Quality Inn Newark - Wilmington

The first room assigned was unable to get into. The 2nd room the bathroom door barely closed and the tv didn’t work. Called to ask if someone can check the tv I was told a person was coming up and never showed. Smoking ppl all over the property. And random stragglers on the premises.

Rooms smelled like smoke, and bed was uncomfortable. There was also trash underneath the bed.

DO WHATEVER YOU CAN TO AVOID THIS PLACE.!! the price is definitely enticing but this place is horrible. stayed here for 3 terrible nights. when we first checked in, our room was not clean at all. there was stains on the sheets and the floor had lots of crumbs. they don’t give you enough towels at all. once i told the front desk our room was dirty, they said house keeping would come clean and they never did!! stayed 3 nights here and housekeeping never came. breakfast is literally bread, spreads, & milk. nothing else. didn’t get to check out the pool because it was likely they don’t keep up with it and was scared to catch an infection or something. overall this place is super run down, old, smelly and has bad customer service. the only good thing out of our stay was the AC was super cold and the TV worked but that’s all. I WOULD NOT STAY HERE EVER AGAIN. LITERALLY THE WORST HOTEL IVE EVER STAYED IN MY LIFE

The halls were dirty and when I asked where the ice machine was, I was told “the third floor” which was a major inconvenience since I was on the first floor, on the outside (as requested). The old adage “you get what you pay for” applies here. I certainly won’t stay here again. It needs a major renovation and paint job as well as better cleaning education to the maid staff. Yuck. Very dissatisfied.

Property smelled of cigars and Marijuana. Trash bags in the halls and filthy elevators

The bad things I noted was the TV did not work in the room - good thing she brought a book. Notified front desk clerk upon check out. AND my cousin did not feel safe in the parking lot. My cousin saw/smelled on several occasions several people smoking pot in the parking areas and other substances. This was a major turn off for her especially for families with children who were also staying in this hotel. My cousin informed the clerk of this also. She won't be returning nor would I even offer for her to stay there again under these circumstances.

Upon arrival our checkin was probably the only thing that went smoothly. The hallways smelled of wacky weed and the carpet was filthy. The room itself had broken furniture and the bathtub/shower was peeling. As we arrived later and were leaving early a cancellation was not available. We definitly sleep on top of the covers and double covered our own pillows that we like to travel with. The breakfast area showed signs of cockroaches and the elevator did not work properly. I will never stop there again and Though we don't expect the "top of the line" in Choice Hotels we were thinking about the whole chain. When we notified the staff of our displeasure with the problems he merely said "OK". Never Again.

The location was awesome, plenty of parking. The room needs some updating deep cleaning. I opened n closed the curtains and the curtains were very dirty and held an odor. Other than that the room was clean. Will stay again if I’m in the area again

I’m not expecting this to be a 5 star hotel, but the mattress was covered in something red that looked like it could be blood. But realistically you get what you paid for.

Traveled for sports tournament. It’s was dirty, smelled disgusting and felt unsafe. Sketchy environment.

This place is nasty would not recommend any one to this place....did not stay there asked far a refund the guy was soooo rude still did not get my money back as of now that place is nasty

Easy Parking. Quick and easy check-in. Property is dated, but room clean inside. Comfortable bed and pillows. Great selection of TV channels. Continental breakfast with waffles was good.
