    Staff wonderful and super helpful highlights to Debbie at the front desk. Minor issues as elevator system change underway, in-room maintenance : faucet, clogged sink and shower as well as broken toilet flush could be anticipated with more careful maintenance program!     Good beds, great service. Only issues is it is very crowded, but more importantly: - Gift shop for water or anything else is WAY overpriced and you can't charge to room. - No Marriott lounge. Again, you know what you are getting, just didn't think earplugs at the Gift shop ( crappy little ones ) would be $8.50 each; and small water bottle would be $6.00.

    The main thing to note is that this is a Marriott property that sells rooms at significantly discounted rates through third-party booking sites compared to booking directly with Marriott. However, when booking through these channels, many standard Marriott benefits are disabled by default, including complimentary internet access, mobile key, and other app-based conveniences. While you can check out through the Marriott app, registration still requires standing in line at the front desk, and those lines can become quite long. The hotel also charges a mandatory destination fee of $35 plus tax per day. The fee can be used as a credit at the hotel's cafes and restaurants, but any unused portion is forfeited. As a result, this often creates long lines at Starbucks and other on-site dining locations. Unfortunately, this fee is not clearly disclosed when booking through Expedia and can be easy to overlook during the reservation process.

    They had given our room away which was completely paid for and after a 6 hour flight and with a 13 year old we were exhausted. They found an empty room for us for the night and the next day Rachael at the front desk was exception in getting us settled for the remainder of our stay.

    Hotel well located for those wanting to attend theatres. Easy walking distance to Times Square, Central Park and Carnegie Hall. Property very clean. Room comfortable with daily housekeeping, which seems to be a luxury these days. You are charged $35 dollars per day which can be used towards Starbucks purchases but mainly seems to be a way to get you to go to the overpriced breakfast buffet. At $38 per person it is not worth it. Starbucks/Grab and Go line is very long and moves slowly. You are better off going to one of the nearby diners. One great disappointment to us was that despite arriving later than planned due to a plane delay (we arrived at 1 am) we had to wait while they "cleaned a room" for us. Our only compensation was an offer of some Marriot points which we have yet to receive.

    Good place to stay in Midtown. Busy hotel, so plan to wait a bit to check in, but the staff was helpful. Room was comfortable. Shower was awesome and perfect for after a day of walking around Manhattan. Close to Central Park, Times Square, and Broadway theaters.

    Outdated hotel, where they just try to make money of everything. The restaurant doesn't exist,just bar with few options like pizza and burger. I can't believe they have four stars. They pretend to offer loyalty but option are reduced to nothing.That is after spending 3k in the place .

    la habitacion no estaba lista al momento de llegar. nos mandaron a dejar las valijas en deposito y los cobraron 6 dolares por cada maleta (eran 4), pero igual nos habian ya realizado el check in tomando nuestra tarjeta de credito y nuestros pasaportes. Por eso considero abusivo que nos hayan cobrado 24 dolares por dejar las maletas en deposito hasta que nos dieran la habitacion .     We received a 35 dollar per room restaurant credit but as we were only staying one night we wanted to use it the next morning for breakfast. When we requested this the next morning the receptionist refused and checked us out immediately. Also charging for luggage storage is something I have never experienced in all my travels.

    The facility is very old and lack of maintenance. The bathtub does not drain well, felt like taking shower in a little stream. The door lock was partially missing. And sink was so shallow that after washing face my pants were all wet. Will not stay there for sure.

