Beautiful space. Clean and tidy. The bed was soooo comfortable and the shower was amazing. We only stayed one night but would definitely consider staying longer in the future. Had to call at casey key resorts main office for the code and the guy there was brilliant. The beach was nice and close and the sea was beautiful. Only problem was the bitey bugs but that was outside the property.

Stayed a few nights, check in was a breeze. The property is beautiful, everything is clean. There was an espresso machine in our room, which for me was a perk. Definitely recommend this hotel.

The resort has a very nice quaint and cozy feel to it. We stayed in the beachfront rooms. When we checked in the room was full of love bugs. Not necessarily the fault of management as the love bugs just plumed unexpectedly in the region however, a window was left cracked open and they came into the room. between us and a maid we got them out. My main complaint is I paid way too much for the beachfront room upgrade. I expected more from a room at that price. There is no table, one very uncomfortable chair and a mattress that was nothing special. The staff were exceptional and the facilities were very clean. The location is excellent. I highly recommend the place. I don't recommend the exceptionally high price for the room upgrade as it is not worth it.

This was the cutest little beach stay! I was traveling for work and wanted something cozy and by the beach. Would definitely recommend this great little getaway! It was everything and more!

More information about where to park would have been helpful. I had to move my vehicle because you park in the spot that is your room number and I didn’t know that. Plus the parking spot for room 9 isn’t marked so I was kinda upset about how the maintenance person made me feel when he was telling me to move my jeep. But past that, the place is awesome! I would totally stay again!

Loved it! Super clean and right smack dab on the beach, 10/10 would stay again with my boyfriend. The little putting green was a plus :)

Room was not very clean. Soap bottles don’t pump, no coffee in room, no laundry bag in room, you can’t check in until 4pm and check out is promptly at 10am. I think there are better options for the price.

Our unit didn’t face directly toward the Gulf, but the beach was just steps away, right outside the door, which was still very convenient. We had food delivered easily, parking was simple, and communication with the host was excellent through text. Overall, it was a relaxing and easy stay. We would definitely come back and would happily recommend it.

It was beautiful!! Walked out right to the beach and had a cute little putt putt course and hammocks! The inside was pristine. Loved it so much I booked an additional night and they were very accommodating with that as well! If you’re debating just go for it! You won’t regret it!

Great location but non-guests always seemed to be in our parking space. Place was clean but a bit dated- toilet runs if you don’t jiggle handle, fridge makes bird like noises off and on all night.

Great location and wonderful housing

Location We stayed 1st night and the 1st room smelled of a strong oder of mildew/mold. We arrived late and it rained hard that night. The door wasn’t properly fitted, with obvious crack around door. We stayed in town for another night and went back to give it a 2nd try with same outcome. We ask to stay in another room which was just the next door down and it was no better. The smell of mildew/mold and still the noise. While the room is setup fine and looks ok. 2nd night we had to park across street and across has still not be renovated since the hurricane. After arriving back home and hugging our children my daughter immediately said you smell like mold and all of our children agreed. My shirt and my showered hair smelled awful and I felt stuffy for a few days after. Even after getting home and washing clothes and re showering our hair still smelled.

The property and room was very good. Most of the rooms do not have ocean view but that was ok. Because you do have an easy access through a hedge to the beach. The property does set up beach loungers and umbrellas. You also have an assigned parking spot that corresponds to your room number. Room number 1 is small but sufficient & clean. The only issue was the room needed a dehumidifier. Everything, even the clean towels were damp feeling. Your bathing suit or beach towels will not dry if hung up in room.

Great but there is no reception desk and the chebckin took longer than expected. Also they gave us the wrong access key to the locker. So we could not access the room immediately

Beyond perfect. Room was spotless. Location couldn’t have been better. Can’t wait to come back and stay again.

The view of the beach is fantastic and there are some lounge chairs and umbrellas. The beach is sand and broken shells, you really need water shoes to walk comfortably on the beach and in the water. Also be aware you have to go by car to get food, drink and shopping. Casey Key is residential which is why it was more quiet.

