This location was so nice for families. Clean, nice staff, great breakfast, nice pool and good location (near everything you need including the airport).

It was a well run hotel with superior bedding. Sunday's manager was a superior employee who cheerfully provided services and recommendations beyond all expectations.. It was difficult to find even with a gps. The toilet in the room was way too low to the floor. I needed help to get up from using it.

Phenomenal hotel! They pay attention to every detail of your stay from cleanliness to spacious rooms, excellent beds and an incredible breakfast. We have been on the road for two weeks and this hotel is by far superior to ANYTHING we stayed in!

Property and rooms were clean. No complaints. A lot of things to do in the area and nearby, so didn’t get to experience the amenities but my same was good!

The staff in the evening went above and beyond and we’re extremely helpful and nice.

The food was a step above other lodging in simular levels and it was refreashing to see the menu change daily. We stayed two nights and had no complaints.

Parking spots were little tight and I have a smaller vehicle. I arrived 15 minutes earlier than the 3 p.m. check in and was told the room would not be ready for another hour to an hour and a half. They did swap us out to a smaller room that was clean and ready. We didn't want to wait for our room because we had an engagement that evening and wanted to freshen up and change prior to it after driving for several hours. Beyond that staff was extremely nice and helpful.

The staff were very accommodating. I’d missed the first night booked due to a missed flight connection. Felicia and Alvin went out of their way to find me a comfortable room when they were nearly completely booked. They were awesome! There is a complete hit breakfast, and the staff member there was very kind and friendly. I struggled with the electrical outlet in the bathroom.

I had a very quick stay, was in town for business meeting. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and I always appreciate the coffee bar!!

The staff was great and accommodating while in town for a Hampton University event. The service will be the reason for my return. Breakfast is steady, waffles are good, sausage may need to consider another supplier, not very flavorful, and lastly, bed was great, but it's time to upgrade the pillows, room was clean as always, again it is the service that keeps me coming back

The property was in a great location u could walk to places we liked that first off the lady at the front desk at check in she wasn't pleasant didn't know we had a 75.00 deposit and u didn't take cash

The staff was AMAZING! The room and property were clean and the ladies doing the breakfast were very quick to keep the tables cleaned between guests and to keep everything in filled. My four stars was only because the bed pillows smelled like sweaty head. I have very sensitive smell and could smell it through the pillow cases, please note that the pillowcases were clean it was just the smell of the pillows. Maybe time for a replacement. I will go back the next time I am in the area. Thank you to Lorna - a great manager who checked in on us frequently and was super nice at check in.

My stay was fantastic! Tiffany (along with each staff member I encountered) greeted me with a warm smile, enthusiasm, and professionalism; she even recommended a great place to dine. I had a wonderful time and in the event I travel to Yorktown again, I will be sure to stay at the Hampton Inn. Well done!

This Hampton Inn is truly home away from home, from the manager down, Lorna is the manager and is onsite daily, and the young lady who worked the counter I am drawing a blank for her but she always wear beautiful braids and has the greatest personality is always checking to make sure your visit is going well, Tiffany also works the front desk and she is simply amazing always positive and very approachable young lady, and then you have Mother Helen running the breakfast operation she is wow the greatest person you’ll ever meet in life just so sweet and very real, kind, and professional all at the same time and finally their maintenance/Housekeeping team are amazing always looking for ways to make you comfortable whether providing clean towels daily or room cleaning services they are awesome my wife and I stayed at this property for 7 days and it is just like being at home Thanks Team you guys Rock✝️❤️

The cleanliness of the room, the breakfast, and the breakfast staff, & the location. Some of the cleaning staff didn’t speak or greet us.

Clean Rooms were dated-noise level-walls so thin could hear everything outside the doors, next room-every time a toilet flushed we heard it!

Always like staying here very clean and comfortable. We stay as often as we can when visiting daughter at college. Just wish the price of rooms would fluctuate so much Only bad part was they gave us a connecting room which the person next door was extremely loud very early. I hope I can request to not have a connecting room next time

The staff was wonderful and the smell of cleanliness was fresh and nice. Just so peaceful ? Will Visit Again.. It's in a very beautiful location. The water use to make the juice taste terrible,as if there is no filter at all. And I think they should pull their boiled eggs. Last they supply more than one towel and one wash rag.

Our first room had a broken heater and it was 26 degrees out. The wonderful manager moved us to another room immediately and we were very comfortable. This hotel suited our needs to be near the Coast Guard Training Center for our nephew’s graduation. Also, next door had convenient Tesla chargers for our car.

