    The location in Midtown was excellent for our plans. Rooms are big by NY standards and the inroom amenities and facilities were great. The bellboys were good but they seemed upset when we didnt choose their recommendation for a driver. All in all i would repeat.

    We had an unfortunate start to the stay. The staff told me to go in and they will bring the luggage in. They forgot a laptop bag in the car. The whole holiday was wasted chasing that laptop.

    The rooms are lovely, the gym is fantastic. The gentleman who cleaned my room was lovely and did a great job. Some of the desk staff were not very helpful, while others were great. You need consistency with staff, especially front desk.

    The doorman and the bell boys were the best and they solved any inquiry they didnt seem upset just to ask for toilet paper or water…. And the room service lady was amazing!! The front desk people and the room cleaning. The suite was so small the bathroom didnt have anything to put my things on and the light was awful for makeup i have no drawers to put my clothe it was such random room for the price

    This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The location is perfect. It’s not on a super busy street, so it’s not incredibly noisy. It is easily accessible to almost all attractions. The room was incredibly spacious by New York standards. We will definitely stay here again. The hotel is modern, clean, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

    This hotel exceeded our expectations from the desk checkin to the restaurant, to the room and the service over delivered by Karinne. Dabble had scrumptious food. The one bedroom suite had a nice layout and partial view of Central Park. This will be my come back hotel for sure!!

I had the experience of a lifetime looking over the city on a very high floor. Breathtaking views and wonderful facilities. Something that I didn't think was possible. The staff made me feel safe and secure while in their building. Which made my old over round, feeling of having the best time in new york possible. I appreciate the staff so much. I couldn't have asked for a better time. Especially on such a last minute notice. The price is steep. But worth it.

    We had an absolutely wonderful day. Our room was large with great views of the city and even a little bit of Central Park. It seems like our room had been renovated at least within the last few years everything was nice and clean. I read in reviews some negative comments about the staff, but that was not our experience at all, all of the staff were extremely helpful and displayed exceptional hospitality. The gym is outstanding , especially for a hotel. The restaurant is decent although a bit overpriced but that’s expected in NY. There is a $35 destination fee each night, but that credit can be applied towards food and drink at the restaurant.

    Perfect midtown location. Close to Times Square but not in the middle of it. The staff was great. I booked a King Suite with a sleeper sofa. They didn’t have it on my arrival so they gave me a free upgrade to an incredible two bedroom suite. My entire family loved our stay here.

    We stayed here for a week during Spring Break two weeks ago with our two small children. Staff was fantastic, very professional. Our Bellman Chris was very helpful and always happy to see us, he helped with waters whenever we asked. Bartenders were fantastic too. Location can’t be beat.

    In our room, one of the phones was completely dead, the hairdryer did not work, and the bedroom door would not close all the way. The staff handled each of those issues well. But the pattern reveals something deeper — operationally, things are being missed. When I spoke with the staff, most had been at the hotel for years and genuinely enjoyed their jobs. They understood hospitality. That part was clear. The elevators also showed signs of neglect — doors opening in strange cadences, brakes stopping abruptly. Small things. But small things add up. Where service most visibly broke down was in guest communication. We happened to book the same weekend as the NYC Half Marathon and were unaware until we saw the barricades go up toward the end of the week. I noticed a map near the elevator bank but did not fully grasp that the race route would completely cut off my path home. Fortunately, I made the decision to leave earlier than planned on checkout morning and avoided any significant delays. The staff, however, had very little awareness of the race's impact on travel.     - our shower flooded twice and we had to move rooms at 1am (maintenance took over two hours to respond for this issue just to move us). - overnight room service was unavailable both the days that we stayed. - for a luxury property, the attention to the detail was not great (shampoo, condition, body wash tray was not attached to the wall and was just sitting on the shower floor, rooms had a lot of imperfections such as flickering lights, holes, and paint chips). Despite these issues, the hotel was willing to work with us on providing a better experience.

    When we arrived at 5pm we were told by the receptionist that the staff had not cleaned the room and we would have to wait for another hour to check in or change the room type. When I pointed out that check in was 3pm and it’s already 2 hrs after 3, he told me that I would have to find the manager to sort out the problem. The manager eventually helped us but this remains the only hotel I’ve been where the guest cannot check in easily at 5PM!

    Best decision we made in NYC! We will definitely stay here again. The rooms were well appointed and so aesthetic. The suite was fantastic and spacious. The staff went beyond for myself and my kids. We felt so comfortable here. You could not ask for a better location walking distance to everything! We love this property.

