Location. Room. Did not like the breakfast. Just two lifts, that are busy all the time. Do not use their concierge arrange airport transport - picking around other hotel, we were on the road for 1 h and 55 minutes!

Great location, good housekeeping, enjoyed the grab and go section to get a late night soft drink etc. Felt a bit tired with facilities and bar area/restaurant felt a bit cheap.
- 3.5/5
The property was clean and the bathroom was modern. I booked it for the location. I was in an inside room so it was quiet The property was very basic for the high price. It felt like a small dorm room. I had just enough space to walk around my bed. It definitely felt cramped and like I had been given a tiny room because I was a slow traveller. The 2 elevators are not nearly enough for the size of the building. There was often an endless wait.

We loved everything. I stayed with my daughter for a one-week trip in New York. We received a room with two separate beds, exactly as we had booked. Because we arrived early after a transatlantic flight, the receptionist, Salley, kindly offered to give us the room well before the official check-in time. The hotel’s location is excellent, and the staff helped us with everything we asked for. There wasn’t anything we really didn’t like, but just to mention something, as has been said before: the elevators are a bit slow, especially in the morning, and there isn’t really a closet in the room.

However, you might find yourself queuing for the lift as if it's an attraction - two tiny lifts used for service also. No fridge in room. Lastly, the security deposit, wasn't made clear it would deduct additional fees (resort fee, I think? Though unclear what that is, didn't experience anything notable).

Você pode usar este comentário em inglês: I had an excellent stay at this hotel in New York. The service was outstanding from start to finish. Everyone was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful, from the front desk staff to the team handling luggage. A special thank you to one of the luggage attendants who went above and beyond to help me weigh and organize my bags before my trip. His kindness and willingness to help made a real difference. I would also like to compliment the housekeeping team, as well as the staff at the bar and café. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist. The hotel is very clean, well maintained, and in a great location. Thank you all for making my stay so enjoyable. Congratulations to the entire team for providing such exceptional service!

Breakfast selection was good except for some things being unavailable some days e.g. yoghurt. Comfortable variety of areas to sit while eating and drinking. Bar staffer (male) gave very good service. 15 mins walking distance to Times Square. Bag storage available Advice from the front desk about taxi availability not good. Should have been told to walk to an Avenue for the best chance of securing one.

Very poorly maintained hotel. Do not go by the current rating the hotel has online. I had booked one night extra for an early check in, but my room was bot kept on hold when I arrived early from the Airport in the morning for me to check in. And I was also charged an extra fee of no show. I had booked for 2 nights but I checked out from the hotel the same day of check in by 12 noon; but the hotel billed me for 2 nights.

I loved this property. The location was great. The room was a good size for NY, the bed was super comfy and the TV was easy to use. location is okay , smart tv staff should really have separated elevator for maintenance. Waiting times for elevator was unbearable , also when it comes once it stops on each floor, goes to basement etc. Hotel is basically repainted 1-2 stars hotel with nicer pictures than actual feels ( no fridge, very small rooms, no ice machines ..)

Booked a room for 4 people, two very small double beds side by side and the room itself was so so small. Very little space for four people, maybe this is the norm for New York ? In addition, shower basically trickled out with very little pressure, reported the issue same day and told it would be looked at. Didn't fix the problem and had no feedback on it either. Very expensive hotel for what you get, there are definitely other hotels that will give better value.

Nothing ! I hated the shower it was full of limescale, I feel like the pics on booking.com is not fully matching the reality of what you get. The bed was super soft I don’t like that it’s not good for my back. Thin windows heard everything happening on the street at night, after a long delayed flight I couldn’t sleep properly. The elevator look old and dodgy it felt like a glamorised motel more than a hotel. I feel like the hotel needs renovations. I couldn’t stay for the rest of the duration I checked out the next morning and found somewhere else. Best decision I made ! Disappointing because the voco in Paris is much more comfortable I thought I’ll get the same experience

Stayed for 5 nights. Property was perfect for my partner and I to explore the city with Penn Station being so close. Far enough away from times square to avoid the chaos. Would stay here again in future Rooms a bit small when travelling with two large suitcases but this was expected due to it being New York
- 4.5/5
Staff were friendly The welcoming drink is a nice touch on arrival. breakfast was included and was large as you ordered and they delivered to the table. Very nice food a big breakfast with choice Water provided each day popcorn and afternoon cold drink when you came in from exploring The restaurant serves great food at reasonable prices discount is offered on a daily basis if you’re staying there The mattress was okay the pillows were comfortable The shower water was nice and hot but the pressure was a little slow The position of this Hotel is excellent making it easy to reach many of the highlights for example Times Square Empire State building Broadway Central Park Highline Hudson yards and not difficult to get to the Statue of Liberty Nothing

We loved the location, so close to some of the major attractions, as well as to the metro. The staff was amazing, very polite and professional. Complimentary drinks at the arrival were a nice touch, as well as free popcorn. :) Also we never waited long for the elevator, it is very very efficient and fast. The water in the bath wasn't draining well, so after a shower you had water up to the mid-calfs. We had to remove the mesh, which solved the problem - apparently the mesh was a bit occluded.

