Reviews
Guests consistently praise the Iroquois Hotel for its friendly and helpful staff, central location, and clean rooms. The complimentary breakfast is also a popular feature. However, some guests have noted that the rooms are small and there is a lack of in-room coffee and tea facilities.

Everything about this hotel was great. The staff was helpful. The location was excellent. The breakfasts were great. Anthony was very helpful in helping us plan our departure. I would 100% stay there again.
- 5/5
The staff were amazing, attentive, polite and just wonderful. The room was clean, comfy bed and pillows. Bathroom and shower was great. And refreshing, especially since NYC was having a heat wave. Reception provided bottles or water, complimentary. The bar was fun, and service and food delicious. We had breakfast each morning and it was amazing. You must try the multigrain bread. Fabulous! Overall 5/5 and we will gladly stay here again on our next NYC trip.

What an amazing hotel in a wonderful location! ALL the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The bed and linens were a delight. The Lantern's Keep bar was quaint and cozy with fabulous cocktails. Loved the breakfast. I'll keep spreading the word and hoping to return soon. Go Knicks!

Great breakfast, kindly staff and good location!

This is a small boutique hotel right near Times Square. It’s on a quiet street but right near all the fun things in NYC. The staff at the front desk are all attentive and helpful. The hotel is extremely clean, the cleaning staff are wonderful, and the free breakfast was amazing! I have nothing bad to say about this hotel.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay. The hotel was super clean, the location was perfect,. The front desk staff were absolutely fantastic. Friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. Thank you for arranging a taxi ride for us, it made our departure stress free. The room was spacious and the daily housekeeping kept everything spotless. We loved the bowl of fresh mandarins at the front desk:) We would definitely stay here again.

Checking out the receptionist did not trust me when I told him I didn’t have any drinks from the mini bar He doubted me Poor breakfast

Convenient location for theater.Nicely appointed room.

Loved our stay at the Iroquois. The hotel was easy walking distance to all the midtown attractions but was tucked away on a very quiet street. All staff were so friendly and helpful. Check in was quick and easy and all reception staff were so welcoming, always offering bottles of water. The included breakfast was a nice addition and although the restaurant is small, we got a table almost straight away at all different times. The room was spotless and well appointed. We had a room with 2 double beds and they were comfortable with a nice selection of pillows from soft to firm to choose from. The shower was lovely and powerful with plenty of hot water and the room itself was bigger than I had expected based on what I’d read about New York hotels. If I’m lucky enough to revisit New York, I will definitely be staying here again.

While this hotel is great and we would stay here again without hesitation, the true highlight of this property is its exceptional staff. They are incredibly hospitable, helpful, knowledgeable, and simply great! Thank you Anthony (front) and Jack (lounge), you were awesome!
- 5/5
This is an old hotel with small rooms and old bathrooms, but it is well maintained. The food and beverage offerings onsite are excellent. The prepaid breakfast is very well done and was a highlight for our family each day to plan our day. The separate bar was a nice place to plan the evening. Would gladly stay again.

Definitively the Staff
- 3/5
Great location, good value for what you receive, the staff aims to please and although we had a couple of issues, they always helped to remedy. The best part is staying in a historic hotel. They offer complementary breakfast vouchers for those who may feel that this is important.
- 5/5
Staff, cleanliness, atmosphere Breakfast area seemed a little disorganized, and food was not good. This is the biggest area of improvement your team needs to make.

The hotel was beautiful, clean, convenient. The staff was top notch with over the top customer service. We enjoyed every second of our stay and will definitely stay at The Iroquois next time we are in New York!

The staff was wonderful.
- 4.5/5
A beautiful hotel in the most fantastic location. Staff are friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Mixed experiences with breakfast, the food is great, but menu limited if you have the vouchers, and service is added without question, when on the first two days it wasn't great. But overall, a wonderful hotel and we would return if we visit NYC again. Breakfast staff varied from very grumpy to absolutely delightful.
- 5/5
Staff were super helpful. Great location to see Times Square and all the theaters.
- 4.5/5
Great location, super comfy beds, helpful & attentive staff. Breakfast is great. Plenty of character & charm. Not a significant negative but small sitting area. You won’t need to use that much as you’ll be too busy & guessing all hotels very similar.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay. The room was always clean and well maintained. The location was excellent. Everything was comfortable and exactly as described. We would highly recommend this place and would be happy to stay here again.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly. Wish room was a big larger and had a mini-fridge (to put things in not just hotel selling drinks) / coffee maker. I think those two things would have made a difference.
- 5/5
Our stay was very pleasant! Staff was super friendly, and helpful. Great location and the ambience of the hotel was great. Definitely staying here again.
- 5/5
We loved our stay at this hotel. Lovely restaurant and bar. Which can become lively. Staff super helpful. Cleaning service excellent. Room small but clean new and the bathroom was beautiful with plenty towels. Gave you bathrobes. Refrigerator stocked with a cost. We will be back

The property is charming, rooms were clean and nice. We had breakfast vouchers which we used some mornings. The food was good. I loved the location, close to everything, including the subway and Bryant Park.

Great clean, confortable and conveniently located! Breakfast was nice!
- 1.5/5
Location is perfect and the room was spotless clean. The room (deluxe) was tiny and super dark; in the bathroom even Harry Potter would feel claustrophobic. The brearkfest was abysmal. But the most unpleasant experience was how they handled the payment. A week from my stay my cc is still pre-authorised for an additional amount of what they alreadycharged.I specifically asked if this is what might happen (so whether instead of using the existing pre-authorisarion, they will make a new charge) and I was told no.

Very elegant small hotel with nice vibe. I asked for a quiet room and was accommodated.

Good location, nice staff, average breakfast, clean room
- 5/5
I stay in this hotel regularly when in NYC. I appreciate the quality of the hotel, the decor, the service and the breakfast.
- 3/5
Booked a room here last-minute after an Amtrak outage. It was around $600 for what felt like a converted walk-in closet with ugly carpet and fixtures and peeling wallpaper. Nasty.
- 3/5
The hotel was close to a lot of things we wanted to go see that was convenient I know things are expensive in NY but at the bar in the hotel we paid 35$ for a vodka and soda! I guess there are a lot of different hotels in NY and I guess I will research a little better 2100$ for 3 nights and for what we got I don’t think it was worth it Staff were very nice though so all in all it was ok

Great location, excellent room and the inclusion of breakfast was a perk!
- 5/5
The hotel has such timeless charm, elegance, and warmth, but what truly makes it exceptional is the staff. The team has a way of making guests feel genuinely welcomed, cared for, and remembered. Their hospitality feels personal, polished, and sincere; the kind of service that makes a hotel feel like a home away from home. Anthony, Fazia, Daniel J., Paulisha, Bruno, and the entire team are a true reflection of what makes The Iroquois so special. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail are felt throughout the stay and make every visit memorable. The new breakfast service included with your stay is also a wonderful addition. It adds an extra layer of comfort and convenience, and it starts the day in such a thoughtful way. Having breakfast included makes the experience feel even more welcoming and complete. Thank you to the staff at The Iroquois for continuing to make each stay so special. It is the people, the care, and the gracious hospitality that keep us coming back. When your young child repeatedly picks The Iroquois for her go to NYC stay - you are doing something right! Always a returning guest, Sufia

The room was clean and comfortable. Also very quiet which I love when I'm staying in a hotel.

