Reviews
The hotel is praised for its convenient location in SoHo and friendly, helpful staff. However, many guests complain about the small size of the rooms, noise from outside and inside the hotel, and cleanliness issues, including dirty sheets, mold, and bugs.

Charged too many fees. There’s a breathing fee, a walking fee, a fee to open the door. It’s ridiculous.
- 5/5
Good relatively inexpensive option in SoHo, with good location, clean room and friendly staff.

Superb

The Solita is in a wonderful location. Easy access to mulitple subway stations (Canal, Prince, Spring). The area is lively and has something for everyone. Chinatown and Little Italy are less than a five minute walk. If neither of those are your style, the trendy shops of Soho are five minutes in the other direction. The staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Breakfast treats in the morning as well as coffee to take with you to go as you start your day. Cookies when you return in the evening (don't take too many before you head back out for a wonderful meal). A great place for any jumping off point to explore the city.
- 5/5
Room was good for the price.
- 5/5
Just the place we needed to crash after exploring the city!
- 5/5
It was clean and ac worked great. A little short on storage in bathroom but we made do. Beds wrre extremely comfortable. Location excellent! Little italy and chinatown 1 block away
- 5/5
The location is very strategic for us as first-time visitors to New York. We came as a family, and we really enjoyed it. The staff is friendly and warm.
- 5/5
Close to everything Booking
- 5/5
Overall, this is an excellent value for the price. The location was superb for the places we were visiting this trip. Drawbacks include not having even a small fridge in the rooms, so we couldn't bring leftovers from our meals. The windows are paper thin so we could hear all the traffic and street noise at all hours.
- 0.5/5
They didn’t bring my deposit back
- 4/5
Location is excellent, proximity to Soho, Little Italy, Lower East Side. The property is a little old, the elevator slow, rooms could use some spritzing up, newer furniture, nicer toiletries... all in all fine and good for the price, but not exactly pampering.
- 4/5
Very comfy bed, good location, coffee and pastries in the morning The water in the shower was very hot, it was not possible to adjust the temperature

It’s a simple straightforward property. The location is not in the middle of everything hot, but it’s a few blocks away from From pretty much whatever you might want in Soho. The room is decent and it has a bathtub, which is hard to find these days. It’s not on an amazing block, but you’re talking about the middle of New York City here so you can’t be too picky. And of course, you don’t have to walk more than two blocks to get to some amazing places.

It was terrible. It was so noisy I was not able to sleep. The noise from outside was unbearable. The location is great but that is it. The hotel is expensive and does not even have real glasses to drink wine or water. There is no mini-fridge. The room was small. The staff was polite and did what they could. I will never go back to this hotel. The quality-price is awful.
- 3/5
Barebones hotel in a great location. It's very noisy so bring earplugs.