- Location of a hotel is great, great proximity to Pen station and underground connections in general. It is also gratifying starting point when you want to see different parts of New York. - Bed was very comfortable, and the room was quite modern. - Room was on a smaller side but bathroom was quite spacious. - I highly appreciated reusable and recycle water bottles, plus coffee machine was not too bed (for a hotel coffee machine). - We were on a 14th floor with windows facing inner courtyard, so the room was quite quiet. - I am not sure whether it was AC or fridge, but one of these appliances was very loud in the night, so I had to wear my earplugs, it is not a big deal with earplugs (so my advise is to bring them). - Elevators were horrible, as they are small and sometimes we had to wait 15 min. to get down as they were always full. I would don't mind taking stares, but my mum is not managing to do so.

On our first night, we were assigned a room on the third floor facing the main street, where there was active construction. Throughout the night, loud noise from traffic passing over a nearby manhole cover made it extremely difficult to sleep. Unfortunately, this significantly impacted our rest and overall comfort. The following morning, we contacted customer service regarding the issue. We were informed that a room change could be arranged, but not until 3:00 PM when availability allowed. However, we were also asked to vacate our room by 11:00 AM, which created an inconvenient gap in the relocation process. At the front desk, our interaction with one staff member, Salley was unhelpful and unprofessional in tone. We were not provided with clear guidance regarding luggage storage or the relocation process, which added to the frustration of the situation. In contrast, we later spoke with the assistant manager, Randy, who was professional, polite, apologetic and he assisted us in resolving the issue as best as possible. After relocating to a second room, there was an additional concerning incident when someone knocked on our door late in the evening, initially identifying themselves as police. This caused confusion and concern. We later learned this was not the case and was instead related to a hotel apology gesture, but the way it was communicated was inappropriate and unsettling. We also requested compensation for the first night due to the disrupted stay and lack of sleep. However, despite discussions with management, no credit was provided. While certain staff members, particularly the assistant manager, were courteous and tried to assist, the overall experience at Voco Hotel did not meet expectations. Due to the issues with noise, communication and service handling.

Our recent stay at Voco Hotel was very disappointing and I would rate the overall experience 1 star due to significant service and comfort issues, despite a few positive interactions with staff. Throughout the night, loud noise from traffic passing over a nearby manhole cover made it extremely difficult to sleep. Unfortunately, this significantly impacted our rest and overall comfort. We really liked how convenient the property was. The hotel is within walking distance of many places in Manhattan, with plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and attractions nearby, which made our stay much easier and more enjoyable. The welcome was very warm, and the check-in process was quick and easy. The hotel also offers several thoughtful benefits, including grab-and-go items that you can pick up on your own and either charge to the room or pay through self-checkout. They had options like beer, bottled water, chips, premade food, bagels with cream cheese, coffee, and even a popcorn machine that operates during the day with free popcorn for guests. The bar was also well equipped, and we appreciated receiving a complimentary cocktail when we arrived. The rooms were very clean, and the staff was helpful throughout our stay. Lastly, the view from the room was spectacular. Overall, it was a very comfortable and convenient experience, and this hotel would definitely be an option for us again when we return to New York. The only issue was that the room description on Booking.com was a little confusing. Based on what I understood when I booked, I thought the room included a king-size bed, but when we arrived, the room had a full-size bed instead. That said, the bed was still comfortable, and the room worked well for two people. We did not feel that anything was missing during our stay. It may have been more of a platform description issue than something directly caused by the hotel, but the expectation was different from what we received. Overall, this did not ruin the experience, but clearer room descriptions would help guests avoid confusion when booking.

Hotel was great. Location is perfect for sightseeing, stuff was nice, maids were coming every morning. Rooms are a bit too small for more than 2 persons. We were 3 and we barely had any space for walking in the room when suitcases were on the floor. Also, beds are small.

We traveled in from out of town for a concert at MSG. The location if the hotel is perfect - right as you exit the Lincoln tunnel. Parking is a short walk around the block and only a 10 min walk to MSG. The front desk staff were super helpful with answering our questions about parking & gave us a drink voucher when there was a small wait while processing our payment. The added touches like chocolate when you check in, water in the lobby, and slippers in the room make this stay even better. The room was clean and updated. Overall, hotel and stay were 10/10! Will definitely be staying here in the future!

