Poor maintance staff as washroom door locked and my wife stuck inside for more than one hour. Horrible experience.

Seemed to be more ling term guests, but hotel was good. Kitchen in the room with useable dishes provided was an awesome plus. Staff was incredibly nice. Hot tub for sure needed to be serviced though.

Loved the hotel in all of its beauty. Pool & hot tub was cleaned daily. Room was very spacious and perfect for our family. I would only suggest breakfast be stocked more frequently, and room keys kept deactivating we had to get keys fixed twice.

Men peed on the wall outside my hotel room window and yelled in the lobby and up and down the halls all night long. Boyfriends of employees parked in front of the hotel blasting music at full volume all day. Adults hopped the fence into the pool area to get drunk and smoke weed. Zero cameras on property and this was used to not have to resolve issues. Used the laundry services and my clothes smelled like mold, mildew, and diarrhea. Workers kept coming into my room while I was changing and in the showers. Had to pack up all of my stuff in the middle of my stay to move to the property next door. Staff rolled their eyes at me and talked about me under their breath during my stay because I was unhappy with what was happening on property and felt dangerously unsafe.

When I got there they give us the 2 room that we rented one was not ready and the other one keys didn’t work I went back they give me 2 different rooms which one was a smoking room where my sons were going to stay to make long story short we all slept on one room and only one key worked in the room

Friendly staff, very good selection of breakfast, conveniently located to food stores and shopping , close to freeway. What we liked the most was the kitchenette and laundry facility . Ended up staying there a month long due to our move, our stay felt at ease.

The hotel canceled my reservation as they ‘oversold’ the rooms and booked me at a nearby sister hotel which as both inconvenient and not previously approved by me. My reservation was made months in advance. I traveled with my two kids from the East Coast only to find that our room was given to someone else. The staff was rude about it and the manager was never available to speak with me despite me requesting to do so several times. I will never book with this hotel ever again!

Rooms were clean and staff was good. Bed was comfortable. I thought the continental breakfast was top-tier. Plenty of options and the kitchen staff made sure the coffee was always refilled. My only issue was my room key kept demagnetizing causing me to have to go to the front desk to get it recalibrated four times and we were only there for one night. Other than that, it was a great stay!

The staff was very helpful and polite. The room was clean although a little worn. The only issue we had is they cleaned the pool while we were there and over chlorinated it causing chlorine burn to my children and myself.

Great value at Residence Inn Newark Silicon Valley. The room was a little outdated but clean and comfortable. Esther at the front desk was excellent — friendly and very helpful. There’s room for improvement with updates, but overall a positive stay. I would definitely keep this hotel on my list whenever business brings me back to the area.

Overall great customer service. Could use some upkeep. The sofa bed was just springs and the couch cushions were all ripped and stained from previous stays.

Everything was great. The rooms were very comfortable, the fitness center small but nice and the pool area was maintained. The only thing that could’ve made it better was if all the elevators were in service. We’d have to wait long for the elevator every time we were going anywhere.

Not up to usual Residence Inn standard. Booked a king bed, got a queen. Room smelled of bug spray. “Smart” TV couldn’t stream 4K video. Unclear why two guests get one gift bag. On the plus side, very friendly breakfast buffet supervisor.

Why does it take over an hour to check in my room? I arrived and given a card reader for a key. Tried it and it didn’t work. I was on the third floor and walked back to the front desk. Was given another card. Still didn’t work. After another attempt they sent a maintenance guy. The lock was broken. I asked for another room. They hesitated and sent me back up. They couldn’t fix it. They finally gave me another room. They should have given me another room after the first few tries. I’m over 70yo and had to carry luggage to and from. It was a horrible experience. I thought the service was poor.

We arrived at he hotel a couple hours early. The staff blocked our room, the room was read,but if we checked in we would have to pay a $25 early check in fee. The staff was not able to give us a believable explanation as to why we would have to pay the fee. We tried to enter the room assigned and someone was already in that room. We had to go all the way back to the lobby carrying our luggage to get assigned another room. The new room had a beep that went off every 60 seconds. The room phone was not working. We used our cell to notify the front desk of the incessant beep. No one came for 2 hours. We notified them again and then my husband finally tracked the source to the dishwasher. We started it up and then shut it down and the beep finally stopped. The AC running all night was very loud every time it came on. It was too stuffy to shut it off. There were only green bananas not ripe ones for fruit in the morning. Breakfast was ok. Staff for breakfast were great.

We had made a booking thru Expedia, when we arrived the hotel simply told us that THEY overbooked THEIR hotel hence there was no room available anymore for my colleagues and I, neither several others guests. Neither the staff nor the manager did provide any other comment or support or solution, absolutely nothing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone under any circumstances. Their attitude is unacceptable regardless of the reason of the overbooking. Never again.