Location, Staff, Restaurant, Amenities- all great!
- 5/5
A very comfortable hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is quiet and cozy, beds are exceptionally comfortable. Great walkable location close to restaurants and theaters. Bryant Park is a gem and only 10 minutes away.
- 5/5
Absolutely ideal location in the theater district. The hotel lobby and the rooms are charming, a little bit funky (in a good way) and don’t have a “chain hotel” vibe. An excellent, non-buffet breakfast was included at a delightful restaurant that is immediately proximate to the lobby. The staff were warm, helpful, receptive, and personable. I would be delighted to stay here again.

Wonderful time. Hotel was worth the visit.
- 5/5
Great location, generous sized room which was very clean, friendly helpful staff. Lovely breakfast (ours was included in price so there were about 4 options to choose from menu).
- 5/5
The location is perfect, and so (nearly) is the hotel. Our Chrysler View room was large and had a stunning city view. The two bars were fab and breakfast is great: such a good range that we didn’t explore diners nearly as much as we thought we’d have to! (Though I also recommend John’s Coffee Shop.) The gym is small but well-equipped and staff throughout the hotel were friendly and efficient. The only two minor complaints are that the shower can take ages to warm up, and that our minibar had three half-eaten items left in it on arrival. But those are nitpicking gripes on a hotel I really recommend: it’s good value and really helped towards a magical holiday.

The staff was incredibly welcoming throughout the hotel, from the lobby to the breakfast area and bar. The location was perfect. As I am Shomer Shabbat, the staff kindly assisted me during Shabbat with entering and exiting the room and using the elevator without needing to touch electronics. Their kindness and understanding meant a great deal to me. Breakfast was delicious and so dinner at the bar area. Nothing at all. Everything was wonderful.

I had an overall pleasant stay in New York. The reception staff were always extremely kind, attentive, and very helpful throughout my stay. The room was comfortable, the bed was excellent and very cozy, and the bar staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Excelent location close to 5th street , museums, central park. However, I believe the breakfast service still needs significant improvement. During busy mornings, the staff often seemed overwhelmed, orders were mixed up or delayed, and the service became confusing. As a solo traveler, this sometimes made me feel uncomfortable, especially when I was told there were no available tables and that I should sit at the counter, while I personally prefer sitting at a table to enjoy breakfast calmly. On one occasion, my order was forgotten, the coffee became cold while I waited, and the overall experience was disappointing. After that, I felt the service became even less welcoming. If something arrived incorrectly, correcting the order would usually take a long time, which again meant cold coffee and a frustrating breakfast experience. Another point worth mentioning is that the included breakfast had only three basic options. If guests wanted fruit, sandwiches, or other items, there was an additional charge. Despite the breakfast issues, I would still highlight the excellent reception team, the comfort of the hotel, and the kindness of the bar staff. The breakfast experience was terrible. Location is near perfect for my work in Midtown. It’s away from the bustle of Broadway but easy access to rehearsal spaces in Hell's Kitchen and the theaters are a walkable distance or I can hop in a train. The rooms are a bit small like most hotels in town, but the quality of the hotel is high enough that it doesn’t matter if I’m only there for a few nights.

I'm editing my review and raising my rating by one star due to the professional approach of Kelli Phillips, General Manager. She contacted me immediately after the review was published. I'm glad that constructive criticism helps improve a hotel's services. I believe that whatever was bothering us will be (or already is) resolved. We were at the hotel at the beginning of April. For a 10-day stay, we can give the hotel a reliable rating. Friendly service at the front desk, good housekeeping, and very friendly housekeeping staff who were able to accommodate our presence in the room. Nice, thick bathrobes. A nice gift from the hotel on arrival. Bottled water was readily available at the front desk at any time. The hotel's greatest asset is its location, as it's right in the heart of Manhattan but fortunately not in the heart of Times Square. Our room faced the courtyard, and although it overlooked another wall and windows, it was truly quiet. The hotel has two elevators, and they always worked quickly and efficiently. The Lantern's Keep bar is surprisingly nicely designed, with friendly service and good cocktails. Our room was small, and we knew it. However, the bathroom door was poorly placed. It had to be kept closed at all times to function. The rest of the room was okay, although the furniture is old and worn. For such a long stay, we decided that the lack of daylight was another drawback. A dark room is fine for two or three days. We had a mandatory breakfast, which we were dissatisfied with and only ate a few times. This was the main reason for our dissatisfaction and the lower rating for the hotel. We learned from the manager mentioned earlier that during our stay, the hotel was undergoing a major change in its breakfast offerings, and we were caught in a transitional period that wasn't easy for either the guests or the hotel itself. I understand the situation; it can happen anywhere. Management recognized the problem and promised to improve.

Check in was bumpy as my room was not ready at 3:00pm and I had dinner reservations at 4:45 as we were going to a Broadway show. They forgot to give me breakfast vouchers which was awkward the next morning. However, the breakfast was delicious and the breakfast staff could not have been more accommodating. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are very nice. In addition, the location is perfect and the block is very quiet.

The front desk and/or concierge was EXCEPTIONAL, by far. They always had the right answer for everything. When I noticed that there was no ice machine on my floor, I called the front desk, and the person who answered the in-house phone said that they would send someone up to my room to retrieve the bucket and get ice accordingly. THEN, when I asked late at night where I could get a full-on, late-night meal, the front-desk guy personally looked up 3-4 places that could deliver to the hotel. . . mind you, this was already about 11:30 at night. He and I found a diner -- in Chinatown, no less -- and got me my burger with fries. Also, when I just wanted to go downstairs myself -- in my nightie and bathrobe -- to get yet another bucket of ice, I just took my bucket and hung out with the front desk guys late at night, while one of them got the ice. And as I went on my merry way up to my room, he said, "Y'know, you could've called us and we would've given you the bucket." And I acknowledged that, but I just wanted to snoop around after hours and just check out the lobby when no one was there. As you probably noticed, the Iroquois Hotel is a high-end boutique hotel, so the staff is VERY accommodating and friendly. I would give everyone -- including the day staff -- a 10 out of 10. Every request that I threw at Iroquois' staff was met with a smile and/or a genuine laugh. The people who work at the Iroquois really know how to make EVERY GUEST feel like they're VIP. Keep up the good work, guys (and gals, too). The front desk guys, I want to say that one of them was named Brice, were ON IT. They catered to all the clientele with style and charm. Also, the gals who worked the breakfast room were funny, and they got out those breakfast sandwiches so quickly, I had the food on my bar table as soon as I got a pastry and a coffee! Talk about efficient! They wasted no time. . . I love New York.

