Reviews
The Ludlow Hotel is highly praised for its friendly and helpful staff, stylish and clean rooms, and great location in the Lower East Side of New York City. However, some guests have expressed disappointment with the size of the rooms, the slow service in the restaurant, and the misrepresentation of room views.
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Stylish and clean rooms
- Small room size
- Slow service in restaurant

We had a great stay and loved the hotel.
- 3/5
We were visiting our children and The Ludlow is conveniently located between the two of them. I loved the look of the hotel and the lobby and staff are great. We ate dinner the first night at the hotel bar/lobby. Food, drinks and atmosphere was fantastic. We also had breakfast the next morning and it was very good. My only complaint is the room felt small compared to other hotels of the same caliber. I had upgraded to a suite as i like to have more space. The room decor is beautiful but I prefer a larger room and the hotel does not have a 1 bedroom version of this size. However, the location of hotel and the amenities are wonderful.

Central location in East Village provides easy access to dining
- 5/5
Beautiful room, very helpful staff. I’d definitely come back!
- 5/5
The staff was great, friendly, and very helpful. They made sure to accommodate my requests.
- 5/5
Perfect for our family trip to the city for our parent’s 50th anniversary. My mom needed a little extra
- 5/5
Absolutely love this hotel. It's has such a great vibe and the rooms are lovely. The location is great... easy to get everywhere. Only complaint... sometimes it's a little hard to find some place to put things down... there's so much stuff in the room... otherwise don't change a thing.
- 5/5
Absolutely everything about this hotel was great. Incredible service, wonderful ambiance and I enjoyed the room. Comfortable and upscale. Nothing I can think of.
- 5/5
Stunning property and beautifully crafted decor everywhere you look!
- 5/5
Would stay again.
- 5/5
Nice staff
- 4.5/5
Loved the design and the location. All staff were very nice except one of the waitresses in the bar was not very friendly.
- 5/5
Rooms big and clean

Great stay at the Ludlow LES
- 5/5
We used to stay at The Marlton over and over when our kids went to NYU. Now they’ve moved east (our daughter is in Brooklyn and our son in lower east side) The Ludlow feels so very similar and familiar to the Marlton vibe in all the good ways. So- we’re super happy customers :) Will def be staying here again Tiny note- wish the Nespresso was outside the closet area. Tho of course- I know it’s all about making the most of space ;)
- 5/5
Loved everything about the hotel
- 5/5
The room was very clean and comfortable, and every staff member we interacted with — front desk, lobby staff, bell service, and housekeeping — was genuinely friendly and helpful. The service really stood out and made the stay feel elevated and welcoming. One thing that could be improved is the bathroom counter/storage space, especially in a room with multiple guests. The lighting and mirrors were great, but there was very little room to set toiletries or personal items down near the sink area. Even a small additional table or shelf would make a big difference. Overall, we loved the hotel’s design, location, and atmosphere and would absolutely stay here again.
- 5/5
The staff, building and location for the event we were attending were all fabulous. The only criticism I have was the elevator was so slow that going up to your room or back down to the lobby was a time suck.
- 4.5/5
We had a great stay at the The Ludlow Hotel. The location is perfect for exploring NYC, with so many great restaurants, cafés, and neighborhoods nearby. The fitness room was a real highlight: very clean, spacious, equipped with modern machines, and offering amazing views over the city through large windows. The rooftop is also a great bonus, especially to enjoy the NYC views. The lobby feels cozy and welcoming, making the hotel feel warm and stylish at the same time. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay there again. /
- 5/5
I loved this hotel! My room had great views and the location is great. The hotel restaurant is really good too.
- 5/5
Never disappoints! We booked the balcony room this time and it was an absolute stunning view. Best hotel in NYC!
- 4.5/5
We loved it! Location and staff were amazing!! X

- 5/5
Location is perfect, rooms are charming and love that they have room service from the fab restaurant downstairs. Bar also is a keeper.
- 5/5
Nice, clean room. Super friendly staff. Loved the location. Room maybe a touch small but its NYC. Shouldn't be sitting in your room.
- 3.5/5
Location was really great - surrounded by shops and cafes. General visual aesthetic was lovely and cool. Unsure if it lives up to the “hype”. For such a top rated hotel I’d expect a bit more - room service food was cold, rooms were comfortable but beds were small, lifts were incredibly slow, staff and service were hit and miss - found staff had a bit of an edge.
- 4/5
Location was great the wrap around windows were fun but very small living room. Looks much bigger in the pictures . Not sure if worth the extra money. Bit pricey

