This place was perfect!! Great location, and the parking directly across the street was so convenient! Super close to lots of shows, Times Square, and subways. The staff was fantastic. They were accommodating, friendly, and helpful! Thanks for a great stay!
- 2/5
The biggest disappointment was the lack of concern from the staff regarding issues with our room. We requested a room change due to the problems we experienced, but no solution was offered, which made us feel that our concerns were not being taken seriously. The property also shows signs of needing maintenance and renovation. There are noticeable issues with paint, general upkeep, and attention to detail throughout the hotel. While the location and overall experience were decent, the condition of the facilities did not meet expectations. Overall, it was not a terrible stay, but the hotel has many opportunities to improve both its customer service and maintenance standards. With better attention to guests’ concerns and some investment in the property, the experience could be much better. The luggage guy was amazing. The best in the Hotel.

Location was in the middle of everything and near all the shows. Only minutes from times square & Central Park. The room stayed cold all night & day as we were there in June and it was humid outside. The king size suite was just the right size, very clean & the king bed area was huge with a pull out bed in a separate area. 2 TVs a plus with one in the separate living area. Outside noise wasn't too bad. You could hear sirens but i still slept good. Just wish there was a microwave or I would've rated it excellent all around. There wasn't a microwave. The refrigerator did not get cold. The staff at checkout weren't very friendly like the check in staff were when we arrived.
- 4/5
Very small room that had an awkward layout. But the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it is located in a convenient location.

Staff was super friendly ! Shoutout to Nilika at the front desk , so sweet and was able to upgrade our room! Shoutout to Josh as well, super friendly and helpful with bags! Will be coming back!
- 5/5
I had a redeye in to see show in the afternoon so I only stayed a few hours. The staff was outstanding! They suggested a late checkout and offered water and generally seemed to really care about me. I stored my luggage with the excellent valet team and they suggested a private car to the airport, which was also outstanding. Everything was thoughtful and seamless. I wish I could stay longer! What a phenomenal location and truly exceptional staff!
- 5/5
Huge plus too as there is wine and cheese everyday!!!

Excellent location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms. A little noisy outside with sirens in the city. Earplugs were helpful.

Great location, two blocks off Time Square. Rooms are small but adequate for sleeping. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Location was excellent close to a subway, hop on buses, theatres and Times Square. Beds were really comfy and staff were excellent.
- 3/5
If you want the Theater District, you can’t beat the location. The staff are excellent too. I wanted to love my room but it was on the 3rd floor facing a generator. All night (for two nights) it sounded like I was in an MR machine. The bed frame was beaten up, paint was chipped, the window really dirty. There were no drawers or a place other than the floor for my luggage. Perhaps other rooms are different but my experience wasn’t great

My favorite play to stay in midtown. I love the staff. They are friendly and helpful and the hotel is well run and well staffed. Mr. Garner

This hotel has the high standard you would expect from Hyatt. It’s very clean and nice hotel and it is very close to the Times Square if you are visiting for touristic reasons. In addition, the staff was extremely helpful and I appreciate all the help and coordination while I was checking in and checking out. Thank you.

The hotel is good. Great location for art, entertainment lovers. Furniture needs to be replaced. Breakfast is good. Service is very good too.

What really stood out was their positive attitude and willingness to help with anything I needed from recommendations around the city to making sure all my accommodations were perfect. Exceptional customer service like this deserves recognition. Can’t wait to be back again. Sincerely, Eric & Diana Linares

So much noise, blinds let light through, dusty room- for $300 a night you expect the basics

The location was good, easy to walk to most places and easy access to the subway and grand central. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a little worn and tired, one side of the bed had a dip, likely from people sitting on the edge. It made the bed very noisy on that from the springs.

Check in process was inconvenient and was located on the second floor. Hotel lay out is not very convenient for guests either and staff at check in were not very helpful. The room was not ready by the time we were supposed to check in. Hotel was very noisy at night and we got very little sleep due to the noise in the hallway.