Comfortable bed and room. Great location - close to Times Square, Grand central station, Bryant Park & NYC public library with lovely views of NYC buildings. Nice cosy front office reading & waiting rooms. Staff were very helpful. Having to queue for breakfast, which had very limited small options and coffee/juice.

It was a really good stay, definitely when I read the reviews I booked it bc everyone said Staff was so respectful, polite and helpful… all of them were right, every single one of them, 10 stars in service! I will stay with them in my future! Thank you
- 4/5
Great location and very good staff except for the taxi driver that took us from the hotel to the airport. This taxi driver was recommended by the hotel staff. He agreed to a fee and charged us more (some $15-20) which we found very inappropriate.

The hotel is excellent, really clean and comfortable. The room had a good size, we got a great welcome bag with nice things that we enjoyed a lot. All the staff are very kind and efficient. The feeling was that we were in a fancy hotel but the price was great for the localization. Breakfast could be better. The agreement with the restaurant is a great idea but the quality and option were a downside (not hotel's fault). We had a meny with 4 free options + tip over the price. So not 100% free. The options were okay, but the second day the toast had an old/burned oil taste. Beverages option were only apple or orange juice and coffee. They were good though.
- 5/5
Very convenient location.
- 4/5
Great hotel. Only complaint is that coffee pots are not available in the rooms and they don't serve coffee in the lobby until 7. That's not great for an earlier risers. Most other hotels that don't have coffee pots in the room standard can get you one by request. I was just surprised that they couldn't accommodate that here.
- 4/5
Service at breakfast was not great. Too few tables for the number of rooms and we had to keep asking for things like butter, milk, cutlery and coffee etc . We were there for my husband's 50th birthday. I'd notified the hotel in advanced but nothing special was done for him, not even a note in the hotel which was disappointing. The hotel is in an excellent location, close proximity to Times Square, Bryant Park and Empire State Building etc .
- 4/5
Great location. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable and we appreciated the use of the USB charging port in the clock for phone charging without the need for adaptors. Shower was warm enough and spacious with plenty of towels and towelling robes. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and the Doorman Carl was great. Only real downside was the dreadful breakfast which had been our primary reason to book. We had expected it to be so good having read reviews but the included breakfast menu was very limited with lots of extra options requiring a large extra cost. We received very poor service too with staff forgetting about us, bringing wrong things, forgetting items we’d asked for and serving almost raw eggs. Vile! Seriously Iroquois please up your game on the food and service for breakfast as it really spoiled what was otherwise a great stay.

Great location, other than that I had a frightening and horrific experience! I booked six nights after a promised free airport taxi, I informed the hotel of my late arrival and arrived at 5 a.m., where the driver demanded $140, The hotel was locked. I waited and knocked for 20 minutes in the middle of the night before a man claiming to be the hotel general manager opened the door, He was aggressive and abusive, denied any responsibility, and threatened to refuse check-in unless I paid, I had no choice, so I paid and felt cheated. In the morning, the hotel general manager was polite and professional and agreed to cancel my stay, which was a relief. The room was far worse than described on Booking.com, extremely small, and faced a dark alley. The entire experience was hostile and unreliable.
- 5/5
We stayed in an executive suite which consisted of two large rooms -- a sitting area with two chairs and a sofa bed and a king size bed room. The location was ideal for sightseeing and theaters and was surprisingly quiet. Breakfast was delicious with several hot options and fresh croissants. Breakfast was a little chaotic when lots of guests arrived at once. But the food was delicious and the waitstaff was very friendly and accomodating.
- 5/5
My favorite hotel in NYC. New restaurant is excellent and so nice to have right off the lobby. Outstanding breakfast menu. Staff is superb! Always so welcoming.
- 4/5
The room phone didn't work and the breakfast was poorly prepared
- 5/5
The beds (double-room) were very comfortable, and I appreciate that the mattresses have full-enclosure mattress protectors as many hotels don’t. The included breakfast was delicious and made fresh to order. All staff were attentive and friendly. Would definitely visit again.
- 4/5
We had a nice stay, but checking out we were told there was a $41 a day facilities charge that wasn't included in our payment through hotel.com. I've used hotels.com for years and don't recall such a thing. What is a facilities charge and was it legitimate?
- 4.5/5
Closet to all the tourists attractions. Breakfast was just okay… not enough selection.

- 5/5
The staff is absolutely delightful. Excellent location. Triumph hotels really deliver the New York experience with their decor and style
- 4.5/5
They switched to a formal sit down breakfast rather than their “grab n go” model. I was told that to go was still an option, but I got the impression from the (new?) staff that giving me something to go was more of a favor than an actual option. It’s also disappointing because the staff now have to handle the demands of all the guests dining in as well as those of the guests who could have easily helped themselves in the past. It just seems like this new model is making the staff’s job unnecessarily harder.
- 5/5
A stayed here several times it’s great for the theater. Breakfast is not a strong feature it was better in former setting. Noe excuse for running out of orange juice at 8am one day I didn’t get my egg bites.

Size, location, style, cleanliness Some of the staff are below par. New breakfast set up is disorganized, slow and the space is not suitable.
- 5/5
Lovely little boutique hotel in the heart of Manhattan which makes it easy to get around. Nice touches all throughout the Hotel …the continental breakfast is served hot & is certainly a treat. If you wish to avoid a large overcrowded hotel & stay in a historically rich building…this is the place.
- 5/5
Lovely small and quiet hotel minutes from the theater district. Cute breakfast served in the am by kind and helpful staff. Will definitely return.
- 5/5
Great staff, very friendly and accommodating.
- 5/5
A wonderful property with genuinely warm and attentive staff. The elevator layout was a bit awkward — it was easy to miss one opening on the far end — and my room had a few minor issues with non-functioning outlets and a bathroom mirror that wouldn’t light up. That said, the heated bathroom floor more than made up for it. A small luxury that really stood out!

Great location, comfy & quiet room, spotlessly clean. I wish the room had had an armchair

My wife and I had an excellent night at The Iroquois. The staff was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the atmosphere in The Lantern's Keep.

Super location for trains, shopping, theatre, museums. Friendly, responsive staff. Immaculate room.

Fantastic experience staying at this amazing property. Wonderful service from the minute you walk in the door till the moment you leave. The waitstaff were exceptional including Davie and Benjamin. We highly recommend this hotel for families and all types of guests.