    Możesz opublikować taką recenzję: The location of this hotel is excellent! It is within walking distance of Times Square and Central Park, and there is a subway station right next to the hotel. I highly recommend the location – it is definitely the biggest advantage of staying here. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. There are many other hotels in the area, and next time I will definitely choose a different one. The elevator management system is beyond criticism. It is unacceptable to wait 30 minutes for an elevator while other elevators arrive completely empty, but you are unable to use them because your floor is assigned to a different elevator. This system seriously affected our stay. The front desk staff were only moderately polite and not particularly helpful. The concierge also provided misleading information. We planned to use the complimentary bicycle rental, only to find out that all tickets for the day had already been distributed by 7:00 a.m. No one informed us that availability was limited. The biggest disappointment, however, involved our room reservations. We booked two rooms for our large family two months in advance and specifically requested that the rooms be located next to each other. I even followed up by email to confirm this request. Two days before arrival, I called the hotel and was assured everything had been arranged. Upon arrival, we discovered that the rooms were not even close to each other—they were separated by 20 floors. For a family traveling together, this was extremely frustrating and completely unacceptable. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.

    For the price of the hotel I honestly feel it could be renovated. The rooms need TLC, especially the the shower tiles. Location was great but that pretty much was the best part of the stay. Our room was hot and when we called to ask about the AC it was mentioned that there is always issues with the AC so they brought us a box fan.

    Staff was all amazing and extremely kind. The property needs some love though. Leaky bathroom in a few ways (sink and toilet). One day all the main elevators to our floor were out all day…walked down 28 flights of stairs to get out and then to get back up we were able to take the service elevators which somehow didn’t go to floor 28 (at least only one flight of stairs to get to our room this time lol). Rooms are outdated and worn. Location is excellent though. All around decent stay but cost felt high for status/condition of the property (especially rooms) compared to my previous stays at other (more upscale) locations in NYC.

    The hotel is beautiful, and our room was very spacious. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The elevators were efficient, even for high floors. They give you a credit of your resort fee for use on a daily basis in the restaurant at the hotel however, the restaurant on weekend evenings is very busy and was understaffed. Being able to use the credit for Starbucks was very nice. Would stay there again for sure! Location was perfect for getting to all of the trains and midtown attractions. Cleanliness of bathroom upon check-in was not great, and could provide more shampoos and maybe add body wash. Cleanliness on subsequent days was improved.

    Our room was not clean upon arrival. Our sheets were dirty and there was mold in the ceiling in my shower. I was disappointed to say the least. The staff provided vouchers for breakfast one morning and I felt that more of a discount would have been appropriate. I am a Bonvoy member and didn’t find the stay the most pleasant. We spent a lot of time out of the room purposely.

    Good location, clean hotel Elevators are horribly inefficient. The hotel was overbooked the day we arrived causing my friend and her kids to not get their room until 10:30pm! Elevators took 20 min to get to lobby at times and was so crowded. They also charge $6 per bag to hold on to your bag if you have a later flight. Check out Park Central down the street. Much better experience and bag drop is free on arrival and check out

    Very clean and well maintained, as is usually the case at a Sheraton. However, the staff, particularly those men standing around in the lobby, didn’t seem to know much about what was available when nor were they able to answer simple questions we asked. The fee that was charged allowed us $35 to spend. However, what was available was meager. Two drinks exceeded that amount. The location of this hotel however is terrific.

    The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained. I will never stay at this hotel again though due to the elevators. I don't know if several were non-functional while I was there, or what was going on, but waiting for the elevator (going from lobby and going to lobby) took longer here than any other hotel I've been to. A couple times when we passed the hotel while out and about, we considered dropping off purchases we had made, but decided not to just to avoid using the elevators. Everything else about this hotel is pretty great, but the elevators just tank it.

    Overall great experience. However there were two staff members at the library bar each night out of which one was very very rude to my daughter when she asked for glass of ice. His physical reaction was very demeaning. I wanted to address it to the hotel management but my child stopped me. I think hotel management should look into this employee snd replace him with more customer service oriented personnel. We stayed for 7 nights and we’ll stay again at this hotel. We stay at such hotels and pay top dollars for customer service and ambience and if staff is rude it defeats the purpose.

    Great location in NYC and clean, quiet rooms with a subway outside the door and Central Park and all the main attractions and easy walk. I stay here regularly when visiting family in the city.     Great location, beautiful property. They charged some sort of a tax , $40.00 daily. They said it would be offset by giving us $35.00 daily in credit to the room to use in the Starbucks or bar inside the hotel. We tried to use it but the Starbucks has 2 workers and a 1 hour line and the bartenders made terrible drinks and the bar staff was so rude.