It was near everything, right in Times Square Misleading- it says “double room” in the title but that does not mean 2 beds. It means, a bathroom and a bedroom. They upgraded us to a queeen when we got there, which I thought they meant 2 queen beds. When I went to ask them what had happened, that I purchased 2 beds, they said I did not and admitted that it was misleading. Anyways, the receptionist put us in a king bed the next night, whichch did help, but if I wld have been traveling with my sons, we am not sure how we cld have handled that! I was with my daughter though, so we made it work. The thing is, anywhere in NY you can find a double or queen room and it is a lot cheaper, then what they charge with you thinking that you are purchasing 2 beds! Double check your “double room” is my advice and print out your email.

I stay here often, staff is friendly, helpful and welcoming. Great location to theatre and shopping.
- 3/5
Classic ultra small NY rooms. But it was renovated and clean.
- 3/5
The staff was very kind, but this hotel was definitely several notches down from a regular Hyatt experience. When I went to check in, there was a man who was clearly trying to check in with a s*x worker at reception beside me. When I got to my room, my headboard was all scuffed up and had rips in the leather. And the shower had multiple issues -- it was too small to even shave my legs in, the water took a solid 5 min to heat up, and it every time I took a shower longer than a few min long it would flood the bathroom and I'd have to use multiple towels to sop up all the water.
- 4.5/5
Location! The staff were fantastic. The shower was freezing cold after a few minutes of warm water. No hot water no matter what we tried.

Wonderful stay! Very close to times square and all Broadway options. Walking distance. The staff was amazing and made us feel safe and comfortable. We were on a girls trip. I highly recommend staying. The facility and rooms are clean. Next door door a great tasting restaurant with exceptional crafted cocktails.
- 5/5
The only thing I didn’t like was at the TV isn’t a real TV it’s embedded in the mirror however the point of the hotel isn’t really to sit there and watch TV so didn’t matter overall, but just wanted to note. Staff was very friendly and very helpful and the rooms were very clean.

Great location to the theater district This hotel needs to be renovated, or deep cleaned or both , it’s pretty dated, it’s a “ Hyatt hotel” next to a Hyatt Regency, which is ironic because they are nothing alike . For 150 it’s a deal once you add the fees and nyc tax this hotel really shows it’s not a 4 star hotel

The room was falling apart. There was water stains on the window shades from the AC unit, ceiling was peeling , the headboard, and the footboard had peeling material. Floor had crumbs and paper when we first walked in. Elevator was super loud in our room . When the shower ran, the fire alarm went off. Crazy!

However, the room itself was very dark. The window faced another building so there was very little natural light and the lights in the room were also very dim which made the room feel quite gloomy. The bathroom lighting was particularly bad and it was difficult to do my makeup. My room wasn't cleaned very well on arrival. There was a piece of dental floss on the bathroom floor and a big dust ball on the floor of the bedroom. The shower handle was also broken so it was impossible to tell which way was hot and which was cold so figuring that out every morning was frustrating and time consuming. To be fair I did not raise these concerns with the hotel, had I done so some of these issues might have been resolved. It didn't seem worth the bother of awkward conversations since I was on my there for a long wkd

Cons: The standard King room was very small and didn't match the photos online. The photos were of the deluxe king. We did not spend much time in the room anyway, but if you do, there was barely any room to walk around in there. A few more shelves or flat surfaces to put stuff on would have been nice as well.

My daughter and I had a great stay at The Time. We were seeing a show at the theater just across the street and we had a few meals at the restaurant just downstairs. It was much nicer than some of the other hotels we've stayed at in Times Square. The decor was really interesting and we got a kick out of the wit of it. Everything was comfortable and pleasant and we enjoyed the free bottle of wine with our Expedia VIP package. Good value for the money.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Everyone was nice and accommodating. We were able to check in early and leave our luggage after we checked out. The only thing I was disappointed about was the cable machine in the gym facility. It was broken. The complimentary wine bottle was a nice touch, but there wasn’t a wine bottle opener in the room.

