    Cardboard leveling furniture, given incorrect room and we didn’t have enough beds. denied additional bedding, though sleeping on floor was suggested. neighboring room knocked on door at 4am asking for money. Had to pay $60 extra for their mistake

    Location was great. Price was right Dirty and run down. No shower curtain. Railing to stairs unattached. Light in bathroom had a short kept coming on and going off. We stayed here 3 years ago and it was much better

    Never, ever book this hotel. This place is run down. Looks nothing like the pitchers. There were homeless people sleeping outside the room as well as junkies and cars on senda blocks in pieces. I was told I could cancel it if I didn't like it, said the purse behind the counter. And when I did, they proceeded to charge my card for both rooms had to argue on the phone for 3 days to wait five days for a refund.Never ever booked this hotel

    I saw that this hotel had just an okay review when I booked it, so I thought it would be fine, but it IS NOT. We had to move rooms twice because of different things not working, and we ended up having broken things still and having to live with them. From ants to plugged shower drains to losing power twice, never having our room cleaned, no hot water and even more! I am leaving this review as a WARNING. If you are just staying a night or two it will be alright, but if you stay any longer like we did for a college class, PAY MONEY FOR A BETTER HOTEL, or else you will have to be sharing a broken hotel with people using it as low-income housing.

    Convient location Our floor in room 135 was very dirty. Our feet were black. I requested for it to be washed 2x. Housekeeping sprayed something on it. These floor need a good scrubbing

    Staff at arrival was very friendly but the room smelled bad, the ac wasn’t working properly, the bathroom didn’t have a shower curtain so the floor and everything in the bathroom got wet, you hear all the noise from other guest while you’re trying to sleep! TERRIBLE EVEN FOR ONE NIGHT!!!

    Room was clean and comfortable overall. First night was a little rough as we could not get the bathroom light to turn off and there were some guests outside until very late that were very noisy. 2nd night finally figured out the light situation and got earplugs. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. Not sure what happened. 3rd night was quiet and comfortable. For the location the price is great and the staff was nice.

    The only thing I liked about this hotel are the people in the frontdesk who were very helpful. The sorroundings and the parking were not clean. The room AC/ heater was not working properly. No cloth hangers in the room and no bodywash in the bathroom. No hot full breakfast, only waffles, cereals, bread & muffins.

    The walls were dirty inside & outside. Property grounds were dirty, garbage cans overflowing. The continental breakfast had stale bagels and old cereal. There were bugs crawling on the walls in the room. Dirt under the bed and we found some garbage. The young man that checked me in was very kind. The check in process was excellent. Thank you kindly.

    Room was absolutely spotless and the linens were really fresh feeling. The staff was super friendly and accommodating! Breakfast better than a grab n go. Nice hot shower and mattress was nice and firm. This econolodge sets the standard for motel stays for sure. If needed another room, this would be the place to go! The staff went above and beyond to make sure not only I but anyone staying there is comfy.

    The room was terribly dirty...stayed 3 nights..garbage wasn't emptied once...was not asked if we wanted housekeeping and they never did come...no clean towels, no garbage emptied etc....floors felt very gritty on bare feet ....spider bites and spiders everywhere

    Unfortunately, it was not what I expected. The front desk service was average, the phones in the rooms do not work and they said it has been like that for the past 2 yrs. Our room didnt have heat so we needed to nove to another place. I would not recommend even for 1 night stay unfortunately.

    The TV wasn't working. It said it wasn't connected to the Internet. I went to the front desk and all they did was give me a phone number to call supposedly for a reboot. I called the number and the person didn't know what I was talking about. The front desk should have been the one to call but she wouldn't. They definitely need some classes on customer service!

    Our stay was for a total of six days. The property looked very well kept. We got our first room but promptly realized that the window to the room did not lock, so we asked for a change of room. This took almost an hour. But when we got our new room we realized it had a smaller bathroom. The air conditioner in the room didn’t cool the room enough. The breakfast was fine, except weekdays when it’s even more limited. The garbage of the property was spilling over for days, nobody took it out. We liked the fact that there were good restaurants near by and that the falls were close too. No staff member ever went to our room for anything.