    Unfortunately, our check-in experience was disappointing. Our room was not ready when we arrived, and we had to wait almost four hours with nowhere comfortable to sit or wait. Nothing was offered to us during this time, and I had to ask for compensation for the delay. The room itself was okay, but there was visible wear and tear throughout, including the furniture, shower, doors, and general fittings. Overall, while the location is excellent, the hotel really needs refurbishment and better guest facilities to match the number of tourists it receives.

And I really didn’t like that we were charged $35 dollars a night which could be offset against purchases in the hotel but if I didn’t want to purchase a drink or food I had to pay it anyway.     Excellent location with close proximity to major subway lines and attractions. Easy walk to Central Park, Times Square, Hell's Kitchen, Rockefeller Center. Staff was very helpful. The room we stayed in was in major need of updating and general sprucing up. Smaller than rooms I've stayed in at Hilton Midtown but much bigger than others in the area. It is a conference hotel, so the lobby is BUSY much of the time. With that said, the room felt clean, the beds were comfortable, and the hotel was quiet enough to sleep well at night.

    Stayed May 29–31, 2026. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was disappointing and frustrating. I booked through Booking.com and paid in advance. When I arrived around 7:30–8:00 PM for check-in, I was informed about a mandatory destination fee of approximately $40 per night. While I understand hotels may have additional fees, this was not clearly communicated during my booking experience. The biggest issue was the lack of clear communication regarding the hotel credits included with the destination fee. I was told I would receive a $35 credit per night and specifically asked whether that meant $70 total for my two-night stay. I was told yes. However, when I attempted to use the credit on the second day, a staff member told me it could only be used once. At checkout, I was then told that the remaining credit could not be used that day because it had to be used the night before. None of these restrictions were explained at check-in. Had someone taken a few minutes to explain the rules clearly, this confusion could have been avoided. Thankfully, Chloe at the front desk was very helpful and ultimately resolved the issue regarding the final $35 credit. She was professional and deserves recognition. Unfortunately, there were also cleanliness and maintenance problems in our room. During our stay, I found and killed a cockroach in the bathroom. There was visible black mold, spider webs, and the bathtub drained very poorly, causing water to build up while showering. I have photos documenting some of these issues. I was traveling with my wife and two daughters, so cleanliness was especially important to us. Between the confusing fee and credit policies and the condition of the bathroom, this was not the experience we expected from a hotel in this category and price range.     The worst experience ever. They claim is a free self parking but when you get there someone takes your car, if you want to use it during the day they try to charge you 20 dollars plus 95 dollars per night. When I try to talk with the manager he told me is a third party company and there is nothing they can do about, turns out in my cc the charge shows as Sheraton NY. They just allowed employees to scam you. Plus, I couldn’t use the TV because the control TV didn’t work, I ask for a new one that also didn’t work and they never try to fix my problem. The manager was so rude and helpless.

    The hotel was great and the location was awesome! The only issue was as the elevators. We stayed in floor 11 and it seems like everyone was in the same lower floors, so there were lines in the lobby to get into the elevator and it was taking forever to get to the lobby.

    Unclean, showers dirty, coffee machine literally had dust all over it, walls stained. Also if you keep your blinds open people in other rooms were using their tv remotes to attempt and add charges to your room. I was double charged resort fees and based on other reviews I was too nervous to use the 35$ room credits. I also found the elevator to sometimes be an issue and everyone would crowd around waiting for an elevator and be rude to one another. Not much good to say about this hotel other than it was a place to sleep.

    Fridge was not plugged in and was damaged. We didn’t attempt to plug it in as it felt suspect at best. Toilet seat was not secure making it odd to use it. Chairs were stained - looked like they attempted to clean, but who knows what was there before. The location in Times Square is wonderful and the price point for that location is the ONLY reason we’d consider staying here again. Are we completely unhappy with our stay? No. But we will definitely look at other option next visit to NYC.

