Everything was great. The room is a decent size and clean. Service was great. The lobby bar was also very nice. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Showers hot and great pressure. Nice lounge downstairs. Staff was all helpful and remember you. Small boutique hotel on an upscale and quiet street. Train station 3 blocks down or 3 blocks up. Laundry facility 3 blocks up. An abundance of food around. Nice touches like automated curtains, nightlight in the bathroom, a doorbell on the room, complimentary items. The only negative is the beds were too comfortable. I didn’t want to get up. There is a fridge in the room that could be colder.

What a lovely place! Amenities were excellent. The gym was perfect and had the equipments I need. Housekeeping was excellent. Location was perfect as it was a short walk to the subway and Central Park. You have restaurants within 1-2 blocks. Everything had a touch of elegance to it and yet feel cozy. It truly is a gem! Nothing!

I requested a high floor and two rooms like ng size close to each other for my family. I was diassapointed that these are on two different floors 510 and 610. This was a week long stay and they could have done better for us especially as this was our second stay at Wallace

Had an amazing stay here. The hotel was spotless from the moment we walked in, and smelled incredible. The staff was genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive during the entire stay. Convenient location. Lovely bar with live jazz singer Thursdays through Sundays. Excellent lighting in the rooms. Easy walk to public transportation. Well-equipped gym with two Peletons, treadmills, an elliptical, and a yoga area. Our only problems was a couple with a very vocal toddler next door to our room who was up every morning by 6:30 am.

Stopped at The Wallace for a night while visiting colleges with my daughter. It is a very nice and reasonably priced hotel in a great location on the Upper West Side. Easy walking distance to Central Park, the Natural History Museum and any number of restaurants. I would not hesitate to stay here again on a longer visit.

Our recent experience at The Wallace hotel was during our visit to see our daughter while she is in school. We searched for a place nearby her and The Wallace turned out to be an outstanding choice. The hotel impressed us with its cleanliness and the staff were consistently pleasant, making our stay even more enjoyable. The upgrades throughout the hotel gave it a modern and comfortable feel. The lounge was very comfortable, adding to the overall experience. It was truly a great place to stay, and we are returning the next time we visit.

The Wallace has an elevated clubby feel, rather than the stark or utilitarian feel of so many hotels today. The Wallace Lounge with its fireplace added to the warmth. My room (a King Suite) was lovely and made me feel like I lived in the City once again—rather than being just a tourist. The staff were very professional and friendly and made me feel welcome & part of the Wallace family.

We've stayed here six times now and every visit feels more like coming home than the last. The moment you walk in, it wraps around you - the piano music in the lobby, that distinct candle smell that's become synonymous with arriving, Nina Boesch art for sale. Everything about it is intentional. The rooms are simple and beautiful. They are clean, well-appointed, with the coziest beds. The staff are warm and genuinely kind in a way that feels rare these days. And while The Wallace is well known for being dog-friendly, it's just as wonderful for families. Our kids are always greeted like they belong there and they absolutely look forward to every stay. The Wallace is perfectly situated to make you feel like you actually live in the neighborhood. Steps from the 72nd Street subway, Central Park, and some of the best museums and restaurants the city has to offer. It doesn't just give you a place to sleep, it gives you a real home base for experiencing New York. We won't stay anywhere else. Hope nothing ever changes.

Clean and convenient location for our show at the Beacon Theatre. One star off for being able to hear guest conversations very clearly from outside our room. While the Wallace lounge was very presentable, the drinks and dessert were just ok. Would be nice for hotel guests to have priory seating in the lounge instead of having to wait or succumb to the bar. Overall, I would 100 percent recommend The Wallace and would probably stay here again if I’m visiting UWS again.

Every single person we interacted with—from the front desk to the valet to the doormen—was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help. They consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything about our stay was perfect. Even the departure experience was handled beautifully, with helpful staff and thoughtful service that made leaving just as smooth as arriving. The Wallace Hotel delivers a level of service, comfort, and attention to detail that is hard to find.

We stayed at the Wallace for my birthday and saw a show at the Beacon. Start to finish, the staff was literally falling over themselves to make sure that my birthday was commemorated. They upgraded our room without being asked, everywhere we went someone was wishing me a happy birthday, when we went into the bar, they gave us complementary glasses of Prosecco, and when we got to our room, there was a beautiful bottle of wine and a handwritten note wishing me a happy birthday. I could not recommend this hotel more.

Beautiful, clean, modern, boutique style hotel. Would absolutely stay there again if I wanted to be on the upper west side of Manhattan. Subway stop is about 4 blocks away and it's not in the "middle" of everything like some areas and hotels, but its NYC so its not like you're far from anything.

My wife joined me for 2 nights of a business trip and we stayed at The Wallace. The hotel is excellent. Very high-end. Friendly and attentive staff. Quick & easy access to express subway to Broadway shows and Times Square. Easy walk to Central Park. Highly recommend.

