Location was good. The room was comfortable and a good size. Bathrooms were modern. The Elevator! There is only one elevator and it is extremely slow. Even for the doors to open and close was very slow. It was faster for me to walk the steps than wait for the elevator. The elevator needs to be updated. Also. Windows needed cleaning.

I was at first disappointed cos we were placed in a room with a broken AC and only portable AC was placed that couldnt cool the room with the warmth of the temp outside. My husband has to complain and was transferred the next day. Same front desk who i also ask a favor to have trash be collected since we didnt have our room clean, nothing was done that i came from work the next morning it was still there. Staff just need to be honest abt the room so customer doesnt need to expect of what is shown in the expedia nor their website whats in the room. Overall, it was still good. bfast is good. Location is great. Their offsite parking is great as it was we got good discount.

We ended up missing our show because the rooms were not ready on time. Parkinginformation -- the receptionist gave us directions to a parking lot that was not the one they worked with, so we ende up not being validated and had to pay full price. Comfort of the pull out bed: The mattress was so thin that you felt like you were lying on the just the metal springs. They were two different sizes in each room. Communication - the AC in our second room did not work. They did not inform us. They turned up with a portable ac that was also not working. Location of the rooms. 2 rooms on the booking, but we are placed one room on the ground floor and the other on the 7th floor. They told us it was because we had two different room types. When we proved that we had the same room types, they said it was because they had no more rooms in my room category. They promised to move us closer together the following day, but they never did. The toilet in 712 was not working and had to be plunged every time it was used. I ended up buying my own plunger so I didn't have to keep calling. They still did not move us. We extended one of the rooms for an additional night. They gave us one key for the room and told us we didn't get another key because we didn't put a credit card on the room. This was not told to us when we went to the desk to extend. Yet my card was charged by them. How did they charge my card if they didn't have it on file? I would only stay again because of the location and the kitchenette. No other reason...

The room was great and had a little kitchenette! It was a tad small, but it's NYC. The breakfast was great! It's close to everything you need as a tourist - Times Square, theaters, and subway! The only minor complaint is the slow elevator - it's cosmically slow - but using the stairs is not terrible. Great stay!

Great location in Timesquare, helpful staff, great nearby restaurant choices, compact but full kitchen, including 2 burner stove ( didn’t use) and dishwasher! Quiet, comfortable room, generous buffet. Only drawback, which is common...is one elevator to wait for.

Location I requested some items Kleenex I was advised someone would bring it up an hour later no one came. I tried to call down to the front desk. The phone didn’t work so I had to walk down to the front desk I advise that no one brought the clinic and my phone in the room didn’t work. They said sorry 20 minutes later someone brought the Kleenex. At checkout, I gave the front desk clerk my ticket for parking for it to be validated parking was 20 minutes away from the hotel once I got there it wasn’t validated so I had to walk back walk back to the parking deck and pay double my price because it was over my time frame. Once I advise the front desk clerk she advised me I should have caught her sooner! Customer service is horrible here and I will be leaving a review on Google and the website because I shouldn’t have to pay $103 for their mistake! The phone in the room was a safety hazard. It did not work if my cell phone was dead and I needed assistance I was unable. The price I pay for the room it’s ridiculous when I got motel 6 service! Everything documented! HORRIBLE STAY!! Audio

Location was amazing and staff were really accommodating, helpful and nice A single lift for the entire hotel. Literally took 5 minutes at times to be able to get to the lobby/room. The room design is extremely poor, with a tiny closet where only 2-3 clothes could be stored, and a large functional kitchen, which doesn't make sense for a hotel.

Other than the elevator being slow the hotel was in a great location for what we came for. Would stay again.

We also experienced issues with the air conditioning in the room. The room remained hot, and even after adjusting the temperature settings, it did not cool down immediately. It took several hours for the room temperature to become comfortable.