    Room cleaners did a great job Staff at the front desk have no manners and lack client service esp the lady who checked us out - didn’t even greet properly or make eye contact. Workers at the bell room for bag are not at all client friendly. Overall the facility was ok Staff needs lots of training on their inter personal skills. I rate them 2/10. Also there was no flower vase or anything in the front lobby to brighten up the area. Food at the Library bar was great but I have some suggestions for improvement. You need people like me to train your staff. You need to change the work culture. In this world of growing competition service differentiating and by making few changes Sheraton can lead the market atleast in New York. It’s at a great location.

    The stay was fine. Two elevators were down during our stay. Of particular note, there is a $40/day destination fee not really mentioned anywhere obvious. The only way to make use of it is at the hotel bar or breakfast, and it is use or lose. Probably works well for a solo traveler, but not ideal for a family. Location is good.concierge complimentary items limited to a two-hr scooter rental and two tickets to the Guggenheim. Again ok for a solo traveler or a pair, but not for a family.

    Housekeeping was ordinary and we did need to chase things up, we paid for 3 sharing but onky received twin top ups for towels and coffee etc. We returned one afternoon after lunch to find the staff had left our door unlocked. We did report this to reception staff. I will give our bed a comfort rating of 10/10, with an absolutely beautiful nights sleep.

    1) The property charges a ~ $40 destination fee at checkin which includes city tax ($2-3) and a credit of $35 to spend in their restaurant. Just recouping this $35 daily made my stay intolerable as that meant we couldn't have dinner or a drink late elsewhere, and this $35 played at the top of the mind. 2) The room coffee amenity was weird. The machine was one with pods but no pods were supplied but filter coffee sachets. One had to boil/heat up the water using the pod machine and then enjoy the coffee. A simple water kettle would have done it. 3) The beds were very high. For a short person it meant almost doing a long jump to get on the bed! 4) 2 of the lifts were down for 1 day in the stay. Its a very busy hotel and it meant long wait for the lift or taking the stairs.

    The lifts for the lower levels (2-20) are HORRENDOUS! The systems kept getting overridden and usually only 1 lift worked with queues of people waiting. We spoke to a member of staff at the desk to see if they could help as we had 2 very tired children and we were met with a shrug and that there is nothing they could do and we could use the stairs! For a building catering for so many people the lift situation is awful and really needs maintaining better or having the whole system overridden. This was a massive let down for us in regards to the hotel.

    Location is fabulous! I am a Marriott Bonvoy member. I highly appreciate the Marriot hotels. 1. I was very disappointed because I wrote to the hotel (a lot of messages with many days before our arrival) requesting a high position of the room with a Central Park view. Unfortunately, the Reception staff were unpleasant and without any understanding of the customers. Their reply: "So, are you a Marriott Bonvoy Member?" "So what you requested was a high-level floor?"     On the downside the elevators were a nightmare. The amount of ppl waiting in the lobby for elevators was ridiculous. So access to our room on floor 10 was a lottery. On 2 occasions we had to use the lift to floor 20 and walk down 10 floors to access our room. On leaving the room the elevator wasn’t available on a few occasions leaving us to call the reception for a service lift or just use the stairs. It put a real downer on what otherwise would have been a wonderful stay. We did not use any othe facilities as the lines were way too big. Over all I would probably choose a different hotel for future visits.

    My stay was just okay. It's an older hotel, so the rooms and bathrooms are a bit outdated, but still comfortable. Some of the staff were amazing, specifically those working at the coffee bar in the mornings and those working at the bar in the evenings. Others weren't so great.     Another major issue was the shower water temperature. The water stayed cold the entire time, so we were never able to have a comfortable shower during our stay. On top of that, after checkout they charged us $12 USD to store a carry-on suitcase and backpack for only two hours, which felt unreasonable.     I traveled to New York with my 3 young sons and the stay made the trip much more memorable. The location is top tier, I had no idea we would be so close to Times Square. We were able to explore and come back often if we needed a break. The staff is 10/10. We had the most beautiful connection with the front desk attendant. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating. Housekeeping did an amazing job every single day. Breakfast was nice with great options both morning we ate there. I could go on and on. I’m literally so happy I chose to stay here and will stay again whenever I come back. If you are thinking of booking, do it!