Great hotel, super clean, bigger than normal rooms for New York City. Enjoyed our stay.

So showed up at 3:40 and told room not available like dang I get it says 4pm check in but I've never been to a hotel where they actually enforced it like they do the 11am checkouts. I must've gotten the late checkout room cause it wasn't ready till 4:20 which gave me just enough time to make it to my 5pm panel. Uhhh there was one tiny little issue of a roach in the bathroom (maybe two but I'm gonna believe I failed to kill it) and I have to just think this is NYC but the possible second roach that I'm trying to convince myself was just invincible made me inclined to have to review cause those were some firsts for me. The front desk guy did the best he could but comping $10 off parking instead of having an actual nightly premium with the local parking garage is a choice.

The parking charge through Expedia was $60, which we paid, and then our itinerary said "Free Parking". But the parking was 2-3 blocks away, and when we went to get our car after 27 hours, the garage said we owed an additional $82. After asking for the parking manager, they reduced their 'extra' charge to $52. So the "free" part of "free parking" (after we had paid $60 to Expedia) cost $52. If we had booked through one of NYC's parking apps, we would have paid less and been able to park closer to the hotel!

Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options and generous portions. The common areas were very pleasant and inviting—especially the Jenga, which was a fun touch. The welcome cocktail was also quite nice! ?The staff were very accommodating—they kindly arranged a late checkout for us and even saved breakfast for later when we needed it, which we really appreciated. We had a room for three, which felt quite small. However, for New York, that’s pretty typical.

Had a wonderful stay at VOCO Times Square South. Loved the location and that it was close enough to walk to and from shows at night, had good subway connections and its vicinity to Penn Station was also wonderful. The room was bigger than expected, had an entire wall of windows that let a lot of light in and was comfortable. I was surprised at how much noise came into the hotel from the street at night. I've stayed in many different locations in NYC and this was probably the loudest. The actual hotel was quiet at night, but the street noise woke me up more often than expected.

We reserved the Voco Times Square to enjoy the spring break March 19-22. Everything was good and pretty normal to expect of a hotel. The location is near almost all the tourist attractions. There’s a good store called Essen, with hot bar and essential items. Very good to breakfast and dinner. The elevator is too busy, so you have to wait a bit to get down. And the bedroom is small. But nothing to to worry about.

I have literally nothing negative to say. It was a 10/10 stay.

Great staff, clean rooms, and an excellent location close to almost everything a visitor could want. One major plus is that the windows open about 10–12 cm, which is great for getting fresh air—something not common in many Manhattan hotels.

My husband and I stayed at the Voco for 3 nights to attend 2 Jersey Devils games. So location to Penn Station was important to us. We knew we would be getting back late 2 nights, so we wanted to be sonewhere we could walk safely back to from Penn Station at 11 pm or later that was clean and a reasonable price. The reviews indicated we would get all of the above. What the reviews did not tell us was how wonderful the staff is. This is by far the best staff I have ever encountered in a larger city. They treated us wonderfully from the checkin to when they put our luggage in the taxi. I don't plan to ever use a different hotel in NYC. A special shout out to Marina who assisted me when I checked in with finding a place to work on repairing my jersey, Michael who assisted us with an issue we had with the room ( that was caused by the negligence of the room above and was taken care of by the hotel), and Johan who helped us book our taxi to the airport. There were several others that also demonstrated great customer service, but I didn't get their names. The only critique I have is there is very little storage in the room, but the rooms are extremely clean and quiet . Overall , it's a great place to stay for the money.

The staff at this location was amazing. So friendly and accommodating. As a solo female traveler I felt safe and comfortable. The hotel was a little rough around the edges, but impeccably clean. I loved the local toiletries. The bed was pretty soft

The hotel was very accommodating to my party of seven. The rooms were not as spacious but the beds were comfortable. The walk was convenient to time square.

Great stay for my first time in NYC. Convenient location, friendly staff, clean rooms. Free “welcome drink” on your first night of your stay which was kind. They had a spacious comfy lounge/ seating area that I was able to out in before my trip back to the airport which was very convenient. They also held my bags after checkout so I didn’t have to lug them around the city on my last day. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

This hotel was very quaint and convenient to our points of interest near Times Square. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating at all times (Michael at the front desk was the best!). Our accomodations were clean, cozy, and met my sleeping needs greatly. The hotel lobby, free popcorn, terrace and convenient marketplace was also great; I will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future.

Staff is outstanding. Great value for the stay not only for the room but the bar/food. Excellent location. Shower is a hand held clipped to a bar that you can adjust in height. Beds and pillows were comfy. Room was quiet from adjacent rooms and clean but needed a little work (loud HVAC unit, lights out) but this did not impact my stay or impression of the property. Would 100% stay here again.