This is a gorgeous boutique hotel that feels like high end designers decorated the place, including the rooms.,They have a friendly front desk staff and nice products in the room (like curated shampoo,,conditioner and lotion, etc). It’s a great location on the lower east side, near tons of chic boutiques and little restaurants etc. very close to the village as well. The restaurant, Dirty French, doesn’t match the hotel in either the taste and quality of the food or the service. The woman who made my latte two mornings in a row was very blunt and not friendly. She clearly didn’t want to go above and beyond for customer service and had a snotty attitude. That is at direct odds with with the very friendly front desk staff. I ended up going down the street for coffee for the rest of my stay (5 nights) just to avoid this woman because it’s nice to be greeted with a smile and a “sure!” In the morning.
- 4/5
Really lovely stay in a smaller, cozy room. 12 floor was very quiet for the area and I slept very well. Wonderful pillows! Love having coffee in the room. Great shower.
- 5/5
Loved location. Loved bar. Restaurant was not very good. Roof top has amazing potential but not maintained and broken chairs
- 5/5
Staff was excellent!
- 5/5
Great location, lovely room and lobby.
- 5/5
Great location, friendly staff and loved our room! A bit expensive but it’s NY and the gym is super small. Free water but have to ask for it.
- 5/5
Fantastic hotel. Great location. Very friendly staff
- 5/5
Good size rooms for a boutique hotel. Very clean, great staff, excellent restaurant.
- 5/5
The location can't be beat...such a great area with great restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is cute. Has a retro 1920s feel. The windows open, but the room is nice and quiet once the windows are closed. Loved the huge, deep tub!! We have stayed here several times through the years. Friendly staff. Cozy lobby and lounge. Great restaurant in the hotel. Super cute bar next door called Revival. Lots of breakfast places in walking distance too. The AC needed to be able to go down one more notch for better cooling. It said 65°, but would've been perfect a couple degrees lower. The bed was comfortable! Pillows could've been firmer.
- 4/5
One of the room keys never worked, the slow and packed elevators.
- 5/5
Make to sure to request a room on the opposite side of Ludlow street, and rooms that are higher up because of sound.
- 4/5
Hip and handy if you’re staying lower east side.
- 5/5
Everything about this property was a pleasant surprise. The location is a 10 out of 10! My room was small, but the view and the bathroom were large; space in the right places. Perfect hotel for a busy person. At the end of the day, I enjoyed a well made drink by the lobby fireplace, and had some of the best fries in New York City. I highly recommend.
- 5/5
Spacious rooms, incredibly friendly staff, updated cool vibe, very clean.
- 5/5
Nothing
- 4.5/5
Room was tiny
- 5/5
I am stilll waiting for my invoice to be emailed to me .
- 5/5
Excellent and super trendy hotel in a fun location! The communal areas, such as the fireplace room, are great! The bathtub in our room was amazing!! Everything is very clean! The rooms are on the small side. Far from the Times Square area; must use ride share, taxi, or subway.
- 4.5/5
The room was great - we loved the terrace and the bed was very comfortable. The room was also very clean. The elevators were very, very slow. Since there are only two and we were on the 7th floor, by the time the elevators got to us they were too packed to even get on. We ended up taking the stairs down, but the hallways had room service and laundry/garbage. This is probably unavoidable since it is an older building and we left close to check-out time for the rest of the guests.
- 5/5
We we're there for a wedding. The room wax a little small but comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative was construction preventing easy access for vehicles.
- 5/5
Staff was outstanding! Rooms were very comfortable and very quite. Main floor lobby /bar/restaurant had a great vibe and the hotel location is an A+.
- 5/5
Love the location
- 5/5
what a wonderful stay at the Ludlow. The staff is incredible. shout outs to Omar and the whole front desk team. they really go the extra mile.
- 5/5
Clean room great ambiance
- 5/5
Execellent! Great neighborhood. Great rooms. Great staff. Coming back here in July
- 5/5
Loved my stay at this incredibly beautiful hotel! From the moment you arrive you’re surrounded by a chic, stylish aesthetic from the front entrance and lobby and throughout the area. My room was spacious and tastefully decorated, the bathroom was gorgeous-I could go on. Lower East Side NYC is my favorite area to stay-lively and colorful. Highly recommend the Ludlow.