It was good and fresh The toilet in our room was very low, felt like it was made for really short people and when you flushed it, it made the sound of a toilet when you’re flushing on an airplane

The hotel is very dated, looked like they remodeled part of it. The AC/Heater unit was super loud, I had to turn it off at night in order to sleep. The carpet was old and smelly. The bed was good. The room and bathroom were cleaned. Breakfast was not good, but couldn't complain too much, since it was included.

The location was perfect for my trip. Very Nice restaurant located on the adjacent parking lot. Parking lot well lit. The property was clean and recently renovated. I didn’t like that I didn’t get the room I requested. I reserved a room with a king bed and sofa and was assigned a room with a king bed and chair. The pool was under construction and closed. The breakfast had lots of options including eggs, Meat, grits, fruit, baked goods, yogurt.

On a positive note. The staff was very polite, I walked past a staff member 4 times and each time she was very polite and said good morning, have a nice day, and Merry Christmas when i was leaving. The room was clean and the AC unit was nice and regulated the temperature im the room perfectly.

This was a very enjoyable stay. No complaints on the room - clean, quiet, safe, etc. Staff were very pleasant. BUT, the breakfast was EXCEPTIONAL! I have never had good food at continental breakfasts. Their cook made omelets available, the traditional waffles, yogurt, etc. ALL was so good.

My room was by the exit at the end of hall on the first floor. I didn’t like being awakened by the exit door opening and closing as people left before 11a check-out. The door also dragged along the ground!

The front desk staff was so welcoming at check-in. It was fast, friendly, and efficient. The room was average. Bedding was good. Towels were thin. The room was clean.

2 of my wheel covers were stolen during my last stay (sad face) BUT besides that my stay was PERFECT!!! I've stayed there twice so far. I do apologize for not remember the staff name but everyone that I encountered were pleasant and helpful. I would have stayed again on this upcoming trip, but the price was a little too steep for my pockets due to waiting to the last minute to reserve. I will how ever make sure to book in advance because it's hard to find a hotel that stays consistent especially when it comes to the cleanliness. So, whenever I visit family or come to see my nephew play at Hampton University...this hotel will ALWAYS be my go-to :)

Our experience was amazing from beginning to end. We travel all the time and this place was one of the cleanest and well put together! The staff is very friendly. Looks like this place is being run correctly. Kudos to all staff and management.

Stay was ok. Clean and friendly enough staff. Breakfast is ok, did get better after the first morning. But, the worst was the bed. I do not remember the last one being a board, but this one was. We woke with sore hips and backs every morning. And queen beds have shrunk…no way our “queen” was a queen. Definitely paid for a double board.

We were in town to drop of our niece to college. The staff was amazing and so sweet to our whole family. My 15 month son loved waving hi to everyone and pushing the button for the elevator. Our room was spacious, clean and relatively safe for our little kiddo. We will stay here again when visiting our niece at college.

Traveled with two small kids. The best location to stay if your visiting Jamestown, Yorktown and Colonial Williamsburg. Easy access to higway. Gas station and krogers within the walking distance, as well as other shops/restaurants. Hotel & room are clean, breakfast is excellent. 10/10

This was the highest member rated property in the area and to be honest I was a bit skeptical about the surrounding area, but it was top notch. Very nice property. Looks updates inside. Very comfortable shower. The surrounding area wasn’t bad at all with a pretty fancy restaurant right next door. We were very comfortable here.

The hotel room was pretty worn out and could hear people sneezing in other rooms. There is a strong smell to powder trying to eliminate odors from the carpets and the bathroom’s floor was pretty dirty. Breakfast was nothing special.

Room was clean and cool. Hallways were oddly warm. New fitness room with nice equipment. Excellent breakfast which consisted of egg white frittatas and chicken sausage patties along with the standard cereal and waffle options. I would stay here again.

We were put in an adjoining room next to some very loud partiers who were apparently raised by wolves and had no idea that other people existed in their "world". When we said something at the desk in the morning, they asked (knowingly), "third floor?". There had been several noise complaints that night, yet the offending party was allowed to stay. IMO, if you get two or more noise complaints, you should be kicked out immediately, no refunds. This should be in the policy in writing which is signed at check-in. Make hotel stays and shaming entitled people great again.

The hotel staff, especially Liza, made us feel as if we were in a five star hotel. In addition the hotel is new, very clean, and with a nice, warm pool. There are plenty of food options nearby, and the area is pleasant and safe.

Friendly professional staff. Clean rooms.

Room was nice, but somewhere nearby was the ice machine and it was sooo loud along with the very rude people who think because they are up at 6, everyone else is too. The bed made both my husband and I’s backs hurt. Clean and comfortable size.

