The hotel has a great location close to the falls and attractions, with clean and spacious rooms. However, there were issues with the pool being closed, limited dining options, and unprofessional staff behavior.

We stopped in to enjoy the falls and the area. Upon arrival we found the hotel was under major renovations. The hotel was very short staffed and while the staff was trying it ultimately caused a start to a less than pleasant stay. Location was, o.k., and fairly walkable but not great. Elevators were spotty, no amenities besides an onsite bar/ restaurant. The bar was ok but huge prices for reheated food that came out cold the first time. Staff said it was equipment issues. Overall, for the hotel was ok but not great. I'd go elsewhere for the money.

The king room itself was spacious and comfortable While we received notice that there was renovations being undertaken at the hotel. We were not prepared for a building site. Construction workers, heavy duty digging eqpt. Work began before 8am. No outside seating available. The staffing was woefully inadequate. Queued for 1 hour at check in. The poor guy was rushed off his feet and had to check rooms were ready. We stayed for 3 nights No room cleaning on 2nd day. On 3rd day after 3 requests room was cleaned at 5 pm. Travis and Frank listened to our concerns We got a complimentary bottle of wine and a breakfast. I'm sure the hotel will be great in the future but I wouldn't have stayed here if I'd seen pictures

It has now been four days, and I have still not received my refund.

Location That’s All No air conditioner for 5 days. Reported to staff numerous of times. Room temperature 75 degrees everyday but their lobby cool for them. Front desk never answered phone and suppose to be 24 hours staff. No Wifi said to many people on. LOL

The staff was great at the bistro and check in Didn't know hotel under construction and we had no air conditioning in our room. Had to use 2 fans.

Very good

I had to sleep on the floor because there weren’t enough beds even though I booked for 7 people. No one would reach back out to me aside from an automated email that I couldn’t respond to. Sleeps 7 should mean there are enough beds for 7 people

Everything was fine, the only drawback was the renovations that were being done in the front of the property

Room cleaning was not done at all. I have pictures of the room cleaning not done properly. A new low - even the garbage was not cleared!!!
- 1/5
Booked for 5 persons, got sleeping space for 4, breakfast was only given to 2 persons. This is not hotel's fault, it's hotels.com's fault.
- 5/5
Spacious clean great location
- 5/5
Just a 15-18 minutes walk from Niagara Falls attractions.
- 4/5
Major construction going on…could have used assistance with luggage or better options to bring in stuff to the hotel. Kind of an inconvenience.

Location was great and walking to the falls was nice. The construction of the new addition to the hotel.

The staff here at the hotel have all been wonderful to us, and we have been happy with the food served in the Bistro and everything else. We’ll stay here again.

The location was great for visiting Niagara Falls State Park. Aside from the staff member who checked us in (see other comments), the rest of the staff was friendly and helpful, especially Maria. The staff member (Kash or Kashi) who registered us was a rude chauvinist. He never said hello when we walked in; instead, he just told me to enter the credit card. When my husband noticed that the charge was $200 more than we expected, I explained that we had made the reservations at a lower rate through booking.com. The staff member then told me twice "you're not understanding me, it's not in our system." After he spoke with a supervisor, he said that he found it and that they had just switched to a new system two days before. By then, we had been on the phone with booking.com customer support and had been delayed in checking in to the hotel. My husband and I were appalled that a male staff member would blame a female guest, twice, for not understanding him when he was the one who didn't know how to work a new system. The staff member never apologized or took responsibility for his own behavior. This combination of lack of professionalism, customer service, and just basic human courtesy and responsibility was the worst hotel experience that I've ever had when checking in to a hotel. I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel to any other female travelers who may encouter this staff member. On top of that, we couldn't adjust the temperature in our room and the staff provided us with a space heater.

I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a room with a balcony, which was a fantastic bonus and made the stay feel even more special. The hotel also has great parking facilities, making it very convenient for guests travelling by car. Another big advantage is the excellent location, as the hotel is very close to Niagara Falls, making it easy to walk over and enjoy the views and attractions. Overall, a very comfortable stay with friendly service, convenient parking, and a great location. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Niagara Falls.

