I booked travellodge for 9 nights with breakfast. I was trasnferred to Ozone Park Inn and Suuites next door. They did not provide the continental breakfast which i paid for neither was I reimbursed. Most of all the place was dusty and nosuitable especially if someone is asthmatic. Terrible.
- 3/5
Better then what you would expect, decent location, free parking worked great for me.
- 5/5
Good place to stay close to air train for airport.
- 4/5
Clean quiet
- 5/5
The room was clean and the bathroom was clean.
- 5/5
Good experience in staying at Ozone park…it is near by JFK airport and helped us catching flight in early morning. The property is clean and good. Parking is full but able to manage on street parking. I would recommend to my friends and family.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 3/5
Okay place to stay for a couple of days, breakfast was basic nothing special but better than nothing, bagels, muffins, pastries and coffee, no orange juice or tea. Woman who checked us in was friendly and helpful, older gentleman at checkout wasn't very friendly at all. Had lots of mosquitoe bites after I checked out but guess you can't really help that, it looks very old inside so we also had a few ants in our room which must have gotten in through old cracks. Would stay again if I need a room for 1 or 3 nights nothing more.
- 3/5
The breakfast is included but it was missing a lot of items and there was a moldy orange I'm the fruit basket and muffins just crumbled to pieces, no drinks other than coffee was available, coffee machine was broken also, only small brewers that brew pretty weak coffee were available.
- 3/5
beds were comfortable.
- 3/5
The TVs didn't work properly in 2 of my rooms. No volume control, tough to navigate and had to unplug it to turn off.
- 1/5
We never got confirmation for reservations called the hotel and were told that they did not have a reservation now we are being charged for a hotel we never stayed at not happy at all with this experince
- 5/5
The breakfast is good. The hotel is Very close to the JFK Airpirt. The Room ia clean, recently updated and hás a good size. The hotel neiborhood seems a litlle unsafe.
- 3/5
Room was very clean, cleaning staff very nice. Inside building, hallway dirty. Breakfast very poor. Coffee is the same like in the room, only the individual packages, white bread and limited bagels. A few oranges. Only cream cheese available for be bread which also ran out. That's it. Went to 24 deli which was very cheap for my meals across the street.
- 3/5
Breakfast was very limited- the juice machines were down, only had bagels and toast. The ice machine for guests was out of order.
- 1/5
The hotel is filthy. There were hairs in the towels and on the bed. The floor was dirty and not swept. We switched rooms and yhey were all disgusting. We checked out at 8.30 because it was so horrible. The breakfast was just bread too. The pictures are misleading. Awful place.
- 4/5
The location was very good to stay one or two days for travelers who have a connections.
- 3/5
Checkin was fine but the property did not have the room that I signed up for in Expedia so I was disappointed. Also, parking was very limited in back
- 4/5
Cozy hotel. Minor problems were no protein at breakfast (advertised as full breakfast), the coffee urn was broken the last day & 2 of 3 ice machines were broken for our entire 9 day stay.
- 4/5
J Garcia went above and beyond on his customer service great check in and extremely helpful made it easy thank you Jose
- 3/5
Only recommend staying here if you get in late and leave early next morning.
- 4/5
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Good value for money Less good: No lock on bathroom Semi basement room straight onto street with no nets (or similar) on window so had to either keep curtain closed or accept people on street being able to see in Limited parking
- 4/5
Nicely located, friendly staff. Big, clean room. Breakfast too basic.
- 4/5
It was a nice area need more parking
- 5/5
Great front desk employee!
- 4/5
The location was just OK. The breakfast was extremely basic, to say the least. The rooms were satisfactory, but nothing more. It was just a place to spend the night, while waiting for a flight, but nothing fancy.
- 5/5
No eggs or bacon it had some cereal
- 4/5
My only issues were the bathroom door continously jamming and the tv remote didnt work.
- 5/5
Excellent choice if you are going to JFK. Room was nice, bed comfortable. The staff was very polite. Ramon was particularly helpful and professional. He went out of his way to help us.
- 3/5
Stay was OK, as much as you’d expect for this price in New York. The breakfast was very bland and honestly not that good. What astounded us was that such a big hotel could not provide us with a beer bottle opener! They provided us with a wine bottle opener instead (which didn’t work) and insisted we bring it to the front desk ASAP, since that was the only one they had.
- 4/5
The facilities were okay. The showerhead had great water pressure and we had a bathtub. The room itself wasn't that impressive. It definitely looked a bit old. The bed was comfortable enough. The pillows were amazing. Really enjoyed that. They offered breakfast but we didn't have a chance to try it out. They also were very kind enough to stow our luggage for us as we had a late night flight to Lisbon on the day of our check out. I really appreciated it. Around the area, there are various places to eat and a couple of small stores. The closest train station was about 10 minutes north walking so that wasn't too bad. The hotel is 10 minutes away from the airport if you drive or take an uber. Overall, if I had the opportunity to do this hotel again, I wouldn't mind it.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean room, not much breakfast varieties, not much parking after hours, had to drive around several times looking for parking. Overall the stay wasn't bad.
