    The property was run down and dirty. The first room had barely been cleaned. Dirty sheets and unswept floor. The bathroom had a rusted toilet. We asked for another room and was given one that was a little better. The whole property has not been cleaned as a whole in a long time so the dust and dirt has built up. The only breakfast provided is muffins, coffee and tea.

    The room was really dirty. A corner of the room had a bunch of trash. The walls were really dirty as well. Our toilet stopped working after a few hours and we had to switch rooms. That room wasn’t much better. The shower heads and towels were good.

    Checking in took forever. I paid online so not sure why it took forever to simply give us our room key on an afternoon check in. Breakfast was corn syrup soaked fruit in a container and packaged muffins. The beds were clean I’ll give them that. Floors were dirty, like you need slippers or you have to wipe your feet of sand every step type dirty. Hope to not have to stay there ever again. Not the worst but definitely not good.

    The room was damaged and dirty. I had a big dent in my wall and the door did not sit in the doorframe properly. The bath was stained and very old. The furniture was dusty and there was a sticky patch on the bedside table. Some of the towels were stained. The lamps were rusty and there was no ceiling light so you couldn’t switch on the lights when entering the room. I felt a little unsafe as a woman staying on my own.

    Nothing, the place was horrible and dirty, we woke up finding bugs Everything it smelled moldy, it was dirty, items were rusting, it didn’t even look like someone had cleaned the room, there was mold in the tub and stains, floor was dirty, microwave and fridge was not clean, fixtures had rust and falling apart, it was a terrible stay and not worth 200 a night. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

    The hotel was a little dirty and they didn't clean the room only by request. The put the request cleaning signs in the front lobby where you can't see it so no clean towels out trash taken out. The room was always a little wet floor, tissues and tables everything very damp. The breakfast was old coffee, muffins and granola bars that's about it. Plus side was plenty of parking because no one was there

    The channels on the TV The shower didn’t give hot water you had to turn on the faucet on the outside of the bathroom for the water to stay hot. The bed was uncomfortable. The floors were not swept or mopped. They gave 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel in the room for 2 people. The room was horrible. Everything was sticky the nightstands the dresser. There was no cleaning in that room!!! Don’t stay here horrible.

    Hotel is very run down, dirty, & outdated. I spent $115 for first night weeks in advance. Was then charged $87 for the room and still hasn't refunded. Paid $214 for the second night, first room had disgustingly dirty bed linens, dead bugs, urine on the stool and shower unit was sickeningly filthy. Was offered another room, it was nasty. Was offered another, still dirty. Was offered another and it was finally acceptable but still not worth the $214 I paid. I will never use a Days Inn, never recommend Days Inn and honestly feel I should be refunded MORE than just the $87 I was over charged for! May 18 was the start of my vacation and was about ruined from a nasty room to stay in. May 23 was last day of my vacation and took 4 tries to find a halfway suitable room and was a horrible end to my holiday. I am VERY displeased and feel I was taken advantage of!

    The only positive aspect of the hotel is its ample packing space. The Hotel needs a total overhaul. The Management should invest more money and upgrade the facilities in the Hotel. If nothing is done to improve the facilities in the Hotel, I would not be surprised if the Hotel is closed down in the near future. The night staff was very friendly and demonstrated high qualities of professionalism but the Evening staff on duty that day were terrible in customer service.

    Refrigerator was not working. Internet in and out of service during the 3 hours I needed it. no soap in shower - I guess I was supposed to pump soap at the fixture attached at the sink and run back and forth from the shower. . Shower surround and tub cracked, stained and dirt imbedded in grout. Front desk called out room numbers to guests as they handed out keys - no privacy. Window curtain off track - didn’t close properly. Days Inn quality has significantly gone downhill since my last stay at one of your properties. Will definitely not book at this brand again. Value for cost way below expectations. Bed and floor were clean.

    Room was dirty. They hadn’t sweat the floor. It kind of look like someone was living there for a while. Stains and dirt on the walls and ceiling. Shower dirty. Water pressure very poor. It really was a seedy hotel that people go to hookup. When I was exiting my room at 4:45 am to catch my flight some random dude who was loitering asked if he could stay in my room until check out time at 1100.

    The bed was nice firm mattress, great coffee… No hot water no matter how long I ran the water it never got hot the room was not clean when we arrived dusty spiderwebs in the conners toilet to low. Had to clean our own room housekeeper gave my husband a bottle of cleaner so we could clean bathroom.

    If I could give this a zero star rating I would, the room and bathroom were absolutely disgusting. We walked in at 3 am and had children with us who were sleeping and did not see the true state of the room until we woke up 4 hours later due to the poor lighting in it, dirty sheets, filthy floor, bathroom absolutely disgusting. Highly recommend to run far far away from this place. Had to go to a different hotel just to be able to take a shower. The pictures that they have on the website are a complete false representation of the actual rooms and state of the property. Contacted corporate and sent them all the pictures we took to show how bad it was.

    My flight got delayed and we never made it to norfolk. Both myself and expedia tried to contact tjr hotel to see if we could work something out, but we couldnt get in touch with someone.     Overall though it’s a decent Place bed was Comfortable no sink holes , the bedding was Clean the Towels and Rags were too . Staff is also Accommodating and Friendly and they Speak , just need a few upgrades and they’ll be Good .

