An excellent choice for our stay in NYC. Great customer service. We loved the hotel ambience and the location was close to Bryant Park and the theaters. We will definitely visit again and recommend to our friends.

Most of the amenities were not accessible due to construction which you don’t find out about until you’re there.

Our stay at The Chatwal, The Unbound Collection by Hyatt was absolutely outstanding this is truly where luxury meets comfort and service. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The level of attention to detail was incredible even having a butler who ironed our dresses made us feel genuinely cared for. Here, you truly get what you pay for. Our suite was spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained, offering a peaceful retreat after long days in the city. Customer service across the entire hotel was exceptional. A special mention goes to Michael the bellman, who consistently went above and beyond. He always greeted us with a friendly smile, opened doors, assisted us promptly, and made sure we were taken care of at all times. The restaurant was amazing every dish was outstanding and truly felt out of this world. The overall environment of the hotel was not only immaculately clean, but also beautifully decorated, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. After all the walking around the city, the indoor heated pool and hot tub were exactly what we needed a perfect way to unwind and recharge. Room was awful. Worst NYC room ive stayed in and the cost was egregious relative to room. For 1k, the room and hotel should have been much nicer. Definitely not a 5 star property. Closer to 3 star with 5 star cost

The Chatwal made our fantasy weekend in NYC even more fantastical. Perfect location. Lovely lobby and bar. Gorgeous room with motorized drapes, a Full Service Toilet(!) and a big shower. If you can splurge, this is the hotel to book.

This is my second stay at this property and I will continue to return due to the top-notch service and super convenient location. Everyone from doormen to front desk are super friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the middle of everything being in Times Square, but you wouldn’t know it from inside the hotel where it’s safe, quiet and calm.

Kept being locked out of room with keys not working. Someone went into the room, even though we had the privacy button on and lights were turned on.

When I arrived to this hotel in New York, it was so cute. I love the room and I love the showers. I love the spa area. The only thing was the swimming pool you could not use after hours. Everything else was excellent very safe.

Great spot if you are going to shows or using a base to see all the attractions of New York. Less than a block from Time Square and easy walk to subway to get around where you need to go.

Disappointing. I would not consider this hotel on par with NYC 5 star hotels. While there, the A/C in the entire hotel was not working well. Of course hotel staff never mentioned this until we complained, after which they offered us a fan. It was 98 degrees in NYC and the room felt wet it was so hot and humid. Additionally, the images online are misleading — rooms look much larger, pool looks larger, etc. The rooms were small, this is NYC I get it but images are deceiving. We did a 2 bed room and the beds are doubles, not queen sized. Further, I purchased some yogurt and fresh pressed green juice for my family, put in the mini fridge and the next day they were warm, I guess the fridge just stopped cooling. There goes $50. Ugh. Finally, the hotel location is convenient to time square, but the street cannot be turned on from 7th Ave. so any Ubers, taxis, etc had to make a massive loop to pick us up and it caused the Ubers to continue to cancel on us. I would not stay here again, for the price there much better options in NYC.

After issues with our first room we were moved, unfortunately the new room had a connecting door which meant we could hear the room next door. Overall for its location and staff friendliness, the hotel was good.

Overall a wonderful experience from start to finish. Lovely room, friendly and helpful staff, quiet rooms even though half a block from Times Square- everything was wonderful. Would highly recommend.

This was a beautiful hotel and the perfect spot for our NYC trip! We went to the 100th sold out show of the Billy Joel concert at Madison Square Garden and dinner, no more than 15 min in a taxi! And, 2 Broadway shows, also walkable! The bellman was always kind and hailed us a taxi and the rooms were gorgeous with a heated toilet seat as the bonus! We will be back!

This hotel is absolutely premium, the accommodations, and the staff are the highest quality. The room was set up and supplied with everything I might have forgotten what I will do differently next time is book a room overlooking the city I did not have this when I stayed, and my room felt like I was in an inside cabin of a cruise ship, instead of having a balcony

PERFECT HOTEL NEAR BUT NOT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE THEATER DISTRICT. STAFF WAS INCREDIBLY HELPFUL, PERSONAL, REMEMBERED OUR NAMES. LAMBS CLUB RESTAURANT IN THE HOTEL IS EXCEPTIONAL.

PERFECT HOTEL NEAR BUT NOT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE THEATER DISTRICT. STAFF WAS INCREDIBLY HELPFUL, PERSONAL, REMEMBERED OUR NAMES. LAMBS CLUB RESTAURANT IN THE HOTEL IS EXCEPTIONAL.

Great location (walked almost everywhere we went) and friendly staff! Room service included the best cheeseburger I have ever tasted anywhere! Very comfortable bed and bedding and a wonderful waterfall shower.

I have stayed at several NY hotels and this was by far the best one yet. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing! They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting. Walking distance to several main attractions.

They claim to have guaranteed check-in by 4:00pm, however, they do not. We arrived approximately one hour early hoping we could check in early. They told us our room was not ready but were guaranteed to be checked in by 4:00pm. Our room was not ready until 4:20pm and we had to change and get ready for a reservation.

room was a little bit smaller than i expected but enjoyed the toilet extras and the candy. did not care for the chocolate cranberries too much. nice shower and shampoo, etc. delicious breakfast.

Excellent hotel. Perfect location in the theater district just minutes away from most major broadway shows. Able to walk everywhere. Central Park was about a 20 to 25 minute easy walk restaurant is pricey, but excellent food. Well worth the cost. Concierge is amazing and customer service is amazing.

Staff was absolutely amazing, very nice sized room and amenities were excellent. Unique touches from fresh flowers, fruit and chocolates unmatched especially for hotels in the midtown area. Staff was excellent, Michael and Alfonso went beyond to deliver an exceptional experience.

Solid boutique hotel. Rating would have been higher but for the Lambs food quality. Not at all on par for a 5-star hotel. But overall great hotel.

The Bellboys were excellent, always friendly and helpful. The Spa was disappointing because on the day we wanted to use it it was closed. In the Spa there isn’t a sauna or steam room and also on the same day it was frustrating not to have any staff in the Spa area to ask about the facilities.

It’s absolutely beautiful.

hotel was clean, friendly staff, very comfy bed/bedding, had nice luxurious touches in room, and is centrally located to lots of attractions (theaters, shopping, central park, bryant park). would definitely stay again!
