Super clean and the staff are so nice and welcoming

The room was clean and comfortable, and the in-room jacuzzi was a great feature that made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The staff were friendly, and the location was convenient for visiting Niagara Falls. While the jacuzzi was enjoyable, the overall property is somewhat dated. A lower room rate would better reflect the hotel’s condition and offer better value.

The staff were incredibly welcoming, and you could truly feel their warm hospitality. The rooms were spotless and exceptionally well-maintained. I was also pleasantly surprised to learn that many of the staff members were Filipinos.

Large room, clean and comfortable bed, walk-in shower. Shiny, slippery tiled floors throughout, even in hallways. This greatly increased noise in the hallway at all hours. Also, staff in hallways frequently woke us up by using walkie-talkies while they worked, and there were no elevators. Some of the towels had stains on them and were threadbare.

Nicely renovated room, comfortable bed and very clean. House keeping staff were very helpful and accommodating. Unfortunately some guests were loud at night during our two night stay. Not the hotels fault but we woke up both nights a few times because of guests yelling and slamming doors.

The room was conveniently located near the falls. It was spotless and the receptionists were very polite and helpful. The only problem was the air conditioning noise, which was quite loud when working.

Before my stay, I was looking at previous bad reviews and got nervous, but booked it anyways. When I arrived the staff was so kind, the lobby was fully renovated, and the room was amazing! Everything was clean and new, the beds were perfect and comfortable, and it was nice and warm in this winter. I paid $78 for one night for my daughter and me, and it was a great experience.

Room was clean exactly as the pictures show. No extra charge for parking. We did have a small problem with the TV. There are no live channels, but the internet was not connected but it was fixed by the hotel staff within minutes.

I love this place. I always choose this Hotel when going to Niagara Falls. Staff is always so nice and accommodating. However, this time I found the washroom to not be as clean as my other experiences. I totally understand sometimes things get forgotten. Overall I still love this place and the staff! Cannot wait to go back . Thank you for making me and my guests feel so welcome and safe every time we visit!

Overall, the stay was okay. The hotel and rooms were clean, but the bathroom tiles were slippery, which felt a little unsafe. A few additional amenities, such as a safe deposit box, a microwave, and some water in the refrigerator, would have been nice. Not particularly exciting, but not disappointing either—just okay.

I liked how clean it was.but unfortunately the building is very old and with this oldness come certain dirtines associated with door and wall conditions.Everything was functioning well but rooms need nice renovation.in the bathroom you could see several holes for toilet paper holder filled untidly which gives unclean feeling.Overall nice location close to the fall-20 m walking distance.close to the restorants.

My room was extremely clean, bed was firm and comfortable, linens like new, shower clean and good water pressure. The location is close to everything and parking lot is a decent size. Staff are friendly. All around my 2 nights were very good - recommend this spot to anyone looking for reasonably priced accommodation within walking distance of the falls.

There is no elevator, so disabled people have to stay on the main level,beds are terribly uncomfortable, our air and fridge didnt work in our room so we had to move.Just not a good experience

The hotel was decent for the price point. I wanted to book accommodation close to Clifton Hill and this hotel, fit the bill. Staff were friendly. Beds were comfortable. Hotel was quiet for early September.

Unfortunately I had an extremely loud neighbour in the room next to me and it was clear the walls between rooms were very thin. The staff attempted to get them to quiet down but this noise went on including loud music from 2am until 6am. Despite 4 trips down to reception to ask the staff to intervene, nothing was done about it. We had a lot of travelling to do the next morning and with no sleep we left the hotel in a miserable state. We also noted that a few of the people in the room making the noise weren’t even staying in the hotel and so should have been sent on their way but this wasn’t the case. My email address was taken by the reception team when I checked out but have not heard from them since so am left feeling that this was not a serious concern for them.

The beds were really firm, to the point that we and decided to check out after one night (2-night stay). The property charges upon arrival, and will not refund if we check out ahead of time (some Expedia thing???).

The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay more pleasant. Overall, the place was decent and met basic expectations. The bathroom was clean, which I appreciated. However, I did notice a few cleanliness issues elsewhere. The carpet on the stairs wasn’t very clean, and while the room floor appeared tidy at first glance, there was a thin layer of dust that became noticeable when wiped with a tissue. Despite these minor flaws, it’s still a reasonable place to stay.

Stayed here while attending a concert at Niagara Falls view Casino. Easy walking distance. Bed was a bit uncomfortable (too hard). Room, while newly renovated and clean, was not very "homey". Bare walls and stark feeling.

Sheets and bed protector were very stained, toilet was broken and kept refilling throughout the night. Changed rooms and sheets and bed protector were stained in new room as well. Housekeeping mentioned they don’t regularly change bed covers.

The room is fantastic. But the basic amenities are missing. For example, there is only coffee in the morning. You can get iron board on request. No morning breakfast but Tim Hortons is 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Hot water, towel, soap, shampoo are new and fresh everyday.