I would stay here 100 more times. Check in was seamless, got a free drink at the bar, room was clean and rather spacious for a New York hotel room. Lovely lounge area off the lobby was great to get some work done before heading to the airport. 5 stars.

Rooms are small but well designed, staff was courteous and friendly, great location…BUT…it’s noisy! Despite requesting a high floor we were put on the 6th floor and could hear everything happening outside all night. Sirens, blaring horns, bickering construction workers, we slept poorly and the only way we’d stay here again is if we were guaranteed a much higher floor. Better windows would also help. Our rooms were booked over two months in advance and at that time we requested a high floor and early check in and both were ignored.

Room was spotless super well cleaned and cared for . Really nice touch with a popcorn machine and some drinks in the lobby also comp drink the first day of arrival. Concierge guy helping with luggage and storage was fantastic couldn’t do enough for you. Really happy with the staff. Just a note to say it’s quite far from Times Square . Fine for us as we wanted to be further away but for anyone wanting to be close the hotel is at least 6 streets / blocks away. Excellent location for Madison square gardens , penn station , empire state etc . Very easy to get around.

This property pays attention to details. The amenities were nice and seeing a new pair of cozy slippers by the bed made me feel all warm inside. The keurig coffee is a nice touch and so are the hair products and body wash in the shower…smelled so good! McDonald’s and Taco Bell are literally a block away if you’re craving fast food and there is a Burgerology across the street. Convenient location and they even have a car service concierge for any kind of museum or theater excursion! I’ll definitely be back.

Clean. The tv was not connecting to our phones which was frustrating. Other than that, great service from the hotel staff and it was a pleasant stay.

Great location in midtown, 5 min walk from Amtrak station and walking distance to Times Square and Broadway. Room was modern, comfortable and spotless. Amenities are great with nice seating areas, books, game boards and complimentary pop corn and hot chocolate! Associates were all friendly and attentive - very professional. Thank you for the complimentary birthday cake! Will stay at voco again for our next trip to NYC.

The location was absolutely perfect for a quick weekend trip to the city.
- 2/5
Lots of hidden fees. I paid the resort fee thru Expedia which was 50$ then I had to pay for “amenities” fee again in person which was 25 dollars. The staff lack of community with each other because I got there at 3am which meant someone had to check me in from before and I called and spoke to someone and they said I was all checked in. Then when I arrived at the hotel at 3am, the lady was saying she can’t find my name and I’m not checked in. I tried telling her I spoke to someone but she wasn’t ready to listen. The rooms were nice and clean but I paid way more money than i expected to pay. Will definitely not be coming back
- 4/5
what I really enjoyed was the great front desk and bartender. I do think the location was top-tier and it was actually on a street behind the first hotel i booked my first time traveling to NYC four years ago, so I was familiar with the area. The only thing I didn’t like about the hotel was that the hallway was really small and the hotel room was really small and I booked a king size bed. That wasn’t a dealbreaker but I’m just putting that out there. I also didn’t like that the hotel rooms didn’t come with individual microwaves nor did it come with a mini fridge. the complimentary slippers were really uncomfortable as well. I do feel like those things should be mentioned before you book but overall I would give my stay a 9 out of 10. Would I book this hotel again? absolutely. Would it be my first three choices? no.
- 5/5
Everything was great. Beautiful hotel, spotless room with all amenities, primo location (an easy walk from Penn Station, on an out-of-the-way side street), and an extremely kind and welcoming front desk clerk (Marina). The hotel looks brand-new, and I understand that it’s only about 3 years old.
- 5/5
Amazing staff! The breakfast recommendation was on point!
- 3/5
It began with the incredible smell of marijuana that blasted us as we walked through the door. The front desk clerk just laughed when I commented. The entrance wasn't well planned out, so every time the doors open - you get the smoke and smells from right outside the door in the lobby. Not to mention, in the winter - it makes the lobby and bar area freezing each time the sliding doors open. You see many people sitting at the lobby bar with their coats on. We booked at "city view" room and were placed in a very mediocre room on the 21st floor - with a view of the side of a building. If this counts as "city view", this should be re-thought. This was absolutely a bummer for us. As compared to other Times Square area hotels we have stayed in, this one lacked nicer amenities like a Nespresso machine, robes and even a rug on the floor (its just a cold laminate floor). The decor is bland and there is little place to store clothing. No bureau - just a shelf and an area to hang. As I said, it's not that the Voco is bad - it's just very simply OK. If you are looking for a bargain and don't care about any frills - it's fine. We've stayed at the Archer several times and for a comparable rate, it's been a much nicer experience.