The breakfast was good, but would be better with real strawberries in syrup like the Fairfield Inn has. Pool area was humid and warm, but water was cold. A hot tub spa would have been nice. Room was clean, but there is hair on the ceiling in the bathroom in room 306. Not mine!

Our stay was amazingly comfortable. All the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was excellent. I do highly recommend this accommodation.

We were in town for a family event. Hotel was convenient and clean. Especially impressive was the canteen, which was stocked with great options.

The Hotel was amazing as always. When I travel to the area, a room is most likely available. This time was Memorial Day weekend and they did not have two days available in a row. Had to book another hotel. The room wmand bathroom is always clean. The only thing rated low was the mattress was a little uncomfortable with a dip. Other than that, it was an excellent stay and would recommend.

Check in at midnight, so was not there long. However, the staff was terrific. I loved the fact that the inside door was locked when I arrived. Press the button and they let us in immediately.

The people were great, it's convenient to many restaurants and attractions, and it was fine for 2 nights.

one of the friendliest hotels i have been at in a long time! rooms were very clean and they were on top of anything that was needed. breakfast was great with a lot of options. also close to so many things.

The breakfast was excellent. The place was clean and smelled good. We used the indoor pool and the gym. The price was quite reasonable.

That said, the stay was good…uneventful and everything I expected.

The staff were amazing and accommodating. Breakfast didn’t have a lot of options. Just sausage patties that didn’t look cooked. The eggs and biscuits were good. Overall I would definitely stay again. Oh and the kids enjoyed the pool kind of small but they didn’t mind. Thanks guys!!!

The bed was too firm. Maybe i am too picky, but i love my memory foam. Breakfast was fairly limited on non - sweet options. Staff was all very pleasant.

Our room appeared to be very clean and well kept. Front staff was well-mannered and welcoming. Loved the stand in shower vs a sit in tub. Dresser furniture slightly outdated, but not really a concern. King size bed is perfect for two without feeling cramped. There are a few fast food dining options near by, very close to a Walmart and dollar tree, as well as a gas station & store within walking distance. I’d recommend this hotel.

This property was beautiful and clean. The two ladies up front were fantastic. They had beautiful personalities had a big old smile just wonderful. The breakfast was good. The room was clean. Everything was perfect here.

But we ran out of tissues & they weren't refilled. There was no face soap either. Only body soap & gel. Plus they just remade our beds, didn't give us fresh sheets. We also couldn't figure out an easy way to change channels on the TV.

I gave only four stars due to two reasons. The bathroom electrical outlet didn’t work, so I had to use a plug in the bedroom area. Just a bit inconvenient when trying to dry your hair. The other reason is that the room didn’t have a USB port in the room. I only brought cables for my phone, tablet, and watch. I don’t think I have stayed anywhere in the last few years that didn’t provide USB ports for charging electronics. JS

I had a good experience here. The staff was polite and I was able to bring my dog with me. I didn’t have any issues.

The only thing that bothered us was the strong chlorine smell from the pool. We smelled it at the elevators every time

The staff were very very friendly and so nice. We had interactions with probably 4 of the front desk people and all were super helpful and friendly we had to check out a couple days early to beat incoming weather and they were super accommodating and helpful. They were next to a shopping center that had everything you could need from banks to restaurants to gyms. The pool was nice and warm the breakfast was pretty good not a big breakfast person but decent options. Would definitely stay again.

My preference hotel when going to the spa inthe area it’s a 2 hour trip so I usually make a weekend out of it

The staff is amazing. Alvin, check-in night registration Ms. Felicia morning check-out registration absolutely professional and nice. Ms. Colleen- breakfast Service- super sweet, helpful and kind and Ms. Polly- housekeeping service, super nice. My late reservation was made quickly and easy and from the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out. Our stay was great- the only suggestion I have - or concerns ( the mattress was not as comfortable as I would have expected) everything else. Great! I will most definitely be back !

The bathroom needed some updating and I couldn't figure out the remote for the blinds.

This a really good Hampton Inn in a great location. Lots of restaurants and shopping close by and 30 seconds off the interstate but you would not know it. We went up to visit our daughter for Thanksgiving who is stationed up there. We would definitely stay there again.

My wife and I had a pleasant stay over Thanksgiving weekend after visiting friends and relatives in the Richmond and Tidewater areas. The room was spacious and clean, and the continental breakfast was quite good and attended by two friendly hotel employees. Enjoyable experience.

Excellent service. Stay was as expected except maintenance began near my room earlier than I would have expected. I was still sleeping and woke up to pounding two rooms down where maintenance crews were at work.