    Upon entering the room, the smell was foul. Smelling like a wet dog. Inspected the beds for any bed bugs and other critters and found a dead wood cockroach in between the bedsheets and mattress cover. A little research shows wood cockroaches can only survive indoors for a few days before their demise. Which means means the rooms are not effectively cleaned and sanitized. We requested another room due to the disgusting unfortunate event and the associate at the counter did not seem impressed with the requested room change despite clear evidence of a dead cockroach in the room. We ended up getting another room, to find a huge spider web and spider tucked in the corner as well. Overall, I would avoid booking here. Cleanliness seems to be a massive oversight to this place.

    Great hotel with a wonderful staff, comfortable rooms, clean, nice amenities outside, and very close to Niagara Falls: The only reason I couldn’t give 5 stars is because their TV service is terrible..: I had to troubleshoot the issues myself because the staff I asked for help didn’t know anything about the tv service..: once I figured the problem out, on our last night we had to reset the tv about 15 times…. We went without tv the first day until very late when we got sick of no tv and I put a band aid on the issue myself.

    This is not even a 1 star anything. First we got a room that was full of stoking smell although they say all their rooms are non smoking. Then we got another room whoch was fine in terms of smell, but the bathroom is way too small and the AC has the sound of a motor running in the room we couldn't sleep at all. It was a bad experience!

    We arrived at the hotel, and the night shift lady was not helpful; it took her a long time to bring the rolling bed, which she left outside our room. Upon entering the room, we wiped down the surfaces and found that it hadn't been cleaned beforehand. On the other hand, the day shift ladies were sweet and helpful. The breakfast was average and needed more variety, with changes every other day instead of the same options daily. The grounds were not well-maintained; we saw a dirty pad near the kids' playground, and the trash wasn't collected or cleaned.

    My experience is similar to many others, overall a nice and convenient stay. 10-12 minutes drive from Niagara falls. Some renovation is required. Breakfast options were little limited to my likes.

    It was fantastic very clean and tiny. I went with family it is very safe for family even for kids. Swimming pool was a little but it’s very nice. We enjoyed everything.

    I stayed at this hotel from Thursday to Saturday during a recent trip to Niagara Falls. While the location was convenient for sightseeing, my overall experience was a mix of frustration and eventual relief. 🛏️ Room Quality The first room I was given had a noticeably small bathroom and a tiny TV that made relaxing after a long day quite underwhelming. It didn’t meet the expectations I had based on the hotel’s online presentation. 👥 Customer Service The reception staff on the first day were disappointing. They were unresponsive and didn’t seem interested in addressing my concerns about the room. It felt like I was being brushed off, which added unnecessary stress to the start of my trip. 🙌 Improved Experience Thankfully, things improved on the second day thanks to Adriana at the front desk. She was attentive and genuinely helpful, arranging for me to move to another room. Her professionalism and willingness to assist made a big difference and salvaged the rest of my stay. 📍 Overall Impression This hotel has potential, but the inconsistent service and cramped amenities in the initial room were a letdown. Adriana’s support was the highlight, and I hope the management takes steps to improve the overall guest experience.

    The room was clean. The beds and foundation must have been from when the hotel was built. Not comfortable at all. The AC kept tripping so room got uncomfortable. Drains were slow so I was standing in water when showering. Location is good. I did expect better but it is a tourist location in the height of the season. It is better than a similar hotal and price than the Canadian side.

    Think it was kind of expensive for what you get. As someone who hasn’t been to New York before wasn’t sure where to stay when visiting Niagra falls. It was a convenient drive from this hotel. But if I ever went back I’d look for a hotel further out closer to the airport. There a lot more options for dining and hotels out that way. And less expensive.