Great stay, staff was amazing….good location
- 5/5
Excellent service
- 4/5
My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here. The service was great and the bartender was very nice as well. Welcome drinks were definitely a plus. However there were a few things that could maybe deter you from this hotel. First off, we got a city view room, but the windows are pretty small. Smallest I’ve ever seen in a hotel advertising a city view room. The bathroom was also not the best. The counters in a two bed room should be bigger. There is not enough space to put all your things. Water would come out of the shower and soak the bathroom floor. Those things are the reason I didn’t give it a five star.
- 5/5
Location, friendly staff, clean hotel
- 2/5
The tv wasn’t working in the room the first night . I feel like we should have been accommodated for something . We had a 10 dollar credit for the restaurant but wasn’t able to use it due to touring and they basically didn’t care . Also there isn’t a microwave in sight and we needed one .

Excellent Staff, Clean spacious room
- 4/5
Beautiful property with excellent staff. Rooms were nice but small as expected in the city. We were offered some benefits when we checked in. The location wasn’t convenient for me and that is the only reason I wouldn’t stay again.
- 2/5
Lobby is very cold and the bar service is really bad. The elevator was not an option as it was always busy with cleaning carts and employees. Stairs were a better option. Rooms do not allow u to unpack, as there are no drawers or closets. We lived out of our bags. Bed was comfortable and heating was very good. The facility was kept clean and the staff were friendly. I have an issue with the rating.
- 3/5
Room was in good condition but on the smaller side! No refrigerator/ microwave in room. Staff was friendly. Overall my stay was decent.
- 3/5
However, the elevators were a big issue. For a 25–26 floor hotel, having only two elevators caused long waiting times, especially during breakfast hours. Breakfast was also crowded, with very limited seating and long waiting times. Overall, a good stay thanks to cleanliness and location, but elevator and breakfast organization need improvement.
- 5/5

We stayed here for proximity to the Javit Center for a conference and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were nicely furnished and the size of our room was great all things considered for NYC standards. The bathroom was decent, also nicely furnished but the shower door did very little to keep water in, there was a big puddle of water after every shower next to the toilet. The lighting in the bathroom was terrible for makeup users but otherwise the room was good. They do give you bottle water bottles you can refill downstairs which is a nice to have. Overall good room, stay and ideal location. I would recommend.

Hotel is in a great location and easily walkable with our luggage from our arrival to the Penn Station train station. Rooms were very clean, staff was wonderful and the free welcome drink at the bar was a nice touch! We didn't purchase breakfast from the hotel but we bought breakfast sandwiches and bagels from a local bagel shop, brought them back and there are plenty of tables to sit and eat.

Location! Location! Locaaaaation!! Hands down the *best* NYC hotel experience I’ve ever had! Guest services, bar tenders, house keeping.. all of them 100% professional, friendly and willing to go the extra step to make sure the guest is happy! Will only book here moving forward.
- 5/5
The room was clean and had everything that was needed. The staff from the doormen to the attendants at the desk were kind and helpful. Will definitely stay at this hotel again.

This is a great, walkable, option if you have an event at the Javits Center. The balance between a nice, stylish property and something that fits within a corporate budget makes it a good value!
- 5/5
The staff were courteous and accommodating. I loved that the concierge was available to help us arrange transportation, if we needed it! The rooms were spotless. We received a (delicious) free drink at the hotel bar on the evening of our check-in. It made for an incredibly enjoyable stay, no matter how short! We’ll definitely be back!

This hotel was perfect for myself and my 3 teenage daughters. We recently stayed at VOCO while visiting from Nova Scotia for a Concert. Check in was fast and easy, staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was beautiful and clean. We really enjoyed the outdoor seating space! The location was fabulous. Close to everything we wanted to do, but out of the way enough that it was more quiet than other hotels. My kids loved the free popcorn in the lobby and I enjoyed the free drink! : ) Convenient grab and go snacks/meals in the lobby was a great option as well. Also loved having a dining and bar option on site. We plan to visit New York again, and would definitely stay here again!

Very friendly staff. Great location. Enjoyed our stay.
- 4/5
Good overall, but extremely small rooms and elevators inadequate , requiring long waits
- 4/5
The lighting in the room was a bit off, but it was clean and comfortable, and I’d absolutely book another stay.
- 3/5
Elevator takes forever, very small rooms even for NYC. It was just ok. Nothing really to complain about. Close to MSG and Penn Station but a little run down area. If you need to be in this area, its a good hotel. If you are coming for vacation, stay on the Eastside closer to Lexington Ave.
- 5/5
Ok
- 5/5
Very much enjoyed our stay. Loved everything about our room and the area. The staff was amazing and everything was just fantastic.