I love this place

Under renovation
- 3/5
Property is under construction. You have to park across the street. We couldn’t get hot water in our room. Shower was luke warm.
- 2/5
No hot water in shower. Ice cold water a minute of warm. I had to get out of shower and wash my hair in the sink. It was ridiculous.
- 5/5
Room was spotless and prestine
- 5/5
The room looked like it was just redone. Everything went as planned and the service was excellent.
- 1/5
The heat in room 312 wasnt working . We were suppose to pay for parking 😒. Seriously paid parking at a hotel we already paid for ? I am definitely going to cooperate for this stay . Not to mention everything on the website when booking was a lie . We couldnt see the falls an clearly it said fall view . We also booked with breakfast. At the hotel they said we had to pay for breakfast . One morning at breakfast . I was handed my food , had to locate straws, napkins & cutlery myself . I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone . An we flew from the carribbean . If it was my way i would totally demand a refund ..

Staff cannot be found. Parking sign wasn’t clear.
- 3/5
area under construction. hotel condition is bit old and outdated.
- 4/5
Hotel was great. Quite comfortable. Food/Bar is overpriced. There was some sort of column next to the bed you had to negotiate around
- 5/5
Quiet and very clean, updated Even had laundry area. While they remodel parking is across the street while a little less convenient not terrible Nice staff Would stay here again
- 1/5
Not clen room, its actually wet all the carpet we felt like its wet. Clogged sink in the restroom, also not cleaned toilet bowl. Overall room cleanliness is not good. They do charge for parking front of the hotel is in under construction.
- 5/5
The room was spacious, comfortable and had all extras needed. Staff were helpful, and breakfast was good
- 4/5
parking was across the street and $10 a night
- 1/5
I would not recommend staying at the Courtyard by Marriott Niagara Falls. We were very disappointed with our experience. First, the hotel has no nearbyparking(parking is across the hotel due to construction), which is extremely inconvenient for guests. On top of that, there was no courtesy water provided in the room (1st time that hotel don’t have a courtesy water ever)— a small gesture that could have at least made up for the parking inconvenience. The restaurant inside the hotel closes early, and there are no nearby shops or conveniences around, leaving guests with few options. To make matters worse, the night staff(front desk) was rude and unhelpful. Overall, this hotel did not live up to Marriott’s standards, and I would warn others to look elsewhere for a more comfortable and welcoming stay.
- 4/5
Staff is good and friendly , property is not cleaned enough
- 5/5
The staff is great here. The food, drinks and coffee options were great. We washed clothes on the 2nd floor and it was easy and the machines worked well. Beds were comfortable and the water pressure was on point.
- 5/5
The staff and facility were GREAT!
- 4/5
Clean property, pet friendly, currently under construction
- 5/5
This place has some construction on the front gate, a bit old building, hopefully Marriot makes it look pretty soon.
- 3/5
It is not a 2 min walk as stated in view of property, probably a 15 min walk to Niagara state park
- 5/5
We really wnjoyed our stay . Falls were within walking distance and it was just beautiful
- 3/5
Cleanliness and linens were lacking. The pillows were very old and not in good condition. I usually trust Courtyard standards, but this visit did not meet Marriott expectations. I am disappointed.
- 1/5
Staff is pretty nice Outside and some stuff inside are awful I left a day early.
- 5/5
When I checked in Tameka was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. She was very helpful.
- 2/5
The staff here were absolutely amazing! They were very helpful and friendly. Now for the hotel itself, it was very outdated and kinda dirty. The wallpaper in the bathroom was all stained bright green, and the door didn’t lock. The pull out couch mattress was so old and dirty, it should’ve been replaced years ago. None of the lights worked on the one side of the room. The ice machine didn’t work on our floor so if we needed ice we had to walk downstairs and ask the front desk. The pool was tiny and dirty! The hotel itself was just an all around disappointment, I expected more from a Courtyard Marriott
- 4/5
The rooms where great the outside area was under going construction
- 1/5
DO NOT STAY at this property. Service is worst. Rooms were dirty. There are many good hotels near the fall and I recommend to book those.
- 1/5
i asked for room service they just did bathroom cleaning beding was not even touched nothing else is done in the name of room service.. it was pathetic experience
- 2/5
The rooms had a pungent smell . The property is dated and the bathroom toilet seat is unstable.
- 1/5
Failed to notify of construction at hotel, poor cleanliness of room.
- 1/5
I was disappointed with my stay. The exhaust fan in the bathroom wasn’t working, which caused the floor to stay damp and slippery—posing a safety risk. Despite multiple requests, the body wash bottle was never refilled. Overall, the bathroom conditions made the stay uncomfortable and below expectations.
- 5/5
Perfecto
- 1/5
Staff was friendly. Place looked industrial in location and exterior. Exposed pillars. Crap in the corners (dust, bugs) in public areas. Expensive food. Sweaty eggs. No diet Pepsi. Slow or broken ice machines. No fan. Could not access open pool without staff. Limited fitness room without wipes or a fan. Out of lots of breakfast items. Felt like a cheap motel with a shiney expensive food counter. Hard bed. Depressing. But nice people working in a crappy hotel. You shouldn't feel bad for the staff -;but I did. All guests looked like "we have made a mistake".
- 3/5
The ice machine was broken the entire week we stayed. The staff told us it was going to be fixed which it never was. The main parking area got closed off for painting I believe so everyone had to park across the street with no cross walk. The parking lot maintenance never happened though while we were there. I have stayed at many Marriott properties in different states, and this one was by far the worst and is in need of updates. Some of the staff was very helpful but I think some things were just out of their control. The hotel was also the furthest from the Falls, so we still had to drive everywhere.
- 4/5
This was adequate for my purposes. I only stayed for one night but the staff was helpful and welcoming.
- 5/5
The check-in staffs were very accommodating despite error in reservation through Expedia.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay. Everything was clean and staff was very nice and helpful. Would stay here again.
- 3/5
The hotel appeared dingy in some spots with general wear and tear. The historical pictures were a good decor touch. Hopefully, the hotel will replace the drapes and carpet. The suite was not anything special. The pull out bed was flimsy. The room was missing a trash can and did not have reliable wifi. Due to security, a staff member had to let guest into the pool. Two members of our party had the chicken wings. I am told they were burnt and missed dipping sauce. I'm not sure if I could recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
My girlfriend and I were traveling back to the Boston area with a new bike. We needed either space in our room to store bike or we were offered office storage, and we were kindly given a bigger room to accommodate space needed. The fitness area was very clean, there wasnt much to it but it did have free weights and an adjustable bench. I did bring my TRX, although there wasnt a pullup bar or an overhead anchor for it. There was also a pool that was also very clean, but I didnt use it. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and our stay was quiet. Would reccomend!