The hotel was nice and clean. The Room AC was not working but they gave me a temporary AC machine on wheels initially noisy. The room was humid but at the end it was not so hot outside and the AC at minimum level would work. At least a discount for the issue would have been great ! But still all was good. Personnel was nice and kind

Upon arrival I was notified that the hotel was completely booked and they did not have a room available despite reserving a room - and a confirmation - a week prior. Further more the Front Desk staff and manager were horribly rude and unhelpful. They refused to answer the phone when my colleague was trying to call and help. On top of leaving me stranded and not helping me find other accommodations and THEY STILL CHARGED ME FOR A TWO NIGHT STAY. A pathetic excuse of hospitality. I travel internationally every single week and this has never happened to me before, by far the worst hotel - globally.

Nothing Don't stay in this hotel. Take a little bit more money and book an other hotel. We were not at all satisfied with our stay at this hotel. On the first night, it started with some exhaust fan from the kitchen (we had a room directly above the kitchen) humming so loudly that we could hardly sleep. On top of that, unpleasant food smells were permeating our room. The next day I went to reception to ask for another, quieter room. I was told that there was nothing available at the moment and that I would like to come back around 3.00 pm. Then we went to the breakfast area which was already overcrowded at 8.00 AM and then had to sit down at a dirty table. The lady who always refilled the food was very friendly but couldn't cope with the rush of guests. When we returned to the hotel reception around 5pm, we were given a room on the other side of the hotel facing the pool. After viewing it, we packed our things and moved into this room. Unfortunately, there were problems here, too. Late in the evening, we noticed heavy cigarette smoke coming from the ventilation shaft in the bathroom above the bathtub. Apparently a guest had been smoking in the bathroom in one of the lower rooms. After this cigarette smell had stopped, another unpleasant odor came from the same shaft. Apparently this guest then also lit a joint. As I had adhesive tape with me, I covered the ventilation grille with a plastic bag. The next morning, when we finally arrived in the breakfast area after a long wait in front of the only elevator in this hotel, there were no plates, hardly any cutlery, there were no waffles, no fruit and various other things that had been available the day before were also missing. Then we ate our breakfast (bagels, toast, etc.) from a cereal bowls. The tables were dirty again. We had actually planned to relax by the pool on our last day before leaving to Germany. From 11.

The pool area and basketball court was nice. My family enjoyed the morning breakfast options. My only complaint is that the first floor smells like wet dog, but I am assuming that is because those are the pet friendly hotel rooms. My family and I were staying on the first floor because we had other family staying on the first floor with dogs. Other than the smell from the hallway, the room itself did not smell like dog and was clean. The front desk staff was friendly and it was easy to go to the front desk and ask for extra pillows and blankets if needed. The kitchen was stocked with a few things to cook with and glassware along with coffee and a coffee maker. The lobby has cold water available and hot coffee and tea throughout the day. Overall, I would stay there again. It was hassle free and parking was easy.

They have a24 hour fitness room and breakfast buffet, the hotel has obviously seen many travelers, it is dated and worn, but the location is great and the room size is comfortable.

Too many people there at the pool that were not hotel guest but hotel staff family. Made it very uncomfortable as they were not caring who was in the pool and pushed a couple people into the water by their carelessness. Also the doors to get into the hotel with the hotel keys do no work so you always have to walk to the front office. Would recommend not staying here again.

We stayed at the hotel to go swimiming and relax. We couldnt do that for either of the days we stayed. There was a very large party there with many people who were not even staying at the property. We watched from our room people entering from the back thru the gates that other people were opening for them. I will never stay at this hotel again. It was such a huge disappointment

Although the property needs some updating, it is quiet, decent and good location. Rather than staying in an expensive hotel in Sam Francisco or Oakland area where you have to pay parking, stay in this property.

We used the gym, equipment was okay - functional but old. Cooked breakfast was available as well as oatmeal and cereals. Plenty of restaurants, shops and boba tea places within two minutes walking distance and close to freeway.

Pros: 1. Very near to the tech companies' campus. 2. Lots of food options near by like Chipotle... 3. Good kitchen with utensils. 4. Friendly staff. Cons: 1. Even though the breakfast was until 10 but most of the food us empty if you go after 9. 2. One of the elevators was out of order so the wait time was too high.

La cocina tiene todo lo necesario por si deceas usarla, El desayuno muy rico y el personal muy amable, todo muy limpio, lo unico que no me gustó es que el colchón estaba un poco duro aunque dormi bien, fue muy comodo quedarnos aqui, sin duda regresaremos si lo necesitaramos.

