    We had to get switched out of the first room because the TV didn’t work, then when we got to the second room many hours later and went to turn down the bed. The comforter was disgusting…. We requested a new one and they said they’re all like that so we took regular blankets., were originally scheduled to stay two nights and opted to leave after the first night. The restaurant is trash with snack foods, even though they bill it as a real restaurant. And the desk person is less than helpful in resolving any kind of issues. The only good thing about this hotel was the bartender Eric.

    Room was out of date , bathroom was falling apart, shower faucet was broken off, the sliding glass door had no lock just a bar going across it, furniture was worn and dirty, roaches crawling around.

    Staff member April was very helpful and pleasant, Both shuttle drivers were also very pleasant and helpful. Beautiful place to stay with all the amenities. Highly recommed.

    Was not expecting to pay for parking....as the property had an abundance of spaces and room rates were high. The pantry was nice, but again surprised that the assortment of cookies for the guest were stale.

    The staff Outdated room. It looks like only the furniture has been changed. Old and loud AC. Loud fridge. Found hair in bathroom. Wall paper peeling off the wall. Black stuff between tiles and in corners of the bathroom floor. Stains on the desk chair. Floor feels sticky. How is this a 4-star hotel? The common areas are ok but the rooms need full renovation! The pool was closed. One of the elevators didn’t work. Loud traffic right outside the room. Parking is extra ($10/night). This hotel is not worth the money! I am a Mariott member and stayed at many Mariotts but this is the first time I was disappointed.

    Courteous staff but rooms were small, tvs were too close to you. Also, there was a constant weed smell on my floor and in varying areas of the hotel. I hate the odor plus I don't want my 4 year old daughter smelling that.

    Hotel very easy to communicate with. Answered all messages promptly. Airport shuttle driver was an awesome older gentleman that we enjoyed speaking with. We arrived after 10pm and we were tired. My husband left his walking stick/cane behind on bench at the airport pickup spot. The driver brought it back to hotel for him. Service above and beyond! Front desk was friendly and efficient. Got a drink at the bar from the friendly bartender who was really professional and patient with a couple of tipsy guys. Reasonably priced drinks too. Our room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. Quiet. Never heard a door slam. Shower nice and hot and the water pressure excellent. The next morning our Keurig coffee maker wouldn't work so we reported it to front desk. There's a Starbucks in lobby and we were able to get our coffee gratis! When it was time to check out, we hadn't prearranged our return shuttle (thinking it was just a regular shuttle rotation) and the shuttle was pulling out of the driveway. The staff were able to hail the driver and he circled back around and picked us up. Now this is exemplary customer service! We will always choose this hotel from now on! Thank you!!

    The Staff were awesome. Valarie at the front desk did her best in getting our suite ready asap and made our check in a great experience. However the two queen suite that we reserved was not to our liking. It looked like it was renovated last minute. The bathroom tub faucet looked like it was coming off. The sink faucet was not set in place and moved when you turn on the water. In the bedroom there was out let coverings not set in place right and carpet was really dirty. I don’t know there was a lot of eye sores on the room. But the beds were comfortable and the housekeeping did a good job cleaning. Would I stay here again maybe but not in the two queen suite.

    Expedia booked 2 rooms instead of one and I didn’t know until I checked into hotel. Hotel stated i would have to get ahold of Expedia to resolve the situation. It was evening when I checked in and was told about the two rooms. I was told I was charged for both rooms. I called Expedia the next day, they said they would call hotel to see if they would make an exception, they stated they would not. They knew it was an error,I was the only person needing a room, I certainly didn’t need two. The hotel was not fully booked. This is just greedy

    I loved the balcony and soft beds and location I didn’t like the chair in my room being dirty also there was wet towels in my bathroom as if they were already used. And only 1 elevator worked in the entire hotel.

I really liked the flooring and how the body wash, shampoo and conditioner were mounted in the shower. The TV was very big, mounted, and on a swivel. The onsite Starbucks was a plus. The lobby was beautiful and had the most pleasing fragrance each time we were there.

    The police were called for a disruption on the floor we weee located. We didn’t see any hotel staff but finally heard the police announce “Norfolk Police”. The ice machine was not working on several floors. Windows did not open to allow fresh air.

    Rooms and property were clean and as expected from photos. Staff was very friendly and incredibly helpful. While I didn’t utilize it, they had a shuttle running to and from the airport. Keep in mind that parking costs per night, for us it was $10 per night. Not the fault of the hotel, but the roads getting to it on Military Highway are a bit of a nightmare and confusing as can be. Also, prices fluctuate a lot. So time your reservation booking well or you’ll be overpaying.

    Only the comfortable beds After unfriendly check-in, they put us in a handicap room that was so filthy (dirt & grit all over the room). The handicap shower was horrible & I slipped & hit my elbow on railing by shower. Someone will be seriously hurt soon in that bathroom.

