Space Motel

Space Motel is a hidden gem. We were very pleased and I get why it gets such positive reviews. I definitely recommend.

The owners were fabulous! So friendly and helpful. Invited all guests to a Saturday bbq and the Mrs. does the cooking. Food was delicious! I could go on and on about all the little things that they do to make you feel welcome and at home but it would take too much writing. Will definitely be going there again

But, I found it to be a peaceful and pleasant place to stay on our budget. Family-owned really means a lot. Both husband and wife checked in with me regularly. If you are looking for a chain, resort-style experience, look elsewhere. But if you are looking for an affordable place that you will always remember, consider staying here. My son and I were comfortable and made to feel part of the family. We felt a bit sad saying goodbye. WiFi is spotty, but pool is clean.

You get what you pay for. The room was comfortable enough however there was no kettle so we had to use the microwave to make coffee. Staff friendly.

Owners were very welcoming and helpful. Offered free barbecue to visitors and helped get the most out of the Niagara experience with suggestions on sites and parking. Pool was pleasant and refreshing. Property is simple and well maintained.

The owner is really nice guy. He accommodated our late check-in and check-out timing even though we went on busy Friday night. They do a bbq every Saturday night so don't miss it if you're there. The room was really clean. The only problem is that the wifi is really slow haha. There's strip club on walking distance if you wanna check that out too.

The staff were very friendly, they even had a BBQ on Saturday night. The pool was nice and clean. The room had a full sized fridge. We enjoyed our stay!

I didn't like the high price but I know it's one of the most busy time of the year.

Great time in niagara falls. Space motel is right on the wego line so it's very convenient to get around. The owners are very friendly and the motel is one of the cleanest properties I've ever stayed at.

We were just looking for a place to sleep nothing else. Price was reasonable for a Saturday night.

The owners Lal and Hilary are very nice people and will do anything to make your stay even more enjoyable. They also have a complimentary BBQ Dinner for their guests on either Saturday Nights or Sunday nights dependent upon time of year, weather, etc.

Really Great experience. celebrated Canada 150. Wi-fi worked as expected. TV was a bit older, but didn't watch TV with everything happening at Niagara Falls. The Saturday supper with other guests was really cool. The ceiling was painted with glow in the dark spots to simulate stars when lights are turned off. Thanks Lal.

Owners are awesome: friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the Saturday evening dinner and loved the music that was played on patio/dinner area.

Operated by owners, very nice friendly accommodating couple. The 2 things I really liked - free BBQ for guests on Saturday evening (plenty of food and drinks, everything complimentary!) at nice sit down area outside with hosts, nice music and conversations; clean outside pool, no dirt or excessive chlorine in a water. Relatively large room, fridge, microwave, TV in the room, nothing fancy, works fine.

The space motel was clean and very comfortable, the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Close to everything. For the price you pay it tick all the boxes, free barbecue on Saturday was excellent the outdoor pool was great to be in on a hot day. We would stay here again

We had a wonderful time here. the staff went out of the way to please you to make sure your stay was great. The motel is a little tired but the rooms were clean. We will be going back to stay there.

It's a nice motel with really nice owners.They invited us for barbecue on Saturday evening. The location is great because the Wego bus stop is in front of the motel. The rooms are clean and have a good size.

The owners are very friendly and will do anything to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Older motel but well kept and priced very reasonably. Saved a bundle by not staying in the tourist area which was very close by and could drive there in minutes anyway. Rooms are large and comfortable. They have a free BBQ on Saturday night.

Hosts are friendly and hard working. Room not great. Bring your own towels. TV outdated. Remote didn't work. Only one channel. Stayed only for one night as other hotels were way too expensive for just a short night and shower.

Space motel owners were so friendly that we felt like family by the end of our two night stay. Hillary BBQ'd a delicious chicken and rice dinner on Saturday night, which is something she does for ALL guests every Saturday night. Full size fridge and microwave in each room made it so easy to keep fresh foods for the duration of our stay. It's located walking distance to a Fresco where we grabbed our groceries so we weren't eating out very often, if at all. Some rooms have gorgeous updated quilts on the beds and some have older ones. The only thing I would've preferred would be to have had my own blanket (or an updated room). We will be returning...

It was a very nice stay. Clean and comfortable bed and nice sheets. It is an old style motel and the furniture doesn't match but it was a good sleep and lovely urns of flowers everywhere. The owners were very nice and friendly. What more do you need? Clean, decent neighbourhood, free parking, nice shower, comfy bed, friendly staff and a great price. Simple but worth it. I will definitely stay here again.

Everything was great. The rooms and the pool were clean and the owners were extremely nice. They even through a BBQ for everyone.

The owners are accomodating and warm. I have no complaints on that part. They provided us with a few things we needed like mugs (to microwave water - they have no kettles) and extra towels. The room we got is cozy but the bathroom has a few problems. The showerhead leaks on its side that results into flooding outside the tub, on the bathroom floor. There are towels provided for the floor but after taking a shower, the towel is soaking wet (from the flooding). The toilet flushes slowly as well. Aside from these minor problems, the place is convenient and I'd definitely recommend it to people I know if ever they need a place for a night or a weekend in Niagara.

This motel is in a nice and quite area, and is a short 10 minute drive downtown! The room is simple and clean with everything you need. I really enjoyed my stay at the Space Motel! I plan to be a repeat customer and have already recommended this motel to family and friends.

It was quite old but clean. It still had a moldy smell. The owners are really nice.

Bedsheets were clean. We were disappointed by the state of both rooms.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners are the nicest people and make your visit very, very pleasant. The hotel is clean and in a nice area. The area is quiet so you are not woken up by loud noises which is nice. We will definitely stay there again if we get back to Niagara Falls. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in Niagara Falls. Plus if you stay on Saturday, there is a cookout. The company, food and music are great.

Thought I would go a little cheaper on this outing as I just wanted a place for a few hours sleep. Very old, furniture looked as if it was bought at the end of the day at a garage sale. I have never been in a motel room with old vinyl tile throughout and a full size fridge. The door looked like it had been kicked in a few times. Now I know why it is pay cash upfront and no refunds. Next time I will spend a few more dollars and stay name brand.

Room was clean but plain. Painted cement block walls and old styled tiled floors Room included a full size fridge, small microwave, table with two chairs. large flatscreen TV, and queen bed that was very comfortable. The place doesn't look like much but was a great price and comfortable for our one night stay after touring NOTL. I would stay there again.

Yes I stayed at the hotel it was good service trade manager people there are very friendly and I will stay there again clean hotel my next trip to Niagara Falls I will send her and one day off to do a couple of days hope I can see you guys soon

This hotel was located close to downtown while still being in a quiet location. Bus stop was located just outside and staff was unbelievably awesome. Will definitely recommend this location to friends.