Staff all around is amazing! Super kind, caring and helpful. The restaurant and lounge serve delicious food and drinks. The rooms are very clean and neat.
- 4/5
The hotel is located in the heart of the Theater District and allowed us to walk to several shows. Wonderful and safe area to walk around and explore. Minutes from Times Square and Rockefeller Center.
- 5/5
Excellent service, central location in NYC in theater district close to Times Square. Room was small but typical of NYC hotels. Saw Chicago Musical at Ambassador Theater which was across the street from Hotel. Restaurant in hotel had full bar, breakfast and Italian food for lunch and dinner.
- 2/5
The new room wasn’t much better either…headboards peeling, sink cracked, curtains broken, and the AC was loud and barely worked half the time. Walls are paper thin so you hear everything from neighbors, and the WiFi is still painfully slow. Yeah, the location is good, but that’s literally the only thing going for it. For the price, this place is pretty unacceptable. Would not stay here again.
- 5/5
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and ready at check in. The bathroom sink did leak and the shower made most of the floor wet.
- 5/5
I think I have my found my new hotel for my work visits to New York. I really enjoyed my stay here and will be back. The rooms tend to be a little dark and small, as most New York hotel rooms are, but you're only there to sleep, right? The tv in the mirror is super cool and made getting easier in the morning easier since I could watch the news while getting ready. There is a fridge, but I really couldn't put anything in it. Often I can fit things around the mini-bar items, but not here. The free water in the lobby was great. I didn't take advantage of the free happy hour with wine and cheese as I had other obligations, but that was a nice touch too. Can't say enough about how great all of the staff were from Robert in housekeeping to the doormen and the concierge. All the best.
- 4/5
Great location. Easy to get to with convenient parking right across the street. Staff friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Plenty of room in clean Queen suite fo a decent price. Small elevators (which is not uncommon in NY boutique hotels) make for longer wait times. Free wine and cheese happy hour in the spacious yet quiet bar space provides for a relaxing time before venturing out into the city.

Great area. The hotel is not in the best condition. Furniture needs to be replaced. Rugs are old and stained. Rooms are tiny. The area is surprisingly quiet, we slept like rocks.
- 2.5/5
Great location Reception staff was disturbingly evasive at check in. Attempting the bait and switch on the room booked. There was an additional $40 hotel fee not totally made obvious on the reservation. A bit below the normal Hyatt standards in terms of sercovecand accommodations.
- 4/5
Staff were outgoing and helpful. Really did their best to accommodate early check ins and late check outs if possible. I really appreciate the umbrella in the room. The location is great and rooms are quiet.

Very lovely staff and very helpful when needing a couple of things to the room. They were also very helpful checking in and out. The bathroom was very clean and was just right for a girls trip where we spent most of the day outside the room. As girls who were getting ready in the room doing makeup, hair etc, the lighting in the room was very poor. It was dark most of the time due to the lighting in the room as well as barely any natural light from outside. The room was quite small for the price and not ideal for being in the room for longer periods of time, I would definitely get the king room instead if going on a girls trip where you may want some extra room.
- 4/5
I did not like the lack of musical or display(T.V.) devices.

Eric is the best concierge ever! He helped me plan an amazing weekend for my son's birthday. All other staff members were very friendly and helpful. Room was small but clean, check in very easy and friendly. Free waters were nice. Wish there was space in fridge for more than mini bar items, as we had medications needing refrigeration. Cleaning staff was super nice and efficient. Elevators could be slow. Fantastic location. Some street noise but definitely manageable for location.