    My husband and I arrived early and I wanted to ask a question and Kenny was very abrupt. When we get to the room the bathroom was not the best and everything was just old looking. Mirror over sink was gross and bathroom needed extra cleaning. I bought Lysol wipes to clean!!     Considering it is a Wyndham property I am surprised at the physical condition of the place. The bathroom was in rough shape. It desperately needs pretty much new everything. There was NO maid service whatsoever, I don’t know, maybe that’s the norm today sadly. It said free breakfast, ah no unless you count a couple varieties of packaged food breakfast. This place used to be what you’d expect for $49.95 a night but then again in today’s corporate greed you should expect to pay over a hundred for a dirty, repair needed spot. And the sad part about it it honestly wouldn’t take much to turn the place around and make you feel like the owners actually cared for the place.

    The staff was nice. The property seemed clean. The thing we did not like was the remote for the tv would not work. There body wash in in the bathroom was empty. The room needed to be swept better, the furniture needs to be moved out and swept behind and mopping better.

    It was nothing like the pictures ..They need to be ashamed of how they rent these rooms. I would never recommend this place to anyone,not even a dog. Then someone knocked on my door with hood on.     The staff was friendly, that was the only good thing about this stay. I arrived and was asked for a card to put on file but ended up getting double charged for my stay, they did resolve the issue but it took 7 days to get my money back. The hotel was FILTHY! Covered in cob webs, spiders, little flies, ect. Probably because the front door wasnt able to close all the way, letting not only bugs in but a bright light and every noise.

    Reasonable price. Friendly Staff. Housekeeping needs to wipe all furniture & appliances in room. Breakfast to go hours needs to be extended, and have some toiletries in room. Will plan ahead for a hotel that have full breakfast and more upgrade.

My room had rust everywhere, floor dirty, microwave not clean, sink had hair from whomever. When I went to the front desk to tell them about the room the front desk staff just said, "Well, the area we are located in is mosit and the rooms get like that." This response made absolutely no sense. I explained if there is that much rust on everything in a room than don't put people in it. The room I was in was room 110. That didn't explain the lack of cleaning that was clearly missed. I immediately requested a refund. The attendent explain due to my online booking it was difficult to process a refund. I asked for a new room. If that one too indeed had rust and dirty I was leaving. It did not. I would never stay here again!

    I'm new to the area and needed a place to stay for a few weeks.Front desk clerk (African American women with green braids and mohawk) has a nasty attitude, disrespectful and needs to be fired. Saying i can't get clean towels after 4days???, remote control hasn't worked in the 4days I've been here,went downstairs for an replacement on the remote control, she stated it wasn't the remote control its the batteries. And that wasn't the case.the tv is jacked up.tubs,floors and mold everywhere.internet hasn't work in 4days. Toliet half way flushes. I spoke with a 600lb caucasian woman this morning,... very nasty attitude. They have no business and i wondered why?... but this is why... i just read the reviews lastnight .smh ...PLEASE DON'T COME HERE, very nasty and very bad attitude

    Where to begin? I don't mind a worn out facility that needs a little repair, which this place desperately does! What I mind is the utter filthy, unkept condition of this room. There were clumps of clear gel stuff (like ky jelly) scattered over the night stand and desk. It was obvious these surfaces were not wiped down, at all! The lamp shade on night stand had large black stains over it. The tub had several long strands of black hair on the bottom. The toilet paper roll had 5 sheets on it, seriously just change it. Thankfully there was another roll. Our "non smoking" room I reserved didn't have a TV remote, but there was an ashtray under the TV and faint smell of smoke lingering in the room. Only positive, the bed & pillows were pretty comfortable. We checked in at 4am after arriving on a late military flight. We were checking at 0830 when we could go get our rental car to go home, otherwise I would not have stayed. The gentleman at the front desk tried to charge us $50 for "early check-in" (before 3pm). After some discussion that we were checking in the evening prior & out in a few hours, well before 3pm, he tried to call a manager. He could not get in contact with her & finally said he would sort it out in the morning. I will say, he was very nice about it & that was the only redeeming thing about this stay.

    When checking in, they put us in a dirt room. The floor had dirt on it; the tub had a big black ring around it; the microwave had food splatter everywhere. So they gave us another room that had roaches running crazy. When we went to the office to complain about all the roaches we were told they would come and spray but they didn't. When we went to check out, I asked for the corporate office telephone number the General Manager, Brooke White, got upset with me and she asked why did I want the corporate office telephone number? I said to her that I was upset with all the roaches and dirty room that we received. Ms White was very unprofessional and had a nasty attitude toward me. I will never stay at that Days Inn by Wyndham Norfolk Airport located at 2450 North Military Highway, Norfolk VA

    I actually have stayed at this property long term and the staff are the reason why I chose to stay they’re very personable and professional. They made me feel at home and made sure every request was handled expeditiously.

    We got in around 1230 at night, got our cards quickly and efficiently. Passed out and left early for the air show at Oceana. Got back late and slept again. The desk staff were fantastic, the cleaning staff are lacking.

    This was not a great hotel. We arrived at 1pm and the check-in was supposed to be at 3pm. The staff said the room was ready but said that we would have to pay $35.00 for "early check-in." There were literally no cars in the parking lot. We refused and had to come back later. ther room was just okay, but the flooring was buckling and you could see through around the door jam as it opened to the outside. There are no elevators, so you have to take your suitcases up the stairs. It said that breakfast is complementary, but it was only some pre-packaged muffins and coffee or juice. Not great!

    Too dirty. Someone's long hair hanging off the hangers (a handicapped room, so hanging rack out in the room) Tried to move the nightstand over, and there was so much dirt behind it, it was disgusting, including a cigarette butt....it's been a very long time since you could smoke indoors. Unacceptable.