    The room was a good size and centrally located. The front desk staff were not rude, but not pleasant. I had some basic questions about check-in, and they were not helpful. Also had an issue with them charging an additional deposit of hundreds and hundreds of dollars, and they basically told me I was imagining things, even though it clearly shows up on my credit card statement. Even after checkout, the two charges are still out there and not finalized and do not match with what was agreed upon when I made the reservation. There were also a ton of issues with the elevators and so it took a long time to both get on from the lobby and go down to the lobby throughout my stay.

    Our first night was disrupted by a loud party in the adjacent room. The in-room phone lines were perpetually engaged, forcing me to visit reception twice in person. Nothing was done. The next morning, stepping out of our room, I encountered multiple individuals sleeping on the floor outside our door and near the elevators—several visibly unwell and covered in blood, one in clear medical distress. I reported this immediately. Reception assured me security would intervene. Thirty minutes later, they remained unchanged. One hour after my initial report—and only after I stated I'd call an ambulance—did staff finally act. Their explanation: "security went to the wrong floor." My niece was deeply traumatised by this scene. I have photographs and video documentation of the incident. The duty manager's response was indifferent. They offered two warm bottles of water as an "apology"—worth perhaps 20 cents. I was promised the General Manager would contact me. They did not. On checkout, the day manager apologised and promised the GM would contact me "as soon as possible." It has now been 18 days since the incident and 10 days since checkout. No one has reached out. This fell far short of Marriott standards. I expect a substantive response from senior leadership addressing these operational and safeguarding failures.

    Electronic allocation/request elevator to your floor. There were days people waited 20 to 30 minutes for the elevator to be allocated to our floor. We stayed on the 19th floor. So taking the stairs was not an option… this morning (departure day) we exited the room 1 hour and 15 minutes to meet our driver at the entrance. Today 4 elevators were out of service. They had us walk down 3 flights to a workable service elevator.. keep in mind we had luggage to go down the 4 flights… Room cleaning was below par if anything. One day they would not leave towels, the next day they would take the bath Matt and not put a new one. They NEVER vacuumed the room during our 5 days. My advice. Stat clear of this hotel OR make sure you plan an extra hour and a half to 2 hours to exit the building. Will never stay here again.

    Front desk staff were lovely. Great location central to everything. The room could have been cleaner, our bath was full of someone else’s hair. The elevators run on a computer system that make riding the elevator a nuisance. You select your floor on a screen and it directs you to a specific elevator but doesn’t equate for 10 other people and their luggage so if the one it assigns you is full, you have to go back and start again. Sometimes took us 3 rounds until we got on the elevator to our floor.

    There us nothing about the hotel to like. Location is the only thing this hotel has going for it. The last time we stayed here we had to wait an hour to check in and never wanted to come back but did because of the price, but never again. I'd rather pay 1,000 more dollars to stay anywhere else. The elevators didn't work, only 2 out of about 12 did, and they were so jammed up and crowded we couldn't get on one when we checked in and were forced to climb seven flights of stairs with 4 bags of luggage and they didn't care. And they had a code on the stairwell and we had to have an employee unlock it after we told them we were using the stairs because they won't give you the code. They also make you pay 6 dollars a bag to hold before checking in and you can't use hotel credit on it or the gift shop for food.     Checking in was super fast and easy. The bed was absolutely wonderful! The only thing I feel needed instructions was how to use the elevators. At the entrance to the bank of elevators, you have to select the floor you're going to because once you enter the elevator, you can't select the floor as there isn't anyway to do so. But overall, the restaurants and shops on the premises had convient hours. Plus this hotel is close to everything! Definitely recommend it and coming back.