The Time New York by JdV by Hyatt told me they would help me send a package up to my room, and then refused the package. I have proof from UPS tracking. This package was supposed to have my winter gear for NYC. I am extremely disappointed. The windows also sweat and ooze water into the room, while the alarm outside of the shower goes off without warning. I tried to call management to make it right before posting this review. I would not recommend this hotel

We had a very short trip to NYC and I’m so glad we chose to stay at The Time New York! The location is great and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I want to call out in particular Emilio, Anthony and Tonya (or Tanya, not sure) for their assistance. The rooms aren’t huge but for NYC I think the room size is fine. The bed was very comfy. If we get back to NYC I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at The Time New York again!

Enjoyed the cheese and wine one night and dinner one night at Serafina - and that was excellent. Room was a little tight, but the open "closet" helped it feel visually not as small, and it was nice to see everything hanging in it. Appreciated the umbrella, but we'd brought our own. Location was amazing, so close to Times Square, but quiet. We'll be back!

The room was rundown and, while I did not have concerns about cleanliness, everything was a little worse for wear. The room description said there would be a TV, but there was no TV. The bathroom light emitted a horrible, high-pitched sound when it was turned on. While we technically had a window, it was largely blocked by something mechanical, so we had no natural light. I never write reviews, but wanted to put others on notice given the discrepancy between what was advertised vs. what we experienced. We admittedly did not bring these concerns to the front desk (we just tried to spend as little time as possible in the room), so it's possible that they could have put us up in a nicer room; however, we figured there would be limited availability during the holidays.

Amazing hotel and great location near times square and Broadway theaters. Would definitely recommend staying here but understand Time Square is a street over so expect busy crowds.

We arrived at 1pm and the room wasn’t ready l. Understandable since check in is at 3. Andre at the front desk who checked us in said it was “guaranteed to be ready at 3. We came back at 3:50pm and the room was still not ready, and the front desk agent Nilika was very rude and unapologetic about it. Then she changed our room without advising us until we got to the room and found our things weren’t there. The rest of the staff I encountered were very unfriendly and not helpful at all. The rooms were dated and almost a bit run down. The tv offered minimal channels, no option to connect to streaming services either. The coffee machine in the room was available upon request and when I asked for one it arrived with a used old coffee pod inside it. And 2 DECAF coffee pods. The only other request I made was for some ice to be brought to the room and it arrived about 45 mins later. The only highlight would be Eric, the concierge. He was excellent and the only bright spot to our stay at this hotel.

Great location. Very close to many attractions and subway stops. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Bed was surprisingly comfortable. The room was on the smaller side but it is Manhattan so that is to be expected. It was tidy but not completely spotless. There was an incident where the steam from the shower set off the smoke detector but the staff called to check in immediately and shut the alarm off within 5 minutes.

Multiple broken outlets/switches in the room. The $80 “resort” fee which offers no amenities. The minibar was grossly overpriced. $12 for a tiny thing of candy or nuts. Certainly not a 4 star hotel. This was more of a 3 star average hotel without the “resort fee”.

Gorgeous Hotel! I never would have guessed as its tucked away, but it delighted me and my boyfriend. Very clean, kind and friendly staff, plus we had full control over the thermostat (huuuge plus for NYC winter where heat is A LOT all the time.) Again, the Scandinavian minimalist design was gorgeous. Had a pretty large room for a NYC hotel with a king bed. I would come back again!

The staff was able to accommodate a higher floor after making the request on our first day. Hotel staff was very accommodating, responsive, and room was clean. The TMPL gym amenity perk is very much a pro, and the best wine and cheese happy hour. The only opportunity I saw was the need for an upgrade on furnishings. I saw some wear and tear on bed frame and restroom tile

The bad: there wasn't a luggage rack, the bathroom was a bit dingy, the bathroom door squeaked which was annoying at night, the comforter had a tear in it and a stain, and the sheets smelled musty. The unacceptable: the heating unit didn't work consistently; in fact, it only gave us heat one time and otherwise it only put out cold air, so we kept it off most of the time, which made the room uncomfortably cold in November. We should have told the staff earlier, but we kept thinking when we got back to the room at night that it would work again, but it didn't. We gave them feedback on checkout because we didn't want others experiencing that, they were empathetic.