Great place to stay in the city

As we were checking out, the manager comes and arrogantly and sleazily says "we usually don't offer baggage storage for free (that's nonsense, all other hotels do it), but we'll give it for free if you give us a 5 star review. And he hung around over my shoulder. That's an automatic down review for you.
- 5/5
INCREDIBLY Comfortable bed. Clean room. Sleek design, and to boot- it smells amazing. I plan to stay again.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing. Honestly just thought the mattresses are to soft
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
Close to Subway. Yvette and Johan were excellent at the front desk. Our room is very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Lobby and courtyard were very nice. The welcome drink at the bar was a nice touch.
- 5/5
Excelente servicio. Lo único es que deben modernizarlo.
- 5/5
Staff was very polite and helpful
- 4/5
Staff was great & friendly, our buddy Jesse (bartender) became our friend & the staff during breakfast were also veery kind to us. The two gentlemen at the front desk were also very friendly and accommodating.
- 5/5
Huge thanks to Jesse & Johan for all the great service !
- 4/5
Descent size of room. Clean and close to popular tourist spot. Quiet and nice staff.
- 5/5
The staff was extraordinary!
- 3/5
I stayed 2 nights. Work trip, really not demanding from Hotels other than not looking like is 1970 and quiet. Both nights, cars and trucks honking like there was no tomorrow at 4am. If you need a hotel and there's nothing else then is ok but I'll not go back there.
- 5/5
Very clean, staff friendly
- 5/5
Great staff. Extremely kind and pleasant staff at front desk and bar.
- 5/5
Wonderful staff
- 4/5
Location is good. Room was nice. Kind of expensive, but that’s New York for you.
- 5/5
Close to a lot of stuff. The area is ok. Walking around nearby on 10 ave at night not well lit which is unusual for NYC. Hotel is a good value. Nice and clean. Most of the staff is very nice.
- 5/5
We had the best stay here, and even decided to stay an extra night because everything was so comfortable, the location was just right, and the staff was so wonderful. Walkable to everything, including shopping on 5th Avenue, Central Park, Moma, restaurants, and of course Times Square. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, and we had a nice city view from the 23rd floor. Every staff member was exceptional, from front desk, to bar, to housekeeping. I've stayed in many places in NY and this is a good one for sure, especially for the price. Incredibly comfortable atmosphere and welcoming vibe, with an upscale feel.

Convenient location
- 1/5
This one of the worst Hotel experiences I have ever stayed in. We were Checking in with large suitcase for an our cruise and there was no porter available to help us. We booked 3 room and several of us had limited mobility issues. The front desk clerk was not willing to help us. He just pointed to a luggage cart in the lobby. We had to get our heavy suitcases up to our rooms ourselves. The next morning we went out for coffee and retired to find our we could not get back into our rooms and we got stuck in the elevator for 30 min. Them After we checked out we were waiting for our Uber in the lobby. I needed to use the restroom. It was Locked so I ask concierge to open the bathroom. She said I do not have a key. I asked her again can you get a key and open the bathroom. She looked at me like it was a big inconvenience to her. I asked again to get the key and open the locked bathroom in the lobby. Finally another staff member overheard me and unlocked the bathroom doors. Then when our uber arrived no staff member even offered to help with all our luggage. Never in all my years as a travel agent have I ever came across such an unprofessional hotel staff. I would never recommend this hotel to my clientele.
- 4/5
Room was a little small. Perfect location
- 4/5
Good location but not the cleanest spot in the city . Lots of shops nearby
- 5/5
Excellent accommodating staff. Close to things we wanted to see. Subway station close by. Free coffee in the room. Free drink first night. Would return.
- 3/5
It was underwhelming facilities-wise and the soap in the bathroom smelled like someone had poured fish oil into it. BUT the staff was exceptional - professional, helpful and efficient.
- 4/5
Very nice place within walking distance from Times Square
- 5/5
Ideal location. Clean and friendly
- 4/5
Great location on a fairly quiet street. Easy walk to well known sights. Decent sized room, fairly modern in style. Can recommend
- 5/5
This hotel was walking distance to so many restaurants and Times Square. We enjoyed our stay very much here especially the fact that for an old hotel the walls were not thin and for a light sleeper like myself i did not find myself awake due to any noise. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
A very comfortable place!
- 5/5
Best customer service I’ve had being here!
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable room, helpful and friendly staff, great location!