Love it! Only thing was trouble with draining water in shower

Very nice stay ! Location...
- 5/5
Great location, super clean & all the staff were so friendly! Loved our stay and would definitely return!
- 4/5
Very good
- 3/5
My biggest complaints are maintenance and cleanliness related. One of my pillowcases had noticeable staining and soiling, and the bedspread had a small stain. The shower curtain was cut off weirdly at the bottom making it difficult to keep in place. The bathtub had been poorly refinished. The bathroom mirror light was very dim and blue hued -which was odd. The bathroom didn’t seem to have an exhaust fan or ventilation either. The windows didn’t open at all, and since there was no ventilation in the bathroom when I took a shower the entire hotel room would get filled with steam. The staff were nice, no complaints there.
- 3/5
The room was very small and dirty and lacked outlets and was just very crammed
- 0.5/5
Nothing Dirty, but not in a normal way, dirty in a way I have never seen before! Body hair everywhere. It was disgusting! Dust everywhere. I asked on the first day to clean better but nothing changed! And we needed to stay there 1 whole week! Horrible experience.
- 5/5
The staff is the nicest and most helpful in the city. The rooms are clean. Ideal low cost option
- 4/5
Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Location is great and room is clean. Perfect for my solo trip.
- 5/5
The room was clean and bed was comfortable
- 1/5
No water at all first day, no hot water at all second day. Horrible room facing alley full of noisy machinery. Manager waived a $27 fee....thanks a lot.
- 5/5
Great area. Rooms are sized nicely for NYC, would come back
- 1/5
They need better tv
- 5/5
Friendly staff and a location close to fun neighborhoods. The room was clean and recently updated. Free coffee, afternoon cookies, and breakfast pastries. Easy luggage storage too.
- 1/5
Poor experience 1st day check in. Either bad timing or short staffing
- 4/5
The hotel is clean and comfortable.
- 3/5
The staff was helpful and friendly and the location good for me... I did not mind the small room (expected) a problem or the no frills hotel but there were just annoying minor design issues making it seem LOW end for a newer hotel,... The coffee breakfast snacks were served on a tiny table in the elevator vestibule with no area to even put something down . The lone elevator very small . The room only accessible outlet was behind the entry door or way under the desk. Tiny tub where just a shower would have been better ,,, Small things that made it feel like HUMAN use was an after thought
- 5/5
Good!
- 4/5
Cons: The sink handles were loose, there was a stain on the blanket, and little to no soundproofing in the room. I recommend you bring earplugs or headphones because slamming doors and cars outside can be heard all hours of the night. Given the price, I'd say you get what you pay for. I enjoyed my stay.
- 3/5
No hot water
- 5/5
It was so ideal and great. Would recommend to anyone staying in nyc
- 4/5
Clean and good. But small room
- 5/5
Room is a decent price in a great location. The staff are what make this place great. They are super friendly. The showers could stand to be updated and the elevator definitely needs to be replaced with two.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Simple but comfortable rooms. Clean. Dorm-like. No frills but much better since renovation last winter. A good value friendly option. Like all NYC hotels you may want to bring ear plugs
- 3/5
The rooms are on the smaller side and can feel tight for two people, especially if you’re traveling with multiple large suitcases, as storage space is limited. However, we were able to manage comfortably for our two-night stay. The room was clean, and the location was very convenient. Overall, it was a decent stay for the price point.
- 4/5
Great value hotel in extremely convenient spot. We all found the beds extremely hard. But a minor downside.
- 5/5
Everyone was great. Very helpful
- 3/5
Great location with exceptionally nice and helpful staff. Room was clean but not basic. Great choice for budget friendly stay
- 5/5
All good
- 4/5
Everything is good
- 5/5
Staff was the best part
- 3/5
The room was in good condition and the staff were very nice. However, the internet was very slow, and there was overnight construction noise next door—especially on Saturday night, which continued until the morning. My room did not have a “Do Not Disturb” tag, and the reception couldn’t provide one, so I received room service early on some mornings. Overall, it was a good stay, but the internet and noise were major issues.
- 5/5
It feels home there.
- 4/5
Staff very nice, very good hotel also for solo travelers, good spot in Soho
- 5/5
everything was amazing , will book again
- 3/5
Room was tiny, some days room wasn’t cleaned, elevator was down multiple times. Good location, clean, friendly staff
- 5/5
The staff at the Solita Soho Hotel were absolutely amazing. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. The rooms were efficient with a great size bathroom. A great location walkable to Chinatown and Little Italy and 5 minute walk to subway. Would definitely stay here again.
- 2/5
Very conveniently located and a great location. Service was meh- it felt perfunctory more than service-oriented. If I hadn't lived in NYC before, I'd think the hotel itself was unsafe. It felt like a guest house more than a hotel. The room was pretty much the bed and very little room to walk around it. (There was a little desk and a closet, but they weren't relevant to my 1 night stay). The door to the room was right by the foot of the bed and I could hear doors opening and closing. The TV was enormous for such a small room, and the remote was indecipherable so I didn't bother to watch anything. The bathroom was nice and the hot water incredible. Bed was comfortable. No view - just looked into the dark window well where there were 3 ventilation units. Heat worked well and the heating unit was not overly loud.
- 5/5
Nice clean hotel located in a great location.
- 4/5
Room was small as expected for a NYC hotel, but the staff were nice and helpful, and the location is great for convenient transit access to the city.
- 1/5
Upon arrival at the Solita SoHo Hotel in the middle of winter, I was assigned a room with a nonfunctional heating system that expelled cold air—an unacceptable condition under any reasonable standard of hospitality. Despite promptly notifying the front desk, management failed to remedy the issue, dispatching a technician unable to effectively communicate and ultimately offering no solution whatsoever. My subsequent attempt to address the matter with the front desk was met with dismissiveness, a lack of professionalism, and an absence of basic courtesy, including any apology or sense of urgency. Requests for a room transfer were summarily denied, leaving me with the clear impression that guest comfort was neither a priority nor a concern. As a result of this gross indifference and failure to provide habitable accommodations, I checked out within an hour of arrival.
- 3/5
The only elevator in hotel needed maintenance. Sign posted the night before that there would be no elevator service the next day. Staff could not provide any additional info about how to get up and down the 12 floors
- 5/5
Next to Little Italy and Chinatown, so food places are all around - from the cheap to the chique. Shopping is great not only with the (in)famous Canal Street justb2 minutes away, but also Lafayette and Broadway and the great area around Prince Street under 10 mins stroll. Hotelmrooms are huge for NYC (or any other major city). Two double beds, plus space to walk around them is unheard of in NYC ! Super friendly and helpful staff. Transport wise, if you don't want to walk, Canal Street is 2min walk and Grand Street is about 10 min walk. Whole area felt save regardless of whether it was 11pm or 6am. Will definitely be back to the Solita when I come to New York again. A true hidden gem.
- 2/5
Sheets were stained, bathtub was in terrible shape, mattress on top of heat/air unit.
- 5/5
My stay at this hotel was fabulous. We checked in late at night and the guy at the desk (Mr. D) was so kind. Check in experience was smooth. The room was spotless and had all basic necessities (excluding tooth brush and paste). In morning we had complimentary pastries and coffee. Bur since I got up late, I missed it! But the guy at desk was so kind, he arranged 2 cups of coffee especially for us. The rooms are a bit small, but for an overnight stay it was perfect. I'll 100% recommend it.
- 5/5
everything was perfect
- 3/5
Thr room was small for two twin bed. The room was cleaned nicely. The hotel personnel was very nice except the night personnel. He was rude and not helpful at all. The room keys always out of order everytime we came to the room. We had to change it two three times a day.
- 5/5
Second time staying here and would keep coming back! Staff is friendly and accommodating. Love the renovations as well!
- 5/5