- 4/5
There were a few minor issues, like hearing the wind through the windows, low water pressure in the shower and a small leak from the bathtub hose. These did not significantly impact our stay. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend the Ludlow Hotel to anyone visiting New York City.
- 5/5
Nice stay in great location downtown.
- 5/5
Everything was absolutely amazing & was in such an amazing area
- 5/5
Amazing location and stay at The Ludlow. Only complaint would be the elevator was super slow and the stairs option was nowhere to be found.
- 5/5
Exceptional stay in LES - every detail has obviously been carefully considered.
- 5/5
Very happy to discover this fresh version of our old favorite, The Bowery!
- 5/5
Amazing
- 5/5
I have family on the LES, so I wanted to stay close. This hotel surpassed all of my expectations. I booked the Sky box loft and I can’t recommend enough. The views are spectacular and it was very spacious compared to standard NYC hotel rooms. Incredible restaurants within 10-15 minutes. SOHO was easy to get to and the lobby bar was the place to be in the evening. My new nyc home when I’m in town!
- 5/5
Superb hotel with excellent, friendly, helpful staff, larger-than-average room size, nice bar, decent restaurant. Great location on the Lower East side with subway access 5 minutes away. We had a fabulous stay that was extended due to the snowstorm and wouldn't have wanted to be stranded anywhere else!
- 4/5
Overall, a very great value in NYC!
- 4/5
Very nice hotel and great area
- 5/5
Staff, cleanliness, and attentiveness
- 4/5
Friendly staff, clean rooms. Rooms show sign of wear and tear. Better bedside tables needed. No room to place your things
- 5/5
Yes, absolutely.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect
- 4/5
Rooms clean just a tad squeeze, elevator tricky to jump into when it’s busy. Awesome lounge and downstairs restaurant and bar.
- 5/5
Amazing hotel with a great lobby bar. Our room was so spacious with 2 beds. Highly recommend !
- 5/5
Clean spacious
- 5/5
Vibes
- 5/5
There is no better hotel in LES. The staff is incredible. Rooms are lovely. So charming. Love the fireplace in the bar. Food is outstanding. We can’t wait to come back!
- 5/5
Hotel is clean, staff is very nice, lobby was vibrant and simply nice experience all around.
- 5/5
The room was clean, the staff were excellent. 10/10 experience
- 5/5
The room was very clean and tidy, roomy, and beautiful! The location was amazing and there is a really cool bar in the lobby. It wasn’t loud during the night. I would absolutely stay here again. My only complaint is that the beds could have been comfier.
- 3/5
Breakfast menu was ok, no view
- 5/5
We loved it! Room was spotless. Very comfortable. Staff was wonderful! Very helpful. The restaurant was lovely. The food was delicious! The location is perfect and everything we wanted to do was walkable. We spent a lovely weekend and will definitely be back!
- 4/5
very friendly staff
- 4/5
The staff was wonderful, the room was beautiful but the bed was uncomfortable. The bedding was the very poor quality and the embroidered logo in the middle of the sheets was a weird uncomfortable location. Unfortunately, I barely slept.
- 5/5
Great vibe and lobby
- 5/5
Loved this hotel!
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable room and the staff was fantastic.
- 5/5
We loved our stay at this hotel, it’s wonderful! The rooms are beautiful and thoughtfully designed. We stayed in the double room suite that had two bedrooms (one king bed, one queen) separated by a hallway with a bathroom. The atmosphere at the hotel was fabulous, it’s a hotel where you’re just as happy staying in as venturing out. The service was also excellent. The hotel is also in a great location. It’s very close to Russ and Daughters and the Tenement Museum which were both on our list. Also walking distance to SoHo. All around, a fantastic stay and we can’t wait to stay there again in the future.
- 5/5
Clean room and very cozy. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
- 5/5
Fun
- 5/5
Very nice room. Friendly staff. Nice restaurant. Cosy lobby.
- 5/5
Exceptionally clean, staff was extremely attentive and welcoming. Our stay felt elevated and exclusive.
- 3/5
Cute hotek but rooms are sooooooo small!
- 5/5