I really enjoyed my stay. I got a very quiet room on an upper floor. Great bed! Very clean. Excellent location. Spa (basic but with basic work out room both good). Nice places to sit by lobby. This hotel can be pricey. I used Booking.com which provides an average daily price over your stay. One day was actually over my company's price requirement. Created a hassle with reimbursement. Most staff were very nice. Would enjoy some variations for breakfast. I skipped the main restaurant. Too expensive and there are so many places to dine.
- 5/5
Room was clean and location was great. The staff were top notch and the breakfast was wonderful! My new go to stay in NYC! Everything was PERFECT
- 5/5
Front desk staff is amazing. Room was beautiful!! Speakeasy was a great surprise. Beds were comfy. Loved loved loved the heated floor in bathroom. can't think of anything!
- 5/5
The room was comfortable and clean with a nice array of TV channels. The “grab and go” breakfast (which you can eat in the small bar) is delicious. The hotel location in midtown is excellent, close to Grand Central as well as metro and bus lines. I highly recommend a stay at this hotel.
- 5/5
Will definitely be back!
- 5/5
What a gem! Quiet, clean, friendly staff, and excellent breakfast.
- 3/5
The room itself wasn’t super clean (particularly the bathroom), however, and there weren’t enough towels for both my wife and me.
- 4/5
Fruit on our first morning was a excellent, but quality declined on subsequent days. Fresher fruit.
- 5/5
Will return. One of the nicest hotels near the theater, shopping, and dining. Staff friendly and fun!
- 4/5
Amazing front desk staff.......rooms are small but well designed. I've stayed here many times and my only complaint is that the sleeping room doors are paper thin, you hear everything in the hallways.......every word, loud.
- 4/5
The standout feature of the hotel is the staff. Every interaction—from check-in to housekeeping—was exceptional. The team was consistently attentive, warm, and genuinely helpful, creating a level of service that really elevated the stay. The location is also excellent—central and convenient for getting around Midtown while still feeling slightly tucked away from the busiest streets. The Italian restaurant is another highlight, serving wonderful food and easily one of the best meals I had during the trip. A few aspects didn’t quite meet expectations given the price. The rooms felt a bit underwhelming for a boutique hotel, the fitness facilities are quite small, and breakfast had a limited menu that didn’t change during the stay. That said, the outstanding staff, great location, and excellent restaurant make the Iroquois a place I would happily consider returning to.
- 5/5
This was a great hotel to stay at in Midtown Manhattan. It was within walking distance of a lot of NYC's attractions. The hotel itself was very nice and clean. It was decorated beautifully and the daily breakfast was top notch! The staff were very friendly and accommodating as well. I would stay here again in a New York minute LOL!
- 4.5/5
Nice location, quiet, good staff who were very helpful, nice bar in the back. Our room had a lovely peekaboo view of the Chrysler Building. The front bar was closed
- 3.5/5
I was surprised and grateful that we were upgraded from a king suite to a one bedroom suite. Also, the staff is very friendly. The hotel location is excellent as it is near many sites to visit. I was not too happy with the breakfast offered. I expected more of a buffet set up with eggs, breakfast meats, sweet items, etc. I had to use my breakfast voucher for either a sandwich or yogurt.
- 5/5
Nice modern rooms fairly large compared to what you get in Manhattan. I like the way the historic and the modern has been combined. Bathrooms are modern and in great condition. Amenities in the rooms great and with a great quality. Most of the places in the area invested in the hotel reception facilities but he the rooms remain filthy while in here is actually vice versa-as soon as you walk in from the corridor to the rooms you are actually and pleasantly wowed. Stuff is great

Location. Delicious breakfasts

Jay (manager) is the best, he makes you feel at home, & the entire staff is always ready to help secure whatever you need to get the most out of your trip. 9.8 easy.

This is a repeat stay for us. We've been coming to NYC in February for several years. The room is very nice, staff is friendly and very helpful, amenities are wonderful. We love that breakfast is included and it's very good. The happy hours are a nice treat. And, we especially like the tours given by Streetwise New York. These are free and so informative. Kudos to Patrick, our tour guide on Feb. 18, 2026.

For my first visit to NYC, the Iroquois did not disappoint! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms were clean and incredibly comfortable, and the location is perfect for exploring the city. What stood out most was the front desk team — they consistently went above and beyond to make me feel genuinely welcomed during my entire stay. I’ll definitely be back!

Great experience, helpful and informative staff. Rooms facing the street may be loud at night and morning. Same breakfast menu every morning. Close walking distance to multiple attractions. Safe, clean, comfortable beds and family friendly (except for the adult sex kit on top of the computer desk and art magazines showing naked pictures)great place to stay when celebrating a special occasion.

Staff was excellent from the door man at entry to the front desk staff, to the cafe staff. Everyone was super accommodating and kind. The hotel is gorgeous it’s sheek and elegant. Definitely a boutique hotel. The room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable. There was a mini bar but no mini fridge for guest. It a little tight for two med size suit cases. The king we stayed in had two large night stands with a big drawer and cubby. A small closet with plenty of hangers and a safe. A desk with a couple small drawers. They also have a dry sauna.. that I unfortunately didn’t use but would if I stayed again. I would absolutely stay again. It was a good location. The breakfast was included, it was nice food. The bar wasn’t open during my stay.

The room was spotless and well maintained. Dining was easy and delicious whether eating in, ordering to the room, or taking food to go. The location is outstanding, steps from Fifth Avenue, Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center, the Theatre District, and close to Grand Central and Central Park. A fantastic Midtown base with genuinely great service. The room was super clean and clearly well cared for. Housekeeping was thorough, and the space felt comfortable, elegant, and refreshed each day. Dining was another highlight. The food was excellent whether eating in the restaurant, ordering delivery to the room, or grabbing something to go. It made busy city days and late evenings incredibly easy. The location is ridiculously great. You are just steps from Fifth Avenue shopping, Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center, the Theatre District, and the New York Public Library. Grand Central Station and Central Park are an easy walk away as well. It is hard to imagine a more convenient Midtown base. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for outstanding service, spotless rooms, flexible dining options, and one of the best locations in New York City.

Highlight of this hotel was the location - very convenient. Reserved for 2 persons but hotel was prepared for 1 person - provided 1 pair of slippers, 1 robe, breakfast vouchers for 1 person, etc. We had to ask for these items items. Reservation included a bottle of wine, which was not offered, therefore had to ask staff for this. All in all, the experience did not meet expectations for a luxury boutique hotel.

Clean room, nice staff, great location and decent breakfast - mostly pastries and cereal. They also have made to order breakfast sandwiches and toast. But my first day they took away the sign early for the made to order breakfast so I didn’t know that was available. The room was okay but kind of small and the bathroom was very small. The heated floors are not available for all rooms. My room didn’t seem like the one I booked through Expedia and the price definitely didn’t match the room. Also the thermostat was tough to set at a good temp it was either freezing or too hot and it took forever for the room to heat. It was cold every night, one night it was freezing and the room wouldn’t heat. But the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Never used the gym or sauna. Bar was closed during my stay. Super close to Time Square and good restaurants nearby. I would stay again if the rate was good.

