The staff so friendly and helpful! We really appreciated the cold iced tea, water, coffee, etc in the breakfast nook, as well as bagels in the morning. Immaculately clean too! Nothing. Would definitely stay again.

I had a warm welcome by Carlos which really made me feel welcome. Breakfast was not included however, they offered hot beverages and croissants and bagels to all guests. Good location, within walking distance to Times Square and Broadway. Highly Recommended. Nothing to complain about.

I chose this hotel because it was the least expensive available for my dates close to the Union League Club where I was planning to attend a meeting. The staff were very friendly, the room had nice finishes, was very comfortable and had cute touches like a lavendar pouch next to the pillows and Lindt truffles/apples/wate/coffee maker in the room. My only complaint is that the room was only slightly larger than the bed. While this is pretty common in European hotels and boutiques in New York, it still always surprises me. I guess it encourages you to get out and see the city, but if you had to do work, or take a call in your room, I am not sure where you would do it.

Very clean, tastefully decorated. Rooms were on the small size, but well designed, offering lots of amenities. The beds were extremely comfortable, side tables were designed to accommodate charging of electronics equally on both sides of the bed; good lighting for reading, excellent tv, water and espresso machine. Our room was on the 15th floor and very quiet. Also, on the main floor, they had water, teas, a sophisticated coffee machine and fresh fruit available at all times. In the morning they had bagels. They also had a lovely outside patio with tables. The location is excellent for sightseeing and surrounded by excellent selection of restaurants and coffee shops. Highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again when I visit NYC

The standard room at the back was comfortable, clean and peaceful. The bed was super comfy. First night we had a superior room, but switched because it was (slightly) small(er), and the A/C was noisy and there was some streetnoise (honking). At the back only sometimes distant clunking (maybe from the elevator) every minute or so. The standard room is very efficient in layout. The complimentary coffee is very good, and the free bagels a real perk. The entrance with lobby is functional, small, not very inviting to hangout a bit for a lazy afternoon or morning. Feels more like 3-stars. The general area is a business area also not necessarily a place to hangout. The subway green line is close by, other lines are further walking. CitiBikea are a great option!

The property is small with just a few rooms on each floor. The elevators are super fast and require key access. It feels very safe. The rooms are tiny - and yet well appointed, clean and very nice. Loved having plenty of places to plug in devices. Appreciated having a steamer in the room. Great for couples, mom/daughter adventures or singles. Highly recommended.

They were able to balance both a professional and personal tone with every interaction with them. Both very welcoming and willing to share their knowledge of the surrounding area. I apologize for not catching their names but the FD team on 3/2 during our checkout was also very professional and appreciated their hand-holding with the checkout experience. Would 100% stay here again. They are accomodating, clean, have good coffee and croissant, excellent hospitality, and access to reduced cost parking. Good HVAC, spacious one bedroom studio suite, safe environment. I forgot to print a presentation and to bring my toothbrush, both were easily taken care of by their accessible and polite staff.

I love how close this hotel was to everything. I was able to walk around or take a subway at grand central station which is a few minutes walking distance. The staff was friendly, they had snacks downstairs and my room was cleaned everyday which I appreciated a lot. I would definitely stay here again!

The only problem I had was that both the sink and the shower were clogged. As soon as I run the water, there would be a big puddle within seconds. It also did not help that the floor for the shower wasn’t even and sort of caved in a bit like an upside down umbrella, so the entire shower floor was one big puddle.

Amanda at the concierge desk is a wonderful person. She along with the rest of the staff are accommodating, welcoming, and kind people. The hotel is clean, parking is convenient across the street, located just a short walk to Times Square, lots of eateries and Bryant Park is just around the corner for a good cup of Joe in the park.

The Pestana at Park Avenue was fantastic. It is in a great location with Grand Central Station only 3 blocks away. The property was clean and in good shape. My wife and I would recommend this hotel for many reasons, but most of all for how quiet it was.

The challenge: The rooms are extremely small, even by NYC standards. There are no larger room options available, which became quite challenging when staying with my partner and our dog. The space felt cramped with three of us (including our four-legged family member), and it was difficult to move around comfortably or store our belongings. For those who are planning to book, I recommend reconsidering. I booked this hotel because of the high rating; however, I feel I got scammed. First things first: I was charged an extra fee upon arrival for something called a “facilities fee,” with no prior notice or explanation. The room is so freaking small, and I booked the “stream view” yet could barely see any street. More important, I didn’t know the parking garage across the street closes at 10 PM, forcing me to scramble to find parking each night.NOW PLEASE READ MORE CAREFULLY! The room is right next to another room, so you hear all the noise, morning housekeeping, the elevator door closing, guests slamming their door, everything sounds like it’s in your room. I stayed three nights and didn’t get a single good sleep. Also worth mentioning: the AC unit sits directly above the bed and is so noisy. For those who are planning to book, I recommend reconsidering. I booked this hotel because of the high rating; however, I feel I got scammed. First things first: I was charged an extra fee upon arrival for something called a “facilities fee,” with no prior notice or explanation. The room is so freaking small, and I booked the “stream view” yet could barely see any street. More important, I didn’t know the parking garage across the street closes at 10 PM, forcing me to scramble to find parking each night.NOW PLEASE READ MORE CAREFULLY! The room is right next to another room, so you hear all the noise, morning housekeeping, the elevator door closing, guests slamming their door, everything sounds like it’s in your room. I stayed three nights and didn’t get a single good sleep. Also worth mentioning: the AC unit sits directly above the bed and is so noisy. Very nice modern clean hotel. The front desk staff were so friendly and welcoming every time we walked into the hotel. They were very helpful with giving recommendations for restaurants. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to see and do in NY. We would definitely stay here again

