Noisy AC, smelly rooms and uninterested front desk staff. Unfortunately not the greatest experience

Location is superb. Beds are comfy and I really liked the style of the hotel. Very modest breakfast, but it is complementary.

Perfect for a trip to the city. It's clean, close to the subway, and has plenty of food options nearby.

Asked for thermostat to be fixed as I was boiling. No one came. Huge hair clog in the shower left for me to deal with, literally the cleaning staff pulled the plug out and left it in the tub with a massive hair clump attached.

Front desk staffs are very nice,and helpful.

They went above and beyond lettuce. Check-in early also. We were totally exhausted from a marathon and couldn't even walk from 32 miles around Manhattan, and the front desk brought up our Pizza. When the pizza delivery guy wouldn't even do it.

The room was very cute. I liked how we could get snacks from the little eating area at any time. When I got back from a long day of walking, my keycard did not work, so I had to go back to the lobby to get my key to work again. The worker was very nice about it, but it was just a bit annoying.

A great Inn. Comfortable stay with clean room and bathroom. Good breakfast but vege option would greatly appreciated. TV is questionable. Still a nice time at the Inn.

The window is broken the room 406 ! The sheet in one bed was a mark i thing blood , the carpet really dirty!!!!!

Perfectly comfortable on a warm day in mid-April. Was on 3rd floor, and quite a bit of noise from nearby restaurants, but not too bad. Staff very helpful. Somewhat tired looking, but honestly very clean and perfectly comfortable.

It’s an excellent location for the Wall Street area. It is convenient too many things, including the subway. And the staff was extremely helpful.

I stay here when I have a need to go to Wall St. It is very convenient, old, but clean functional rooms. Modest breakfast provided. great parking right across the st.

The location is great if you have a Rent-A-Car, there is a parking garage right across the street. The hotel is very nice. Very quaint. I would recommend in most likely stay here again.

I had a comfortable stay at the Inn. Clean room, bathroom, great lighting in room. It offers breakfast which most hotels don't do. Though few upgrade might be needed, i love the Inn because of its treatment of guests...room nicely furnished. Like the 19th century vibe.

Great and quiet place!!

It was okay, property needs some upgrades, even with a vintage vibe. Phone and magnifying mirror barely holding on to the wall. Remote control to TV didn’t work. Both shower curtains are cloth, and outdated. For almost $700 was expecting more. Wouldn’t be my first choice next time

The room was cold. There was a lot of street noise in the night. When I opened my bedroom door to leave the hotel there was a drunk man lying on the floor in the hotel corridor.

Room was clean. No tv signal and the clock was not plugged in. I don't like that guest isn't given water at check in. Water is available in the lobby complimentary. You can also get water from the vending machine.

My room was nice. The Wall Street Inn is quaint but a little oudated. They should refurbish some of the furniture. I stayed for the location, location, location. 2 blocks from the subway. Lots of eating places all around and on the street. The staff was courteous. They should have more variety in the continental breakfast. The had chamomile and green tea and sometimes ran out of the pastries before the end of the breakfast time. My room was quiet and the bed was comfortable.

All was decent, including the price. Thank you!

Wonderful stay, the staff was really polite and helpful. I stayed there with my friend and we are planning to stay there for our future trips to NYC too.

Please fix the downstairs vending machine. It took our quarter and wouldn’t take our dollar bill. So we had to go find a nearby store to buy our snacks.

A very cost-effective place to stay in the FiDi. It's older, but still very charming. I would definitely stay here next time I need a place for a work trip.

The hotel charged me for two nights, and did NOT refund the extra night charge because we unfortunately arrived after midnight (no fault of our own, it was due to the many delays of our flight). The night desk attendant was helpful, the manager the next day was unapologetic and refused to refund the extra night charge, even though we barely spent 8 hrs at the hotel. Would NOT recommend.

This hotel has a lot of character and charm, as well as friendly service. Our room was very comfortable.

Great staff, building, and location

Perfect location for downtown Manhattan, the financial district and Brooklyn Bridge Parkrun. Hotel is a bit on the older side, but has a charm to it that the modern ones lack. Breakfast selection not great, but there are plenty of eateries in the area.

Safe, great location, very unique, and a great deal. Would stay there again. Close to subway, Lady Liberty, and Wall Street. Times Square was about 15 minutes on the subway.

3 blocks from where I started my new job. Convenient to work, restaurants and water.

Great hotel with breakfast. Great location, within short walking distances to multiple subway lines/stations to explore New York City. Short walk to the South Ferry Terminal to catch the Statue of Liberty ferry. Super close to a great bagel shop (Leo's Bagels) and only a short walk to many other shops and restaurants. Will stay here again when next visiting New York City.