- 2/5
Was put in a room next to the elevator and heard the elevator going off all night also put by a back entrance where the door slammed all night not too comfortable to sleep in no extra accommodations were made
- 2/5
Not what I expected. Said they have parking but turned out it was the squeeze space behind the building; I had to park 2 blocks away. The whole night I was frightened out of my sleep by what sounded like gun shots, people shouting outside and shouting in the halls. In a room that sleeps 4 there were only towels for 2. The front desk staff was dressed casually in workout clothes and baseball cap. This was the worse experience ever and a complete waste of money. Never again!
- 2/5
This hotel needs major maintenance and updating. Room door lock was poor. Safety catch for door was missing. AC unit was extremely noisy. The description does not match the property. I would not recommend this hotel.
- 1/5
Close to jfk. Bad traffic. Walk to super market. Poor breakfast.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Overall, it was a good experience.
- 4/5
stay only one night was okay
- 5/5
We have stayed here twice in the past two months for a total of six nights and have had a great experience both times. The bus stop is basically across the street. The rooms are always clean. The staff are pleasant and helpful. This is where we will try to stay when we visit NYC.
- 5/5
It’s very close to the airport, has food options around it. The front desk lady was very friendly and polite. The check in process was smooth. The rooms were clean and seemed updated which was great. The room also had a mini fridge. It was perfect for our needs and our family!

Lots of double connecting rooms . Welcoming front desk ! No deposit just hold a card
- 5/5
It was what I was looking for with it being an by overnight trip. Clean room, nice bed and friendly customer service to greet me
- 3/5
The room was under ground level so people on the street could see right to my bed. The room was clean but there were lot of ants in the morning.
- 3/5
Pro: walking distance from many great restaurants and supply stores. Public transportation was very great. LaGuardia was only 20 mins away via Uber. Con: the hallways was dirty and smelled like cigarettes. The ice machine was down from the Friday we arrived to the Monday when we was leaving. House keeping only provide us with clean towels and that’s it. The room had a funky smell we had to get air freshener from the dollar store around the corner. The cheats and nail polish on it. Like I said we only stayed for 3 days so we made it work.
- 4/5
I really enjoyed my room although it was only one night. We were not disturbed. They staff was friendly and the room was so clean. It was the perfect place to stay for an early flight. I do recommend you bring you own food and beverages because the vending machine is pricey.
- 5/5
It was only for one night and just what we needed.
- 4/5
One bad review is about the breakfast. The have the basics coffee and bagels, but I wished they had few more options. Finally, a woman screaming “house keeping” at 9am it’s not what I was expecting for my vacation. I hope they change schedule or use a written method for those days when you want to wake up late.
- 5/5
The only parking available is on the curb. The amenities are good and check in was very smooth.
- 5/5
Would definitely recommend
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and helpful
- 5/5
The only bad thing was a car alarm sound at 6 am outside the building.
- 2/5
The hotel room was dirty when we checked in. I had to call the front desk and all they did was bring a broom. They gave me the wrong room. The tub and sink was clogged. And to make it even worse the room constantly smelled like cigarettes. I had to buy a plug in air freshener. I definitely do not recommend to stay here.
- 4/5
Very basic room, no safe
- 5/5
Fast and friendly
- 4/5
Nice and clean hotel with friendly staff, close to subway, ideal if you're visiting NYC and don't want to overspend on accomodation.
- 4/5
Very clean room and comfortable bed. Very friendly staff as well. Parking is very tight behind the building and small with better parking on the street.
- 4/5
Parking space are limited
- 4/5
It was satisfactory
- 5/5
Everything is great, the only problem is parking very limited
- 3/5
Breakfast was not continental
- 3/5
Room was comfortable and quiet, but hallway had “questionable” smell. The included breakfast was sparse. The rear parking alley was tight and can only accommodate a few cars, but we were able to park. Otherwise, would have to park on the street. Overall as expected for the location, and can’t expect more for that price.
- 3/5
The staff was great however I got a non-smoking room and my whole floor smelt like weed like someone was actively smoking all the time
- 4/5
Our hotel was easily accessible but parking was a pain. There are a few parking spots behind the location, but it is very limited and if you have a larger vehicle beware! I scraped the side of my van on a pole trying to pull into the actual parking. The staff that checked us in were RUDE! We ordered food and it came in multiple orders. We asked if we could have our drinks left at the front desk and they were irritated by this. My husband and I went to collect them and it had been delivered to the wrong room on our floor and those people took them (no big deal but still an inconvenience since we asked them to hold the stuff at the desk.) We got a king room with a jetted tub. The bed was nice and the room was clean, but the tub took FOREVER to fill. Almost a whole hour. Again, not a big deal but we were so exhausted and wanted to enjoy the tub that only one of us did so. Overall not the worst stay we have ever had, but I would not waste your money on an upgraded room. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean, so in the end that was all that mattered. Tub could stand to have a few updates as well, it was worn but not unclean. Again, overall not a terrible stay but not what we thought we were getting.