Clean great location
- 3/5
The staff was very friendly. However, the windows are quite old, and you can hear all the traffic noise, even someone whistling on the street, even if you are on the 10th floor, as I was. The street noise is not only loud but also ongoing, with ambulances, firetrucks, police patrols, car honks, dogs, people partying nearly 24 hours a day, and construction noise from 5:30 am until 6-7 pm. If you plan to stay here, it might be helpful to bring earplugs, a sleeping aid, and something to soundproof the windows. Thank you for considering this information.
- 5/5
Clean room, great staff, and awesome location.
- 4/5
Staff was welcoming & helpful. Rooms are super clean.
- 4/5
The room was clean and spacious. The only issue I had was that the shower wouldn’t drain properly— I would be showering ankle deep in dirty bath water. Besides that, everything else was very nice and the staff was always kind. The hotel is located walking distance to Chinatown, great restaurants, and shopping areas. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable place in New York.
- 5/5
The rooms were small which is what I expected from the other reviews but it was clean and well kept. If you are ok with stiffer beds, this will work for you. This is just oersonal ltefernece and it means notning negative towards the establishment. Staff was extremely friendly and I loved the Starbucks and next door restaurant's discount! Would definitely stay here again. Parking isnt the best but we found a lot within walking distance and gor $60 for 24 hrs. So much in walking distance didnt move it until i checked out. Like the 12pm checkout as well.
- 4/5
The hotel is small and lacks amenities. However, its location is good in SoHo, with access to public transportation and proximity to shops and transportation. The room was small but clean, and the stay was comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.
- 5/5
OK. This hotel is TINY! We did 3 adults in a room. It was perfectly fine for us, but we were pretty good at traffic control. The staff was wonderful, helpful and friendly. The water pressure was amazing. Our room faced the street, which we liked, but the street noise was very loud. (Bring ear plugs). The price and location, comfortable bed was a perfect match for us.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean room, all around great location.
- 4/5
Check in was great. Staff was kind, great, walkable area. Loved the restaurant next door and coffee ($10 for a latte sheesh) across the street was good. Room was clean and spacious enough for just me. But when i moved to a double room, things went south. They put me on the street side; it was very very loud and i couldn’t get any sleep due to all the ruckus happening on the SoHo streets. When i expressed this to the front desk they just shrugged me off. I didn’t like that. But overall it’s good enough if you aren’t gonna be on your room a lot or you don’t need to sleep.
- 4/5
It would have been great if the room had a mini fridge to keep my things cold.
- 4/5
We truly enjoyed this hotel. We would have liked to have more accessible outlets and charging stations.
- 4/5
The rooms was a bit smaller then what we expected for a family of 4, but it served it purpose. The staff were so polite and helpful!
- 5/5
Very kind staff and the rooms were very clean. They are also very helpful with discounts for Starbucks and top places in the area if you show them your keycard.
- 2/5
Outside my window ! No sleep - wouldn’t change my room
- 5/5
- 5/5
It was a really nice room, clean and quit. The location is excellent
- 3/5
No frills, not even a mini fridge. When I asked the front desk attendant if I could get an ice bucket, he looked up from his phone, said “no,” and just kept scrolling.
- 5/5
Hotel Staff were excellent to deal with. Will definitely stay here again on future visits.
- 5/5
Will stay here anytime
- 5/5
Wonderful that they provide free coffee and pastries in the morning and tea and lemon water during the day. Just made anytime spent in the hotel nicer and more comfortable.
- 5/5
We stayed one night in Solita, this hotel is comfortable and ideally located in SoHo, I would recommend
- 5/5
Perfectly located for amazing food and superior shopping. Reasonable priced , for the quality of service.
- 5/5
Front desk service and friendliness A+
- 5/5
The location was excellent. Walkable to almost anything you might need. We easily walked to the West Village and to the Brooklyn Bridge. Unlimited shopping within mere blocks. Easy subway access. The room was indeed small but worked for 4 people.
- 5/5
Property was clean and the staff was helpful. Provided free coffee/pastries.
- 5/5
Friendly and helpful staff
- 5/5
It was very good. Rooms could be bigger but kind of expected in New York.
- 5/5
The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The property was close to the subway station, shopping, and dining. Great place that I will go back to when I’m in town.
- 5/5
2nd times. Front desk Ramon very friendly and knowledgeable. Love the location. Will be back again. Thank you
- 4/5