The bathroom door in our room didn’t close all the way neither did the shower door. The heater in the room didn’t work and when brought to the attention to the staff they said they would call maintenance to fix it but they never came

The staff was outstanding—especially Britney and Sebastian at the front desk. They delivered exceptional service and were consistently warm, friendly, and attentive. One evening, we had an unpleasant interaction with a front desk attendant who spoke to us rather rudely while explaining that we needed to use our room key to enter the hotel. It was the only aspect of our stay that detracted from an otherwise positive experience.

There was a portable ac unit taking up space with a vent into the window. It was 50 degrees outside, and cold air was coming through the vented window, and when asked if we could move to a different room, the woman at the front desk said she could send someone to remove the ac unit. When asked how long that would take, she said she wasn't sure. It was late at night when we checked in, and we were exhausted and didn't want to wait for a maintenance person; we just wanted to sleep. When I asked why the unit was still in the room, she replied that it was warmer yesterday. When I asked again if there were any other rooms available, she said they were all booked. We then checked on booking.com to see if there were rooms available for that same night. There were 5 of the exact same room price. We were too tired to complain, so we slept in a cold room. It is very disappointing to stay in a hotel chain that has little interest in making their guests feel comfortable. Also, the lack of insight to remove a portable ac unit with a tube out of a poorly sealed open widow when it's cold and raining is shocking and lazy business behavior, in my opinion.

The location was good to midtown Mahattan, walkable to all venues/theaters in the area. Secure entrance at night requiring use of the room key card to access the lobby. Fairly decent breakfast menu,, Monday morning had quiche as a choice, if you arrived early enough. Not much else to say. I booked a "king suite". The room was smaller than a standard room at most hotels, barely enough room to walk around. There was no safe, luggage stand, There was a full size kitchen, not much use other than the coffee maker. There was one elevator for both guests and staff, which was very sloooow. One trip included a maintainence man hauling 4 bags of garbage on board. Not pleasant to say the least.

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. The coffee is good. My one issue is I booked a king room with a courtyard at a premium price (for which I received an email confirmation at the time of booking) and I was given a small studio in its place. I had no warning, and only discovered the change after checking in and entering the room. I returned to the front desk to ask to be moved to the correct room, and I was told it had already been given to another customer. The front desk agent then told me that it was my responsibility to follow up with a call the hotel anytime I use a third-party like Hotels.com to book a room, otherwise the room could be given to someone else, even after the booking has been confirmed. I asked if I could have a room of equal or greater value instead of the downgrade I was given and was told there was nothing available. I then asked if they would refund the difference between the room I paid for and the room I was given and was told they would look into it. I called the hotel after returning home and sent emails to the contacts they provided when I called but still no refund has been issued. It was bad enough they gave my room away, but it’s incredibly frustrating that I paid almost twice as much as the substitute room was worth.

Excellent location. Staff very friendly. Room clean and had a small kitchenette. We’ve been in n hotels in 75 countries and never one with such a dysfunctional elevator. You pushed 4 and the elevator went to 7 even though no one was there. Then it passed 4 and went to basement. People would get in elevator and complain how it went up and down randomly. We stayed two days and dreaded using the elevator. When we arrived our room was 87 degrees because air conditioning didn’t work. Someone was supposed to check it out but they never came so we moved rooms.

I booked the work hotel Marriott location and the manager never returned the call or was available to authorize a refund. Also, the hotel is very sketchy. It looks moldy and smells. Location does not seem safe for a solo traveler and its dated.

Missed breakfast but the coffee/tea service was okay. Staff were competent and efficient. Room itself has seen better days (lamp shade was tattered and torn). Bring sleep mask and earplugs for a more restful night. Room was clean and kitchen was well equipped for a longer term stay. (We only stayed one night.)

Rooms are clean and includes cook tops, dish washers, microwaves and refrigerators for client who wish to make their own meals. Great place for a family stay. They do not have a restaurant and bar within the hotel. You can find those close by.

Very small lobby super crowded with people trying to check in. Check in wasn’t until 4pm - earlier check in would have made the trip better. Also, the rooms are very dark and need better lighting.