The Iroquois came recommended as a boutique hotel close to theaters. It was excellent and exceeded my expectations. Room was well appointed with just the right amount of style, but not overdone. Staff was helpful and gracious and always available. The bar served excellent drinks and the breakfast was well laid with plenty of options. Will stay there again next trip to NY.

What a lovely hotel! Such a welcoming, friendly and helpful group at reception. The hotel really felt like our home away from home. There is a restaurant on site and a cozy library to enjoy your coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. We stayed in a premium deluxe with a king size bed and it was perfect for the 5 days we stayed.

Breakfast menu was good. The staff in all areas of the hotel were friendly and efficient. A couple of suggestions for me would be an upgrade to the mattress in our room (felt worn/lumpy in spots) and the music in the bar area in the evening was not in keeping with the classy retro atmosphere.
- 5/5
Excellent staff and breakfast was quite good

Love this hotel. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Conveniently located within walking distance of Broadway. What stands out are the staff - Paulisha and Anthony at the front desk are particularly gracious; Ben in the breakfast restaurant is the greatest. I stay there enough that all the staff recognizes me which is so special. Customer service and customer experience get high marks!

The room cleaning lady was friendly and she took care of the whole floor like it was her own home. I’ve never seen my room so organized and taken care of. The breakfast was delicious and the man who runs it a saint. We had a lovely stay.

Everyone was nice and super friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is perfectly located shopping and theaters for shows. The room was compact, clean and well organized with plenty of plugs for recharging our technology.

This hotel may be the best I’ve stayed in here in NYC. Great location and lovely amenities/rooms. But what really stands out is the SERVICE. Every single employee was absolutely amazing. We have gone to NYC every Christmas season and yearly for over 10 years now. Highly recommend this place. I will 1000% be staying here again next year. Thank you Iroquois staff!!!
- 5/5
The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and professional. We had a wonderful quick Christmas trip into the city!
- 5/5
What a gem in the perfect spot in midtown. The staff were exceptional and breakfast was delicious and freshly made easy items to start out a fun day of exploring nearby hot spots! Blocks away from Times Square, Bryant Park and 5th Avenue favourites. My family loved the spot and the quiet block it was on in comparison to many busy streets surrounding it. Thank you for a great stay!
- 5/5
Amazing location, super friendly staff, very clean, but poor breakfast (limited options)
- 5/5
Service was phenomenal, as was the food and the room!
- 4/5
The rooms were small but the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was even smaller but appreciated the heated floor. Hot water was excellent but water pressure in the shower was weak. The breakfast and the bar could have used more variety. The breakfast room was small and very cramped, made it difficult to get up and down from the table. Service was a bit slow one morning and opened late another morning. The coffee was the best hotel coffee I've ever had. Doormen were friendly and helpful. Front desk staff were a bit dry.

Great Staff ! Very friendly and helpful
- 5/5
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Iroquois! The staff was kind and helpful. We especially liked the gentleman that worked the drinks area at breakfast. He was fun and remembered us when we would come down. I can’t remember his real name because we called him TC (his idea) since he was originally from Traverse City. The rooms were clean and well appointed. And more spacious than I expected for NYC. There were three of us in the room and we had enough space to not feel like we were tripping over each other constantly. Overall, a wonderful experience and we recommend and would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Continental breakfast with breakfast sandwhiches available to order.
- 5/5
Clean room. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is very good.
- 5/5
Wonderful stay
- 4/5
Great location Good facilities for dining & bars. No one to help with bags on arrival or departure at front of building with only stairs , no ramp. Otherwise all Staff were wonderful. Only complaint - for a deluxe room we had no tea or coffee making facilities in the room & our fridge was so ‘stocked’ we had no room to even put medication in
- 4/5
Only complaint was that the queen mattress was a bit worn out, made up for it with pillows!
- 5/5
Excellent hotel! Great rooms if small, attentive staff, bartender with helpful suggestions. Strongly recommend..
- 5/5
Quiet oasis in brilliant location. Super friendly staff.
- 3/5
Ben at the restaurant is fabulous!! Great personality and super knowledgeable about the city. Room was really small. No extra lock on the door and if you put something in the in room fridge, the sign says you will be charged $25. Not convenient. The bathroom was a little dingy. The included breakfast was great. Croissants, fruit, juices and coffee.
- 5/5
The breakfast was readily available every morning, without any wait time or delays, and it has scramble eggs and cheese sandwiches with or without bacon, great service and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff throughout the hotel was truly wonderful — warm, attentive, and absolutely gorgeous in the way they carry themselves professionally. Our rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well maintained. And of course, the location can’t be beat. Being in the heart of Midtown made it incredibly easy to walk everywhere we needed to go. We couldn’t have asked for a better hotel experience. Highly recommend The Iroquois and would definitely stay again!

First of all, i want to say that this is a very beautiful hotel, very clean, rooms are very nice and clean. Right in the center of every place i wanted to visit. Some of the staff were very nice and professional. But i want to share my experience as a black women staying there. Our first morning at the hotel, my friend and i planned to go for the Thanksgiving parade. I came to sit at the lobby to wait for her. When i came out of the elevator, i saw a gentleman, and i greeted him then i went in the room right in the front to sit. That was around 6:45 am. I was on the phone with my friend then the same gentleman came and asked me if i am a guess, i said yes. He proceeded to ask what is your room number, i said 1109, then he asked what is your name, then i said my last name and i asked him , didn't i just said good morning to you a minute ago when i came out of the elevator? He said yes then he proceeded to : i need to verify for sure that you are a guess here. Then lucky i had the room key with the small envelope it was in with the room number on it. So after showing him, that's when he said ok then walked away. No apologies. There were other people who came down after me who were different skin color that me and were not adked anything. That made me very angry and disappointed because i originally booked a different hotel but my convinced me to come with her there. Very disappointed. I was racially profiled. I believe if i were a different skin color it wouldn't happened.

Staff - especially front desk - is so accommodating. Room was comfortable and quiet. My favorite NY hotel.