Great staff! Cortney particular- when checking in there was an irate oh no, it’s a bagel it was for Brooke
- 4/5
It is located in a convenient location.
- 4/5
Loved how close it was to places to eat, Times Square, Broadway , even Target!
- 5/5
Really enjoyed the flamingo closeness to shops. Very friendly staff. Very clean hotel
- 5/5
The room was clean and quiet. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The bar and lounge area were comfortable to hang out in. The breakfast was great. Everything Everything Everything was perfect! I highly recommend staying at the Voco Times Square
- 5/5
The bartenders name is Jesse and he is absolutely amazing!! We had such a blast just sitting at the bar!
- 3/5
Things went downhill from there. The room was adequate and clean but smelled moldy and I rushed out to buy air spray. Location: it’s been a few years since my last trip (pre-pandemic). Close to Penn Station which was extremely convenient. However, around the corner from the hotel, a fight broke out between two homeless guys. One shoved the other pushing him into a woman nearby who fell hard to the ground with the guy sprawled on top of her. Later on, same day (my stay was for one night) three homeless guys were in a heated argument and one threw a bottle which crashed at my feet as I was walking back towards the hotel (just a few feet from the hotel entrance). I wouldn’t recommend.
- 5/5
Stayed here two weekends in a row I loved it so much!
- 5/5
It is so nice! I love that there were free inclusions like a drink at the bar and slippers to take home! The staff is all super friendly as well!
- 5/5
Rooms were clean, staff were friendly and on point with everything!
- 5/5
Suprised that its near the vessel and Hudson Yards mall and near the Port Authority. Rooms are a bit small but expected in the city. Lots of food options.
- 5/5
Comfortable room, clean, staff friendly. Enjoyed the welcome drinks. Plenty of place's to eat and drink. Would definitely book again
- 5/5
Our first trip to NY, this hotel is in perfect location to get to Penn Station, and half way between everything we wanted to do up and down town and of course close to times square and broadway! We found the room to be small as expected but quiet and clean, perfect for what we were needing!
- 4/5
staff was very friendly and attentive! room was clean, view was ok, we struggled to order room service
- 3/5
Good
- 2/5
The rooms realy old and not clean at all
- 4/5
Nice modern hotel. The rooms are quite small and there are only two elevators for 25 floors and I was always standing in line waiting to go up or down. I needed to for that when coming and going. Ice machine is in the basement so it will take 15 to 20 minutes to go down on the elevator get the ice and come back up. Yet it is in a great location, very cute, very friendly staff and very clean in the rooms. Big bathrooms and very comfortable.
- 4/5
Very nice clean safe hotel. Updated modern rooms. Not the greatest area but central location good for doing touristy things like theater and dinning. I recommend highly.
- 5/5
Everything was great plus an early check in! Clean comfortable room! No problems!
- 5/5
This was a great find-- close to Times Square without being right in the press of after-show crowds. This is around the corner from Restaurant Row,and has an adorable bar/restaurant area. The staff was super friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
- 2/5
Added 30 dollars for amenity fees. Room was uncomfortable except the bed. Morning time was huge rush. We arrived before 12 midnight but were told that 10 dollar on dinner/meals etc. could be adjusted on next day meals. Overall, not such a great experience in comparison to similarly priced NY hotels
- 5/5
Room was very clean. Staff was very friendly. Convenient to Penn Station and midtown sights
- 5/5
The staff were fantastic, especially the friendly chatty reception staff. Michael and Fransisco were great guys.
- 5/5
Great location, reasonable price excellent staff
- 5/5
Staff was great. Very good restaurant around will stay again.
- 2/5
The room I stayed I was small, for two beds to be put inside… Absolutely no space
- 5/5
Hotel was in a great location
- 5/5
We really enjoying staying at Voco. The staff is very friendly and courteous, the rooms are always clean and the location is perfect. I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in NYC
- 5/5
The hotel was a great stay. It had an outdoor seating area and a game area. The bar area was nice as well.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing, took very good care of us. Marina was fantastic!
- 5/5
Great location and staff were always helpful, friendly, and available. So many great little nooks and lounging/eating spots on site. Staying on top floor (26) definitely helped with drowning out any city noise - down side: with only two elevators there could be a bit of a wait during busy morning rushes and stairs were once a last resort. Rooms feel smaller than online pics but well kept and comfortable for 4 adults. We did have to shuffle our suitcases around daily as there is minimal storage (hanging or drawers/shelves) available but it wasn’t a big deal to us, we knew we were paying for location and the modern touch. The windows were everything and made the smaller room feel open and bright. We got the city lights view and happy we did! Oh and late night food grab: the River food market on 34th is 24hrs - delicious sandwiches, etc.
- 5/5
Only downside was that there was nowhere to sit. We had 2 people in the room and only one chair so we had to sit on the bed, which I don't like doing.
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Elevator malfunctioned and needed to walk down more than 20 flights.
- 3/5
I had a great stay, the check- in process was great. The room was clean and close to everything that I needed. The price was affordable for the location as well. Only thing I will complain about is there was a weird smell, when the air turned off it smelled like a damp smell from the AC unit and the shower door was backwards it swung in instead of out. Also, the elevators were a downer. There was a few ppl complaining about the wait times and we had to stuff ourselves in there.
- 5/5
Great area. Walkability. Nice property. Good beds!
- 5/5
We loved our stay here. Both my parents got to experience New York to the fullest. We received excellent service especially from our bartender Sergio. Overall staff made us feel well taken care of, and made my parents’ birthday even more special.
- 5/5
Our standard room was modern and comfortable. I was surprised that it didnt have a small fridge at best. The shower stall leaked lots of water towards the floor. Nothing a couple used towels couldnt handle. I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Not bad
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Clean and enough good. Perfect location and safe
- 5/5
The bed was SUPER comfortable
- 5/5
Great location, 5 minute walk to Times Square .Happy Hour aperol spritz and complimentary cocktails upon arrival. Staff was very helpful and kind. Only 2 elevators and rooms are small but overall fantastic place to stay.
- 4/5
The phones were down, the Wi-Fi was down, mirror in the bedroom had streaks, the air conditioner had hair on it, which I found to be gross. The night stand outlets were not working, which I did not realize until the next day. Lastly the room had a table ironing board, yet no table, which made it extremely difficult to iron my dress for the theatre. I have traveled all across the world, Paris even had a regular sized ironing board. The Voco New York Times Square must do better.
- 4/5
Over all this was a very cute boutique hotel. My only true complaint is the elevator issue. There are only 2 and they are very small and take a long time to arrive. Area is great and it’s very quiet.
- 3/5
It is an okay hotel. There is nothing you wouldn’t expect for an average hotel in NYC!
- 4/5
The room was clean and comfortable. However I asked for extra towels 4 times and no one brought them. The elevators were slow at times. The bartender and front desk were very friendly.
- 4/5
Elevators are very small for the size of the hotel
- 3/5