Always an amazing getaway

Even though I paid through Expedia for this property, the people called me and asked for a credit card number for incidentals and I said y’all don’t even have incidentals and they said well in case anything is damaged. Then this morning they called and said did you have a dog and I said yes I did like everybody else And they said I owed them another hundred dollars and I said well I’m not going to pay it and then they said well, we’ll just charge you 50 and I said I already paid through Expedia. I found an office nearby and it looked like it belonged to the rest of the building and the lady told me that they copied her Hotel. He’s is Casey key resort and the people across the street put an S on the end and called Casey Key resorts and have been taking some of her business. What a great stay. Right on the beach and beautiful. I was happy to find chairs and umbrellas for us to use while relaxing on the beach. It was quiet and relaxing. Highly recommend. The room was clean and comfortable. No frills but perfect for a getaway! My only issue would be the door handle into the room was very temperamental and often hard to get in or out but that didn’t deter from the amazing stay.

The property was beautiful and nicely kept. It had a hammock, mini put put and lawns chair with umbrellas. Each room had a mini patio area designated with chairs and a side table. The check in was easy by registering online with your car info for parking permit and we got instructions via text with code to the lock box by the door. The decor was beautiful. It had a decent size mini fridge with a freezer, pod coffee maker and microwave. Just steps off the private beach were the sunset was spectacular. Will be returning in the future.

Did not like the fact that there are no handicap rails in the bathroom. That is all other than that we enjoyed our stay greatly

Great place directly on the ocean. Room was smallish but spotless. Housekeeping was super friendly. Bed was comfy. We used the hammock with the ocean view. Putted around on the green. Used the provided umbrellas and chairs. Overall great stay.

One of the best stays at the beach I’ve ever tim Florida. The property is amazing, nice staff and beautiful surroundings.

Having umbrellas and loungers already up and ready for the beach makes such a difference. The property is beachfront is key also.

Already tired and exhausted… to realized the room I book with “patio” and beachfront had none. Very disappointed Otherwise love the beach access. I usually go there to work and have a smooth stay.

Loved being able to walk just steps from room and be on beach.

My wife was sunburnt, because Expedia made it nearly impossible to provide the correct room number as passcode to enter the room. It was a painful 2 hour experience, including a 45 minute trip to a related hotel, that was supposed to provide this info, but failed.

Remote check-in is available. Just call hotel to arrange.

We stayed in the deluxe Oceanview room, it was very nice. The bedding was comfortable. A small fridge, microwave and k-cup coffee was provided. The outside area was well taken care of and upkept. There were chairs and umbrellas conveniently located to use on the beach. Cleaner came each day to see if you needed anything. Thoroughly enjoyed staying here!

My only comment would be the remodel quality is not what I would expect for the price I paid - I was clearly done too quick with a lack of attention to detail with a missing deadbolt latch and things like drywall anchors with nothing in them. But the room was fine- tile work was nice, furniture was clean, and despite it seeming to be fully booked all three nights it was quiet with no disruptions to our sleep from neighbors. The location couldn’t be better. Right on the beach but a little away from the public area. Our room was not ocean view, but it still had chairs to sit outside and its steps away from the beach no matter which room you’re in here. I would definitely stay here again.

The Building (Resort) was newly updated and very clean.

This location is great and the condo is aesthetically cute but there is an overwhelming mold smell throughout the space and bedding. The smell was even in our clothes after we left. I assume the odor is coming from the wall mounted air unit, the “clean filter” light is illuminated and visor is extremely strong like the pink mold that grows in showers in humid areas. The space has been recently remodeled, but quick and dirty - all fixtures were hung with drywall anchors and are crooked or falling out (hand towel ring, towel bars). The bathroom vanity is too big for the space so the bathroom door can not be open if the vanity drawer is being used. There is also no counter space and toiletries have to be placed on the toilet or in the other room. The floor was dirty with sand and actual dirt. But it is cute and close to the beach. Ultimately we could not stay another night due to the overwhelming mold odor.

The beach access was excellent. Quiet more rustic area. Looking for shark's teeth was fun and unique.

Clean, cute, relaxing, best access to the beach, Pelican Alley restaurant right up the road is amazing. We love staying here! This was a return trip to the same resort after a couple years - it gets better each time.

The locatuon was perfect.

Beautiful place on the beach. Check in was by text and key pad. Key pad had low batteries but with a call the resort gave us code so we could get in with a key. Beach was great with lounge chairs. We drove to resort mainland and had a delicious complimentary breakfast. We would love to stay again.

Beautiful views and beautiful rooms

Just stayed one day to do some fishing. Everything was good except for the check-in process. No one was in the office at 4:00 on a Wednesday. The main phone number was a voice mail and texting got no response. I finally saw a number in small print on my receipt and reached a human who gave me the code to enter the room. A lot of work to simply check in.