Staff were very friendly. Complimentary breakfast was fabulous. Daily housekeeping. I was there for the NY marathon and there was take away breakfast starting at 3am, which I thought was so thoughtful. We will be back on our next visit to Nzy.
- 5/5
Front desk, lounge and breakfast service was all 5 stars. Location is outstanding. Only thing that prevents the hotel from being 5 stars is there is a bit of the old hotel smell in the rooms. Everything else is 5 stars. Rooms are huge for NYC. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Nice and quiet.
- 5/5
Excellent room, very spacious, very clean, loved the art deco style. The gentleman that ran the breakfast bar was a true delight, very warm and friendly. Amadu (sp) was also a great bar tender, mixing us cocktails at the end of a long day. Nothing was too much, and he really knows his stuff. All the staff were friendly, and attentive. We usually stay at big hotel chains, but wanted to try something different, more personal, and we werent disappointed. I'm sure we'll be back in the future!
- 5/5
The whole experience at the Iroquois was faultless, Ben the ‘breakfast host’ is a font of New York knowledge and steered us to a number of places we would have easily missed, he is reason enough to return. Thanks for an enjoyable stay. We’re already looking at coming back next year.
- 3/5
The staff was the best part of the experience. The breakfast was disappointing, and the VIP treatment was pretty minimal(subpar). Two blocks from Times Square, great location to walk to everything.
- 5/5
I really liked how close it was to everything the staff were amazing and went above and beyond. I felt very safe staying here and walking around would highly recommend. The only thing was the rooms were kind of smaller.
- 5/5
Stayed here for the past few years, and always have the best time! Love the staff and service. Will be back in a few months.
- 5/5
Clean and quiet room, friendly staff, and fabulous location. This is my go-to hotel whenever I’m visiting NYC.
- 5/5
Their remodel of the street facing bar and the breakfast area was very nicely done.
- 5/5
My favorite hotel. So close to theater. Nice neighborhood. Clean. Amazing staff - special kudos to J and Anthony at the front desk and Ben in the breakfast cafe
- 5/5
100% recommend
- 5/5
The lobby and room was very pretty and a great vibe. The staff were all super helpful and welcoming
- 4/5
Excellent staff
- 5/5
Very friendly staff - welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious, well appointed, and clean. We didn’t take advantage of breakfast, but enjoyed cocktails in the lobby bar and speakeasy. Nice selection and well executed. The hotel is nicely located within the theatre area, but just far enough from Times Square that it doesn’t feel chaotic the instant you walk out. Subway options are very close by, as well as plenty of eating choices. We really enjoyed our stay.
- 4/5
Great stay overall! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and I’d definitely stay here again. The only thing I’d recommend for future guests is to ask for a room further inside the building — it might be a little quieter and could even save you a few bucks. Overall, a solid choice and a pleasant experience.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful saty at this hotel. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to NYC.
- 5/5
Beautiful room
- 5/5
Staff was very welcoming and efficient
- 5/5
Def stay again! Boutique hotel in the heart of the city. Feel like you are in a NYC apartment vs hotel.
- 5/5
I was greeted and checked in right away. This was the smoothest check in, I’ve ever experienced. It was convenient to walking distance to whatever you needed. The gym was good. The breakfast was great. If I comeback to NYC this would definitely be my go to spot.
- 5/5
Great hotel! Took a family trip to NYC. Super impressed with service, a great free breakfast (hard to find in big cities), and quiet hallways! Great location as well - near shopping, easy walk to Broadway theaters and Times Square, but on a street that didn’t have a lot of foot traffic except for hotels and restaurants. Very friendly desk staff. Fabulous stay!
- 5/5
I have stayed here 3 times and keep coming back bc it’s on a quiet street but so close to great 5th avenue shopping and Central Park ( 10 min walk) and 2 blocks to Time Square
- 3/5
convenient location for Broadway shows, cozy hotel with small rooms but blinds didn't completely block out the light at night and were dusty. Breakfast was mediocre with mostly just croissants and bagels
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
We would stay again at the Iroquois. The location is tops. The room was comfortable at 250 sq ft. Good breakfast of croissants, fresh. fruit and a choice of oatmeal, breakfast sandwich or yoghurt or toast. Not a heavy meal, but very good.
- 5/5
Gracious staff, lovely room, spotless, very good breakfast buffet. We have been coming to this property for years. They do not disappoint! Very consistent! We will certainly return.
- 5/5
This place was amazing. They made celebrating our anniversary great with some goodies in our room. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was tasty and convenient. The hotel itself was conveniently placed as well. I did wish I found that we could request a mini fridge for our room sooner. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay for us!
- 5/5
Very clean hotel with friendly staff. We were offered early checkin which is great. The breakfast has changed a little bit. in the past i can get more sandwiches but it seems now it is restricted to only one. More beverage options are provided though which is nice. It would be nice if two pairs of slippers can be offered by default.
- 5/5
Concerned staff
- 4/5
Nice room, very small, but convenient to most of Manhattan 's sites.
- 5/5
We had a very lovely stay. Everyone was so nice and the hotel is in a great location. The rooms were comfortable for very quiet. We will definitely be back. This was one of the nicest hotel experiences and really added to a very fun trip!!
- 5/5
Great hotel - clean, comfortable beds, and great service! Amazing location - so easy to see and experience everything midtown has to offer!
- 5/5
Great staff
- 5/5
Loved it!!
- 5/5
What an absolutely wonderful stay at the hotel. We were greeted and given a thank goodie bag and upgraded because it was my boyfriend’s birthday. We had the best and most wonderful stay and I highly recommend it. We will be back and this will be our hotel in New York City!!
- 5/5
This was my first stay at the Iroquois (I am in NY often but usually do not stay in midtown) on a very last minute trip to NYC for work. I arrived insanely late at night and very frazzled and the front desk staff (Josh and another many I cannot recall name) were very nice to me and went above and beyond to get me settled in. Over my 4 night stay (I extended from original reservation) every person I dealt with there was very professional, nice, accommodating. their included breakfast was perfect and quick, the bar staff in the speak easy was lovely when I went for a glass of wine etc. My room was very clean and had a fan in the bathroom and the water pressure was good which is always my test of a hotel! Midtown great location for my needs on this trip - usually I avoid it but I have to say I liked this hotel so much it may have won me over from my usual places.
- 5/5
Great location I was meet by very nice staff. Definitely recommend
- 3/5
Tiny room, window looked into dark alley with no sunlight, other hotel room doors closing was a SLAM that rattled my room. But bed was comfy, happy hour was pleasant, gym was serviceable, sauna was great.
- 5/5
This hotel was perfect for our 3-night stay. Easy to get to from Grand Central. Walkable to local attractions. Very close to beautiful Bryant Park. Walking tour offered by hotel is recommended. All the staff was kind and helpful!
- 5/5
Hotel staff is fantastic and very attentive. Our room was extremely nice, it was a little on the small side, but that’s kinda normal for New York. The location is perfect. We were able to walk to 5th ave and Rockefeller center. Time square is only a couple blocks away. It felt very safe. Location makes or breaks a trip. I would definitely book again.
- 5/5
The Iroquois is always a great place to stay… A boutique hotel feel yet not impossible to get a room for decent price… Staff is always pleasant and helpful… Although I like to eat at the Brooklyn diner on 57th which is my favorite and highly recommend or 43rd, which is closer, the breakfast that’s included at the Iroquois is very delicious and convenient. Especially, if you’re on a budget… The iced coffee is as good as any in the city and it’s free… and don’t forget you’re right next-door to the red flame diner… Which is as budget friendly yet great… Make sure you sit at the counter. The manager is incredible… the bathrooms are great… And the beds are comfortable… Don’t worry about your view from the room because none of them really make a difference… The elevators are a little quirky but once you realize the button controls the one in front of you and the one down the hall at the same time it’s a lot easier to maneuver… the Iroquois never disappoints… You can’t go wrong staying in this hotel… Your wife, girlfriend, whomever you take will enjoy their stay… have fun!!!
- 5/5
Excellent hotel. I would stay there again. Close to subway. Rooms were clean. Staff was nice. Very centrally located for wherever you wanted to go in New York.
- 4/5
We were a little nervous about the location as there are so many different options to choose from, but rest assured the location was fantastic and a central location for all the major attractions. The hotel is relatively small compared to some of the other hotels nearby, but this also gives you a very personal service. From check-in to check out, the front desk staff were exceptional, extremely polite, attentive and no issue was too big. We stayed in room 904, a double room of a generous size and a fantastic bathroom with a bathtub. In my opinion, the only thing that lets this hotel down is it is breakfast. They offer a grab and go service which is great, however, if you would like a more relaxed breakfast feel, they do not offer this service in my opinion. with only a limited offer at breakfast i.e a hot sandwich (bacon and egg) which is clearly just microwaved upon order as it arrives within 30 seconds of ordering and not particularly fresh. They offer a great fresh fruit selection however all these are placed in individual plastic pots and not very eco-friendly. Overall, a fantastic hotel with some wonderful colleagues and the big question is always would you stay there again? Absolutely, I will be staying here again!