Had a lovely time with my cousin and we loved the location of the hotel!

The room was small and dingy, it needed renovating. The windows were dirty, hard to see out of. We should have been told that the large round mirror in the room was actually the TV, we found out by chance the night before we left, the staff should have told us. The location was really good.
- 5/5
I will visit again!!! Beautiful location and hotel. The staff was excellent.

Bien ubicada pero los cuartos tienen cosas que no funcionan bien como agua caliente, caja fuerte, teléfono….

The moment I walked into my room, there was a dead cockroach under a nightstand. I immediately went to the front desk and my room was changed. The only compensation I received was 2 drink cards that were $10 each ($20 total). I had fear of another cockroach or other bug infestation (bed bugs). The mattress was not comfortable. From the bedframe, bathroom and overall room, there was a lot of wear and tear. The grout in the bathroom was not cleaned well. The bathroom vent did not work which means mold can happen. The hotel needs a lot of updates. I felt I should have been compensated or got money off my stay. You also get charged to use the facilities even if you don't use them. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Staying at **The Time New York** was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond with their friendliness and helpfulness, making me feel welcome the moment I arrived. Every question was answered with genuine care, and it truly felt like they wanted my stay to be as comfortable as possible. The accommodations were stunning—modern, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail, from the room layout to the amenities, felt carefully thought out. It was the perfect balance of luxury and comfort. The onsite dining was another highlight. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the atmosphere made every meal feel like a special occasion without even leaving the hotel. Overall, The Time New York exceeded all expectations. Between the amazing staff, top-notch accommodations, and excellent dining, it’s a place I would happily return to again and again. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
It was a great hotel for first time New York City visitors!
- 5/5
Great staff, clean rooms
- 3/5
I stayed here for two nights in two rooms. One of the rooms smelled like smoke, and the hotel overall felt very small and cramped. The furniture was worn and torn, and although there have been some upgrades, it still feels like a work in progress. On the positive side, the beds were somewhat comfortable, but overall the experience was disappointing.
- 4/5
Very convenient, clean rooms.
- 5/5
I cant thank the staff enough for making our stay the best!
- 5/5
Everything was good staff super friendly and helpful went above and beyond only problem was that I didn’t extend my stay
- 5/5
I arrived early and they accommodated me no problems. Love the cheese and wine for happy hour. Hands down the staff I encountered were all 100% hospitable and more personable than I anticipated. Kudos to an awesome team!!!
- 4/5
-Great location for Time Square, Broadway shows, -Uber Pickups were easy( just had to go across the street due to some construction - Easy in/out of the premises -I liked the digital signs to signal staff for needing a room clean or “do not disturb” Dislikes: -when we arrived after check in, our room door was not closed so that was weird. I’ll chalk it up to staff not closing the door. However it made paranoid and me take the extra step of making sure the door was closed every time we left. - the room was quiet from city noise. However, we could hear seemingly any and all hallway noises through the door. Overall it was a great stay and I would probably stay there again to see if it was just my particular room that had those issues.
- 5/5
Great hotel in great location with friendly and attentive staff. Close to theaters, Times Square, subways, restaurants, Central Park, etc. Would stay here again for sure. Only small issue was there is no coffee maker in the room or lobby. You have to pay at the restaurant adjacent to the hotel.
- 4/5
Staff was very welcoming but room had some inconveniences our fan was not working even after calling someone if would smoke up the whole room, the safe didn’t work had to call someone in, someone left their dog barking morning and night in the room 2 door away from our room for $600 a night not worth it
- 4/5
Hotel needs a bit of a touch up but we were upgraded to a king room, got a bottle of wine, the room was cozy - bed was very comfortable and perfect for our stay. Location is great just on the outskirts of time square and all the action /subway systems. Staff was friendly no complaints
- 2/5
Location is the only thing amazing about this hotel. Avoid otherwise. Broken outlets and lamps, moldy window air conditioning, not a fan of the mirror tv
- 5/5
Fantastic property; calm and safe, beautiful hotel. Our room was amazing, and customer service was top notch.
- 2/5
Great location, 2 blocks away from Time Square. Walkable to many locations. The hotel itself was small and the room was okay. The large carpet in the room looks old and dirty. The bathroom was the worst part. As soon as I walked in the bathroom it smelled like urine. Perfume would not make it go away. I will never stay at this hotel again. Many coworkers warned me about this hotel, but I wanted to give it a try. There are many hotels in the area that are much nicer.
- 5/5
Close to everything. Enjoy!