    It was great! Right from a pre-check in phone call and then at Check in, the woman who checked me in was excellent! She was constantly available for things like towels, questions, even light bulbs! I am so sorry i didnt get her name, because I would mention her by name. And Yolanda, the "breakfast lady" deserves much appreciation, she keeps the food fresh and ready. And it's a lot of work, yet she makes it look easy, however it is not and she does a great job! Even the owner was pleasant, which is refreshing often you can tell the owner, they are usually the arrogant ones. This owner was pleasant, friendly and actually working his property, fixing the sprinkler. This is going to be my weekend getaway location from now on

    We understand that is an old building but needs to remodel the rooms. For us was ok because we spent the majority of time in Canada side taking tours all day. For sleeping the beds need to be changed. When you moved, the bedsprings made a terrible noise. Our TV never worked because they gave us the wrong remote control and the other day I asked for another one but it was at night and reception person at that shift told me that the maintenance guy left at 5pm, so we never had tv. At the end a kindly reception employee during the check out gave us a credit for that incident and this was very appreciated. The areas around were nice we did not used the pool but always there were persons using it. Rooms are a little small but to just go to sleep and take a bath it is ok. We did not had a rented car so we had to used taxis for getting us to the Canadian side. From the hotel it is about 25 minutes drive to cross the border and they charged us $60 to $70 one way. Ubers can not cross the border, so keep that in mind. Our plan was, took the taxi to Canadian side crossing the border. When coming back took an Uber to the border canadian side and cross the Rainbow Bridge walking to US side. Then took public transportation with tickets that the reception counter gave us daily at not charge. Ask for them every day if you are going to move around and do not have a car.

    First, the area is not the best area. Next, traveling with 2 kids would have been nice to actually watch the TV in the hotel, unfortunately, there was no remote. I asked at the front desk, she scoffed and handed me a remote stating it was the only one. That didn't work, no follow up at all from the staff. We didn't have a functioning TV the entire stay. Next, I actually went and bought cleaning supplies to wipe down the bathroom area. It didn't look like it had been cleaned from the previous stay. The tray with the ice bucket still had food on it. I left our room cleaner than when we arrived. The breakfast area just was terrible. We didn't use it the second day. There are water, juice canisters that patrons use and they drip onto the floor and the side of the cabinet. The floors was sticky from this. It was difficult to even navigate anything for breakfast. This was not a good experience.

    We stayed here at the beginning of our trip and at the end of our trip. The rooms the second time were much more comfortable than the first time. I was disappointed when I looked at the bottom of my feet after walking around the room to see how dirty they were. Other than that, the staff was wonderful.

    The property itself was a little "loved" but the room was very clean. The staff was friendly and the ease of check in was wonderful. The neighborhood around the property was very run down and felt unsafe but of course that's not the motel's fault.

    One word….Gross. I booked this hotel knowing I wouldn’t get there until 10pm and I would leave right away in the morning. So I didn’t want to spend a ton of money. But for what I spent I would hope it was cleaner. I spilt a little water and I went to wipe it up with a towel and the towel was black from the floors. After seeing that I put my shoes back on. There was dirt in every corner, especially the door ways. In the bathroom you could see there had been water damage and there was dark mold on the ceiling. The sink was gross. There was only a small amount of toilet paper on the roll. For maybe two bathroom times. And no extra roll. The sheets and pillow cases were very wrinkly. And the pillows were flat. The room smelled like cigarettes. I went to get ice and the ice machine did not work. The only positive was the staff. They were kind, friendly, said good morning.

    I guess most hotels are expensive regardless of amenities, or lack thereof, these days. I understand econolodge is supposed to be the "economic" option; however, it was over $200/night and the room was full of hundreds of baby fishflies. They covered the walls, linens, sink, etc. I gave up after killing a few dozen. I'm at a loss for an idea for how to prevent this since it's a motel with doors to the outside.

    It was convenient location and short drive to Niagara Falls. There were tons of bugs outside but the inside was ok. Sheets were clean. Our AC unit knob was broken so it just kept blowing cold air. It’s ok for an overnight stay.

    The bed was almost next to wall- sharp at end of bed. The bed mattress sunk in middle. The refrigerator had rotten food in it- they cleaned. TV needed a different remote. Bed spread had stain. These hotels need to be updated. Clean floor & bedding.

    Verygood hotel, only one complaint in that our car was damaged in the parking area. If this had been my car rather than a rental i would have been fuming there was alot of damage and it wasnt by a car door!! I would have been taking this alot further.

    The room was comfortable. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. The breakfast area was entirely too small for the number of guests and had very limited choices. Also, one evening I opened our room door and bugs had been drawn to the light near the door. They flew in the open door and we spent the rest of the night killing bugs.