Condition smells bad toilet had very little pressure. Smells like old food everywhere. Card didn’t always work. Breakfast was not so great either. People outside partying all night through the morning hours. Very loud and hard to sleep. Lots of families live there. Wouldn’t recommend for a weekend trip it’s more of placement for homeless.

Our stay was great. Service was excellent. Room was clean however the floor is sticky so I recommend wearing your house shoes or keep your socks on.

Also, there’s a side door from the parking lot, that you should be able to go into with your room key, but it’s broken. There’s no sign to say the key card reader doesn’t work. We tried, and we saw so many people try, and watched them all walk away upset. The location has free parking, free breakfast, nice staff, and there are a lot of great restaurants in walking distance.

The only 2 things that went wrong were that when we got to the room there was a white spillage on the TV table and the hot tub was like warm.

Reception staff blew away my mind. Kind and courteous. Breakfast staff, wooohooo, so polite and very approachable. The stay was the wonderland..

Great customer service and a beautiful property

The room was comfortable and clean. However, the hallways smelled like burned food and body odor. Very hallway was this way. They need to do a we’re job at containing the smells when people cook in their rooms. It was gross!

But this time We stayed on the 2nd floor & there were roaches on the hallway walls. On our first night, a roach crawled out the wall onto the tub. The atmosphere has also changed & there are repetitive / limited breakfast options.

My friend Cheryl booked this room for me. The front desk said they had no record of the reservation and was very rude. Angie was her name at the front desk. We gave her all of the information (confirmation number, Cheryl’s name, Cheryl showed her the confirmation with my name in it and I showed my passport. She told us to contact Hotel.com after 15 minutes. Cheryl called Hotel.com and they contacted Residents Inn. And Angie denied what we said. We went back later and there was another person at the front desk who couldn’t find the reservation (we gave Bechir’s last name but he finally found it with Bechir’s first name. They said the reservation was not under Hotel.com but Expedia. How was I supposed to know this? The worst experience!

The room was clean, quiet, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The area was safe and right off the FWY. One draw back was this huge hotel only had 2 elevators side by side so it was inconvenient to walk the extreme long hallways just to get the elevators. The breakfast was great and the staff was amazing. It has a nice pool and spa area, however, the spa was dirty and COLD so we were not able to use it. Would have been nice to know this beforehand. We enjoyed our stay.

Good extended stay hotel with full kitchen. Super close to restaurant and grocery store. Staff is so nice to switch us to a quiet room away from the highway. Heating system was not working initially but it’s fixed second day right away. Exceeding expectations.

There were black bugs in my bed and other tiny bugs on the nightstand. They provided no soap for the bathroom sink. Had to use dish soap to wash my hands.

Both rooms had renovation/construction dust coming in through our entrances continuously . The windows didn’t operate properly, so fresh air exchange was very limited all week. I kept having asthma attacks. Our vacation was unhappy and exhausting…very uncharacteristic for Marriott.

The property location was great, but the assigned room was not clean. There was a repugnant smell in the room, and we had to ask the staff to clean the room. The staff was quite helpful, though.

It was overall good just the room across was loud and people were arguing on and off all night. Also I asked for extra pillows and nobody brought them. But they were very kind. The sofa bed is really like sleeping on springs no cushion.

Room is nice, kitchen is well equipped with basic stuff. The suit has separate room & living space, which is good that one person is working and not interfere with the other. I need to print a few pages, the front desk is very helpful to print it for me. I will definitely stay here again in the near future.

We were on the 4th floor next to a bagged off hallway with a plastic door which smelled awful. The door got stuck 80 percent of the time we had to lift the handle and shove the door to open. The light in the living room was out the ice machine in the freezer was broken. I have been here frequently in the last 5 years and this is the first time I was disappointed.

The furniture in the room had termites, we had to purchase our own indoor disinfectant for fabric and a Raid bottle. There was a puddle of what seemed to be water leaking from the A/C. The towels smelled like paint and the tub was so grimey. #201

Hotel smells of burnt food, cigarettes, and animal urine. On the bright side we were able to check in early. We were here from out of town for a family event. We ended up returning to the hotel at 1:00am only to find a roach in the kitchen area. We immediately grabbed our things and got out of there. We notified the front desk. They were able to call the neighboring hotel and get our deposit waived. On the bright side we were given a full refund. I will not be returning to this hotel again.

Loved my stay

When I arrived they attempted to change the rules of a stay and charged me my whole stay upfront. Then I got bit up by bugs and had to deal with plastic in the pool and microwaved food for breakfast.