Terrific staff!!
- 5/5
Serafina restaurant was excellent - Service was professional and friendly
- 4/5
Our room was pretty basic, but adequate for our needs. It was clean and the shower had excellent water pressure. The staff was friendly and helpful. This includes the front desk, the door crew, and housekeeping. The only thing I can point out is that the bottom shelf of the fridge had stains. Overall, our stay was restful and the location was perfect.
- 5/5
Unbeatable location, spacious room (which is really hard to find in NYC), very clean and tastefully decorated room. The bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Overall the hotel was good. The doormen were exceptionally nice and helpful. I did try steaming a piece of clothing with their iron while my daughter was drying her hair and the power went out in our room. We had to call maintenance to service room. This did create a problem with having our room cleaned because we could not press the button that lights up for housekeeping in the hallway. I do feel like when we would go to the front desk and ask for things from housekeeping it was as if it got lost somewhere between here and there. Also every time you call housekeeping you seem to have to leave a message vs. a person answering the line. I do wish it would at least roll over to front desk. The hotel is more than convenient to everything from Times Square, to theatre district to Hell’s Kitchen to just name a few. All were within walking distance as well as Empire State Building and Rockefeller Center. Also the subway stops were so convenient to hotel and there is a nearby CVS to pick up any needed items as well as Starbucks and Krispy Kreme for breakfast pickups. I would definitely stay at The Time New York again.

I stayed for one night with my fiancée and it was excellent! We arrived early because we booked a show at 2pm. Tanya checked us in quickly, held our luggage, and texted us when the room was ready! She made everything so quick and easy. The drinks at the lounge also were excellent. The manager Eric recommended the steak house across the street for dinner and made our reservation. You can tell this place
- 3/5
bed was comfortable. room wasn’t the cleanest. newly furnished not newly renovated. teeny tine bathroom. poor lighting

Be mindful of the check-in process where you take a separate and different elevator upon entering the lobby in order to get to check-in.
- 5/5
Very nice and helpful staff; convenient location; clean; nice bar and restaurant staff; good food;

Nice hotel in a Great location
- 2/5
I can only say 2 good things about this hotel, staff and sheets. Everything else is subpar. The room was dirty, severly stained window shade, dusty room, dirty floor and the entire room with bad paint jobs and outdated btoken headboard needs an update. I will not be staying again.
- 2/5
Unfortunately our AC unit in our room was not functional & did not sleep well the first night due to this. We got a portable AC put in our room, therefore needing the window somewhat open & to now listening to the crowd down below. Was not my favorite place I’ve stayed & don’t think I would again. The room was also not the cleanest where we had stains on our rug & some tables were quite dusty.
- 2/5

- 5/5
The location of the hotel is very central if you want to be near Broadway and Times Square. We were able to easily walk everywhere. The hotel staff was very nice and friendly. The rooms feel small, but when you are in NYC, you shouldn't stay in your room, you should get out and explore, which is what we did. We would definitely stay here again.
- 3/5
Affordable but run down, there are surely better options in the area.
- 5/5
Great location for broadway shows and sightseeing! Very comfortable bed and had everything we needed in a compact space, as expected in NYC.
- 3/5
The air conditioning does not work efficiently in every room. We asked to be moved but only worked after a day.
- 2/5
Tiny bathroom, spacious room but with inadequate light, shoddy dated furniture, no storage space. no coffee facilities in room. water from shower goes everywhere. it was nice once but run down and strange set-up that looks more like a dorm than a hotel. Serafina restaurant is really good and bed was comfortable.
- 3/5

- 5/5
Kind staff, comfortable beds, in the middle of Broadway theatres.