The bed was far too soft - mattress sunken in. Blood stains on the pillowcase. Otherwise beautiful location and nicely decorated.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. Location wise you are 4 blocks from the subway so very easy to get around. But the surrounding area feels a lot quieter than downtown whilst still retaining a buzz. You are only a few blocks from Central Park. The hotel doesn’t do breakfast but across the street is a Pain Le Quotidien where you can sit in or take away. Good food and nice atmosphere. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. 5 stars

The rooms are immaculate, the beds the most comfortable ever and the bathroom and shower impeccable. The rooms are looked after by top flight housekeepers, combining excellence and unobtrusiveness. As you drift past the bar in the early evening, past the mellow jazz, the clink of glasses and the hubbub of conversation the experience feels it has been designed to make you a part of it to whichever extent you choose. A modern hotel, with all the related conveniences, in a quiet residential neighborhood within walking distance of restaurants, world-class museums and other POIs, and subways. There’s practically nothing not to like about this property.

This is an excellent hotel in a perfect upper west side location. I travel to NY often and have tried many hotels in this area and The Wallace is at the top of my list in all categories

This hotel is small but fabulous. The rooms feel luxurious without being over the top, the restaurant bar is fancy but not stuffy, and the staff were all friendly, courteous, and warm. Bathrooms were very clean and the bed was quite comfortable.

This ins great hotel to stay in when in NY. Located on 76th upper west side it’s it’s quite and easy to get to. Great for visiting Columbia Uni or to stay away from the dreadful noisy, dirty, touristy mid two / Times Square.

Massive amount of exceptional food choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner, giving large flexibility. Staff were a joy!! Always smiling and happy to help. Plus the incredible free upgrade to a suite totally made our break. Limited noise, and easy access to the airports - this was a genuine gem in the chilled oasis that is the upper west side. Would return any time we go back to NYC!!

Just around the corner from the Beacon Theatre in a safe, fun area. The lounge has a well-equipped bar with friendly and knowledgeable bartenders. Will definitely stay there again when seeing a show. There a few minor shortcomings. My wife needs a couple of extra bath towels and my my requests for them had to be repeated each evening for the first half of our stay. Also, there is inadequate space on the bathroom sink area for toiletries. No room meal service.

Quiet solace on the upper west side. Love the live jazz. Rooms are large. Staff is excellent. Would be perfect for long term stay.

Fantastic hotel in a great location!

This place is absolutely stunning, such a gem in a beautiful neighborhood. The lobby is gorgeous & impeccably decorated. The staff are all very kind. The room was just as beautiful as the lobby. We truly felt so at home and comfortable. It was surprisingly spacious and SPOTLESS. It honestly looks brand new. My only complaints are very minor - the bed wasn't the most comfortable and as a very light sleeper myself I could hear everything. Love not having carpet in a hotel room but the downside is I could hear the people walking above me until about 3am, and heard the doors closing throughout the night. No rowdy guests or any noise issues with the location, but even gently closing the door causes a very loud click when the lock engages. Other than that 10/10.

We have been coming to New York 5 or 6 times a year for 20 years to visit out daughters and this is the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The staff went out of their way to be both friendly and helpful. The hotel was immaculate from the lobby to the elevators and especially our room.

The Wallace lived up to its billing. Staff is very amiable and responsive. My room, a larger one, was quiet, clean, comfortable, updated and attractive. Bed was comfortable. A good stay!

Fabulous boutique hotel in the heart of the bustling upper West Side. Intimate lounge wit live music W-Friday. Lovely large & quiet rooms with great beds!

Room was quiet and hotel was on a side street close to Broadway just a few blocks from central park. Lots of good restaurants and subway just a few blocks away which was what we were looking for

Stayed for two nights with two kids under 10. Beautiful hotel. Very quiet and clean. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Location is very close to Museum of Natural History and Central Park West.

Excellent!!! This hotel was fantastic!!! Great location in the Upper West Side. Room was fresh and large. Everything was automated including the shades. Shower was terrific offer both a rain shower and a standard shower head.

Fabulous. Could not be kinder, nicer, or more accommodating. This was an excellent location for Central Park and an easy walk to subway. We can’t wait to make this our New York home away from home!

Wonderful stay

Walkable to museums, Central Park and subway. Many shops and restaurants nearby and surprisingly quiet at night for NYC. Room was modern, clean and spacious. Nice surprise with complimentary water and snacks in the room upon arrival. The staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. Hotel lounge was cozy and inviting- very active at the cocktail hour. Hoping to stay again

We LOVED staying here! Spacious, clean, good shower, comfortable. Easy access to grocery, subway and plenty of other necessities. So happy with this choice.

Rooms were spacious and modern. Walk-in shower appreciated. Lounge had bar service and music some nights. Staff were very helpful. Maid service great. Nearby restaurants and breakfast. We will return!

Loved our stay

Great hotel.

This is a lovely hotel and the Lounge and its food were great. Staff also were pleasant and helpful. Like many boutique hotels, the rooms were not the most comfortable. Ours was spacious, but the pre-programmed lighting was a pain—you couldn’t have the bedside lights on without the ceiling light being on, too and you couldn’t have just one bedside light on without all three lights on. I found the bed a little too soft. for my back, but that’s just me. Only one chair in the room so if you’re grabbing a takeout breakfast, etc. someone has to lie on the bed while they eat. Over all, it’s a great location and we were happy to be there in spite of my nit picky complaints.

The professionalism the Excellence the warmth of the service and anticipation of our needs are real standouts. The jazz bar is just excellent at night as well

Quiet and good sized rooms in NYC. Limited options for food but great bar with exceptional cocktails and great ambience.