I rely heavily on quest reviews when selecting a hotel. So i wanted to take the time to give an accurate personal review from a very picky traveler but on a budget of sorts. I want a trendy, hip, clean, friendly hotel. Everyone has a different opinion of what makes each of these qualities. Here’s what happened start to finish… We were greeted immediately upon walking through the door, helped with our luggage and given recommendations for a brunch spot. Alice checked us in and was extremely friendly. Andy and Miquel handled our luggage (storing and delivering). They were so nice! The hotel is small and cozy. I did a lot of research on rooms and accommodations. LUDLOW delivered -especially for a vintage hotel in NYC! We had three girls so we opted for the double room which was perfect! One KIng bedroom and a queen bedroom, and a shared darling bathroom. The king bed I slept in was extremely comfortable and the sheets and comforter were delightful! Very quiet.WE were asked if we could benefit from luggage racks and they brought us up 3 immediately. Each room had a small closet for hanging items. Our king room had built in shelves beside closet for storing a lot of items. The hallway with the bathroom had a nice hangar for 6 hooks for our coats, etc.Very nice. The elevators might have been a bit slow as other guests mentioned but really nothing to complain about- maybe a 2-3 minute wait. The hotel lobby was spectacular! Always busy/happening.Anna was amazing!perfect place!
- 5/5
Courteous staff; lovely room
- 5/5
Great atmosphere throughout and especially the lounge. The staff is incredible. The answer was always yes.
- 5/5
Amazing service very clean the best location was a perfect stay
- 5/5
Staff were excellent, bar was superb by the fire, room could have been bigger but for how often we were in it it worked. Great location and would definitely recommend!
- 5/5
Always my favorite place to stay in NY!
- 5/5
Very cozy clean room. Friendly staff
- 5/5
Room Ready when I checked in @ 12:30pm And they upgraded me to a fabulous, light filled suite!
- 5/5
Really amazing stay at the Ludlow. Shoutout to the reception staff and ground workers, who were friendly and accommodating to us travelling over from Glasgow, Scotland. Rooms lovely as expected and great vibe around the hotel. Looking forward to returning in the next few years.
- 5/5
Great hotel overall
- 5/5
What a lovely boutique hotel! I loved my cozy, well appointed, very clean room. It was serviced beautifully every day by wonderful staff. I also appreciated the friendly staff at the front desk. The lobby lounge is a great place to hang out and I also enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant. I look forward to returning to stay again!
- 1/5
Housekeeping didn’t clean our room even after we requested it before leaving for the day. We also never received the waters we asked for at check-in, and the hallway had a foul smell one morning with old room-service food left out for hours. While we were offered a room change, we had already unpacked. For the price paid and for a special occasion, the stay fell far below expectations. I hope you will address these issues
- 5/5
Lovely rooms, very comfotable bed, great shower and convenient location
- 5/5
Very much enjoyed our stay at the ludlow. Room was clean and very quiet. Staff was very pleasant.
- 5/5
It was a great stay!
- 4/5
only 3 lights so could really only see when it was light outside in room. bathroom lighting fine also there were no drawers for clothes and i eas there for 4 nights
- 5/5
The front desk staff was very nice and helpful, They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and were happy to give recommendations for sightseeing.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Fun vibes
- 5/5
The Ludlow Hotel my preferred stay in NYC. Its lower East side location is close to restaurants and shops and the rooms, while small are beautifully appointed. The bar/common space feels like a living room and the fireplace make the space seem warm and cozy.
- 4/5
Small rooms and high prices - juice not worth the squeeze
- 5/5
Very noisy
- 4/5
Enjoyed the stay. Room was excellent. Room service was slow. Order never
- 5/5
Excellent room and hotel. Very well maintained and clean. Great location with a nice hotel lounge as well. Definitely will stay there again.
- 5/5
Great location and vibe. The rooms are a little small for two people
- 5/5
Perfect location and plenty to do in the area
- 5/5
Gorgeous hotel so much character and in a cool location lots of food and cafe options. Loved it can’t wait to go back 🗽😍
- 5/5
Cannot wait to stay here again!!!
- 5/5
We loved the decor of the whole building. Our room was very quaint and comfortable.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
I chose this hotel for it's unique room ( a two bedroomed suite with shared bath ) as I was holidaying with a family member. The space was absolutely perfect for our needs. Decoratively delightful, great bar and restaurant, super helpful front desk and bell staff. We are a little old for the area but it did not detract from our stay. Roof terrace wonderful.
- 5/5
centrally located very knowledgable staff highly recommended