    Paid extra for a park view which was totally obscured by a huge building in front of us (had a great view of someone’s bedroom though). Checked in to our suite at midnight to go upstairs and find our previous call with the hotel asking for a rollaway bed or sofa bed was not a “confirmation” so our teenager slept on the couch with what the kind housekeeper said was the last blanket/sheet in the hotel. Requested a burger via room service to be called back in 5 minutes to be told they were out of burgers. At checkout we sawwere charged $50 each for two drinks from the mini bar we did not have (perhaps we moved them) - glad I checked the bill. Paid over $800 a night. Not going there again.

    Spacious room, very comfortable for mom, dad and 3 kids. 2 queen beds and oldest slept comfortably on the couch. Large bathroom, large enough for 3 ladies/preteens to all get ready at once. Beds were comfy. Slightly noisy outside. Sirens and horns could be heard easily by 6am. Not the most soundproof hotel I’ve ever stayed in NYC but I would definitely stay again. Great location!

    The hotel is way too expensive, the photos of the room online are same as what the room looks like, reception staff appear not knowing what they are doing, not welcoming, and unprofessional, the only nice staff member is one of the doormen, he was exceptional and very kind, he would be the only good experience we had staying at the hotel for more than a week. Check carefully, there are better hotels out there, we won't go back for sure.

    Terribly stained carpet. Terrible lighting. The large circular light around very large mirror in the bathroom malfunctioned and went out half way through our stay. It would have required disassembling entire light just to fix. Thus, had to dress in poor lighting. Then charged me destination fee/state tax 281.19! Unbelievable!! Your stated price to me was false. Needless to say, I will never stay at this hotel again. I will likely not use hotels.com again as a result of you providing me false payment information.

    They left our food tray outside our door for 24 hours despite multiple calls to guest relations and in room dining and multiple assurances that it would be removed.     Door man met me immediately when I exited the taxi. He opened my door and said welcome. (he wore a hat). I felt welcomed after my long train ride. I was checked in immediately and went upstairs. I was so tired I ordered room service for dinner. Food arrived within 20 minutes. I was surprised it was so fast. Maid knocked on my door to turn down the bed. I felt like aa queen. Everyone was very nice. Went out of their way for everything.

    If you like large hotel rooms in NYC, you'll love this hotel. The rooms would be large by any standard in regular unpopulated cities so it was a surprise to get this much room in manhattan. Best part is the separation in the rooms - nice living space separate from the bedroom and closet to drop your bags and shoes, etc.

    The rooms are perfect for families. The pull out sofa was actually not terrible. The room service was amazing. The only down side is that our room smelled like it was moist and mildewed. Thank goodness the window opened otherwise I would’ve requested a different room. Not all the rooms smell that way because we had a park view room at first that smelled fine, but it wasn’t the room we booked so we had to go to a different room that smelled weird.

    I was locked out of my room for about an hour after a day out in the NYC hot sun. My key card wouldn’t work and I had to wait over an hour while a handyman came to first diagnose the issue and then practically change the locks on the door as my kids sat on the floor of the hallway tired and hungry. No apologies at all from hotel management. Horrible service.

    The only issue was check-in. The line was long and we had to wait in the crowded lobby for a while (not the best after traveling all day). We had booked and prepaid for 3 nights- but missed our flight and didn't arrive until day 2. I had messaged the hotel two times stating we were still coming, but our reservation had been cancelled by the hotel (again, we had already paid for the room). Management did make up for it; we got the room we booked, and they sent up a bottle of champagne and a piece of cake with an apology letter. I loved the room so much that I'm willing to overlook the check-in issues.

    It was the first time my husband visited New York, and I wanted to make sure he really got to experience the city. We leaned on Jason often for outstanding dinner reservations, and booking our show. It was like we had someone to check in with each day to make sure we were doing it right and he set us up for the best possible success. We spent a considerable amount of time enjoying the amenities, not just the room. The staff continually went out of their way to find ways to engage with us and add value. It made us feel very special!

    Due to a late cancellation, I was offered a one day penalty which I was fine with. Due to connection issues with the Hotels app, Hotels did not honor the refund claiming the hotel management wouldn't allow for the partial refund. I send an email with all communication where the hotel agreed to a partial refund to Hotel.com and the Luxury Collection Hotel that went unanswered. Long time customer of Hotels and the Marriot brand. Horrible display of customer service.