I have stayed at this Inn twice and hope to do so again. It’s convenient for all points south Manhattan, it’s close to the subway and many excellent dining options, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the decor is so cozy/comfortable it would be easy to forget you’re in the middle of the city. I really enjoyed my two visits.

Room is too small but price is high

The hotel is not the newest and on the outdates side but it was clean and provided everything we needed. There is free breakfast but we did not end up taking advantage of it. There are a few bars in the nearby area that can be on the louder/busier side during the weekend. It didn't bother or affect us but just something to be aware of if you are looking for something particularly quiet.

Very nice Inn in Lower Manhattan! Staff and service were excellent. Really enjoyed the older look of the hotel. It was more like a B&B than one of the larger hotels. There are a bunch of bar’s and restaurants behind the building which are loud at night, but other than that it was a wonderful stay.

The hotel was clean and maintained. There is a lot of outside noise that you can hear from the inside of the hotel room. I was on the first floor.

Public transit is great around this area

Staff was very accommodating after I found a bed bug in my room and gave me a new room. Luckily, no further issues have arisen after the fact, though I did have to go and wash all of my belongings to be safe.

A classic. Old but well-maintained. My favorite place to stay in FiDi.

There was an open drain in my bathroom that smelled strongly of sewer all the time. I ended up closing the door to the bathroom to keep the smell in there while I slept and skipping my shower until I got home that evening to avoid the odor.

This historic hotel was conveniently located for my business needs. I hope to stay there again.

The people at the desk were nice. They extended me with no problem. The breakfast is weak, and the coffee watered down, but you're in NYC so there are a million places to eat. The location is fantastic, right behind Stone Street which is a very fun place with plenty to choose from for eating and drinking!!!

The property is very ornate with a lot of character. The staff was amazingly nice, professional and very helpful. The room is 5 star!!! Overall what a great place to stay....our first visit. We WILL be back.

I have stayed here many times. It is very convenient for Wall st. Rooms are very comfortable, not terribly fancy, but more than adequate for a business traveler.

We loved being in a quieter area to visit Manhattan. The hotel has great transit options to get uptown. From the hotel we walked to Brooklyn, Chinatown, Stone St., NYSE, the World Trade Center / 9-11 site; and we even walked to Greenwhich village. For us, the location was great. I appreciated the fact that the curtains really were blackout, that the other guests were quiet, and that we slept well and felt rested each day for all the walking. The breakfast was simple but perfect for starting off the day. We would recommend this hotel for its location, policies, price, cleanliness, and convenience. We got a valet parking permit for CityPark only a few minutes walk away so our car was safely parked all weekend for a reasonable free.

Bad smell. When I complained they promised me half off and never sent it. Gave me the run around and the front desk lady Ana was rude.

Great hotel - big rooms and a decent size bathroom. Only slight grumble was problem with lift on one day and the bath and basin plug mechanisms needed renewing.

Was able to check in early the staff was so friendly and accommodating. The area was quiet and easy to get an uber. We enjoyed our one night stay. We were able to store our luggage there while we went sight seeing before our trip to the airport.

It's charming, old world in a sea of paint-by-numbers hotels. And the woman at the front desk was a breeze, a delight, and a stunning beauty. All in all, my 20 hours here were fantastic.

The room was nice, as advertised, with a working fridge and thermostat. The air is loud, I actually wore earplugs to sleep! Both sink taps were set to hot, which was a bit odd for tooth brushing, but I let them know and they said they would get that fixed. The shower is good. Plenty of towels and bedding. You can’t really open the windows but with all the scaffolding that’s probably not safe at the moment. Speaking of, you can take the elevator to the roof and it’s an open construction site! Crazy. Breakfast is good, includes waffles, cereal, toast, pastries. Limited teas. Check out easy. Great location for buses and subways.

I liked that it was exactly as advertised. Clean, austere, very 1980s wall street. It was exactly what I needed after a hectic fundraiser ride and returning to the city for a quiet night before heading out for a day of adventure. The price was reasonable and fair.

The room had some bad smell and the window can't be opened to have fresh air. The outside of the hotel building is under renovation. The area is relatively quiet during night. Included breakfast had almost nothing.

I love the Wall Street Inn and I’ve stayed here before. The rooms are comfortable and have a homey feel. The carpets could use a good cleaning and some probably need to be replaced but the inn is a good option for those looking for convenience in the Lower Manhattan area.