- 5/5
Amazing place and staff.
- 3/5
Check in was delayed. Staff reasonably nice. Surrounding area is full of great restaurants and things to do.
- 5/5
Amazing Property, vibrant part of the city. I would highly recommend..
- 5/5
Great for an NYC visit
- 5/5
Fantastic spot in the East Village for a NewYork city visit.
- 5/5
Stellar everything!
- 5/5
Gorgeous hotel with lovely decor and the Skyloft apartment we stayed in had breathtaking views of the city. Hopefully be back again for our anniversary at some point in the future, but will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Thanks to everyone there.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. The location was perfect for where my daughter is living We enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Alice at the front desk and her team at the Ludlow are amazing. We are so pleased with the cleanliness the layout of our room and can’t believe the location. We would definitely stay here again. I couldn’t recommend it more to anyone visiting. It’s got a bit of an edge which we loved And none of this corporate crap that you can see in the big cities. We loved lounging downstairs, getting coffee and just comfortable with the overall feel. We had 1000 hotels to book from and we could not recommend more than what we experienced. We will be back again!
- 5/5
It was quiet, for starters. I stayed in a terrace room and loved it so much. Especially at night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.
- 4/5
Great location. Really pleasant hotel.
- 4/5
Stayed in the Ludlow Loft for a long girls weekend. Location was perfect — super accessible to cute restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. Awesome area for a late night bite, too. The loft was pretty specious with 2 sitting areas and ample space to spread out your luggage. Only thing was there are only 2 elevators that guests share with staff and they are slow moving. Overall, it was a great stay and I’d come back.
- 5/5
Loved our stay!
- 5/5
Wonderful staff at a very charming hotel in the middle of a great neighborhood.
- 5/5
Great hotel, staff, restaurant and nice open area with couches and fire place. I almost forgot....nice gym, too, with great views and outside patio area. We'll be back in the Fall. Thank you!
- 5/5
One of my favorite places to stay in the city.
- 4/5
Everything
- 5/5
I e and staff are excellent!
- 5/5
It was a great stay except the beds are noisey if you know what I mean.
- 5/5
Love how quiet the Ludlow is (we were on floor 11), despite it being in a busy area. I did find it odd that I had to request a luggage rack for the room, but they brought it up very quickly. The room and common areas were clean. My only nitpicks are that I didn't love the pillows (not enough neck support) and the toilet paper holder kept falling off the wall.
- 5/5
Great and convenient
- 5/5
Awesome hotel, amazing service and food. Great location, all super cool.
- 5/5
I’ve stayed at the Ludlow Hotel 4 times when visiting my daughter in NYC. It is an excellent small hotel with a great staff who always makes me feel special. I will continue to stay there.
- 5/5
We rented a king + queen room for our family of 4. The room had two separate rooms with a bathroom between and a sitting area. We received a welcome gift of wine and bonbon candy. Ludlow also has a rooftop with a great view. Very clean and friendly service! Location is excellent with many good restaurants and close enough to the subway.
- 5/5
It was our first stay at the Ludlow and we truly enjoyed it. The staff, Omar, upon check in were very helpful and kind. Andy at the door had many great suggestions for bars to check out and Brandy at the bar was very informative about other options to check out as well. We truly enjoyed our room with it's sitting area and lovely furnishings. One negative was our extremely squeaky bed. Beautiful bed, but very noisy even for sleeping. All in all, we loved our stay and look forward to returning to this neighborhood again soon to check it out even further. We usually stay near Central Park and love that area, but this was a great stay in a different area of town. Thanks!
- 5/5
Loved everything! So friendly
- 5/5
Bar area was great, staff on reception were really helpful and friendly, and our room made great use of the space available (and had a bonus view of the Lenin statue a couple of blocks away).
- 5/5
Excellent location near unique shops and restaurants. Hotel has wonderful indoor and outdoor seating/eating areas. Small rooms, but usual for NYC. Helpful staff.
- 5/5
It was the most incredible stay my favourite hotel to stay in New York! The staff were so friendly and attentive would recommend to anyone to stay at the Ludlow
- 5/5