Excellent location in midtown. Great value (booked via Expedia package). Room fairly small, no room service available.
- 5/5
The stay was awesome!!! My wife and daughter had a great time.... the only thing that was missing is a microwave.... as they went out to eat and bring back left overs no where to heat them up... otherwise it was a great stay. Thank You.
- 3/5
Incredible location, and our bed and pillows were super comfortable, and staff is great. We were in the 3rd floor facing 49th, and the building next door is under construction and they were working until 2am every night with a massive amount of noise. I turned on my white noise app on my phone which helped a lot and we slept well despite it, but if you’re sensitive to noise while sleeping (banging, power tools, etc) beware. With my white noise app on hand I’d stay here again.
- 5/5
The staff was excellent
- 5/5
Such a wonderful stay with amazing guest services
- 5/5
The staff was extremely helpful. Location is convenient to Times Square. Room was small, but that's typical of NYC. Only minus I can think of is that the bathroom needs more or bigger shelf space and hooks. Also, there was no tub, not that it mattered to me. There's an amenity fee of $40, while as far as I can tell, the only "amenity" other than the free bottle of wine is a small exercise room. Lastly, there's a markup of about $100 if you want a room with two beds, which seems excessive, even for Manhattan.
- 3/5
room was great and the stay was comfortable. however, housekeeping walked into my room unannounced at 9 a.m (way before our late check out time) and an hour later, when I walked downstairs to grab my partner and I a bagel, the same woman was sitting outside our room and began asking when we were leaving. We felt very rushed but other than that, the stay was as comfortable as one could ask.
- 5/5
The location is terrific for attending events in the Theatre District. The hotel felt safe and the staff were great. The room was comfortable and the noise is to be expected, given the location. I did not realize their was a facility fee, and that was an unwelcome surprise. I feel like internet access should be included in the room fee, and that guests should have a choice whether to partake of the gym and wine/cheese hour.
- 4/5
Property had convenient location. TVs are weird. They are in a round mirror and the reflection and sound are bad. Bathroom could use some tile scrubbing. But staff was wonderful. Upgraded our room because the other had bad placement of tv and bad view
- 5/5
Perfect location near Times Square. Decent size room for NYC with a comfy bed. The view from my room wasn’t great but I wasn’t expecting one. Nice perk - free wine and cheese each night.
- 1/5
On my checkout, they even charged me to watch out my bags for a few hours.
- 5/5
Great location, very nice hotel. Perfect for what i needed
- 2/5
Bathroom is ridiculously small.
- 1/5
Our room smelled like eggs and each room was unkept
- 5/5
Very nice interior and staff
- 5/5
Loved the atmosphere of the hotel. The free wine & cheese each evening was a pleasant surprise. There was no coffee maker in my room or lobby, that I saw, that was the only flaw.
- 5/5
Hotel is great. Staff were excellent and even helped us out by calling the parking garage and sorting it out when they were full. Wine and cheese hour is a great service. Rooms are a good size, very quiet, modern. Only negative I saw was the wait for the elevators, but not much they could really do about it.
- 5/5
Great in all respects and advertised.
- 5/5
Staff was great. I would only recommend that they fix some of the things in the room like a lot of chipped paint.
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful
- 3/5
Convenient location but a little tired. The TV remote worked periodically and the A/C didn't work the last night and day that I was there.
- 2/5
its average nothing special.
- 4/5
Liked the stylish new room
- 5/5
Booked last minute after flying in from vacation in Paris, decided to see a show. Very cool hotel with great modern moody decor, customer service was impeccable and hotel conveniently located in theatre district for walking access to all theatres as well as a block off Times Square. Love the room and would highly recommend
- 3/5
Decent location if you want to be near Broadway and Times Square but is very busy in the surrounding area. Staff were friendly. Room was clean but very small. Fixtures and furnishings were worn, for example, headboard was peeling, sink and toilet both had cracks in them.
- 4/5
The room was very clean with bottled water and a minibar, if you want one. No coffee in room. This is right in the heart of Times Square, so area packed and noisy, as to be expected. But the room was quiet. This is a small hotel and I'm not sure what I thought "Hyatt" implied, but this not "Hyattesque" in my estimation.
- 5/5
Some of the areas could be updated a bit to make the room feel more modern. Furniture was a bit worn down and the bathroom had little space and no hooks for hanging towels.
- 5/5
Nice hotel great price.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
The Time New York was tucked away in a very busy part of Times Square but we never really heard any street noise. The Time had access to major lines of the subway and walking distance to lots of entertainment. We can’t wait to stay there again!
- 5/5
All accommodations were 5 Star
- 5/5
It was not perfect, but I appreciated the efforts. It was a pretty quiet street, good location.
- 5/5
The property was super unique and a vibe.
- 5/5
It was a great location. Right in the middle of everything. We were offered cheese andcwine upon arriving. In addition, we were given a bottle of wine! Thanks!
- 4/5
I only had a problem with my room coz they did not tell me that the notification button is not working. So everytime I asked for cleaning service no one came until my 4th day stay.