Beach was awesome. Check in took an hour, very confusing, teaching main number took a long time and check in night staff was confused about everything. Door sticky and we could not enter twice but FINALLY were told of a key in the lock box outside our door. Ants in room, a roach, just felt unparalleled to the cost! Otherwise, it would be a very nice property.

This property was a perfect getaway. You are literally right on a private beach. Nokomis beach is right down the road or beach. North jetty for fishing. We saw manatees swimming right down the beach. This was an amazing stay in an amazingly beautiful area of south Florida. I cant wait to return. My only regret is not staying here longer.

The staff was really profesional and attentive. The cleaning lady went above and beyond to help with any requests but overpriced for the type of place…

We loved being steps away from the beach. Also, appreciated the umbrella and lounge chairs provided on the beach. This was a great property for the weekend trip!

The check in was not fast at all. Code wouldn't work so had to call. Room was not what we expected & does not match the pictures. We paid for the garden veiw & we got the room in the corner of the building facing the parking lot and the ice room machine with the guest bathroom so it was very noisey. There was also dirty handprints on the door with marks on the wall and lots of dust underneath the bed. We asked for a refund for not getting what we expected & they did not give that to us.

Checking in was a little rough because it was for business, and we had a credit card on file through Hotels.com. My office and I worked with Nicole to get a credit card authorization on file for the stay directly before employee could check in. Thankfully we could get this done because although we were out of office other employees were working (this would have been a fiasco if that wasnt the situation). Employee enjoyed the studio style room for the night and said location directly on beach was nice.

Was assigned the wrong room along with other guest.

The property is advertised as Beachfront my husband and I traveled to the hotel from about 2hrs away for our kid free weekend getaway we arrived and realized that our room was in a small corner and there was no courtyard view or beach view the room was not at all what we expected. We immediately called the helpline and explained to them that it was not what we expected and we didn’t use the room and we were not going to stay. They refused to do anything to accommodate us. The GM said he would lose because he didn’t know if he could rent the room again. No refund not even partial. Nor would they let me change my reservation to a later date as we didn’t want to waste our only kid free weekend somewhere that wasn’t at all what we expected. As a gold member my husband and I travel a lot and I’ve never experienced such low levels of customer service.

Everything from check-in to checking out was smooth and easy. We got there early and called, they let us check in to the room early. The room was very nice and clean. The beach access couldn't get better. We had an amazing time.

Property is literally right on the beach! They have lounge chairs and umbrellas set out for the guests. We maybe saw 10 people on the beach at one time at the most, beautiful location, food places, jet skis, boats and beautiful shells all along the walkable coast line. 10 out of 10, WILL BE BACK FOR ANOTHER STAY!!!

It was wonderful that we were just steps from the beach. The room was small but well appointed and comfortable. We rented an Oceanview room, however that really wasn’t the case. Our room was street view with a very narrow breezeway to reach the beach and a sitting area that was oceanview. If you are renting here, choose courtyard view so you have a porch and chairs outside your room and you can see palm trees, sand and grass instead of a concrete wall. We enjoyed our time here because we had friends that were staying in a courtyard view room. We spent our non-beach time on their side of the building sitting on their porch area.

Liked everything about it

We had an excellent 3 day weekend here! Great and somewhat quiet beach steps away from the room. Lawn allows a place to sit and work (if you must) while still enjoying the view and ocean breeze!

We stayed in the deluxe ocean view room, and were a little disappointed that the ocean view from our room and the patio was largely obstructed by the landscaping. The ocean could be seen if you were standing, so technically….. other than that is was quiet, lovely beach, clean room. We had a great time.

Very nice room. Double glass doors out to the ocean view is great for morning coffee in bed. The room looks like it was recently renovated. Really nice view!!! I highly recommend Casey Key Ocean Front Resort. FYI, there's no hotel office at this location. The login/check in process was a bit cumbersome but we could have driven over to the mainland office to check in a few miles away. We arrived late at night and because of the turtle nesting ordinance no exterior lights were on. We used our phone lights to find our way to the room and then figure out how to use the door combination for entry. I recommend arriving during daylight hours.

The property location and general environment was very good. The room could've used a chair and $5 and 5 minutes of caulk around the sink.

This cottage on the beach was beautiful. Quaint, clean, and steps from the beach. Way more than we were expecting. Will definitely be back.