There are bugs on bedsheet
- 5/5
Informative, willing to help, and kind welcome.
- 1/5
Rude staff. Nobody around. No coffee in lobby in am.
- 5/5
Location and Hospitality
- 1/5
Terrible tv reception and location was not very clean. Advertised soundproof rooms. But that was clearly untrue. It was very noisy. Slamming doors and kids running through the halls late at night. .
- 4/5
Very clean rooms and polite staff. My only complaint about this place was that they need to consider adding a complimentary breakfast and coffee. They do advertise that breakfast is not free but that there is an onsite "restaurant". This is not entirely true however as it is a glorified Starbucks that had only 1 person working in the front both mornings we were there. The line for a cup of coffee in the morning was insane. Also, the coffee shop is closed after breakfast until dinner at 5 so if you think you'll be able to get a cup of afternoon coffee, you would be wrong as they don't even have complimentary coffee or hot water or anything available. I feel like this is generally pretty standard for most hotels so this was quite disappointing.
- 5/5
This property was clean, quiet and updated. We were able to walk to all the US Niagara Falls park activities and to restaurants.
- 5/5
Nice friendly staff.

Good location.. close to the Niagara falls. Beds are too small and it was not it's cleanest. Pool was very small. They didn't clean whole we were away and they didn't change towels. Wouldnt stay here again.
- 5/5
All was well. Always
- 4/5
We had a great experience. In the morning, we had breakfast and Chantelle was excellent.