    People were friendly and hotel was nice and clean. The only thing is rooms don't have microwave nor a fridge and we couldn't bring any cold items to the room, nor did they have an ice machine no where. Room was clean and beds were comfortable but pillows were very flat and uncomfortable. The only thing that wasn't good, the bathroom ceiling had a big yellow stain, like water damage. I called about the bathroom door handle came right off as I opened the door and a the door handle had a screw that wasn't screwed all the way in. I did called and complained and no one came to fix it when office said they was going to send someone to fix. Bathroom sink faucet was loose n moves side to side. The next day when we were going to sleep, my son spotted dry blood on his sheets and they were ripped on the side. I called front desk and they did send someone with clean sheets. The breakfast downstairs was not worth $95 even though they gave us $35 credit. We only ate there 1 time. I wish they can add a microwave and a small fridge with it being an expensive room. Other than that we did have a nice time.

    My only complaint is that we paid for an early check in and they lost that reservation, blaming it on me. Said they “didn’t have any rooms available.” When I came back with proof, they magically had a room available. Curious. Be ready to wait for elevators. Who designed the elevator system?!     The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The rooms need to be renovated. The bar drinks are weak and the bartenders are a little unfriendly. The breakfast buffet or any options they had were impossible to get to because there’s so many people staying there on any given day. Then for some reason our room magically checked itself out and the only reason I knew was because they couldn’t find us in the system when we tried closing our bar tab. When we went to the front desk to check on this the employee working just said let me check with my manager then came back and said sorry it was just a glitch in the system and then proceeded to give us new keys. It would’ve been nice to be given an upgrade for their faulty system. This almost made us late to a broadway show we had tickets for. If you’re traveling on a budget then this hotel does the job but if you can spend more on lodging highly recommend it.

    Has been our 4th time already in this hotel. First time we got a good view and nice room but the other 3 times our room had always a bad view even though I asked at the reception and in advance for a good view.     Highly disappointed with my stay here over this past weekend. For as much as I paid to stay here I expected to be accommodated a bit more than I was. Coffee maker in room was broken. No wash rags in room. Ice machine was broken on our floor. No refrigerator but told we could have one with a “small” fee. Had to pay for luggage to be locked up. 6 dollars per item. There was 4 of us. So that got expensive quickly when I’ve been coming to New York for years now and always locked up my luggage for free. When asking front desk for items I just spoke about we were treated as if we were a bother and very annoyed attitude. I’ll definitely never stay here again my next visit.

    The receptionist who checked us in that evening was a disaster. She kept saying my account had insufficient funds and treated us horribly. I swiped all my cards, and the problem was the the sheraton POS system. I went to another, much kinder gentleman, and my cards worked perfectly. That woman was deplorable. Then, at checkout, they charged me $79 for breakfast when it should have been half that amount since I had my complimentary voucher, which they said was for use that evening. That Sheraton and its staff are disgusting. Decadent.

    The hotel is very close to subway and atttactions. The mandatory $35 daily charge required by the hotel is used towards food and drinks. The breakfast has a wide selection of warm and cold foods as well as Starbucks for specialty drinks. The dinner menu has a selection from steak to sandwiches with sides of salad or French fries, the dining room also has a bar available for alcoholic drinks with soft music. The staff is pleasant and attentive. The only negative review is that the hotel did have available bath robes, slippers, or extra blankets, but they were provided upon request. The bathroom ceiling and door were chipping and peeling. Overall, I was happy with my stay at the Sheraton Midtown Manhattan.

    The breakfast was pricy so se skipped it. Our room was older and needed a little work. The csrpets were dirty and the wall treatment in the bathroom was coming apart. We were in a room with no view so maybe if we had paid more for a room with a view the room would have been nicer? The hotel is located in an area that is walking distance to a lot of attractions, so that was nice. The line for starbucks was really long every morning, plan on at least 30 minutes wait time or you better go really early or just plan to ho somewhere outside the hotel were they can serve you faster.