    Pleasantly surprised after reading decidedly mixed reviews regarding service. I was warmly greeted, front desk staff was knowledgeable and efficient and eager to help. All staff was attentive and made an effort to provide good service. My junior suite was clean, well appointed and well stocked. Housekeeping was excellent. Never lacked for anything as towels, coffee, water etc were all restocked throughout the day. Dabble bar tenders make great cocktails. The only negatives were bed sheets were unexpectedly rough while pillow cases were nice and soft. The restaurant has an awkward closure between breakfast and lunch service which was inconvenient and a little annoying to observe diners lingering over coffee and breakfast as you're turned away.

    We’ve stayed here many times and like the hotel and the rooms, which are nicely decorated and comfortable. The location is great. One thing I didn’t like was my partially finished bottle of water at my bedside was thrown out. I had added my indigestion med to the water for later use, but it apparently was tossed out. I would think they should only throw out things that are placed in the trash. Otherwise, our stay was enjoyable.

    Spent 4 days for Spring Break with my teens and found this hotel suite to be quite comfortable. Close to attractions but also to subway lines so getting around was easy. Felt safe and enjoyed the little touches offered like coffee in the lobby, champagne on the weekend and wine tasting before dinner in the hotel restaurant. Would definitely stay here again even though I prefer staying Downtown.

    destination fee. This was not expressed to us up front and having to pay this negates Expedia advertising the property at a reduced rate. Simply put, it’s false advertising.

    We made our reservation 2 months in advance. Upon arrival to check in our room was not available and we had to fit our entire family (4 persons) into a room with only 1 bed. Unacceptable!

    Had to wait almost 4 hours for our room even after arriving 2 hours after stated check in time. The room had a sofa bed we were utilizing and there were no cherts, blankets or pillows. We called twice and were told they would deliver them and they never did, we were so tired one person just slept in there clothes. Next day we asked again and they never even serviced the room and still no sheets or blankets. We were glad to check out and move on to our next stop.

    I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at your hotel from 4/5/2025 to 4/9/2025. We stayed at 3408 and 3802 & 04. While I had high expectations based on your reputation, several issues during my stay have compelled me to bring them to your attention. Firstly, I checked in about 4pm upon arriving from the airport. The front desk wasn’t helpful and was very rude. We were welcomed by the front desk. I did not take down his name. We have booked two rooms with 2 queens in each room. He allocated us with one and was very impatient with our requests. We told him that we had booked two rooms, and he only wanted to give us a room. Then, after waiting for 30 min, a another or supervisor came and took over the situation and eventually upgraded us to a suite with one king and another room with a queen bed. For a 5-star hotel, I expect excellent customer service from all customers. Secondly, the Wi-Fi was down when we tried to log in. I called the service line and was told WIFI is not working. Then, the toilet got choked up even before we used it, and the shower door was leaking lots of water when we took a shower. We got to call the customer service to unclog the toilet and mentioned the leaking problem, but it wasn’t taken care of. It was for room 3804. For room 3408, the water was leaking badly, and the tap was dipping water in an OFF position. This was quite unexpected and affected my comfort significantly. Eva

    Very spacious room. Elegant decor. Wonderful marble bathroom. Heat doesn’t go above 75 and it was chilly. Comforter too thin. Breakfast service and food very average.

    First, at checkout, I noticed three unexpected mini bar charges—even though I hadn’t consumed the items. I had briefly removed a couple to check their nutrition labels and returned them untouched, yet I was still charged. This made me wonder if they use a sensor system that registers when items are moved. If so, what happens if a child takes everything out just to look? Are the parents still charged, even if nothing was consumed? I emailed the hotel for clarification but never received a response. Considering each box of M&M’s was $18, being charged over $40 for two untouched items was ridiculous. The checkout process was also slow. We valeted our car, but the front desk made a mistake entering our valet ticket and never called for the car. After waiting nearly 30 minutes, we followed up—they apologized and refunded one night of parking, which I appreciated. Another issue: we were charged a $35 per night destination fee, which we were told at check-in could be used toward food at their restaurant. We dined at Dabble, but the credit was never applied to our bill. New York is already expensive, and hidden fees combined with a lack of transparency made the experience feel dishonest. I left feeling disappointed—and a bit cheated.

    We had a nice 3 day stay but our room was tiny, better suited for one person. There is almost no storage. All drawers are occupied with coffee and minibar equipment and even the safe. The closet is tiny. Our housekeeper told us that almost all the other rooms are suites! We did have a good view.

    For a luxury hotel, staff especially guest services who’s answering phone calls should be trained to be more customer friendly. I reserved a room with four guests, but only 2 pairs of slippers were in the room. Took a long time for the ordered food to arrive. Other than that, room is clean and location is easily accessible.