Friendly front desk, lots of restaurants in the area, very close to subway stations
- 5/5
This was a great property for a weekend stay. My husband and I enjoyed the cookies, lemonade and water provided. We didn't get to the coffee, but it's nice that they offer it. The service is excellent and they really want to make sure your stay is comfortable.
- 4/5
I liked my stay but the room was a little smaller than I expected. Wasn’t much of a view but the A/C worked well. The elevator wasn’t working on our first day it was broken due to an unexpected storm and we had to climb the stairs to the 11th floor with our carry ons
- 3/5
This is a very bare bines property but the location suited my purposes. It is overpriced dor what it is
- 5/5
Small hotel, small room but very convenient. Staff super friendly, helpful and welcoming. I like the most is cleanliness. Satisfy and highly recommend. Likely I will come back if I go to NYC. Thank you!
- 5/5
Great staff!
- 5/5
Hope to get cheaper rate next time 🙏
- 5/5
It’s a quaint little boutique hotel. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and well stocked. It could use a little refrigerator and microwave but maybe there just isn’t enough room
- 5/5
Welcoming and conveniently located. Great space for sightseers when you're out of the room all day coming back for comfortable sleep.
- 5/5
Great location, go
- 4/5
The lift is very slow however, and my VPAY cards (from NL/Europe) could not be accepted by the machine which was a hastle. I have changed several rooms, and in some the issue of single-glazed windows on the street side is real: the traffic noise is terrible and could not sleep. The rooms on the other side of the hotel - no such problems.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay at Solita Soho Hotel while I was in NY for Business for the past 5 days. Thank you to the staff
- 4/5
Staff was very kind and helpful. Great location.
- 2/5
Good location, near Chinatown and Brooklyn Bridge. But bathroom pipes made annoying noise in the middle of the night. They did not clean the room at all.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing and very helpful.
- 3/5
Hotel was clean but neighborhood was not very nice and there were no support services - TV not working and no one available to help.
- 5/5
This is a very small hotel on Grand Street, very downtown in New York. It doesn't have the amenities of a large 4 star hotel but it is relatively inexpensive within steps of Chinatown and Little Italy and esy busride uptown on Madnison Avenue, well kept and friendly.
- 5/5
Rooms are small but very clean. Great central location for a good price.
- 3/5
The all gender single is tiny. Probably the size of 1.5 twin sized beds. The bathroom is
- 3/5
Good location. Rooms are very small. Tv barely works. Staff are very friendly. Toilet clogged and was fixed promptly. Shower drain and fixture could use some attention. Not exactly a sound proof room but then again it is NYC. Would recommend based on location, and friendliness of staff.
- 4/5
You can’t find a better location or value in SoHo but you do have to make some compromises like hard beds, and in our case with two queen sized beds, the windows aren’t sealed properly and the room got very drafty on the higher floors. They moved us to the 3rd floor and it was slightly better. Very nice staff. All for around $200 night including taxes and fees.
- 3/5
Rooms are super small, not enough lighting or outlets to charge things. Sink was stopped up wash cloths were stained. Not worth the price per night but good location
- 5/5
One of New York favorite place
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
Close walk to the subway and shopping nearby. Location was great. Clean room and normal-sized space for NYC. 2-double bed room was two fulls. 3rd floor and could hear some people out Friday night but otherwise noise level wasn't too bad
- 3/5
The had a hole in the middle of the bed. They didn’t do the bathroom
- 4/5
The stay was excellent. Only issue was that the room's iron was non-functional.
- 3/5
Lobby was under construction so had carry bags upstairs. Construction was crazy loud.
- 3/5
This is an economy accommodation. In that sense, it was decent, clean, and very small. The water in the shower was not hot. It was warm enough, but sometimes it’s nice to have a hot shower. It wasn’t a dealbreaker. Had it been a little bit colder water it would’ve been a dealbreaker. I love the location a lot. Walkable. And very close to Subway stations. It was pretty good for what it was. I would stay here again. I like the coffee and pastries in the morning and the cookies in the afternoon. Some of the desk staff were very nice and helpful.
- 4/5
The clerk that helped us to check in acted awkward, he said that we’re going to stay at 7th floor but after a while said he has no keys and moved us to 4th floor, gave us only 1 keycard from our room.
- 5/5
Perfect spot for our needs! A perfectly located, clean, home base to have if you are out all day and evening exploring lower Manhattan! All staff we had contact with were very accommodating and friendly! Not ideal if you are planning to spend time in room as they are small.