good👍
- 4/5
Quick, convenient close to JFK airport.
- 3/5
Nothing unique
- 5/5
Whenever I book a certain priced hotel stay, I usually realistically lower my expectations and adjust my attitude accordingly. With this hotel stay, I only needed a few hours of sleep during the day, before my next flight. I anticipated some form of challenges due to my early check in , however, after explaining what my needs are, to the clerk, he promptly checked for a room for me and went to personally check the room to make sure it was ready for a new guest. The check in protocols were seamless and I was offered a good parking spot in the parking located at the back of the building. I was in bed literally less than half hour after my arrival. The room was very clean and functional. There were lots of plug outlets and there was a microwave and a refrigerator. The room Decor was simple but effective. The temperature unit functioned very well, and the lighting in the room was adequate. The television channels were plentiful. The bathroom was very clean and was properly supplied with the usual amenities. The room was nice and comfortable and I slept very well because the environs were so quiet. The checkout process was also simple and effortless and the front desk staff was very pleasant and courteous. I will definitely stay at this property again. It totally served the purpose.
- 2/5
There was a ball of hair floating across the floor and a dirty, stinky sock in the corner of the room. It was beyond gross! The connecting door to another room would not lock and the shower head was broken. As soon as we turned on the shower, a hole in the shower head soaked myself and the floor.
- 5/5
Stayed for 3 nights it was awesome and comfortable clean And Fresh 🙌
- 4/5
Was ok , quiet. Older hotel. Smelled like marijuana throughout the hotel. But the room didn’t .
- 5/5
The lady at the front desk was very nice. She gave me tips on where to shop and eat. The place was very clean and close to the JFK airport.
- 5/5
The staff is very pleasant and the rooms are very cleaned I will stay again
- 4/5
Need some updates, noise abatement from other rooms
- 4/5
Clean, quiet, no bugs, friendly staff, room a little dark at night in the room - could use more room interior lights
- 5/5
My stay was 👍 great! Customer service was amazing from start to finish. All management names begin with R's. Razor Ray, etc. They are so welcoming and funny 😄. Cleaning crew did their jobs well. Thank you all!
- 4/5
rooms were clean beds were comfortable, but was not quiet even once you turn the fan on. They said they had a light affair for breakfast keyword being extra light.
- 5/5
The staff is super friendly. The room is clean and close to the airport.
- 5/5
We stayed 2 nights abd parked our car on the parking. We went the New York by Subway. It was very easy.
- 2/5
Staff was helpful but being handicapped this hotel does not have adequate parking or entry and no easy to navigate stairs to main reception area.
- 4/5
Check in was easy, Place was affordable and convenient. The room was clean. The staff were nice and polite.
- 4/5
The room was very nice and clean.
- 1/5
Breakfast was horrible no juice for non coffee drinkers, only awful muffins. No towels. Room 222 came in our room at 2 am thru suite connecting door. Just terrible stay
- 3/5
The bathroom was not clean
- 5/5
The customer service and room was outstanding. I'd definitely stay there again. Thanks guys.
- 3/5
They need more light
- 1/5
This hotel said free parking and breakfast included. When I arrived I was told that parking was on a first come first served basis and that breakfast was really just refreshments. To park I was told to look for a space on a city street, where there was little if any at the hour when I arrived. I left. Stay clear of this place is my advice!
- 4/5
Good hotel for it being a last minute booking. Guy at front counter took a minute to check us in, but overall good service.
- 5/5
Good service. It was nice that one of the staff came to our door to see if we needed anything. Microwave and fridge in the room is always a plus. Everything was great. We were hoping for a breakfast but there was not; it really was not a big deal for us though.
- 1/5
No food at breakfast and service from reception was totally awful
- 5/5
A 24 hours deli/fully stocked convenient store is right across the street. Avoid using taxis from JFK. I had an awful experience with one who tried to take a longer route, I was forced to try Uber for the first time and it worked out much better than dealing with the taxi driver mentality. It is a short trip from the airport, around 9 minutes taxis hate that. Less than $24 on their meter. They like run to Manhattan which is over $65. Hopefully the econolodge woll reintroduce an airport shuttle.
- 4/5
Very accommodating staff! About 10 min drive from the airport. Not super accessible by bus. A mile walk to downtown Howard Beach. Very mellow and close to a school. Feels very safe!
- 5/5
Staff and clean !!! Bravo :)
- 5/5
The bedding is super comfy. Room is very clean. It is so much better than the Millennium Hotel at the Broadway we stayed.
- 3/5
Ice machine didn’t work
- 5/5
It was very good stay great location
- 4/5
No real problems during my stay, sink was dirty sprinkled water and whatever particles were there got washed away. Shower head was leaking. Besides that I got what i paid for and not bad for the night. Close to JFK airport and it had different options for eating.
- 4/5
Good location, close to the airport