Excellent stay from start to finish. The room albeit NYC size, was fabulous and had more than enough space for 2 with luggage. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Very clean, quiet and perfect location for all things NYC - Times Square, Grand Central, 5th Ave. Could not recommend this highly enough.

It is a small room but it is very clean and you're not in your room much in NYC. Bunk beds were comfortable. Pastries and coffee were excellent. Customer service was terrific. Very friendly.

I needed to be near Bryant park for a lecture and this was the perfect location ! Extremely walkable to the park as well as Grand Central. Hotel was fantastic, parking was super easy ( next door as well as across the street. Would highly recommend Mulligans pub around the corner as well.

Jaoquin and Samantha were the concierge that checked us in. They were welcoming and accommodating. Excellent service. The place is clean, the room was nice with a balcony. All of the staff greeted you. I highly recommend the hotel.

I loved staying at Pestana Park Ave! The receptionists were very attentive and kind. The room and the bathroom were very well cleaned. I've been to other hotels in NY, and usually it's smaller than this hotel and there are molds in the showerbooth. I'm very pleased and wish to visit again.

I celebrate my husbands birthday and they were kind enough to make it special for him. Staff was super friendly and kind in everything. Room was super clean and beds were extremely comfortable. I would stay here next visit to the city!

I was very happy with my stay. Less than a 5 minute walk to Grand Central. Shopping in Herald Square. Many dining options. The room was small but VERY clean. The staff was incredibly friendly.

The bedroom was beautiful, nice city view. The gold finish on the sink is starting to come off but ehh not a big deal. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out was smooth.

The rooms are cozy—just right for short business trips—and the balcony was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of meetings. It added such a nice touch to my stay. This will be my go-to hotel whenever I’m in Midtown, and I’ll definitely be looking out for Pestana properties in other cities and countries during future travels. Highly recommend!

Everything done right. Professional, welcoming staff. Room was clean, great amenities, quiet, great location. Grab and go breakfast and all-day coffee drinks.

Overall good experience, convenient location and clean room. The downside is that the elevator is a bit old and slow. Also the door is very close to the elevator so you can hear the sound of elevator every morning.

Very nice, small hotel near Grand Central Station. Easy access to all of NYC. Food options/breakfast was only thing I'd ask them to improve. Great value and place to stay while in NYC.

Loved that we were so close to the grand central terminal. The view from our room was not the best but we could see a part of the Chrysler building from our window. Despite the room being small it was still a decent size and easy to get around. Water pressure was great in the shower. They provided free bakery items and coffee in the mornings. Didn’t have any issues with noise. No gym on the property they partner with a gym a couple blocks away didn’t love that

I have stayed at the Pestana Park now many times. When you walk in the lobby is scented so well (what do they use!), the location is near perfect (close to Grand Central yet very quiet) and the rooms are immaculate. The highlight is the staff. They are so kind and attentive. I couldn’t recommend it more.

The staff was tremendous from the time we walked in.. they were available all hours of the evening and explained everything very thoroughly. Definitely the perfect amount of space for me and my boyfriend. We will definitely be staying again!

My stay was a 10/10 the only thing about it is they have no way to heat ur food up or no Jacuzzi but very clean

First time staying here and needed something convenient to Grand Central and the UN for work. Great location, easily walkable, excellent restaurants in any direction, and near attractions like the Met and Central Park. Highly recommend for a short stay. Rooms are NYC size, but very clean, and well designed. Will stay here again and soon.

My wife and I stayed at Pestana Park for a week, and we can't say enough good things about the hotel and its staff. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, warm, and friendly. The rooms are smaller than what you might expect, but it's New York, and I checked the square footage on their website before booking, so I wasn't surprised. The rooms were impeccably clean, and housekeeping was provided every day. Nice bathroom/shower, there was also great water pressure from the showerheads. Each morning, they served bagels and pastries. We highly recommend Pestana Park and will definitely return. A huge thank you to the amazing staff!

While the space was compact, it was NOT uncomfortable. The design of the room is very intentional in using all space efficiently and conveniently. The bed was comfortable. The environment was quiet. The shower head was AMAZING - making it really hard to come back to our shower at home. It was lovely to have a water dispenser as well as coffee and tea available in the lobby at all times. The continental breakfast was not expected but turned out to be very convenient for us. There are MANY places to eat within one block. The proximity to Grand Central Station was very convenient. The staff was outstanding. We would definitely return to this property!

It did the job of being a quiet place to sleep and that was good enough for me. I had a superior room, but I don’t think it was any different to the regular room.
