance and outcome and a claim was made. Take pictures and report to staff before you stay to cover yourself and prevent getting robbed!!

The hotel and grounds were clean, breakfast was basic but hot, plenty of places to eat within walking distance (less than a minute). My only complaint is the bathroom was very small.

The rooms are in need of remodeling. The shower was very small. The entire bathroom only consisted of a very small shower and a toilet. Carpet was not vacuumed well and also the carpet had stains. When turning on the a/c it smelled moldy.

Everything was nice, I enjoyed the stay and the gym was nice the pool was available but did not get a chance to enjoy it. Hopefully the next time I will. Overall it was nice and staff was polite.

The location was good but the hotel's floors were dirty. The carpet in our room was sticky, the hallways, and the pool are were dirty. The faucet in the sick was broken and we reported to the front desk. What makes our experience really bad was that the pool opens at noon! It was hard to understand for a beach destination. We are not going to consider this location in the future, what you pay for it it's what you receive.

Our room smelled like old socks/dirty feet. The air conditioning was extremely noisy. For the price of the room, I have stayed in much nicer facilities.

My stay was a good one. Lucked up and got the previous room I stayed in before. It was a little noisy next door, kids but overall a good one night visit.

This was actual a very quiet and safe hotel stay. Very close to so e good food places. Close walking distance to the little outlets. And also a very pretty bridge that has a water fall or fountain just next to the outlets. My room was very clean and Shower was amazing. Water temperature and pressure came out perfect and it was very spacious. I enjoyed it. Will be coming back soon.

Room was outdated, not very clean, smelled . The breakfast buffet l, I give it 1 out of 5, not good at all. I asked for extra towels and pillows, because on a King size bed room there were only 3 and they were not the best at all. Went to front desk on our way out they said sure no problem when housekeeping goes I’ll have them do it.. never done!!! Breakfast tasted like carton, pictures are nothing like the place.
