The date is wrong I stayed here on Saturday and left Sunday and it was nice my room was comfortable I had a Microwave, a Fridge and a Desk, there was a swimming pool right next to me but no water it was fun

I think of the Travel Inn as a budget hotel. Not fancy but totally fine. The staff is very friendly and attentive to details. The fact that there is a garage on site is a huge plus as well. Recommended.

We have stayed here for years and have always been satisfied with our stay. This time how we the bathroom was not terribly clean and that was super disappointing. We didn't say anything to the front desk because we were already running late for a show. We will return and hopefully the cleaning will be up to par.

There is no individual remote for A/C and remote control of tv was working in 1ft distance. Even though we were happy cause of location/price rate.

We need it a place to sleep and this hotel did the job. I like that is in Manhattan although there is no subway station near by (you have to walk 10-15 min to the closest one) but it work perfect. Doesn’t have a place to eat but there is option near the hotel. Good service and clean, is updated but it did the job

Basic hotel. 2nd time staying here. Hotel is clean (most important to me). On the maintenance side, furniture is worn, shower door handle loose, etc. Minor details. I would stay again. Can't beat the price to be close to Times Square. Again, hotel is clean and in a great location.

Always pleased with the Travel Inn Hotel, The location on 42nd and 10th Is great for getting in and out of the city quickly. Inexpensive parking is available at the hotel which is very important to us. Able to leave car and walk or take a taxi. Have been coming for a number of years.

They are starting to update which is needed. Location is great. Walk to Time Square. Self parking and the don’t rush you out.

This is the second time we've stayed at the Travel Inn...the first time was location and price, this time, location, price, and knowing the great value and "amenities" we'd get for that price brought us back. You'd be hard pressed to find another place in Manhattan where you can park onsite (for a ridiculously low fee per night!!!) and be able to access your vehicle as needed. The Travel Inn is within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions; we traipsed our family all the way up to the Plaza (went through Times Square), back to the hotel, up to Rockefeller Center, down to the Empire State Building, and off to Grand Central Station for doughnuts the next morning. No problems. The neighborhood is safe, convenient, and great for families. The room itself was quite spacious and comfortable, though we did have a random back door that accessed a service hall. It ended up being quiet and a non issue. The in-room refrigerator was an added bonus. Though certainly not "high end" you simply cannot find a better value for your money!

The keys never works. The room was very hot. The bed size Full and old. At least for the price I paid we would have a queen mattress. We have to open the window that face the hall to have a comfortable temperature.

No complaints, staff was friendly, room was basic but very clean. Good location for us and liked that they had parking on-site. Had fridge and microwave and met our needs for our stay. Nothing fancy but was great price.

Had a very nice experience at the Travel Inn. The check in was easy and they allowed us to check into our room early. The room was spacious with lots of storage. The 3rd floor street facing room was a bit noisy. Large screen tv, microwave, and mini fridge were a great addition. The next door deli provided affordable breakfast. Close to the Javits Center and Theater District. The Travel Inn provided a comfortable stay at an affordable price. It was a much better experience than the trendy hotel across the street that charges a $40 resort fee (can't figure out what extras they provide) for a small room with no storage and strange glass enclosed bathroom. Offered early entrance to room for $30! The old fashioned Travel Inn gives you a warm welcome and free amenities plus an outdoor pool. Will definitely stay there again.

The entire place was clean. Staff was courteous. Our room faced the busy street, so there was some noise. But it's a big city and expected. Not a big deal.

We booked the standard double room with 2 double beds. The room is comfortable for 2 people but would be a tight fit for 4 people. Room is dated but is clean; bed is comfy and heater works well although can be a bit noisy with the heater fan on. The room fridge was big enough for our grocery and the microwave works well for hot drinks and simple meals. Only drinking glasses were provided so we recycled starbucks paper cups to make hot drinks with the microwave. No kettles or coffee maker in the room. Wifi is provided for a fee of USD6/day. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful with recommendations for places to eat. They also helped us arrange for airport shuttle pick-up at the hotel for USD44/pax. Since our flight was at night, we utilize the complimentary luggage storage to allow for last minute sight seeing before going back to the hotel to collect our luggage and wait for the shuttle.

Great that it was walking distance to Times Square and the theater district. Unfortunately, street noise (people yelling, cars honking, police sirens) were very disruptive until late into the night. A good place to stay if you have hearing loss.

I didn’t like how when I first arrived they didn’t have the double bed I initially requested, they needed up giving me a rollover bed at no charge but it was really uncomfortable. Also to my arrival the gentleman who helped us out at the front desk was short and rude. The area the hotel was located was ideal but not for the prize I paid.

Overall stay was okay to good. We decided to stay here because of parking and convenience to Time Square. The hotel property, lobby, elevator and hallways were clean, inviting, and smelled good. They did provide us with 2 fans, one did not work, but couldn't keep the curtains open for the window because there was a light shining into the room. The cable TV did not work and hotel personnel could not get it to work either. The caulk in the shower had mold and mildew stains. We did speak to management about this upon checkout. They were very accommodating and they did compensate us the parking charge.