The location was conveniently located near a lot of food and attractions. It was also near subway access. The. Breakfast was nice. The staff was friendly. The room was much smaller than expected. The air conditioner stopped working in the 3rd night and it was 77 degrees in room. I called front desk and they informed me that maintenance had left for the night and they could offer me a fan. I understand there isn't much they can do if maintenance isn't available, but that didn't help me sleep any better in the hot room. It was fixed the next day. Also, on one day the cleaning staff left their cleaning products and the dirty rags on the table in our room and there were wads of hair laying in the floor right outside our room door. These were just a couple of things that fell below expectation.

Our room was on the lower level which smelled like sewage. Pipes in the halls not making it feel like a place you should be staying in. The room was ok except lighting was very poor and the outdoor area was dirty.

The proximity to Times Square and other attractions is excellent! The kitchen amenities in the room is so nice to have. We have dietary restrictions so being able to cook meals is essential. We could walk to all our shows in ten minutes or less. Bathrooms need a little updating and breakfast is basic.

Parking garage across street separated 40 day but still…breakfast was actually really good with multiple options.. the patio was amazing to have room made me stay a extra day… I’ve stayed at a lot hotels in nyc but this was the first time I cancelled party and dinner plans and have a staycation… and it’s affordable ‼️

The location was good if you want near Times Square, close by a subway stop and don’t mind the noise. Complimentary continental breakfast was adequate (since food otherwise is pretty expensive in the area). Staff was great - front desk, housekeeping, kitchen! We always like having a kitchen to prep healthier meals and snacks in between dining out. Gym was small but adequate equipment. Small property so no matter what room you are in you will likely hear the elevator or stairwell. Rooms are tight (but still prefer having kitchen space). There is a single elevator that is painfully slow.

I liked the corner room, and breakfast was great. Also, the location was great, a few minutes' walk to our play/theatre and the subway station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They always greeted us with a smile or even asked how our day was. How slow the elevator was. It made me feel like we were going to get stuck. Nothing personal, just my fear of getting stuck in the elevator. So I took the stairs most times.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They were very prompt in assisting us with any needs. (We requested extra blankets, they were delivered to our room within minutes. We had an issue with our TV remote, they were there to fix it within minutes) We enjoyed the free breakfast and would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The room was ok. The issue was the "noises". Not sure if it was the heater but there was a loud pounding sound the first night then scratching sounds the remaining nights. Also, the housekeeping hours were later than typical. 3:30ish. This is the time we were back in the room getting ready to go out for the evening. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

We have a king bed and a sofa bed in our room. The sofa bed is so incredibly uncomfortable that my daughter had to sleep with us in the bed. The room is spacious and clean. The hotel is in an excellent location. The breakfast is varied but with low quality products. The breakfast ladies are amazing ; they care and make sure you have what you need.

Yes the room was nice. But the elevator was incredibly slow, then broken. Getting downstairs took as much as 15 minutes. The stairs are bad. Rooms were cleaned very late and at inconvenient times. The hotel seems to nickel and dime guests for everything—even slightly early check in. Expensive for what it is.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, the location was perfect, breakfast was yummy, our only complaint was the elevator. It was sooooooo slow and their one only one for staff and guests to share so you would wait 10 minutes at times for it arrive and often stop at every floor to pick up staff members trying to get to the lower levels.

Everything was good ...good and friendly front desk......good and clean room..good house keeping.......only the last minutes was disappointing that the hotel taxi driver over charge me..and argued me for higher price....front desk told me to pay... $95 yet i paid 100 including $5 as a tip..for a good stay.....but driver argued me and forced ne to pay.....$105.....that was very disappointing....the entire stay was pleasant and end was spoiled