It was a great room being as we were just there less than 24 hours. As a matter of fact, I think we were there total of 12. A good place to hang your head for the night. The area definitely felt safe and was walkable to the fall and the fireworks. The room itself was pretty clean the hallways and the rugs leading there. Definitely need improvement in the clean department. The staff was very friendly and courteous, checking us in.

This is an older hotel that has been refurbished. The room was great although it needs more bedside tables with lamps. The Bathroom looks to have unfinished renovations. It needs to be painted and the toilet was loose. These are minor complaints. It was a great place to stay, convenient to restaurants.

The place was ok. They need to get the correct size toilet seat though. The toilet seat did not fit the toilet and the rooms have no iron or ironing board. I had to ask for an iron to use. I find that to be ridiculous.

We asked for a different room from what was given to us and the front desk person was very kind to give us exactly what we asked for

The inside of the building and rooms do not look newly renovated as advertised on the website. Door and walls were dirty, worn down, the rooms were bare. The price was not worth it.

Loved the newly tiled floor, we can't stay in carpeted rooms due to allergies. Staff was great and the WEGO stop was just a one minute walk away. Also walking distance to many areas. Can tell they have been working at fixing up the place and it is just a motel so we expected certain conditions that we overlooked as were just cosmetic and the view of just a dumpster. Shower was hot and had great pressure and the AC worked well. The biggest issue was there was such a bad smell in the room like moisture in the walls. You got used to it after while, but each time we entered it really hit us. Potentially has hidden mold as none visible. We didn't complain though as we booked last minute and suspected all the rooms to be the same.

The property has been partially updated in the room. But, the walls are gross, and flip flops for anyone to use with the hotel name written in sharpie. Fridge wasn’t cold, and door spacing has large gaps so you can hear everything! On the plus side there is free parking, and the staff were kind. I wouldn’t stay again.

Hidden gem

Pleasantly surprised by this inn! Outside looks dated but the rooms are recently renovated so it was a pleasant stay. The location is great. Within walking distance to clifton hill (about 15 mins) and about 20 minute walk to the falls. A shuttle was advertised online but there is no shuttle. The staff is very pleasant and the rooms and linen are very clean. The beds were comfortable. They offer complimentary coffee in the morning. The mini fridge in the room is great. Free parking is included! The only thing i didnt like is the toilet seat is a little small for the toilet so your thighs end up touching the cold toilet but this mightve been just our room.

The room was just renovated and very clean. If you want a decent stay without breaking the bank, you must consider Diplomat inn. Nothing fancy but more than enough for what you need! Free parking too!

The diplomat is very worn. Many parts of the room needed fixing and or painting. The bath room light switch was repaired with clear tape. Hinges on doors were rusty. The room was very basic with no frills. However it was very clean, the beds were super comfortable and there was a fridge. So really mostly just aesthetics.

Overall had a good experience. We stayed there 2 nights. No complaints. Staff was friendly. Location was good. It was clean. Rooms were nice. Best part was there was NO carpet. It was a pleasant stay.

The staff were sooo friendly and deliver fast service. The prices are affordable. The area is safe and the location is great because it is walking distance from everything. The rooms are nicely renovated and very spacious and comfortable. The negative side are the insulations of the main door and security; you need to insulate the room doors in order to reduce other guets noise in the hallways, and you need to install new door knobs and locls for more security because I could easily break the door and enter to the room :(

There alot of choices for restaurants in the area I think once they get all the rooms finished this hotel will be very busy.

I was disappointed that the door to our room had a large gap at the bottom, and the door lock felt insecure in general. Walking down the hall, there seemed to be a mix of handles and locks on most rooms. I would recommend replacing any doors that don't seal properly and upgrading to matching hardware.

After I checked in. The first impression was okay. The window had a broken glass. We let the staff know about this and they acted like they didn't knew. The guy was asking me how did that happen? We just checked in how are we supposed to know that. The garbage bin was not cleaned out. I let the staff know and they changed it immediately so that a good thing. Bed was comfortable and had a good sleep. Clifton hill and many other restaurants are in walking distance so that's a plus. It was not as I expected for the amount I have paid.

My car parked their premises got broken into while I stayed. This is not hotel’s fault but safety of area is concerned as not many pedestrians around.

Another thing that made us very uncomfortable was that they have a side door that they just keep open 24-7. It even broke at one point, staying wide open, and they acted like it was no big deal. That door should be locked after a certain time of night. This place was just gross. The only good thing I can say is the size of the rooms is decent and the parking is free.

This hotel was great for one night. Its a budget hotel so dont expect the Hilton or Marriot. The staff was very friendly, the hotel was very clean, we stayed on the 3rd floor which was nice and quiet. The mattress was SUPER FIRM but i honestly loved it. All in all, we loved the location and convenience, would 100% stay here again for a short trip!

The staff are super! The room was very clean but still has that motel vibe. When they renovated they should have added a real closet and a proper dresser with drawers. The doors and walls in the hallways need to be painted. The carpet in the stairwells need updating. But the staff are so nice. We paid $149 for the night. Felt like a $99 room.

Comfy beds. Clean and newly renovated. Great price. Longer distance walking to attractions the only negative. The whole area has $15+ parking fees so it was nice to have free hotel parking.
