We'd like to thank Chris, front desk staff, for helping us make a room change for our second night's stay. Our previous room was in the North tower, 3rd floor which meant we had to put up with partiers up and down the elevator and the bass thumping from the band in the bar. Unable to sleep most of that night however, wonderful accommodations on our second night after a move away from the bar and restaurant area's band. The front deck was helpful and accommodating. Thanks Chris!

I wouldn't choose this property again. When I checked in, I asked if it was possible to adjust my check out date due to a change in family obligations. I was told that since I'd booked through a third party (Hotels.com) that only they could adjust my reservation. I spent the next four days going back and forth between the hotel and hotels.com, each telling me they could not make the decision on whether I would be charged for the night I no longer needed. Finally, as I was checking out early in person I spoke with Chris the hotel director and he told me that I would not be charged as long as Hotels.com agreed. I sent a follow up to Hotels.com and gave the representative his name. They said they called and spoke with him, and he refused to refund the final night. I spent my time at this hotel being given the run around because nobody would own the decision to not adjust my booking. If they had been honest up front, I could have moved on, accepted that I would be charged, and enjoyed my trip. I would not give them my business again.

Arrived and the staff was very welcoming and gave clear directions to the elevator, and cookies! Room was super clean when I walked in and it smelled good! There was staff cleaning the pool every morning, and there was no noisy disturbances! They were also very helpful on how to use their shuttle services to the SJC airport! Would stay here again if I’m ever in the area!

Stay only building that has lobby. Other building smells bad and strong Clorox smell in whole building and needs to be remodeled, fixed or repaired. Many broken things in room. New building with lobby is only place to stay. Clean and new

Nice size room, but desk chair had little to no padding, felt like I was sitting on metal tubes. Large gap between entry door and jam; light from hallway lights could be seen. Had to call the front desk 4 times before I spoke to someone about how to connect to hotel's Wi-Fi network.

Good stay in a location in Fremont (here for a wedding) that was convenient to us and everywhere we needed to get to. Took us a hour to get to downtown SF for site-seeing, but we expected that… we chose this hotel because it was near wedding venue, not SF. Room was clean and spacious for two. Basic but nice amenities. I liked the outdoor garden areas and the “California feel” while speaking around the property. Didn’t use the pool. I asked for a late checkout because of a wedding that we were attending on the day of checkout, and the staff was helpful and polite but couldn’t guarantee it so that was a big stressful. In the end it worked out, but was a bit touch-and-go for a while there. Overall, a great fit for us at a good price point. Would recommend if you need to be in Fremont.

The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. No complaints besides the jacuzzi was being worked on and the workers were at the time being quite loud. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

I reserved a room that was suppose to have the view of the pond and instead they gave me a room facing the parking lot.

I always try to stay at a double tree whenever i can and this place is pretty good. Only issue i had was the toilet leaked from the tank that sat on the base, either the screws were loose or the gasket went bad. I dont think they fixed it

Hotel is under renovation and was not informed. Main elevator was out of service and had to use the freight elevator with construction team and was very dirty. TV in room did not work and had to have maintenance come to the room and check it out and he said he would return to fix and never returned.

Stayed here this past weekend and although the actual room was OK, not dirty but outdated. What made this stay not a 5 star was the broken elevator for the 4th floor. And we were given a room on the 4th floor. Like if you know it's not working, why continue to book rooms on that floor? We would have to wait 10-15min each time we needed to go back up for someone to come down the other elevator. And we were there 2 nights and not once did we even see maintenance attempting to fix it. There was just signs posted it was out of order but the signs looked old so who know how long it's been out of order. The hot tub was out of service and I had seen a review a couple months ago on this issue so not sure if it's been out of service this long. The price was higher than other places we looked at so I figured it would be nicer and we didn't get working elevator, not even continental breakfast included. Another issue I had was that I'm an exclusive pumping mom and had called 3 times the week before to confirm if there was mini fridge and a freezer and each time was told yes the mini fridge had a freezer compartment. Once we arrive, turns out it was only a fridge. I would have been better prepared if I would have known. I called the front desk if they could freeze my ice packs then and they said no that I would have to contact the Bistro 880 and ask if they can help, but didn't even attempt to help me even though I was their guest.