- 4/5
Nice smaller hotel walking distance to broadway and Times Square. Rooms on smaller side squeezing in our 2 kids. But all in all a Great base to explore NYC. Staff were great.
- 4/5
Well located and great staff
- 5/5
Great location, breakfast included
- 5/5
Great location, nice staff, breakfast every morning was very convenient. Elevators were a little slow. Rooms were quiet - no view, but was able to walk so many places, and close to subway. Would definitely book again for NYC.
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Convenient to midtown and Broadway theatres. Relatively quiet - truly soundproofed rooms. You can hear some street noise, but it’s New York City. Could not hear the family with young kids next door unless I was out in the hallway. Clean rooms and very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again!
- 5/5
I loved the mid town location, classy clubs next door. Extremely helpful staff, warm, welcoming. Will be our go to hotel in future
- 5/5
Clean, centrally located, and friendly staff!
- 5/5
The rooms are clean, the staff is always great and some of them were there 9 years ago when we discovered it. Definetly a hidden gem
- 5/5
Hotel was great, very clean. The gentleman at the bar at breakfast (wears glasses) was the most helpful and fun guy. He gave some great suggestions of things to do and one of them ended up being my son’s favourite part of the trip. We loved him. I would definitely stay here again
- 5/5
Excellent hotel! I will stay here again. Close to Broadway shows, shopping, restaurants, etc. Great breakfast included. Friendly, helpful staff. Adorable, quiet room with historical flair.
- 5/5
Great location. Hotel fabulous. Staff wonderful. Everything excellent and will return and also recommend 100%
- 5/5
Extremely clean, convenient and friendly. I would not change a thing!
- 5/5
A great location in the middle of Manhattan and unlike hotels closer to Times Square, it wasn’t an effort getting in and out of the hotel, will look to go back.
- 5/5
Nice room, friendly front desk and Lantern Keep Speakeasy was great!
- 5/5
Beautiful Hotel , with amazing deluxe rooms , and staff is a jewell , with Jay and Palisha at front desk , and Carlos the doorman . our stay was super ! thanks , we recommend this hotel , and will come here again
- 5/5
The longer I stayed there, the more I loved it. It's clean, the bed was great and a top notch shower head provided substantial water pressure. If I needed anything, the staff provided it immediately. Whoever cleaned and took care of the place did it with love. I saw a review that the person enjoyed their stay but felt it was a little dated. There's truth in that statement but it's in an era of elegance and quality and comfort.
- 3/5
I felt like I got Expedia service. A lot of hallway noise and was not able to sleep
- 5/5
VIP
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 5/5
The Iroquois is a nice hotel in a good location (Close but not too close to Time Square, 5th Ave, Empire State Building) in Manhattan. The property has a wine tasting from 5-6pm at the property and you get a free drink at the bar.
- 4/5
Clean nice room, New York old style design that I liked , step from Times Square The breakfast was big disappointment
- 5/5
Detail to customer service was great and consistent during my stay. Staff went out of their way to make my stay an enjoyable experience.
- 5/5
Clean and very friendly staff
- 5/5
We loved our stay at this boutique hotel. It’s perfectly located close to restaurants, shops, subway, theaters and parks. We will definitely return to the Iroquois the next time we go to NYC.
- 5/5
The room was surprisingly quiet. We were on the side with a peek-a-view of the Chrysler building. The bed was comfortable and the elevator was quiet and efficient. My opinion is that if you are in NYC for Broadway shows or Midtown work, this hotel will feel more personal than a larger chain, but less expensive than 5th Ave or Central Park. Don't hesitate to talk with the staff.
- 5/5
The breakfast was good. Everything tastes good, we enjoyed fresh fruit, hot cooked sandwiches and chocolate croissant and the tea bags are of good quality.
- 5/5
I have chosen this property for 20 years. It is safe, small, with personalized attention. The location cannot be beat. There are multiple subway stations nearby and plenty of dining options. It is less than a 20 minute walk to Central Park and less than a 20 minute walk to Chelsea Market which I love. The rooms are quiet and incredibly clean. The breakfast is decent (pastries, and prepared hot breakfast sandwiches), but the waitstaff is very welcoming so that makes up for it. I highly recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
My favorite NY hotel. Convenient to Broadway. Safe neighborhood. Outstanding staff!!!!!
- 5/5
Super fabulous hotel in every sense. I totally recommend it and I would definitely stay again! 100 stars!!!
- 5/5
We were in New York for an anniversary trip with a focus on seeing Broadway shows. We had several questions about the safety of the area late at night (it was safe), restaurant recommendations for after or between shows, and general sightseeing questions. The staff was very knowledgeable, very friendly, and helpful with absolutely everything we needed. When we come to New York again this is absolutely the place we will stay!
- 5/5
- 5/5
Overall great clean rooms location was perfectly placed everything is right in walking distance
- 5/5
The doorman met me at the door, stored my bags, and told me where to park. Check in was pleasant and helpful, and the room surprisingly large and quiet. The 'barkeep' at breakfast went out of his way to help anyone who asked for suggestions or directions. The bar in the back is the best kept secret in Manhattan, with the bartender verging on mad-scientist level knowledge of cocktails - kind, efficient, made delicious cocktails. Every person I interacted with was kind and helpful. Superior location, amenities, and staff.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay at The Iroquois. The rooms were very clean. There was a choice of a few warm sandwiches, oatmeal or granola as well as juices, croissants, fruit and coffee for breakfast. The people working at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. The location was close enough to the action but not right in the middle of it. We plan on staying at The Iroquois again!
- 5/5
Other than one elevator being out for most of our stay (there are only 2, so there was usually a line) we really enjoyed the Iroquois and would stay here again. The location is great if you want to be close to Times Square without actually being in it. Safe and quiet side street with a close Whole Foods and Bryant Park station nearby. The breakfast was small, yet delicious and the staff were a delight. Room was dark and cold and housekeeping was on point. Extra towels, hangers, mattress topper, and even a mini fridge were promptly delivered when asked. Nicely sized lobby bar and Lantern’s Keep was convenient for a quick pre-theater bite.
- 4/5
Smaller rooms but very comfortable. Would stay there again. Staff very nice. Liked the breakfast included!
- 5/5
Hotel was great. Staff was accommodating.
- 5/5
We would stay here again. Went to see a show at Radio City and it was very walkablento everything. Staff was great. We arrived around 12:00 and our room was ready for an early checkin. Room was clean and comfortable and just a cool, historic vibe to the hotel. Breakfast was good. Had a drink in the lobby, which was a great way to start the evening. After checkout they held the bags for a few additional hours and there's a parking garage right across the street. We'd definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
We chose this hotel because of its location! Walking distance to Broadway, Times Square, Bryant Park, Cebtral Park, etc, plus close proximity to the subway if we wanted it! The people were very nice! They also have free walking tours offered, and we did the architecture one. We would stay here again!
- 5/5
Everything was EXCEPTIONAL !!!
- 5/5
This small hotel was beautiful and very classy. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful from late night to early morning. Bed was very comfortable. Location is walkable and also close to train, subway and bus stops.
- 5/5
Breakfast options were great really tasty and a great start to the day and my god the beds the beds so so and I mean so comfy and rooms well sound proofed so quiet got a great nights sleep love this place so handy to a lot of attractions highly recommend 😎
- 5/5
The front desk staff were amazingly helpful and nice. Mariana of housekeeping too was a gem.
- 5/5
We enjoyed staying at the Iroquois very much. It's now one of our favorite NYC hotels.
- 5/5
Breakfast was excellent - fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, hot baked breakfast sandwiches, toast variety.
- 5/5
Everything about the hotel is convenient. It’s a well-cared for property with excellent staff. My only wish was a Keurig or a hot pot to make coffee in the room. Linens were fresh, bed comfortable, bathroom clean and well-appointed. Very reasonably priced for location.
- 5/5
Super staff. Free bottles of water. Free walking tour. Nice room and charming bathroom. Great location.
- 5/5
Very convenient location
- 5/5
I love the hotel . Good location , near to Times Square, 5th avenue, Grand Central Station and main metrô stations. Clean and kind staff
- 5/5
What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional customer service. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and always smiling, making us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed with a touch of classic New York charm. Comfortable beds, quiet atmosphere, and everything you need for a relaxing stay in the city. Highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a cozy, elegant stay right in the heart of Manhattan. Will definitely come back!
- 5/5
Beautifully renovated hotel! Done very stylishly and in excellent taste. The rooms are comfortable and spacious as well as aesthetically pleasing. The amenities are great. We will definitely return!!