    This hotel was highly rated on Expedia. While the staff were very friendly; where the hotel fell seriously short was cleanliness. When we checked into our room (that had a musty odour) and opened the bathroom door a cockroach ran out. This is a hard no for us (obviously). We immediately went back downstairs and promptly requested a refund. The front desk clerk was very friendly and apologetic and there was no issue getting our refund. If you don’t like cockroaches I do not reccomend this hotel.

When we checked into our room (that had a musty odour) and opened the bathroom door a cockroach ran out. This is a hard no for us (obviously).     Only negative is that the bathroom door is hitting the floor boards. You have to force the door closed and so it’s very noisy when others are sleeping. You have to lift it to get it to close somewhat quietly. Also, knowing we had 5 in our party but we had to ask for bedding for the hideabed and towels to have enough for everyone.

    It was ok. Not the best. Beds were comfortable but I hated the floors not being carpet. When I am on vacation sometimes I like to walk around barefoot and having those floors made it uncomfortable. I also did not liked to be paying for parking in the hotel parking lot. That was not needed. I find that to be over pricing and taking money from their customers was not needed.

    Except for the staff, who were all very friendly and helpful, I would definitely not recommend this hotel. The key code was changed during our stay, so our door wouldn’t open, there were ants crawling around on the night table, and the water in the shower was only quite hot, no matter how we tried to adjust it. Most of the issues were solved by the staff, but overall really detracted from our stay. This seemed like a lower budget hotel that would have a free breakfast, but they did not.

    Loved the staff at the front desk! Sat down at the restaurant before going to room. It took over an HOUR and a HALF to get our food, and that was just the appetizers. We were one of the 3 people at first and still the server didn’t acknowledge us for about 15 mins. Food was great! But cold upon arrival. By the time we got our actual food, we weren’t hungry for the main course because it took so long. Getting to the room walking in was dirty but we were extremely exhausted due to flight cancellation. Very itchy, woke up in because we couldn’t stop itching. Looked around the room, saw so many bugs and black ants. We are traveling with a 3 month old and she got bit up badly. Our body is covered in bug bites. If you do stay here. Order way ahead and do a room CHECK before paying. Will not stay here again

    We enjoyed our overnight stay in delta hotel. We were catching a flight the next morning early so the convenience of staying right there was very nice. The lobby is gorgeous and the food at the restaurant cured my hunger immediately. Delicious eats and truly enjoyed the comfort of the beds. Parking is $10 a night which I guess is average these days. And I did like the cleanliness and comfort of the property inside and out. Front desk staff could have been a bit more friendlier. We loved the new renovations in the room and the modernness of it.

    The rooms were really clean. I always use a white rag to clean as soon as I get in a room and they passed. Beds were clean I use a special light to check for bed bugs before we bring our luggage in. I only took a way a star bc fitting in pool time was a hassle due to their pool hours which I don’t understand bc they don’t have a life guard so why do the hours matter and the pool was really small. Breakfast not included and they charge for parking on site. Hotel was easy to find and the night shift front desk workers were really helpful.

    Due to some unfortunate circumstances, I had a few challenges during my Norfolk visit. The front deck employees, the housekeeper, and the shuttle drivers were all understanding and empathetic. I would choose this hotel every time.

    This entire hotel needs a makeover! For what you’re charging this is ridiculous! Hair in bathroom, stains on couches, all of the wood had black stains on it. The pool area smells like algae! The carpet has stains galore! The front desk staff was amazing and very sweet! That’s the only reason I gave 2 stars!

    We stayed at Delta May 10 through the 11th. We stayed on the third floor. It was a handicap room. The beds were comfy. The pillows were OK. There were no lights in the room at all except for floor lamps and bed lights. There were no plugs in the room to plug in hairdryers or straightening irons. The air conditioning unit didn’t work. We had a maintenance guy come up the first night at about 10 o’clock and said that they would replace the unit the next day because we wouldn’t be in the room all day at night time we came back to the room about 8 o’clock and it was still hot in the room. They never fixed the unit. When we went down to the desk the next morning for my son‘s graduation, we inquired why it wasn’t fixed, they said they knew nothing about it so for two nights we roasted. The housekeeper didn’t clean the floor. All they did was give us new towels. The refrigerator was stuck in a cupboard that was over by the coffee maker. I just was very surprised and disappointed with the whole place.

    The only place that looks clean is the lobby. When you get in the elevator you automatically see the difference. On the floor smells like cigarette smoke and wet carpet mixed together. The rooms are very sad. No good lighting and the tub would not drain the water. They do offer a shuttle to the airport but the driver was not on time so be aware to leave earlier. Overall this property is not a hotel, but indeed a motel.