- 3/5
It was okay. There were a couple of good things about the place but overall it was average.
- 5/5
The staff were incredibly friendly, making me feel truly welcome throughout my stay. A special thank you to Keith for going above and beyond with your hospitality—it made all the difference!
- 5/5
Only complaint was shower only warm, despite sink being quite hot. Assume the shower mixer m eeds adjustment. Otherwise excellent stay.
- 5/5
Such a beautiful boutique hotel
- 5/5
Immaculately clean and great location
- 5/5
Great service!
- 5/5
They have very friendly staff and supportive services including my kids favorite hot choco bar with cookies in afternoon and morning pastries from Starbucks! We will be back on next trip to nyc.
- 4/5
It was nicely staffed and clean. They provided lots of amenities. The only problem was the water was undrinkable because of pipework.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay in NYC, with super friendly staff.
- 3/5
This place was exactly as I expected for the price. It was quiet, clean and the front desk staff was nice. It wasn’t high end and it’s definitely dated. But I understand they’re renovating rooms. If you’re looking for a non-sketchy budget friendly hotel in this area, it’s a fine choice.
- 5/5
Had fun.
- 4/5
The room was small but clean and functional. Just what I was looking for my one night stay.
- 4/5
Didn't realize how small the rooms was, no breakfast for the price
- 5/5
Staff was great, and the property was very clean.
- 4/5
Nice hotel. The room was quite small for having two beds in it--would have been perfect for one person but a little cramped for two. But it was clean and comfy and the staff was great.
- 4/5
I enjoyed my stay here. The room was not big at all but that was not a worry since the rate was unbeatable. There were just some little unclean places here and there. For example, I found a hair in the bed that was not mine, the floor in the elevator clearly hadn’t been vacuumed in a while, and the flooring in the room wasn’t the best. Other than that, front desk was helpful, the rate was amazing, and I would see myself coming back to the Solita Soho Hotel!
- 5/5
We had a great stay and keith was amazing
- 3/5
The first night, the faucet of bathroom is broken and got fixed the next day. But there is no internet all the time and nobody fixed it until the date I leave. The room is cold even using the highest temp of the air condition. But the location is excellent (near to Soho, china town, little Italian).
- 5/5
We honestly loved our stay at the Solita soho hotel. It was an amazing experience. The staff are kind and collective and the room we had was super clean. Through it was a room with two double beds it was still super cozy! We had an amazing experience and would definitely be coming back to here again in the near future!
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
Nos dieron una habitación que era demasiado pequeña, muchos muebles adentro innecesarios.
- 4/5
This hotel is perfect for a quick getaway. Rooms are small but location was perfect and staff was wonderful. Parking was a challenge, but I would definitely stay here again.
- 3/5
My room was never cleaned for 4 days , one of the beds had a hole at the end so searing on the edge wasn’t an option . I had to use the same towel all 4 days and walking in the room after a shower got my feet’s all dirty .
- 4/5
Great location close to Little Italy and Chinatown. Felt safe and hotel staff was very attentive. Close to NYU and subway.
- 4/5
Loved the location and nice and clean. Reasonably priced and would love to go back!
- 4/5
Room was very nice however the bathroom sink did not drain. Staff was wondering
- 3/5
Space is tired. A lot of sound bleed from the outside and interior hallway (slamming doors). Linens - thin and linty. Location - convenient.
- 5/5
This is a cute little spot right next to little Italy. So it's a great location for good food and yummy snacks. The staff is fantastic and friendly. I would recommend staying here.
- 4/5
An exceptional team, that really cares about their guests. I am traveling a lot for business in much higher ranked hotels, and have seldom seen this genuine care for guests. So having this in a basic hotel is truely exceptional.
- 5/5
Friendly and helpful staff, clean room and subway is only a 6 mins walk. So much options for food because it’s right by little Italy and Chinatown
- 3/5
Hotel is very convenient if you want to shop also the staff was very helpful and kind. But the facilities like the bathtub and air conditioner and floor could use some upgrades.
- 5/5
Though room was small it is impressively clean. The housekeeping was impeccable.
- 4/5
cheap price, clean, small but good location.
- 5/5
I liked the location of the hotel it was very easy to reach from the bus station, it made my trip so convenient
- 5/5
Don't judge a book by it's cover. For a value-priced hotel in NYC, the outer facade doesn't look the greatest, but the rooms are clean, updated and good-sized.
- 5/5
It’s a good hotel
- 3/5
Great staff but the building is starting to look a little tires