I absolutely LOVED this hotel! They generously upgraded my room, which was incredibly comfortable and beautifully appointed. The location couldn’t be more perfect. Room service was delicious. This will definitely be my go-to hotel whenever I’m in NYC. A+++ all around!
- 5/5
A great hotel in a really good location. The room was quiet and mostly comfortable - it was slightly overfilled with furniture which made moving around tricky and it was very dark. But we loved staying here and would definitely return. The terrace was our highlight.
- 5/5
Ludlow was great. Fun neighborhood to explore. Staff was attentive and friendly.
- 5/5
We enjoyed the hotel very much. It was a wonderful experience and we will surely come back. I would to point out the superb service and the staff of the hotel which was so helpful and competent.
- 5/5
Love this hotel
- 5/5
Beautiful! Spacious rooms, great restaurant. Loved it.
- 5/5
Great location for night life and vintage shopping. Stay here if you want to feel like a young and hip local. Housekeeping was so eager to clean our rooms which I liked. We always had a clean room. The lobby is welcoming and secured from the public after a certain hour, I loved it here
- 5/5
This is just a wonderful hotel. The location is great. The rooms are clean. The staff are always helpful. The bar is fabulous!
- 5/5
Great stay at a beautiful place
- 5/5
Such an incredible staff! We loved every minute of our stay! We will definitely be back!
- 5/5
What a gorgeous hotel, the rooms, the lobby, and so much space for NYC. Plus, the staff was helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Our favorite hotel to stay at in NY. Walkable, subway very close, restaurants and coffee shops all walkable. Staff are always amazing!
- 5/5
I had a great stay. The staff was attentive, the facility was inviting and very nicely appointed, the room was very nicely decorated with a comfortable bed and a very nice bathroom. To me the Ludlow is a high value experience. It was not inexpensive but it delivered a great value as it exceeded its promises as to what the hotel offered. The gym was also very nice with 180 degree views of the city. I would definitely recommend it.
- 5/5
loved the visit. Water seemed to be a little discolored but managed to enjoy overall.
- 2/5
The bathtub was filthy on arrival…
- 5/5
The Ludlow was perfect! Staff was very accommodating and helpful. The only thing I would say wasn’t perfect was the elevators can sometimes take a while and the powder creamer provided in the room didn’t mix well/ easily. Otherwise, would def stay there again! Rooms were very quiet esp for NYC!
- 5/5
Amazing. Was fantastic
- 5/5
cozy boutique vibe, love the lobby lounge
- 5/5
This is my all time favourite hotel in Manhattan. The staff are consistently friendly, helpful and look to exceed expectations. Location is great for exploring East Village but also only a 15 min taxi ride from most of the major attractions. Comfy rooms, well equipped and clean. Highly recommended!
- 5/5
Great location for my daughter’s recent move to New York. Wonderful staff, great restaurant, good people! I’m just small, but typical for New York City exclamation point.
- 5/5
Super cute and cozy room that was immaculate and made me feel right at home (but cleaner haha). Staff were always around and working hard…and it shows. Good location if you want to be on the LES where there aren’t a ton of hotel options. Could have done without the (guests?) smoking pot on the benches out in front of the hotel that wafted up even to the 12th floor, but I guess that’s ny for you these days and not really the hotel’s fault. Loved it here and would stay again. Appreciated the easy to control thermostat that actually seemed to work, I stay in a lot of hotels and this is not a given.
- 5/5
Well
- 4/5
Tiny rooms - there wasn’t even enough room to open a carry on suitcase on the floor and the wardrobe door couldn’t open without moving the chair out of position. Bed was comfortable but so small for two people. Bathroom so small the toilet roll holder was under the sink and the door had to be closed to use the toilet. The staff and housekeeping share two lifts with guests throughout the day to service 20 floors and it took on average 5 minutes just to get in the lift. Service was good but it all lacked the feeling of a luxury hotel.
- 5/5
Awesome
- 5/5
Beautiful property, great location, staff very helpful and pleasant.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel and terrific staff! Thank you!
- 5/5
Incredible views of the entire city from my 15th floor suite. Loved the service at the bar. Very comfortable stay in an interesting, safe, walkable neighborhood.
- 5/5
Great staff!
- 5/5
loved it.
- 5/5
Very charming hotel, wonderful room and friendly/helpful staff. Highly recommend.