They charge you for daily parking! The cafe in the lobby closes during the day which is inconvenient. The rooms were decently clean! Hotel staff was very nice! The girl who worked the cafe was super cool! Would go back for her!!
- 5/5
The staff were helpful and friendly, allowing us early check in and late checkout.
- 4/5
Good as like morre than average rated hotel with good service. I am happy to stay there.
- 4/5
Love the room… no complaints. Great location to see Niagara falls.
- 5/5
Great stay last minute trip
- 5/5
The room was very nice. We were so comfortable and really enjoyed our stay. Close to Niagra Falls.
- 5/5
Hotel is the definition of a diamond in the ruff. The area is all abandond manufacturing and is a bit run down. With that said, I felt safe with my family. The staff and hotel was amazing. I Was a bit skeptical, but they knocked it out of the park. Everyone who walked past asked how we were and if we needed anything. The room was clean and spacious. We also ordered breakfast from the lobby Starbucks/hotel kitchen and it was good. A touch pricey, but nothing beyond the expected hotel food costs. Overall, I would stay again.
- 5/5
spur the moment stay. it was very nice, quiet. perfect walking distances to the park/casino.
- 5/5
Hotel was clean and quiet. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Pool was great for the kids. We would definitely stay here again! A shot 15-20 minute walk to the Niagara State park.
- 4/5
I really enjoyed my stay!
- 5/5
Great Stay!!!
- 5/5
Loved it
- 5/5
Our room was very comfortable and clean we really enjoyed our hotel stay here.
- 4/5
Hotel was clean but average. We flew in and rented a car. Helpful to see the sights and neighboring towns. Not a whole lot to do beyond seeing Niagara Falls.
- 1/5
They do not even offer water. Ridiculous.
- 1/5
This property stunk. It smelled like sewage in our room. The hallways and elevator had bad smells too.
- 5/5
quiet
- 5/5
Lose to Niagara Falls
- 5/5
A nice place to stay with family. I like the facilities and appreciate to have a laundry room. The walking distance to the Niagara Falls park was like 10 minutes or less. We walk around and enjoy the park, the views and a few local restaurants with a beautiful place and delicious food. For breakfast you have to try The Spot Cafe and dinner at Seva’s restaurant. Do not forget to eat Buffalo wings at Duff famous wings.
- 5/5
Clean and nice but there was nothing in the area.
- 3/5
Wifi did not work at all. My data was also not working either. Asked staff about it and wasnt resolved. My room was also very cold. Heat wasnt working well. Everything else was fine
- 5/5
Wonderful location, very close to the Niagara Falls
- 5/5
The night staff was very helpful
- 5/5
Overall stay was great. The only complaint is that the tissues in the washroom were wet. Called for a new tissue box, but never received it.
- 5/5
It was good stay
- 5/5
Na
- 4/5
Not so bad
- 3/5
Had to ask for a different room because of an unpleasant odor . They changed our room without any hassle and actually gave us a bigger room it just didn’t have a view of the park which was very close just across the street. Restaurant was very limited in what they offered and we had to eat off property. Pool was small but we had it all to ourselves.
- 4/5
The staff was friendly. The bistro had a very limited menu. The beds were so firm it felt like laying on concrete. The bedroom we had was large and clean. The area around the hotel was old industrial mostly.
- 3/5
Another issue was that from the day we arrived, trash from other rooms was left in front of ours for over a day, and the hallway started to smell like dirty toilet paper. The hotel itself is very nice, but it seems all the problems stem from a lack of staff. Although the hotel’s restaurant is expensive, the food is delicious. Lastly, the sofa bed in the studio for 5 people was terrible—an old mattress that would be better replaced with the floor. We struggled a lot with this. The hotel is beautiful and close to the park, but please improve the facilities for 5 people or simply don’t offer the service. Also, clean the rooms! My family and I had to do the housekeeping for our room, which is absurd.
- 5/5
Service need to be better for ROOM SERVICE AND CLEANING
- 2/5
The room needs a deep cleaning and it’s not upto the buck.
- 2/5
Our room was smaller than we expected. We didn't have any drawers for storage space. No safe to lock up personal items, and a huge stain behind the toilet in the bathroom. My husband and I both experienced a rash on our faces due to bed sheets. We tried getting a different room but they just wanted to charge us more money for a smaller room
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
We did like that it was close to Niagara Falls State Park and the casino. I feel that they needed walkways through the mulched flower beds (which were pretty, by the way) from the parking lot to get into the building. It was fascinating to know it was the old Niagara Falls Chocolate Factory and you could see the old building columns throughout the building.
- 3/5
Room fridge is TINY! Coudn't store leftovers from dinner. Couldn't save them because staff only put ice packs in fridge so they didn't last long enough and had to toss food. Back to the falls. AWESOME!
- 1/5
They charge for parking
- 4/5
Everything was good, but the gym was like working out in a sauna. There were no yoga mats so couldn’t stretch or do sit ups. Needed a few more hand weights (sizes) also could use more weight machines or another bench.
- 5/5
The whole experience was wonderful. The best part of this location is the staff. Angel, who works in the laundry, was extremely helpful and kind. I highly recommend this location!
- 4/5
It was clean
- 5/5
Excellent service and very good customer service and good rooms
- 5/5
Room was very big. Staff was easy to deal with.
- 3/5
This hotel was far from the falls and definitely NOT a $375 per night hotel. It was advertised to be 5 minute walk to falls. Not even in a nice area. But that being said, the management was very cordial, the room was comfortable and the hotel was clean.
- 5/5
It was very clean the staff was very friendly and it was very convenient to everything
- 2/5
Very expensive, not worth the money