- 5/5
Love it
- 5/5
Great stay! The room was a perfect size, I booked a king bed. Food service was great & same with the drinks definitely will be staying again! It’s very close to everything.
- 3/5
Room is small, nice bed and looks good. There’s no fridge though which is really annoying
- 5/5
the air condition was not working!
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
My stay at Voco Hotel NYC was amazing from start to finish! The staff were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The rooms were spotless, modern, and so comfortable, with beautiful city views. The location was perfect — close to great food, shopping, and transportation. I especially appreciated the small touches that made my stay feel special. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending Voco to friends and family!
- 5/5
Awesome location, quiet, and very clean. Great stay. Wish there was a fridge in the room though.
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
A perfect stay near Penn train station.
- 4/5
The shower was not very clean and the room didn’t have a microwave or small fridge. The staff was great. Concierge service awesome.
- 5/5
I would stay again but I did not like the area. Otherwise the hotel was amazing
- 3/5
But the parking needs to be specified. They don’t have their own parking. The rooms are really small and there’s not even a mini fridge in the rooms. The room description says Citi view but all I could see was the back of a building. I will not stay here again because it was overpriced for what’s offered. But I was treated very well by staff. Therefore I am ok with my stay.
- 5/5
Liked the property and staff. Plus the popcorn in the lobby. Would stay here again.
- 5/5
Hotel is near to many attractions! Hudson yards, trains & time square.
- 3/5
Also - very noisy area so you will want to have ear plugs. Especially with middle of the night trash pickup.
- 5/5
All guys on reception was very helpful and friendly. Perfect location, nice rooms with amazing view.
- 4/5
The only way I could do that was if you wanted me too I could
- 5/5
The customer service was fantastic. Close to Broadway shows. Great back patio to hangout. Room and bathroom clean. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Had a great stay here. Rooms are just big enough for one person to stay comfortably. Staff was so kind and accommodating. Only slight issue was slow elevators but as long as you leave your room 5 minutes before you normally would you should be able to get an elevator in time. Really pleased with this stay after going in pretty blind.
- 1/5
Room smells of cigarette smoke. Never stayed in a room this small anywhere in the world. No fridge in room.
- 1/5
I hated it
- 5/5
Pest control is needed in the rooms plz
- 2/5
Inside the lobby area was nice and had a very comfortable setting, but the elevators were very small very old and the hallways were quite dark and gloomy. The room was extremely small and very old. But we checked out of the hotel early because the surrounding area was full of homeless people drug addicts and a very unsafe area.
- 5/5
Wonderful place
- 5/5
The hotel lobby was very beautiful. The housekeeping staff were friendly and orderly. The front desk personnel were warm and helpful. Recommend staying at this wonderful property!
