    hello good afternoon from the moment of check-in. The young man Marques was awesome even though a lot was going on around him. He held it together. Gave me a nice check in and throughout my stay we had laughed and jokes and that made it really nice. I love the hotel. It will now only be staying at the Candlewood because of my visit there thank you so much for allowing me to take a long drive and be able to rest when I get there the bed was awesome even when I was leaving, I did not have a do not disturb sign in the lady that was cleaning the room walked over and gave me one. I appreciate her being attentive, listening, and being there for my knee it was an awesome. because of my visit there thank you so much for allowing me to take a long drive and be able to rest when I get there the bed was awesome even when I was leaving, I did not have a do not disturb sign in the lady that was cleaning the room walked over and gave me one.     Was very disappointed that no advance notice was given for a water shutoff for 2 hours in the am as we we trying to get ready for an event we traveled for. I asked that an adjustment be made and we checked out early. I still haven’t heard from the manager

    Bathroom was spacious and staff was nice. This hotel is old and it looked it. The bed had a cover sheet to cover up the stains on the mattresses, the floor needed a better vacuuming, for that price it should be better.

    One desk staff for the entire hotel had to take ice to peoples rooms, get extra towels, check people in, and messed up my check in. I didn't see anyone else working there. Carpets needed to be vacuumed, high humidity so stairways and hallways smelled wet/moldy. Someone left my room with the AC set to 61 degrees when I first got there and the door handle was covered in condensation and dripping on the floor. Large crack in bathtub. Could be a decent place but the company needs to hire more staff and do some repairs.

    There was no breakfast there. Location was convenient to restaurants and stores The property needs upgraded. Bathroom had mold spots, there were big fans in the halls on 3 levels which tells me there was a leak issue. Old furniture, appliances like refrigerator was dirty including microwave.

    The condition of the hotel was very disappointing. Cleanliness and upkeep were clearly not a priority, and our expectations were not met. Worst of all, we were not told they were having issues with their fire alarm and we were woken up at 4 am by the fire alarm going off. We rushed downstairs along with other guests and given no direction or explanation after the fire alarm turned off. We all just assumed that it was a false alarm however no explanation was ever given by staff until the day after when it was time for us to check out.

There were yellow stains that were at the base of the toilet. Also, the door to the bathroom was not leveled and dirty looking. Other than these things, our room was good.

The hotel allowed me to move into a room on day 3 of my stay, one that matched the correct website description. The hotel is having issues with condensation in the ductwork which has created mold or the smell all throughout. The room gave me a horrible headache daily and my animals are not feeling well as a result of the smell. I moved hotels. The fire alarm continuously goes off due to the condensation affecting the wiring. It’s alarming to deal with the loud noise early in the morning with 2 frantic pets and guests. The hotel is understaffed and needs new management to help create a safe and overall healthy environment that doesn’t violate OSHA regulations. Being in the service industry for years, you create expectations and standards of care and hospitality. This hotel is lacking and it’s unfortunate!

    The front desk attendant was very pleasant. We got in earlier than check in as we were out of our vacation rental and she helped us get into a room quickly . We sure appreciated her accommodating us and getting us a late checkout for next day so we could go straight to airport after our stay. Great customer service!!

    I loved being able to have the dog there. The kitchen was nice. The room needs more attention the bathroom door doesn’t close. Cleaning could have been better especially wiping everything down. I wiped up coffee spelt on the door and wall. Water pressure in the kitchen sink was awful. Bed seemed old rolled to middle.

    Candlewood Suites was beautiful on the outside of the property but we had nonstop issues on our 3 night stay. Upon check-in, they told us their system was “down”. But we were able to get into the room. Studio suites are quite small. They did not offer housekeeping services since it was a 3 night stay. The first night our room key card stopped working, the room phone wouldn’t work, the WiFi wouldn’t work, and the TV completely stopped working. Shut off every couple minutes. The desk staff then needed us to come down to the desk at 8:30pm to sign more paperwork since the system was down and they needed more information on paper. The staff ended up moving us rooms late at night since nothing in our room was working. Each day the room key card stopped working and we had to get a new one. The system remained mostly down for the weekend and we watched many people stopping at the desk with issues or not being able to check-in altogether. Female desk staff wore pajamas all weekend. The good things would be a comfortable bed and nice amount of counter space. Would not stay again.

    After a long day of travel we arrived at the hotel late where there was a very noisy party in the parking lot. Called to the front desk but they were not able to help. It wasn’t until close to 2:00 AM when I called IHG customer service that management of the hotel got involved and were able to break up the party. Not a great experience!

    After a long day of travel we arrived at the hotel late where there was a very noisy party in the parking lot. Called to the front desk but they were not able to help. It wasn’t until close to 2:00 AM when I called IHG customer service that management of the hotel got involved and were able to break up the party. Not a great experience!

    This is definitely a disappointment. Sure isn’t worth the price. Trash piled up in hall all day and night. Cans over flowing outside main entrance. Enough trash lining the front of the building to fill a truck bed. Go to walk up the stairs inside and I look down and see aluminum foil with some sort of substance that you could tell was cooked in the foil. Total disappointment.

    It was a horrible service from check-in to Check-out. Me and my family arrived Friday evening to check-in well none of the reservations paper work was printed out so we had to wait okay no big deal. We get to the room well key card did not work so we had to go back down the to service desk to get that situated. At that point we were tired and hungry so the front desk attendant express they will have it fix when we get back. We get back around 10pm and our key card still was not operational, we had to go back down at this point we were really tired and sleepy so the front desk attendant had to use his master card to let us in for tonight. Get up the next morning (Saturday) still no key card operational, we endure this the whole stay. Property manger had to hook up a computer just to open the door for each time we need to leave the property. Didn’t get ask to move to another room til Saturday night which we were to exhaust to move anll our belongings and we had an 5am flight Sunday morning. This was a very inconvenience for me and my family. Room 302 needs a major upgrade to that room. I pray they take that room off line until they are able to fix the door. I will never recommend this property to anyone.

When I arrived the front desk attendant said that when it rained that week it knocked the phones out and they were waiting on the repairman. (We stayed two days and we still had to go downstairs for trash bags and toilet tissue) When we got off the elevator to go to our room, it was extremely humid in the hallway with a mildew smell. Our room had a lot of patchwork done. There were missing tiles in the bathroom and the sink water ran real slow. The bathroom door looked as if it had been punched and they just painted over it. The good points were the bed was comfortable and the shower water was hot.

    This is one of the best properties in the area. The rooms are spacious, clean and well stocked. The manager and staff are fantastic! Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel for business travelers as most people here are workers and military. The imposed quiet time is great. The kitchen features are great for longer stays. I have stayed here twice while in transition and would definitely recommend to anyone and will be recommending to my friends and family traveling to the area.

    Phone was broken, lock was broken, dishwasher was full, and some dishes were dirty, there was a lid, but no pot… Requested a pot and a working can opener 4x at the front desk… Never got the pot. It was handed a can opener that didn’t work. Was told maintenance would fix the broken phone and lock… They never came during my two days day. Writing should not be very good and should be downgraded.

    Polite and cheerful greeting by Ms Jasmine at the front desk who expedited check-in and was helpful during our stay. Housekeeping, room cleaning and customer service was exceptional with Ms Zeana/Izeaner who made us feel like family. Mr Freddie (GM) a very kind and understanding gentleman took great care to assure our stay was comfortable and our needs were satisfied.