My stay was business related. The Inn was efficient, clean, ample parking on site and accommodating. My booking was six months prior. I tried to reserve a room Sat thru Tuesday but Saturday was not available. That was disappointing but the outdoor pool was refreshing after a long standing day.

The house keeping staff were very professional and front desk was extremely helpful giving directions to get around town by subway, etc. I loved that there was a breakfast/lunch restaurant attached to the hotel. The food and staff there was excellent!! All around great experience! It was my 2nd time staying there and would definitely stay again. Only 5 minute walk to time square and 15 minute walk to Empire State Building.

I liked the location of the property, it was close enough to Times Square and the 42nd st Train station (about 10 minute walk). I didn't like that when I woke up in the morning I saw a bed bug crawling up one of the lamps! I was able to catch the thing, yes it was indeed a bed bug! The place looks presentable, but if you look closer though you will definitely see a lot of things are a bit outdated and needs renovation. Service was mostly ok, with the exception of one front desk guy that seemingly didn't want to be bothered with anything. I have to say though that this was the lowest priced hotel I could find during the peak June travel season that met my criteria (being presentable, near Times Square, and not having horrendous reviews).

This is a nice hotel. We had a pleasant and efficient check in and check out. It was wonderful to have our car safely parked while we toured NYC. It was a bit of a walk to Times Square, but we didn't mind seeing the city that way. The room was quiet and the beds and pillows were comfortable. It was a small room, but we were only there to shower and sleep so we didn't mind the lack of space. The bathroom did need some upgrading and a vent for the shower. Also, no breakfast or even coffee or tea for the guests.

It was a small room, but we were only there to shower and sleep so we didn't mind the lack of space. The bathroom did need some upgrading and a vent for the shower. Also, no breakfast or even coffee or tea for the guests.

Enjoyed our stay at Travel Inn. Room was a good size, clean & comfortable. Great location, easy walk to Times Square and bus stops. Made use of supermarket nearby and deli cafe in lobby.

I don’t understand why they charged to my credit card an extra payment without my permission. When I did my checkout the receptionist told me I don’t have to pay anything. This is terrible!

The hotel is in a wonderful location. It is an older hotel typical for NY. Our room was immaculately cleaned everyday. Staff was wonderful! Parking is a huge plus. Room size is big for Manhattan. Safe location and convenient to Times Square and subway. Would definitely stay here again. I’ve paid a lot more in Manhattan for a lot less. Great hotel!!!

Ideally located for business at Javits. Convenient to 42nd street activities. Some street noise, but all in all very good. Only two complaints - no free wifi. It's $5.95 a day if you want it. Also, no in room coffee. However, there is a refrigerator and microwave.

The room was quite spacious compared to other properties we have stayed in previously. The room was comfortable, clean and surprisingly quiet. There is a café in the property where you can buy breakfast which was lovely and very reasonable. I would have no hesitation booking this hotel in the future. Thankyou

Very easy to get to, just outside the Lincoln Tunnel. Parking at the hotel is a plus. We park the car then walk to Port Authority to go where we need to.

This hotel is within the Times Square area with a 8-10 min walk. The men at the front desk were more than helpful. They provided us with useful information and were genuinely kind and caring. The rooms were in great condition and very spacey. We will definitely be back!

The nice location of this hotel few steps from Time square to interpid museum to alot of things that you cant confused where to go, I liked the area. They have a special parking with fee of $20 a day. Tv was little bit difficult to use the remote control and the internet needs to improve the speed also. I liked it over all and give it 4 stars for the location and the parking.

The hotel is dated, but the rooms are larger than normal for NYC, clean, and comfortable. Parking right next door is a big plus, and the location is very convenient. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

The king bed was crisp and clean and very comfortable. Zero WiFi as well. Went to see a play, and when we got back they had put a fan in the room. Nice of them, but it was just blowing around 80+ degree heat. Slept only about an hour. Put a wet cloth around my neck and a wet towel on my torso. Not my worst stay in a hotel in my life, but pretty close. Will not return.

Hotel is fine and clean just needs a bit of updating here and there. Heard it’s been bought out and will be torn down soon so I guess it doesn’t matter either way. But a fine hotel for anyone on a budget who doesn’t mind staying off the beaten path a bit.

We loved the location and the staff was awesome the cons were the ac wasnt turned on april 15th too early in the season and also the pool was closed but we had no choice this is our massachusetts spring break and it was oddly hot this year and they. Did bring us a fan to helpus cool down

room was dirty! Outlet was broken. Room was NOT what I reserved. I was supposed to have a room with 2 beds and when I finally got my room it was a room with 1 full size bed! NOT big enough for a married couple. Certainly not for $--- for 1 night!

"Room Service" is from a diner down the street. If you press the RS button on the phone in the room, you are calling the diner to deliver. I was lucky I had cash on me. You can't charge it to the room and CC orders have to be specified while ordering.

Beware extremely small bathroom areas. After our first experience, I've requested rooms with larger bathrooms, and while they are larger than in our first room, they can't be called spacious.

Called for shower repair, never resolved issue for adjusting hot/cold temperatures, spent more time trying to get the right temperature than actual shower time; beds were not comfortable (coil springs) / hard...