    We arrived about 7:30 PM and there was no room available. They said they would call us when it was ready. At 9:00 PM (after no phone call) we stood in line again another 15 minutes and were finally given a room. There was a quiet time posted for 10:00 PM, but there was a loud party at the end of the hall near our room that went to 11:30 PM. It was not a guest room, but a space the hotel rents out. Our room was very small and the furnishing were old, but it was clean.

They do not allow early check in and make you pay $6 per bag to hold your luggage until the room is ready. That's the most ridiculous think I've ever heard! I was already paying $300+ a night, and now you're going to charge me $6 PER bag to hold my luggage for 2-3 hours because you didn't get the room ready?! Totally felt nickle and dimed! They tell everyone to come back and check in at 4pm and then there's a HUGE line to check in that moves incredibly slow. We stood in line for over 30 minutes and we were near the front of the line.

Lastly, I was charged twice for the stay. I disputed the duplicate charge as soon as I noticed it, and thankfully, the refund was processed.

    There was only one elevator working for our floors. Huge lines and long waits. We ended up taking the stairs most of the time. We were on the 26th floor. I had my handicap parents with us so we had a van. The parking was 110$ every time you got your car out and brought back. It was horrible and this is not told to you on the website.

    There is no fridge and the microwave is in the hallway for EVERYONE to use. The elevators kept malfunctioning and I got trapped on it with multiple people going up and down not stopping at the right floors. I eventually had to walk 11 flights to get to my room. On top of that I slipped in their tub and sprained my ankle because their non slip stuff is cheap. The elevator panel was broken off the wall. 4 star hotel my ass

    It’s a nice hotel. Close to Times Square but not right in the very center you have to walk a little down but not bad at all. The lines were long to do bag checks because everyone gets there early hoping for early check in and are told the rooms aren’t ready but I wasn’t ready to be charged $6 to check each bag. They give you a $35 credit to the room to use for their on-site restaurant but the breakfast is conveniently $47ish. You’re paying 😭 the rooms were nice, not the cleanest ever in the bathroom but it was clean and acceptable. I was pleasantly surprised to get room service when I didn’t ask for it. That was nice and appreciated.

    I joined Marriott Bonvoy before my stay and received an app notification on arrival morning that my room was ready. However, upon arriving at the hotel, I was told no room was available and that the app was incorrect. After checking back multiple times throughout the day, we eventually returned in the evening and were able to check in just before 7:00 p.m., making for a very long arrival day. There were also repeated credit card charges during the stay ($200 and multiple $150 charges) that were not clearly explained upfront. As an international guest with USD limits on my card, this caused unnecessary stress. While one staff member was eventually helpful in clarifying and stopping further holds, the process lacked transparency. Housekeeping did maintain the room well, but overall the service and communication did not meet expectations. I would not stay here again.

    Staff is not attentive or much friendly. We went to the Liberty Bar and had some questions about the menu, it seemed to bothered the staff there and they weren’t helpful. I ordered a Sassy Margarita and made sure to explain 3 times that I did not want Jalapeno added. The Jalapeno was still added and when I returned it seemed like an inconvenience for them. Which made me not want a drink anymore and almost $20 were wasted. Our Tv did not worked and was not helped when asked. The hotel also isn’t very clean, elevators and overall hotel is dusty and windows are dirty. We found an hair-tie full of hair by our bed which means it was not cleaned. I had heard really good reviews but I was disappointed. I understand it’s a big hotel and workers are busy but the least they could do is “act” friendly or helpful.

    Waited over 1hr to check in only for them to tell me they had NO clean rooms. I booked two double beds only to be bumped down to a king size bed for my two daughters & myself. It gets better! In addition, key cards did not work well when trying to get elevators. Several of the elevator display pads on the floors were broken and didn’t work. Made it difficult to get down and up on the elevator. No phones in the room to call the front desk or anything. Television had problems and we reported it to the front desk and they said they would send a maintenance person up to fix, but that never happened. We finally were able to get the television working properly ourselves. Hotel was not the best at following up on customer service.