Hotel doesn't offer much. Room and shower which is 'fine' if you need a place to crash in a pinch.

Great staff and wonderful location to walk around!

I ordered through expedia, and its clearly written as 2 double bed room on expedia receipt, and the time i checked in, the receptionist gave us a single double bed room, i go back down again to the front desk, and she said all the 2 double bed room are taken. After debating, the receptionist finally gave me the 2 double bed room. And said everything was their system faults, because somehow it was one double bedroom order on their system. Fast forward, we checked out next day, and was told because i have paid everything upfront (with expedia) there are nothing else, and i got charged $28 in the evening, which i dont know what it is for.

Room didn't seem like it was cleaned besides the bed being made. There was toothpaste on the counter and someone else's hairs on the desk. Not a fan of the flooring, it didn't seem like it could get clean.

This Hotel was terrible experience very small room not what I saw on my reserve I want you return my 56 dollars that I put to reserve it

Typical NYC room, excellent front desk staff and housekeeping.

We were running around the city so much that the hotel wasn't really the focus of our trip. The room was on the smaller side with modest furnishings. The soundproofing could be improved as doors opening and closing in the halls were pretty loud. But the bed was really comfortable and the staff were so lovely and helpful with booking a car to Newark for us. And they made it easy to drop off and hold our bags pre/post room. Love the SoHo are for its character and proximity to a lot of the spots we like to visit. All around a decent hotel experience!

Staff was rude and very short with me. Super unpleasant guy. I had many questions and he kept saying refer to the website you should have read all your answers there..Very poor customer service.

It really needs maintenance.

Hotel was clean, staff were nice, rooms have air conditioning, and the location is hard to beat! Highly recommended.

Employees were very nice.

Hotel is outdated but has the basics to stay overnight. Definitely enjoy the check out more than the check in. Judith at the front desk was very polite and friendly when we asked about bakeries around the area.

The stay was great. The manager, Keith, went above and beyond from the first second we approached the desk. It was above and beyond and the best service I have had at any hotel in the USA and in Europe. Very friendly, which is rare these days. It was a genuine friendliness that goes beyond the job description and some that is rarely experienced in any industry. Thank you for making our stay in NYC better.

Great view and comfy beds. No breakfast.