I called the hotel immediately to confirm, and the receptionist reassured me that the $40 rate would be honoured after validation. I trusted this, since two different employees told me the same thing. Unfortunately, when it came time to pay, the total came to $210 USD for three days, far higher than what I was repeatedly promised. This was extremely disappointing, especially because I specifically booked this hotel for the lower parking cost compared to nearby options. This was the worst hotel experience I have endured. The air conditioning in our room did not work, the phone did not work, and the “pull out” bed is laughable, I wouldn’t want my worst enemy to have to sleep on that. After two different technicians in our room the air conditioning did not work, I had asked for a box fan and never referred one. The next morning they said they “may” have to move us rooms and would move our stuff since we would be at a show. When we got back from the show I asked the front desk and they said they do move us, which is fine, but they weren’t clear and didn’t actually ever notify us. If they had been definitive about moving us, instead of a maybe. Secondly, the phone did not ring out. I told the front desk m, and the technician. When I went to the front the second morning and complained, the supervisor said she hadn’t been notified, though I had reached out to the front desk the night before, the technician, and Expedia. She front desk supervisor was beyond rude (Shailen). She provided no help, was condescending, and really ruined a part of our stay. I told her I never got the box fan and she said I should have notified them, I told her I had notified the front desk agent and the technician. I’m not sure if she expected me to go to storage and get it myself - but it was so hot, I probably would have. Terrible hotel, terrible supervisor. Always felt safe, staff extremely polite, very clean and modern room! The only thing I would change is the location of the chair bed. We had to crawl over the chair bed each night to use the restroom!

Tv didn’t work. Shower door wouldn’t stay closed unless wedged with towel. Otherwise, ok.

Loved this hotel. Everyone was super helpful, the included hot breakfast was different each day unlike other hotels we have stayed at. The one elevator was super slow, but stairs are easily accessible if you don’t want to wait. Will 100% stay here again

The a/c wasn’t working correctly. It was set to 69 and usually 74 and stuffy in the room. Jeremy- the front desk night clerk was very sympathetic to my problems and gave me a fan but unfortunately that didn’t help. The manager is trying to get me a discount through Expedia

I booked a weeklong stay so I wanted a place with the kitchen. It was great and there was a small couch in the room also. We went with a friend so the couch made it nice for the three of us to be able to get together in the same room in the evenings. The kitchen had all the amenities that we needed to make meals or snacks and keep leftovers from the restaurants cold. Great water, pressure, comfortable bags and we were on the second floor facing the street, but it was pretty quiet since it’s a side street from Times Square. I had heard negative reviews about that elevators being slow so I asked for a low floor. From the second story we were able to use the stairs. It was very convenient to run down for some coffee in the morning and then to grab breakfast. We did not eat in the breakfast area and pretty much made plates and took things back to the room to eat, but it seemed there were open tables that we wanted to stay. They were good hot and cold options and they did mix it up so that there were different choices every day. The staff was great. The location is amazing, just a few blocks from all the action of Time Square in Broadway, a subway station Hell’s kitchen and restaurant row. A couple doors down there was a comedy club and a target two blocks down and around the corner together supplies. One thing we did not discover until the end of our stay, was there as a rooftop patio that has a barbecue grill furniture for a rooftop happy hour. No laundry though.

We got moved to another hotel because the HVAC was not working

However, we stayed 5 nights, 4 days, our room was cleaned twice. We had to ask multiple times for towels. When asked why our room wasn’t cleaned, one of the staff members asked if we had the DNK sign up. I replied no and she was on it to get it cleaned and serviced. However, it took the cleaners 30 mins to get to our room, 2 mins before they left for the night. Staff were incredible!!!!!!!!!!! Even the night time Custer service gentleman who was absolutely the best at his job! Room not so much.

The staff were accommodating and parking was offered and we were in a good location to access the attractions. The food in the area was very good. The pizza we had was delicious from John’s pizzeria.

Great location. The staff was awesome and very welcoming. The breakfast was not very good. We ended up skipping it the second morning. The room was great for our needs all though tiny. It included everything you could think, including the full kitchenette. The shower was the most spacious part of the property and worth the cost of the room. Becareful of the sliding bathroom door. Poor handle and floor catch design left us getting trapped many times. We are looking forward to a return visit!

