Great pool and hot tub, clean rooms and great service

Breakfast staff was super friendly and helpful, great selection of stuff to grab and go or eat there before you start your day! I still wish it cost just a little less to stay somewhere dependable and conveniently located like the Newberg location.

Tv didn’t work and person they sent had no clue how to fix it.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Our room was right next to the main hallway which was very noisy the first night. The room above us had hard floors which we could hear the person walking back and forth. Thankfully the second night was quieter.

Clean room but dated and had carpet. No elevator. Good no frills hotel.

The hot tub closes at 9:30, the breakfast is so, so. The rooms were clean, the staff were okay. The pool was warmer than some. Overall a 3 or 4.

We really enjoyed r stay here! The pool /sauna / jacuzzi Perfect and the rooms really nice!

We had a college graduation to go to and the hotel was close to that and lots of dining choices. The breakfast was very good and the grandkids had a great time swimming in the pool! We had some “debris” coming out of the water faucets. The gals at the desk were very apologetic and said they had just replaced some water lines. We were supposed to be comped a certain amount and sent a receipt via email which we haven’t received yet.

The beds are incredibly lumpy and uncomfortable, there's no elevator, and there was either a herd of elephants in the room above us or the hotel is made of cardboard. I asked the staff multiple times to ask the other guests to stop running and stomping above us but it didn't stop until hours later when I assume they passed out from exhaustion. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone hoping for a restful night of sleep on a comfortable bed.. better luck somewhere else!

We received an email 2 days before the trip that they did not have elevators and that if we had special needs to let the manager know. We called and told rhem about our needs including my son in a wheelchair. When we arrived they did not have a room avaliable on the first floor. Finally after 45 minutes of dealing with the desk person whoch jad our notes about or needs they were able to get ua a rm on the firat floor. Unfortunately we were not able to use the restroom or shower due to not being able to wheel the chair into the restroom. Also the room was not wide enough to move the chair nexr to the bed. The faucet in the bathroom leaked and had the entire floor wet. The entire hotel smelled like mold and it had an odd smell to it. I will not ever be staying at this location egain

Staff was amazing! Property left more to be desired. We were placed in a pet friendly room although I messaged we did not have pets prior to arrival. No biggie- except there was still hair and dander in our “clean” room that kept our allergies going all weekend. Great central location and fair prices, but no elevator and doors that don’t work leave me less then impressed

I love that it's close enough you can walk to stores and restaurants and the staff was very friendly and helpful and water pressure is amazing The bed was like sleeping on bouncy ply wood the room was dingy and the tv/roku they supply only work the first night of our 3 night stay

Location Not sure why my Maps kept directing me to the opposite side of the street. Also. Hard to make a left into such a busy cross street.

The only complaint was the TV. We could not use our Netflix or Amazon subscriptions. Had to have a Roku account. Kayla, the manager is top notch and responsive.

The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast crew. We chose this hotel because it had a sauna and it worked great.

Didn't sleep due to a dog barking throughout the night in the room above us. We called the front desk at 10 pm to complain but the situation didn't improve overnight. Our room was on the 1st floor and stated "No Pets". It smelled so strongly of cleaner that we had to keep the window open (not sure what happened in there before we checked in). $240 for a room that reeked of chemical spray and having to listen to a barking dog was so NOT worth it!

The Best Western Newberg was a very comfortable and convenient place for us to stay. The breakfast was good as well. We would stay here again.

We had a comfortable, enjoyable stay during the hot days of summer. The pool was a special attraction and it was nice that some family members could join us there. Location was great, with close by shopping and dining.

The property was well cared for, and a great budget friendly stay. The staff we interacted with were all very kind and friendly. Our room was also very clean. The biggest bummer was finding out that there is no elevator.

It is a decent hotel. No bells or whistles and just squeezed in next to houses and a main road but it was decent and clean.

We were there for a overnight stay for my son's State Championship games so we didnt spend much time at the hotel. When we were there it was a great experience and will be visiting again

Its not the hotel at Best Western that is special. Its the staff at Best Western that makes the difference they are amazing. From the maids staff to management are excitant. Which makes the staying there very pleasant.

The staff of Best Western in Newberg Oregon make you feel like family. It is always a pleasure to spend a night at this hotel.

The bummer was the smell of cigarette smoke in and outdoors. When we turned out room heat/cool fan on it smelled terribly of cigarette smoke.

The staff and the room was excellent i really enjoyed my stay. Will definitely be coming back to stay again in the future.

Our room on the first floor was damp, musty and smelled of mildew. My eyes were very irritated from the smell. The room was very hot all night and would not cool down.We didn't get much sleep. My husband and I were both very congested the next morning. We will not stay here again.

We booked this for a wine tasting trip with another couple in the Willamette Valley. It was an older hotel but reasonably updated. There was no elevator to the 2nd floor. Breakfast had good variety of choices. The location was convenient to the area wineries and the town had nice restaurants within a few blocks. Parking was safe and easy. I didn't use the pool but it looked like it could use some attention.

It was a short birthday trip

Reserved a king size for three nights and when we arrived it wasn’t available and got stuck with doubles.

The shower was terrible. The shower head leaked water everywhere and the shower curtain was so short that by the end of the shower you had a lake on the rest of the bathroom floor.

Great central location to visit wineries. Front desk was super helpful. Good value if you just want a place to use as a base to explore the wine country.

Night clerk was very helpful. Be aware there is no elevator, so try to book first floor. Clerk offered to carry our bags upstairs. Breakfast average but coffee hot.

Horrible, smelt, service was rude at first, water cut off and sent me to a new hotel but did not call me and inform me so when I got back saw it was empty and then had to rush to the new hotel for a wedding. Never again will I stay at a best western.

Beth was amazing at the front desk and very empathetic to our sudden stay at the hotel. The continental breakfast was more than we expected with hot foot and many gluten free options . All staff were friendly and for a small town Best Western , the amenities were great- got to use the gym, sauna, hot tub and swimming pool

We were.not able to stay as they cancelled our reservation without us being aware. When we arrived at 10 pm to check in we learned there was no room available because we had a cat traveling with us. We did not see on the hotel website there was no cat allowed. We offered to leave the cat in the car because how late it was and she threatened to call the police on us....