    The housekeeper tried to get into my room twice without knocking on the checkout day!!!! once early in the morning and the second time 30 minutes before checkout. There was a $6 USD fee for each luggage item to be held before the actual check-in time. The person who checked us in didn’t tell us about the water coupon, and I paid $30 for four bottles of water at the hotel’s café. The elevators were very slow and dirty.     Paint was peeling, things were old and falling apart. Elevators stopped working to get to our floor. Gave zero accommodations to help ease some of the stress and anxiety that came with getting stuck another day. Water fountain stayed dirty with someones spit in it for multiple days. Couldnt even fill water bottles. Bed was comfy. Pillows were awful. I really am sad about the experience.

    We had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton New York during our recent trip. From the moment we arrived, the hotel felt welcoming and well-organized. The location was excellent — close to so many attractions, restaurants, and transportation, which made exploring the city very easy, especially for our first time visiting New York. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The bed was cozy, and we were able to relax after long days of sightseeing. The hotel itself felt safe and busy in a good way, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. Staff we interacted with were friendly and professional, and everything from check-in to check-out went smoothly. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would definitely consider staying here again on a future trip to New York.

    I messaged the hotel twice and called to request an early check-in, with no response. At check-in, we were told that a room would be ready within an hour and that we would receive a call when our room was ready. In the meantime, we could leave our bags at the hotel until it was time to check in, so after waiting in line to check in, we got in line to check our bags at the cost of $6 per bag. After receiving no call to let us know that our room was ready, we returned to the hotel for the normal checkin time, and waited in line for the third time. The customer service representative at check-in was completely unapologetic that we did not receive the promised call within the hour or even two hours. I’d call her rude, but she probably deals with tons of rude people all day, so benefit of the doubt. When we got to the room, the TV was not working. We were told it was a hotel wide problem that could last for several days. The room was OK but the coffee maker had not been cleaned, and contained used grounds. Overall a good location, but very much lacking customer service.

    Will never stay at this hotel again. Staff is very rude and indifferent. The hotel is under staffed and several were inexperienced. I had to go back down to the desk 3 different times to get a room key to then find out they had maintenance people working on my assigned room. When I went to the desk a fourth time, they spent 15 minutes getting me a room. Their attitude and lack of interest was appalling. First 1 I ever gave, but my experience at this hotel deserves it. Also, be aware of the long checkin wait and baggage storage line. Both were over 50 minutes each.

    That lady who checked me in at the Front Desk was amazing however, when we got to our room, it had a very bad stench. Turns out it was coming from the refrigerator had lots of old food inside of it, as well as a drawer filled with all kind of condiments some of them opened because of none of the housekeeper spoke English. I cleaned it out myself. Also, I was told that we get $35 a day and you had to use it because you’re gonna be charged regardless the breakfast buffet was $74pp and the hot food was awful dry and hard. Good options but because it’s sat there for so long, not really edible I came at 8:15 am and it was served from 6:30 to 10:30 AM one of my pillowcases had a stain on it and the windows were so dirty you couldn’t see out of them

    Customer service was very bad they were rude. Tv didn’t work we got no assistance to fix. Asked for towels they brought the wrong ones and never brought the right ones after multiple request. The only good thing is the location.

    I stayed at the Sheraton for 4 days, it was amazing! We arrived early for check-in, so we put our luggage in the $30 luggage storage. At 4 pm the check-in line was huge, but since we had checked in early, we had access to a shorter line. So the tip is: arrive early! The breakfast is very good! The staff is very friendly! My advice is: include breakfast in your room rate. It's worth it! We didn't have any problems!

    Our first check-in was a pleasant experience. Even though our room was not available they offered us a temporary room so we could get ready for our show. Then we moved to our proper room on our return.

    Overall very good! Location is great (can be noisy with traffic sounds but that is expected) rooms clean and comfortable. Long lines for coffee in the morning and long waits for elevators sometimes. All of the staff were very friendly. Would stay here again!