Good location
- 3/5
The hotel is in a great location in SoHo, the service was very good, and helpful. The rooms though are really small, two people would have a hard time being in the room at the same time, and the air conditioner unit is right next to the bed. It was a place for your stuff to live, and hopefully you didn't plan to spend much time in the room. Even working in the room was not ideal.

Location was very walkable to little Italy. At the entrance of the San Gennaro festival

We were promised an early check in at noon by the man working the front. When we came back at noon to check in he was incredibly rude and snippy saying we could not check in until 3. When we asked him why he was very submissive and would not give us a real answer and offered no apology for the delay. He had a horrible attitude when he was the one who told us noon in the first place when we initially arrived. Not to mention, I called weeks in advance to request this early check in. The location was the only good thing about this hotel. Elevator was terrible, staff was rude, floors in the rooms were dirty.

Hotel charges a tourist fee, which there was no mention of before booking.

For the money nearly $500 for one tiny room this was a pretty disappointing hotel. Really small and cramped to services in hotel but I guess at least it was in SoHo. I won’t be back but staff were at least nice.
- 5/5
Solid downtown option. Clean and comfortable in a compact space. Only issue was check in as the person at the desk was not there when I arrived and it was well over 10 minutes until they returned. A line to wait is fine, but this person was off outside of the hotel. No USB ports in room, but you could probably plug in your Ethernet.

This hotel is ideally located. You feel like you're in "real" Manhattan as opposed to Times Square. The rooms are small but functional. They are a bit worn but exceptionally clean and they have everything you need. Staff is superb--friendly and helpful. If you are trying to balance exceptional city experience with budget travel, this is the place.

I liked that it was convenient around the area, it's almost not seen from the structure of the building. Good for a night or two stay. The vents and AC vents were dusty, and the entrance doors were so close to other doors that you can hear other visitors enter and exit their rooms. Overall good area to stay in

Should have a better breakfast

This hotel is not worth the money. Disgusting smell in the room despite staff working to resolve the issue. Mattress was covered in a plastic sheet wrap and was not hygienic. Thee re was visible mold in the bathroom sink. We could not wait to leave but we had already pre-paid so we were stuck. Only positive is the great location and polite staff.

Great location

**Pros**: - Very well located in Soho/Little Italy/Chinatown. - Plenty of food and café options. - Small room, but clean bathrooms and a comfortable bed. **Cons**: - Noise in the area at night. - Small hotel with no luxuries. My recommendation: if you need a very convenient place at a good price, and keep your expectations low, this is a great option.

We loved the hotel overall, our only complaint was that the room did not have a mini fridge. We were in the area for 4 days, which made it hard to bring any restaurant leftovers back or save money by buying our own groceries. Other than that, we loved the hotel and would stay again!

Amazing location, close walking distance to everything. Will definitely stay here again.

Amazing location. Great for walking around the city and getting back to LGA. Faucet dripped in bathroom and light fixtures flickered. Mentioned these issues but nothing was fixed.

My room was nice and cozy. Very clean room and the Shower was double headed. Was great !!!
- 4/5
Great location in the center of soho, Chinatown and little Italy. Subway entrance not too far. Staff was friendly and helpful
- 4/5
My room was quite with a partial view. I didn't hear other rooms and the street was fairly quiet as well. If you can get a good deal, you could do a lot worse. Great for the budget traveler.
- 4/5
It's a nice little place to stay for a couple of days. It was inexpensive and close to Chinatown and little Italy.
- 4/5
Room kept having an on and off cigarette smell . May of came from other room but it was lingering from time to time .
- 4/5
Very Good location and close to a lot of dining options and easy to connect to other places
- 5/5
We loved this place. It’s clean, quiet and everything works perfectly. The room is small but comfortable and has all the amenities you need. The staff is super friendly. I would stay here again in the future.

Helpful, friendly staff. Nice refreshments of lemonade and cookies when i checked in. Clean and nice modern furnishings.
- 5/5
Great property conveniently located. Had some initial WiFi
- 4/5
Adequate hotel in the middle of SoHo, good coffee too!
- 3/5
Inexpensive for Soho. Floor was sticky in the room. Bath towel was rough, thin and small. Got there at 3:15pm and was asked if I called to confirm that the room was ready. The check in time listed is 3pm. Room was not ready until after 4pm. Otherwise the staff were friendly. All in all this hotel has seen better days. Needs to be renovated

Judith was the best at the front desk. Such a great hotel for anyone including a staycation.