Room was nice and clean. They had a Christmas party Friday night and didn’t save any parking for guests. I had to park at the back of the building with all the construction equipment. I walk with a cane. I asked the desk if there was a short cut to get to the back of the building when I checked out. They told me I had to walk all the way around the outside of the building to get to my car.

The staff was helpful in sending security to a room next to mine with people playing loud music and drinking and yelling. I wish they would have kept an eye on it because about an hour later they were back at it and i had to call AGAIN. I stay here because it is always quiet due to the party policy. But i slept bad and work was very hard today.

It was clean with great amenities. The restaurant was very nice and the live music was an unexpected treat. Staff was able to fix a double booking from bookings.com before I checked out, no questions asked. I ordered a balcony room and it overlooked a pond and gazebo which was an added bonus.

The front desk gave away my room and left me with no place to stay after i had talked to someone directly the night of my reservation because my flight was canceled. They assured me my reservation would be checked in and i would just have to stop by the next day when i arrived to get my key and pay my deposit. I would be charged for the one night i didnt stay but would have a room for the rest of my stay. When they said i didnt have a room, I waited for a manager to clear up what was clearly a mistake on their part and all the front desk staff did was give me excuse after excuse even when i showed them the call log on my phone regarding when i called. I didnt stay at this hotel because they gave away my room and left me stranded in an unfamiliar town with no alternate options. The nearest available room was super sketchy motel 6 and they had way better front desk staff.

The least expensive one would be a PC for guest use. This is a 300+ room hotel and no PC/printer availability - from a cost perspective that is what is called dumb. Secondly, and tougher to fix; either have a restaurant and do a good job or don't have one. This restaurant in many ways is a very poor rendition.

I think you should have a good wifi service as default, instead of guests being a stuck with turtle-speed service for free and then charging $5 for good speed, Might as well charge $5 extra for the room and include a top-speed wifi service. Geez! It's 2025! What's next? Charge for extra towels?

The breakfast is not included as advertised. If you want the buffet, you have to fork out quite a bit of money. So don’t expect breakfast to be included in the hotel rate. It’s misleading information.

We are loyal guests of Double Tree/Hilton hotels. Our stay was great per usual, EXCEPT for when we went to the front desk to purchase some drinks and ask for some of the famous DT cookies. The front desk worker named HONEY was SO RUDE to us. There was a male of a different race, that she was helping before us. She was super nice and polite to him. Then when it came to us, her whole demeanor changed. She had a STANK attitude and made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. She made us feel like we didn’t belong there! This was our first racist encounter ever. Ironically, she was a foreigner with an accent! The NERVE! Please take action so no other guests ever feel the way we felt. Again her name is HONEY. Shame on you HONEY your customer service SUCKS!!

Size of room was adequate. Bed was comfortable enough. Room needed maintenance. Bathroom shower curtain railing screw lose on one side. Sink faucet water pressure was too weak. Shower head needed cleaning. Worst of all, ants were everywhere, bed, bathroom, floor, crawling on door frame. Despite telling Front desk and they said will ‘spray it down’ after the first night, it didn’t get better. Very disappointed.

Guest services was so friendly, rooms were clean, beds and pillows were so comfortable. Enjoyed our stay.

I love staying here when I work in Fremont! Its pricier than other stays, but always worth it. This time, the front desk staff didnt even tell me how to get to my room, which ar first I thought was kind of annoying, however i was tired from work. I did end up finding it pretty easily because i have been there before. The coffee machines in the room at silly, so I figured I d grab some in the lobby. When i asked the front desk, they said it was only available for purchase. I feel like with the price of the rooms, although incredibly comfy, they should at least offer somw free coffee. Even La Quinta has free breakfast and coffee and is almost half the price. Ill 💯 stay again. But probably not as often. Its a very clean, cozy, and nice place overall

The man working the Front Desk was apologetic but couldn't help me; he was unable to find batteries. He also apologized for not answering the phone and said the phone system was currently down. Ultimately, I paid $130 for a room on Fourth of July, to watch TV on my phone.

Our trip got of to a rocky start. Hotels.com cancelled our reservation without telling us, however, the nice lady at reservations helped us figured it out and was able to help us book a room. Will only stay at a Double Tree for now on.

To make matters worse, when I called room service to request a simple toast for my children, I was told they were too busy due to a party happening at the hotel and could not accommodate us. The lack of basic hospitality and customer service was shocking. This was by far the worst hotel experience we've ever had. I would not recommend this place to anyone traveling with family.