A hidden gem only minutes from Times Square. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and a pleasant breakfast make this a great choice for individuals or families. A short walk to most of the tourist attractions and plenty of wonderful restaurants nearby. If you enjoy the theatre then you have the added bonus of it being right in the centre of the theatre district. A great place to stay.

Our family loved this hotel. Close to Time Square but not to close. Tons of places to eat within a couple blocks. I must say the hotel employees were some of the nicest staff I have ever met. Always a “hello” and a “have a great day”. I would absolutely stay here again.

Had some temp issues but we were visiting on a super hot week so assume the AC was being overworked. Only one elevator and it is super slow as other reviews mentioned. We often used the stairs.

Our room had ants running around in the kitchen area. We reported to the front desk and requested to change room. They said they didn’t have a similar studio room and could only give us a smaller room without a sofa bed. We took it. The next morning, we kindly reminded the woman in the front desk that the room had ants problem and needed to be fixed. She started to accuse us for yelling at her and basically yelled at us for more than 10 minutes. And when we tried to get our luggage which were stored at the front desk, she started to lecture us how she find snack crumbs in the bed and we should not eat snacks in the bed. She was trying to hint that we caused the ant problem. It’s rude and unprofessional. We found the ants the next day right after we moved in, and the ants were coming from an interior corner around the kitchen. We did not cook anything in the kitchen. There were a lot of ants. It’s not around the bed. And the ants problem was not caused with in a day or two. Besides, we did not eat any snacks on bed. If she found crumbs, she needs to have the cleaning maids do a better job, because it must have left by the previous guest. As a matter of fact, we didn’t see any snack crumbs on bed ourselves. No apologies for giving us an ant infested room, no apologies for exchanging us to a smaller cheaper room. All the time she’s trying to deny that her hotel room has ants problems (We have videos and photos to show). Anyway, the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had.

This hotel was nice because it was located in very close to broadway, which is why I was in New York. However, the pictures are very misleading. The room was tiny. My party and I could barely walk around the room. The site made it sound like 3 people could fit in the room easily and pictures also suggested that it would be an easy fit; this was not the case. The hotel was also very hot. Our room never dropped blow 75 degrees and the halls were even hotter. On the plus side, the hotel was clean and the staff was welcoming.

This was a fabulous hotel - the staff were outstanding. location was excellent for Times Square and Broadway plays. The breakfast was a full buffet with great food choices. The subway was just down the street. The rooms were small but very clean and had a stove, refrigerator, microwave and dishes to use. Will definitely come back again!!

Tv did not work, no staff to fix it. I booked a suite with a sofa bed and now they can't accommodate a new room with a working tv. This is ridiculous. Booked two months in advance, never ever again. Very unhappy

Great place to stay. Very secure building, staff was friendly, and place was very clean. One thing that I did not like was the elevator. There was only one elevator for guests and it was very slow. You can be waiting a long time to catch the elevator if it stops on other floors.

The room was perfect for me, my husband, and toddler. There was a full kitchen and a breakfast buffet in the morning. Definitely a family choice!

The hotel is conveniently near Time Square. The studio had a kitchenette that was helpful for our stay. It also had a patio that was pretty big. If you need a ride to the airports ask the front desk to book a car service drop off for you. The price increases by $10 after 1pm fyi. My only complain is that the bathroom door slides side to side to open and close and when closing it, it stayed about an inch opened, so anyone walking by can see inside when youre taking a shower. The shower has glass doors so there was no way of avoiding that. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

I booked a king suite but on arrival I was not informed that a king was not available and I was given a queen. If i didnt realize it I would not have known. The staff gave a $50 refund on my stay but a king would have been more comfortable.

We parked at The parking situation was not very clear. I do not believe there are in-and-out parking privileges. The hotel attendant told me that I would get the validation upon checkout. We took out our car on day# 2 of our stay and paid $55 directly to the parking lot. When we checked out on day 3, we paid another $44 to the parking facility.