Pretty place -my king room facing ocean had a nice view - chairs for the beach where just thrown on top of each other - with the options to drag out to the beach one self - rooms were clean - not much to do in the area - we did not see any employees on sight - when we originally booked we were advise breakfast would be included if we wanted to go to mainland hotel however once arrived that was not the case - did not know of bridge closure till we arrived which cause us to stay in as the bridge north was a bit out the way and berry dark along the route - make sure to bring drinks or food before you go over bridge

Great location on the beach. Beach is not pet friendly. But lots of places to sit on the property near the beach. Check in via email is confusing with two different lock boxes and signs inside the room talk about the mainland’s location amenities vs. the beach location. Also confusing.

Location is about all this has. Doors aren’t fully sealed and light spills in around the seams. Basically no sound insulation and paper thin walls. Online check-in is a hassle. Amenities mentioned aren’t anywhere on the premise and basically no food options around. Parking spaces are undersized so good luck getting out without a door ding

My family has been coming down to Casey Key for years and we enjoy staying on the beach. I was told check is was at 4 but when I went to park my car at the building, there was absolutely no where to park. I called the front desk and was told that there was a wedding and that could be the reason why. I asked the front desk if you had to have a parking permit to park on the property and they told me yes. I saw several vehicles parked on the property, taking up spaces, that did not have anything placed in their windshield. The lady at the front desk told me to park down at the public beach access and walk. That meant hauling my suitcases and the rest of my belongings a half of a mile up the road. What if I would have had children or a small infant?? We finally found parking around 9 pm which is ridiculous. Not to mention when we woke up Sunday morning, there were small worms throughout the room. I even took pictures and will post if I can find out how. This property was beautiful but I don’t think I will be staying here again. Over $300 for a night and I couldn’t find a place to park and there were worms??

Absolutely loved our week here!!! We can not wait to go back. It was by far the nicest beach we visited in the area. Very quiet area. I can not say enough good about the resort!!! We wish we would have had a awning at our doors though. That would have helped with the heat and when it was raining. We had some minor issues but the maintainance man was awesome!!! Very polite and sweet! We plan on making this a yearly trip.

Nice beachfront rooms and they have a nice artificial turf mini golf area that is shaded. The walk to the ocean is short and they have a nice little shower area. They don’t have ice so bring your own.

The view from room 6 was amazing! That is definitely the best feature of the whole property. We did not utilize the mainland resort, but it would be nice if they offered something within the property we were staying at and not 5 miles away. While on the beach fishing, we were approached by the property manager who was asking us to leave the area and did not even ask if we were staying there. Once he found out we were, his demeanor instantly changed. Overall a small room, but for one night it was feasible and you can't beat the view and ease of access to the Gulf!

Absolutely perfect for a get away. We enjoyed being right on the beach. Got to experience the circle of the drums on the beach and it was amazing.

What an incredible place, set up with convenience in mind. Clean, comfortable, convenient, a great place for relaxation and recharge. We loved our short vacation and we will sure be back.

Beautiful sunsets & night time walks on the beach

Whenever I had any questions, the woman at the service desk answered my questions quickly and was super friendly. I did a virtual check in, so I never had to go to the main building for anything. The building is on a beautiful, clean, and quiet beach. The town is pretty small and quiet. We walked to a yummy restaurant called Pop's Sunset Grill. The efforts to save the turtles is quite evident. You are not permitted to have beach chairs on the beach at night. It's a very dark and quiet beach at night for this reason, but it was nice to enjoy the quiet without distractions.

Location is fantastic. The apartment is steps away from the beach. However the air-conditioner was VERY bad - I felt like a turbine was within the room. Also, there are no hooks for towels, the toilet paper holder broken among other details.

Great place, newly renovated. Beach chairs and umbrella included (BIG tip of the hat to Steve who set it all up and took it all down every day). The only reason I wouldn’t recommend this place is because I’d want to keep it a secret…. An old school Florida feel without a high rise in sight….

Great quiet and relaxing getaway!

Has the potential to be great but not. We arrived late and used the security code but accidentally went into the wrong room. Didn’t leave us feeling secure. Then our lock malfunctioned and it took awhile for staff to figure out how to get into alternative key box code. Nice beach, nice location and clean. Desperately need to upgrade their locking system and provide evening staff with tools for dealing with problems

AC sounds like a jet engine and there new. Fan overhead only turn on with light. You could not turn light off. Location is great

This place is a hidden gem. Not one complaint at all. Loved it so much I extended my stay. It doesn’t say ocean view but it had one which was a pleasant surprise. Customer service was the best.