Outstanding and friendly service made our stay special. Great location close to Broadway and Grand Central but still quiet at night. Great coffee and nice breakfast. Will be back again. Bryant Park 2 blocks away.
- 5/5
The service was absolutely amazing, they were very attentive and professional. The breakfasts were also quite delicious
- 5/5
Our stay at The Iroquois was an excellent choice. The staff were all so friendly and the complimentary breakfast was a huge plus. The rooms were very clean. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone. Another plus was we felt like the hotel was center to many things.
- 5/5
Great staff and location. Highly recommend
- 5/5
From the moment we checked in my daughter and I knew we made the right choice! The people here are simply incredible. The individual who checked us in was vibrant and welcoming! The person who was at the front desk this evening was equally as wonderful and accommodating! The room is spacious and the location perfect for the theater district!! We will absolutely be back.
- 4/5
Great location
- 5/5
Fantastic property that is convenient & safe. The staff is wonderful and always ready to help when in need. Highly recommended!
- 5/5
We love this property! It’s our second time staying here and is the only place we’ll stay from now on. Super clean, comfortable luxurious beds, fabulous staff, free water and breakfast and close to everything!
- 2/5
I rarely write hotel reviews but couldn't resist this opportunity. The hotel is beautiful and the located is perfect. The front desk staff were friendly and professional. The evening I stayed over - I left the hotel at 5pm returning at 11pm. Upon entering my room, I noticed the blinds were closed; new clothes I had purchased that afternoon were neatly laid out on my bed where I left them; chocolates placed by my pillows; the shopping bag moved to the dresser from the bed - and placed next to my wallet and other personal items.- which were exactly where I left them. I realized right away that housekeeping entered my room to turn down my room. However, I never gave my permission or my directive to the front desk. I called the desk and was told that my concern will be shared with management. I asked if this was normal protocol for this hotel - but was not given an exact answer. Upon check-out, the next day - I didn't have time to speak to a manager nor did anyone follow up with me prior to my deoarture anyway. Upon my way home, I called the hotel and asked to speak to a manager. "Jay" - the manager - apologized, but said that this indeed is protocol. I told him that I appreciate the gesture, but didn't give permission to have my room tidied up. He said many hotels in the city do this. I disagreed, having stayed in numerous hotels in NYC not to mention around the world. I also told him that it if it was during the day, I would have stored my valuables in the safe.
- 5/5
I've stayed in this hotel many times and I keep coming back because I love it. I like its convenient location, exquisite art deco decoration & cleanliness. The rooms are well kept, with a comfortable bathroom, good towels and bed. Windows have very good blackouts that let you sleep in total darkness. Their continental breakfast is perfect for what I like eat in the mornings and the lobby bar is also nice.
- 5/5
Please extend our appreciation to them—as always, they made a lasting impression.
- 5/5
The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfasts were plentiful.
- 5/5
The reception staff were so friendly and the location of the property was so perfect for our weekend adventure!

- 5/5
Wonderful staff and services !
- 5/5
Wonderful staff
- 5/5
And the Speakeasy was amazing drinks and the bartender.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly upon checking in and leaving. . Front desk staff could be more knowledgeable about questions that people would ask when coming there. The grounds engineer was very sweet. Sunday morning staff for breakfast was a different story. The coffee was not good at all. A carafe that the man behind the counter was holding shattered all over everything, including my friend and his answer to everything was. “I’m so sorry” in the most arrogant tone. I would stay here again just because it’s beautiful, clean and safe but I would not set foot in the dining area.