- 5/5
Greta decor and amazing staff. Needs some updating for wear and tear but overall spectacular time. And who doesn’t love free wine and cheese!
- 4/5
Good location, theater, District, lots of activity
- 4/5
The hotel was nice and pretty quiet, my bathroom had some hair from another guest that had shaved over the sink but other than that I would recommend the hotel!
- 5/5
Perfect accommodations, terrific staff, excellent food!
- 5/5
A good property. Safe and clean. Definitely coming back!
- 5/5
Perfect location, clean and comfortable
- 3/5
The wifi is pretty much non existence. They only let one device to be connected and it barely has signal so it’s useless. The property is old and worn out. They should revamp the hotel. The furniture in the room are worn out, the shower floor doesn’t feel clean. Only good thing about the hotel is the location.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing. Very helpful with recommendations for Broadway shows, ensured that I had everything that I needed at check-in and took the time to explain to me all of the amenities that the hotel offered. I look forward to booking and staying at The Time New York very soon. Thank you!
- 4/5
The location of the hotel is great if you wanna be close to a lot of things. We walked everywhere. The service and people at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, especially the doorman. The rooms are a bit dated and dark. There was daily room service, but not sure how clean things were.
- 4/5
Relatively quiet hotel easily accessible to Broadway shows. The room was clean, well-lit, with plenty of mirrors. Elevators did get busy in the morning with people either checking out or getting breakfast. We had a standard room and it was tiny. I would stay here again but get one of their larger rooms.
- 4/5
Perfect place to stay near it all! Walkable for shows, shopping and food! Completely safe. Staff was great.
- 5/5
Good for a first time visit very central.
- 5/5
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location was great for walking around but not super loud. The rooms were clean and a good size. And they have wine & cheese happy hour.
- 5/5
Great property and staff! Great location to Times Square and theatre district. Only negative is no coffee in room or hotel.
- 4/5
Would like a microwave in room. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was very clean
- 2/5
Overnight stay. The climate control was broken but we got back so late we decided to not bother with hotel maintenance. The room was uncomfortably warm that night. Besides that the room is very cramped. The restaurant on the bottom floor is not great. Just did not enjoy this place. Location was good for broadway.