Great impression walking in the door. Greeted by very friendly staff and a roaring fireplace in lounge. Every thing was top notch. The rooms are beautifully decorated. We were in room 703 with a huge terrace. The staff is also very helpful with directions and recommendations. Andy was our favorite in valet. Highly recommend this hotel!! We will definitely stay again next time in NYC!!

Love The Ludlow! Our favorite hotel in New York. Stayed here for the last two years while my daughter was at NYU. We love it!

Every amenity is walking distance with easy access to other parts of the city. We highly recommend The Ludlow

We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. A good location with walkable access to financial district and Brooklyn bridge. Great food options within walking distance. Highly recommend!

A beautiful hotel stay. We stayed on the 11th floor and had a great view across Manhattan. The room was small but beautifully decorated with heavy curtains, a four-poster dark wood bed, a rug, dark wood floors and white beams. The shower was perfect and had good pressure. The rest of the hotel was beautifully decorated too and we enjoyed hanging out in the big downstairs lounge by the fireplace and then eating brunch in Dirty French, the restaurant there. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the nightlife in the east village and on the lower east side. Highly recommend!

Great locations, very small rooms; annoying if you have more than one piece of luggage and it is almost great for a person but not for two people.

Will be returning

Stay was amazing. Just wish the pillows were a bit more comfortable. They were just worn down. Room was on the smaller side. However these are the only things we can think of. A great place to stay nonetheless and we will be returning.

A really wonderful boutique hotel on the LES. Since its winter they had a beautiful roaring fire in the lounge which was nice to see when arriving back after a long day. The room was on the smaller side but had every amenity needed. Loved the nespresso machine and the view was fantastic. Great access to the subway which was only a couple of blocks away, but walking allowed us to see all the fun neighborhood gems. We ordered room service and the food was delicious. There was nothing that was "wow" but overall a nice, friendly, clean, trendy, place. Would absolutely stay again!

What an amazing hotel! We had such a blast during our stay. The vibe is buzzing and trendy, making it the perfect spot for some entertaining people-watching. Our room was super clean, offered a stunning view of the city, and the bed was incredibly comfy. While the space for clothes and toiletries was a bit tight, we got creative and made it work. If you’re looking for a place with a touch of old-world charm, I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Awesome Lobby ! Fantastic! Beautiful property Woke up a lot sr night as the loud heater kept cycling off & on. Nice staff!, nice view. Just Had a hard time using the night stand. Too much paraphernalia to sell in room. Would have liked less alcohol in room to buy as I had to take things out to put my fruit & takeout leftovers in fridge

I feel like every time I go to New York I can’t stay anywhere else that’s not the LUDLOW. It’s definitely the gold standard when it comes hospitality, luxury, and immaculate vibes. The staff was incredible, the suite we stayed in was extremely cozy and dreamy. I’m already planning on booking another stay at the LUDLOW, this Spring 2025. 10/10 Experience

Fantastic boutique hotel with beautiful lobby and garden patio for working, drinks and food, great restaurant, and staff was wonderful! Right around the corner from Katz's Deli.

The accommodations are GORGEOUS. The bathtub is dreamy! However the best part was the welcoming and helpful staff.

My 4th stay and will go again

This is my second time staying at the Ludlow, and it definitely won’t be my last. The hotel is conveniently located to so many great spots, and the subway was only a couple of blocks away. I feel safe here, and the staff is always amazing.

The hotel is great. Luxurious, comfortable, great service, great location. Overall, good value. BUT, and its a big "but", my wife left her laptop in the room at checkout. We called within an hour, explained the situation, our room number, and where the laptop would be. We were promised a call back very soon thereafter. We called the hotel three times that day and never received a call back. When we called three hours after the initial call, I was told that they hadn't had a chance to check the room yet, but I could expect a call back soon. Again nothing. For such a nice hotel with great service while we were there, this is unacceptable.