This has been our favorite place to stay in Nyc so far! Perfect location to easily walk to times square. Lots of food and shopping options all around the hotel area. Great staff, great security and great rooms, even has a small kitchen! Thank you for a great stay and for making our visit extra special while celebrating my daughters 18th Birthday!

the heat was not working in the first room. We were moved to a smaller room. And I have not received my adjustment on my bill for the inconvenience and the small tight room. I paid for a large size room with a king size bed and a full size sofa bed. Disappointed.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It had everything I needed and more! It's very clean, comfortable, very well maintained and even had a lot of supplies provided like glasses, mugs, etc. If you are a light sleeper, you do hear street noise and sirens a lot. But the location is one of the nice ones near Broadway! It's my first time staying at this hotel and I am glad I did. The breakfast area may be a bit small but they do serve a complimentary hot buffet!

Moved here from the New Yorker and appreciated the roominess of the suite, the quiet and the staff.

Front desk was really helpful and nice. They knew we were waiting for our room and was able to get us in 3 hours before check-in time.

This hotel is a gem in Times Square. Very helpful and friendly staff. So quiet even though it is so close to Times Square. The full breakfast was delicious and such a nice touch. Second time staying here and we will be back.

The staff is very friendly and they are always happy to help. They even gave us cookies on arrival which were delicious. The room was very clean and just like the pictures showed on the website. I would only suggest getting a better matress for the sofa bed as it can be a bit unconfortable after a few nights. The hotel provides breakfast which is a plus. They have different options and they change a few things every day. The breakfat area is quite small so I would reccomend having breakfast a bit earlier to avoid a lot of people at the same time in this area. Overall it was a great experience and I would stay here again.

Great location near all theaters and subway. Breakfast was great and never had to wait for table. One stop from train station with easy access. Beds were comfy. Rooms are small but we placed one large suitcase under sofa and the other near window. Only issue is elevators are ver slow....so request room on 2 or 3.

The room was compact but well laid out, had great amenities (kitchenette) and was very quiet (even with window open at night. Very quiet and appears to be new. Our basement level room was complete with kitchenette. HVAC worked very well and was quiet. Price also very reasonable for the location. We would go back in the future without hesitation.

We are a family of 3 and the Queen room with the pullout sofa worked just perfect. The room was small, but that is to be expected in NYC. Our room was very clean and the staff were wonderful. I asked for a fan for the room and they provided one. We were able to keep our bags in storage upon check out. Very close proximity to Broadway shows and all we wanted to experience in Times Square. We will definitely stay here again!

The sofa bed for my daughter was smaller than a twin size bed. The heat barely worked no matter what you set it too it was always several degrees cooler than temperature. The beds were hard. The staff was nice though and the area was convenient.

This property took £350.00 from my credit card before I even arrive . They are still to reply to me emails as nothing extra was used or damaged . I have read others this has happened to . I would not book here for the fear of having money taken without knowledge from your bank account after you return from holiday and seeing your statement ..STAY WELL CLEAR

Could hear door slamming from other guest as well as their conversations in the hallway. Could also hear the people next door opening their curtains using the chain pulley. It was very loud. Internal noise was very bad.

Our stay here was wonderful. The hotel itself is clean, modern, spacious, and safe. A key card was required to entire the hotel late at night which contributes to the safe hotel environment. The staff were quite personable as well, we felt welcomed and invited. Good breakfast. The hotel is a very close walk to Times Square and other subway lines. It is quite nosy at night with traffic sounds and sirens, but this is attributed to staying in Times Square of New York City!

All staff and accommodations were exceptional. Notice of a defective bathroom door was promptly addressed and fixed.

Elevator was broken the whole trip and the 4th floor stair door didn’t have a slow closure so we heard banging all night and all morning as it opened right to our room

In the 5 nights we were there we had our room serviced 1 time, the bathroom light was on a timer with no option to leave on. I showered in the dark daily. The elevator didn’t work the entire time we were there and it was “being serviced” daily. We had to lug our lug up and down the stairs with no assistance. Oh but there was coffee 24/7. This place is an embarrassment to Marriott.
